[/float]Location/Role: Ron Burgundy's true location is unknown. However, rumors state that he either is located in his own pocket Verse, or he's actually in the Oververse with Omni.
Ron Burgundy is the go-to name for all news in the Omniverse. If it's happening and worth knowing, you can be sure Ron will tell you about it. He seemingly knows about everything that happens in the Omniverse, even those events shrouded in secrecy. Whether or not he reports on them is another story.
While Burgundy may be well hidden, his veritable army of hovering crystal orbs are a familiar sight to most long-term Omniverse residents. Each is about a foot in diameter and milky white in composition. This color disappears whenever Ron is “interviewing” someone about a story. As such, he has no need for roving reporters.
Story:
Prior to his arrival in the Omniverse. Ron was a well-known news anchor from San Diego, the Spanish translation being: Whale's Vagina. He loved his city, and the city loved him as well. However, all good things must come to an end, and when Veronica Corningstone arrived on the scene, she slowly but surely began to replace Ron. Even as his feelings for her grew, she pushed him from his rightfully deserved lime-light and he was soon conflicted. It was during this time of emotional turmoil that Ron arrived in the Omniverse.
What happened next is shrouded in mystery, but some say that unlike all others, Omni decided not to send Ron to the Fountain. Instead, the man stayed at the God's side, perhaps as a companion or perhaps for some greater purpose.
