IC Store

Could an in character store for weapons and moves be created for the site,  with a list of pre-approved moves that could be purchased there?

I know that's it's been brought up before but so far I don't think there's a plan for it (at least to my admittedly limited knowledge). I can't really give a definite response as something like that would be something Omni himself would have to rule on and put together. Just replying here to so that you don't think you're being ignored.

The problem with there being an official 'store' for moves and weapons is that they're made with OM; like with how a Prime creates a secondary, a Prime can mold the OM into whatever (provided they have the necessary OM and/or power) piece of matter they please.

If you really want to IC buy things at a store, you're always welcome to do so in your role-plays. Just make sure that you get the move/weapon approved in the necessary approval thread before writing it into your adventures

People are more than welcome to have anything they buy (Moves, Powers, Whatnot) be something they bought/found/stole from a place of their choice, which is something I've done with 90% of my purchases.

What I mean was someone takes all the previously approved moves, and makes an area IC where character specific variants of them could be bought without the need to go through move approval for moves that have already been accepted. If such a thing would work.

Yeah, Adrien is talking more like a 'weapon rack' thread of ready-to-buy moves to avoid waiting for move approvals, not just an IC justification for weapons.

Here's the link to when I last heard of it. Omni seemed to have indicated there that it would be doable but I've heard nothing on it since. Soooo...

Someone's free to do it, but I'm not working on it at the moment. I'm not stopping anyone from doing it.

Would you all mind if I started to do it?

Trixie's concept was to do it on a wiki so you could categorize things and have a search feature. If this moves forward, I think that's the best bet, even if it requires a little more work.

I'd get in touch with him, because I think he did set it up. He might be able to give you the link and whatnot.

I'll drop him a line tomorrow morning as well.
