Thinking about getting a 2nd or 3rd character? Maybe switching ? Maybe you want to join SSII but you're between two characters who are polar opposites and wonder if they could survive the trip or would be fun to write as for long term?

Welcome to character practice!

Write a "mock post" of the character you are considering (please state who above in quotes or make it clear). You can ask someone to give you a scenario hopefully relevant to the character, or just post your post. Maybe you recruit one of your friends (who knows the canon) to read it for you after and link them here!

If you give feedback be nice and helpful, remember the writer likely wants to know if the character will work for them long term.

I'd like to throw out mostly a fandom OC named Derek "Chopper" Welsh. This guy comes from an alternative universe where John Connor is MIA and instead tries to pick up the mess of what's left of the Resistance and is forced to pick up the pieces.

Or another canon character i'd like to try, a human professor from Dan brown's books.

I been thinking about making an OC based on the Dishonored Series. If anyone has any knowledge about the lore surrounding those games, just throw a random prompt out there. For all intents and purposes and because i dont have certain specifics fleshed out on this guy, consider him an assassin similar to Daud or Corvo.

This is a tidbit that I worked up for the character RED from the 1st gen Pokemon games.

And there I was, just beginning my journey to become Pokemaster. I took the bag mom-dukes gave me--filled with rations, a few potions, and some new running shoes (New Balances--fucking bad ass)--and left out the door.

Across the street, douchebag fucking BLUE is already sauntering towards Professor Oak's. God do I had that prick; his hair is never kept, and he wears the same outfit every day (who the fuck is he, Doug?).

"Hey, cockgobbler!" I yell out loud enough for him to hear, "Eat ass!"

As he takes the time to slowly lock eyes with me, I dash down the beaten path leading from my house, and punch him in the face. That'll teach his bitch ass. I spit in his face while he eats dirt, just for good measure.

"I don't care if Oak's is your grandpa, I got first dibs on poke-slaves, bitch!"
