So, my current plan is to continue on as-is until Nyeseth reveals that he's a Soul Reaper, because Neku would probably ignore "Soul" and just hear "Reaper". He's got some emotional baggage with those guys. Thoughts? I know Desco wants to play with Guu after this, and since she's feeling so downgraded at the moment it's likely that if a fight breaks out she'll leave. What about Rand? What would his reaction be if some kid started throwing lightning around and calling ice from the ground without using the One Power? Might be fun to have Rand think Neku's using the True Power, if he's had an encounter with that where he's from. I haven't read WoT in a while, can't remember if any of the Chosen used that before Moghedien took his hand.

Desco did just introduce her 'job', and called him a Samurai. That is reason enough to correct her assessment to Soul Reaper.
And aye, Desco would run if a fight broke out fearing for herself in her weakened state.

Hmm, Do you think that Neku would be able to travel with Nyeseth at all? if not then I'm probably going to end up with Desco and Guu... which will be... Sigh... interesting. Also, I'm not sure about Rand, I kind of didn't expecting to come back so I'm kind of working with the fact that he's back.
That isn't to say that I wanna go with Neku over anyone, going with Desco would mean Nyeseth has someone to protect? I dunno I could travel with anyone I guess, but I feel like Rand will end up going with Neku.

Well, not like you have to be stuck with us forever. There's always other tough guys out there to create iron forged friendships with. Always other badass fish in the sea. And as soon as you find one, we could always work around your honor bound duty to baby sit us if you want to go off with him.

Hahah well, it'd be like a family, so if we could get an older girl xD which could then provide amusing side story if either Desco or Guu decides they want to be Yandere xD hahahahah xD hmmm... but it's going to be interesting to see how everything turns out.

Well, Guu isn't really Yandere and Desco had canon character development to get around the violent part of being Yandere.

I love how I just barely found this thread. Rand has not encountered the True Power yet...but he's surely heard or read about legends of the True Power and its devastating affects. At the very least he could think Neku can use saidin and as a consequence feel a bond with the kid. Also if Rand hears the term "Soul Reaper" he might think its some kind of shadowspawn, seeing as the Dark One is the "Lord of the Grave" and would totally join in on an attack against poor Nyeseth. I think I just worked out Rand's role in the remainder of this thread in one post. Yay me!

Proposing an official fight between Neku and Nyeseth. If Nyeseth is alright with Rand engaging in combat as well, then he can join.
