Stage start!
#1
A red-armored girl was kneeling in a pitch black scenery. She'd see nothing, but the faint shape of what seemed to be a person, though somehow, it didn't felt like a human nor a reploid. For whatever reason, that figure was grinning while staring at Ciel, not saying a word.

The scientist attempted to talk to it instead, but found so to be futile, as her voice didn't seem to be coming out. She was confused and also very scared. She felt powerless, especially when in front of such a thing. Ciel had long given up the idea that whatever it was, it surely was not your average, common being.

“W-what's going to happen now…” thought Ciel, standing still as the grinning figure kept on staring silently at her. Her eyes were shaking slightly, as the young scientist was starting to let herself be victim to the pressure.

Out of a sudden, however, the strange being had the silence cut short when they began to talk. “My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

Their voice was masculine and rather imposing, which only served to increase Ciel’s fear of the current situation. Interest him? Omniverse? The scientist immediately thought that this thing surely sounded like some sort of god or crazy strong being.

Before continuing, Omni, or at least how the figure identified himself as, handed a little, glimmering sphere. It had a perfect, round shape and it glew with different colors simultaneously; Ciel couldn't just not admit that the item was extremely beautiful, not the most beautiful thing she has ever seen though, but it was pretty high on the ladder. Then, she raised her head to stare again at Omni, who resumed his explanation.

“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.

“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.

“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

“D-death? Did I misheard you? Hey!”

Sadly, Ciel wouldn't have her doubt cleared anytime soon. When she came to herself, the scientist immediately realised that she wasn't in the black void anymore. No, instead, she was standing in an elevator whose shape was similar to the one found on the resistance base. Upon looking around her, and judging by the sound the machine was making, it seems that she was moving down, however, it was impossible for her to know where the ground was.

This new area was if a deep white, contrasting with the darkness of the pitch black void. Also, unlike the void, light illuminated the place, though it was unknown for the girl where this brightness came from, as no sun nor artificial source of light seemed to be present anywhere. No other color could be seen anywhere, if it wasn't by several gates set on the distance, which looked very small, but recognizable enough.

“I wonder for how long will this go d—” Almost as if it was waiting on Ciel to ask, the elevator made a sound and then stopped, only to turn off afterwards. Albeit strange, the scientist figured that it was only an one-way travel with no chance of going back the way she came. Gulping a bit at this fact, the scientist moved out of the elevator and onto the infinite whiteness.

Ciel looked scared and unsure, walking slowly and with one of her hands pressed tightly against her chest. She looked around, but unlike previous times, there were humans donning all kinds of clothes and armor, robots of varying models, and even animals standing in their two legs. This last fact surprised her, though, as she had never seen animals do something like that before. “Maybe all animals could do it when they used to exist?” wondered the blond scientist while staring at these miracles of nature—how she referred to them—from afar. However, when one of these “miracles” shot a stare back at her, Ciel averted her eyes and decided to stop looking at them, as it surely was disrespectful.

Not sure about what to do now, the young scientist figured that the best course of action was to actually ask someone else. So, gathering some courage, Ciel moved towards one of these many strangers—a nameless guy—and proceeded with her questions.

After a quick Q&A session, Ciel received plenty of information about the area she was in now. The place was named Nexus and its purpose was to serve as a point of connection between the Verses, worlds that compose the majority, if not all, of the Omniverse. However, this passerby could give her answers about the nature of the white canvas, but nothing more. So, having most of her doubts cleared off, Ciel gave him thanks and bid farewell to this stranger.

“Alright, but knowing more about this place didn't give me an idea of what to do now…” Ciel sighed and then drew the rainbow-colored sphere out. The scientist stared sadly at it, while she could only wonder, “If I desire it enough, will this item let me see you again…?” The image of a red-armored guy holding a green, hardlight sword flashed in her memory for a second, only to vanish into nothing shortly after. “Zero…” Letting out a sigh, Ciel began to think—again—in what would be her next step to take. “I think that it would be better if I had something to sit on.”

Almost as if could read her thoughts, the ball she was holding shone with a warm light. Ciel felt she should be shocked, but the current situation somehow felt familiar and thus she just stared at the light for as long it was necessary, awaiting for something to happen. It took a few minutes, probably, but the light finally died down and in front of the scientist was now a chair. It was green in color, covered with a soft, green fabric on the seat and was kept in place with a thin arm joined to a tripod.

“I see, it was like he said—this object will grant all my desires, but why it didn't glow when I wished to see Zero?” she wondered. Ciel then kept on staring at the chair for a while, before she finally sat on it. It was unbelievably comfy, much more than anything she had sit on before.
“It's no use to keep thinking about that, time to figure out my next step, there must be something I could do here.” That said, the scientist bopped her face twice with open palms, as the grim expression that she had on her face became slightly more bright. Although she probably won’t admit it, Ciel was hoping that someone would come and led her a helping her.

Upon a closer inspection of his surroundings Mori realized that surrounding landscape was more than just white. It was also dotted with a few glimmering dots on the horizon. There also seemed to be figures going from dot to dot which appeared to be people. Mori took one last look around him and noticed what he had somehow missed before. He wasn't the only one here at the fountain. He saw a few other figures around him, most of them seemed to pay him no mind. Some looked as confused as he did, and still others looked as though they were waiting for someone and kept shifting their eyes, scanning for something unknown to Mori.  Still, with all these people gearing up for a fight Mori decided to prepare in case something happened.  He quickly stretched out in preparation to launch a little training exercise for himself. Mori quickly spun Yeoui around before releasing a flurry of Re-Taekwondo kicks.

"Why... do I feel so slow?"  Mori pondered aloud as he noticed his speed had dropped considerably. He let out another combination of kicks only to yield the same speed as before. Now he was really confused, why would he have lost so much strength?

Then it occurred to him.

His strength was based on his proximity to Mori Jin. Being in a separate universe must have made Mori Hui significantly weaker than before. Being free from Mori Jin might have let him become his own person but it also meant he would be at his absolute weakest. And if a fight were to break out right now with Mori Hui the way he was then he would almost certainly perish. Mori looked around once again and noticed something else around him. Everyone seemed to be partnered up. With a few exceptions all of the people traveled in pairs or groups, likely to protect from attacks if a fight broke out.

"Maybe I should find someone to tag along with until I can guage just how powerful everyone else is and how weak I've become," Mori said to himself. He decided to walk around the fountain until he found a suitable companion. He had walked around for a few minutes when he noticed somebody he thought he might be able to talk to. It was a young girl, younger than him, or younger than his body's age at least, looking thoughtful while sitting on a comfortable looking green chair. It seemed as though she was trying to process things around her, and also seemed like she was hoping for someone to approach as her eyes flickered whenever someone got near to her.

"Well, here goes nothing..." Mori thought to himself before approaching the girl in the chair and leaning against his stone staff. "Uhm... Excuse me miss but, you wouldn't happen to be new to all of... This as well would you?" He asked as he gestured to everything around them.
