The mohawked Koopa had recently exited out of the portal only to trip over a rock with a small yelp sounding before hitting on the ground while tumbling into a good distance within the dense green forest. Fortunately, he had landed by sliding on his shell-cage but his tiny pupils were spinning around as stars floated around him for a few moments.
That was embarrassing, especially for a little guy like him to be in such a form.
It was some time before he recovered as he closed his eyes and shook his head, eventually returning to reality, and pushed his arms against the ground to put himself up in a double handstand before he pushed off and eventually landed on his feet, soon to dust with his hands.
He should really look out for his surroundings next time and not be so darn distracted.
In the ambience of the forest, he took his time to get to know a bit of the surroundings; yep, Iggy would definitely be here no doubt, but where would he be? Last Lemmy remembers is that the young twin was mostly green, which meant he could easily camouflage himself with the area. That would make it tricky for people to track him down, but count on the fact that Iggy had glasses and the pineapple shape that he was called as.
Within that moment, he could almost imagine Iggy being with him, but now, he's alone.
Before he could continue, he felt a suddenly shaking and reached into hammerspace, only to find a device. At first, he wasn't sure on how he got it or even remember because he was so oblivious at the time, but it was something he was getting used to. Alternatively, it was a means of communication somehow to prevent him from being lonely.
He took his time to check messages and sadly, nothing new; in fact, he even bypassed the news itself because he was more concerned on personal means.
The small Koopa sighed as he lowered his head at the screen before he looked up to the skies above before putting it away in defeat.
Maybe nobody would want to be his friend..
Plague of memories of how he was a disgrace to the Koopa family and other things echoed all around his childlike mind. They were growing louder and louder before he rose his arms and placed the both of them on the sides of his head as he squatted down, close towards the ground for several moments, trembling in silence, closing his eyes.
As a countermeasure, he thought more and more about Iggy's positive words to him and only stay there completely still..
It took him sometime before he shook his head and returned to his normal position. That's what they would want him to think, well according to him, but he didn't give up so easily and if he managed to either find Iggy, a new friend or even both for that matter, it would take off the stress that he had been feeling as of late.
Step by step, as they say, step by step.
After a bit, he started his trek through the forest and carefully as well. The forest could be a dangerous place for a Koopa and he's not going to end up caught off guard and attack or worst..well, just as long as it's not night time. It's much worst at nighttime and he could feel himself shudder at the thought of it as that is pretty much the stuff of nightmares right there.
When all of this is over, all he wants is some nice icecream to drive his fears and insecurities all away.
..maybe a icecream sundae with multitudes of delicious flavors would do him some good.
Like an entitled little child, he felt like he deserved it after all this trouble. The walking was the most tiring part of this entire thing and he wanted rest; it's not like he's in the frozen tundra and he could just slip and slide his way around to the next town or something, nope, this was the forest.
A rather large and intimidating forest but a forest nonetheless.
