HOW TO MAKE PURCHASES AND DEDUCTIONS! READ BEFORE POSTING!

Purchasing

To purchase things, use the following format:

Current post count: (your current post count, viewable below your avatar)
Current Earned OM: (your current Earned OM, viewable next to your posts)
Current Spent OM: (total, viewable on your roster)
Buying: (whatever it is you want to buy. If purchasing a move you MUST link to the approval). Cost: (the cost) OM
New Spent OM in category: (your new total spent on Moves, Powers or whatever it was you bought)
New Overall Spent OM: (your total Spent OM after the purchase)

As long as you've made this post, you may now add the purchased item to your roster. You do not need an approval unless you are purchasing a Move, Summon, or Transformation. Don't forget to update your Spent OM, both for the particular category (or categories) the item you are buying is in, and the total. Staff members will only post in logs if administration is necessary, such as when a mistake has been made. Remember that all OM additions and deductions are permanently logged. We trust members not to abuse the self-updates system. If we think a member has been abusing the system, we will ban them. You have been warned!

If there's no topic in the Purchases forum with your name on it yet, ask a staffer to make one for you.

Removing

You may sell back purchases in return for half of the OM you paid for them. To do so, use this form:

Current post count:
Current Earned OM:
Current Spent OM:
Removing (whatever it is you want to remove). Cost: (the original cost) OM
New Spent OM in category: (your new total spent on Moves, Powers or whatever it was you removed. you may remove HALF of the original cost)
New Spent OM: (your new overall Spent OM. You may remove HALF of the original cost)

If you used an item in a fight, just use this:

Current post count:
Removing item: (name of item)
Link to post: (link to the post where you used the item in question)

Other updates

For OM transfers, both parties must post in their logs accounting for the exchange.

The person giving away OM:
Consumed OM (OM): +X (Transfer to [Prime])

--Make sure to adjust your 'Spent OM' as well.

The person receiving OM:
"Received OM from [Prime],
Total Earned OM (OM):  Old OM + X = New OM

A link to staff-member approval for the transfer must be included as well.

For something that requires staff assistance, such as a character change or fixing a mistake, use the Help Desk forum.

All moves must be approved here before purchase.

Guys, if you make a mistake on your log, just reply with the correction. A log is your duty, the only time a staffer needs to step in is when you switch characters, you get an OM reward, or you don't fix your mistakes.
