Nahar'de
#1
Character name: Nahar'de.

Character source: Original.

Character history: Nahar'de hails from a world in constant chaos and continuous conflict. A world ripe with magic, and users vying for a chance to seize control of it. Divided into factions by race, Nahar'de belongs to the one consisting of a species of massive flying monstrosities. Scaled creatures, uplifted to glory by the world's innate magic. For eons, they hid among the lesser races, employing advanced spells to take their form, bidding their time. When they rose, they ruled the skies and earth alike, forcing the other factions into submission.

Their thirst for power grew stronger, and to their dismay, they could find no more in their world. They started to take from each other, causing a rift in their faction, and untold devastation on anything caught in the cross-fire. Nahar'de, one of the younger brood, started experimenting with utilizing his very essence for his magic, in a desperate attempt to rein in his warmongering kin.

In a twist of fates, Nahar'de stumbled upon the very power that the rest desired, and it proved far too volatile to tamper with. The forces tore through him, and the last vision that passed his eyes was one of absolute destruction.

Nahar'de awakes in the Omniverse, finding himself imprisoned in a lesser form resembling a mortal.

Physical Description: Nahar'de's lessened state of being renders him quite human. The major giveaway of his former stature is his onyx skin, and dimmed verdant eyes, which for a mortal appears more like a birth defect than anything else.

He stands just shy of 180 cm, boasting no significance to speak of. The 'man' is lean with long coarse black hair reaching down to his back. Not used to much clothing, the former scaled creature prefers to wear light robes that leaves the most of his arms bare, and slippers. They're brown, plain and comfortable.

Stats:
ATK: 4
DEF: 1
SPD: 3
TEC: 2

Starting Proficiencies:
Physical Strength.

Starting Powers:
Advanced Regeneration.

Starting Moves:
Hot Blooded: Despite his current appearance, the blood of his true lineage flows within Nahar'de. His normal blood temperature is above boiling temperature, sputtering and scalding should it exit him. Being used to these kinds of internal temperatures naturally means that Nahar'de does not become uneasy around hotter temperatures, and can eat a mean spicy dish without too much hassle. In contrast, he is not much for colder climates.

Heritage: Whenever Nahar'de requires force that exceeds a human's limits, he invokes a remnant of his former glory around the concerned limb to aid in the endeavour. It appears as a transparent silhouette of his past form, so for instance, when he strikes his opponent, his fists become enveloped by a large clawed appendage.

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Where did you find us? This time, I found you guys through Trixie.

Side-note for my abilities, I mostly consider them flavor. Hot Blooded could technically be an extraordinary attack (I imagine getting hit in the face with boiling blood sucks, and can cause a steel blade to brittle if exposed for a while).

Heritage is supposed to be Nahar'de's way of actually fighting while being 'human', and it is supposed to replace him using his actual limbs for combat, so it's supposed to scale with his attack and count as standard punching, kicking, etc.

For the sake of clarity, I used to be a member on Chubbs and presumably still have a lot on you on my Steam or otherwise. I used to play... Tyr, Leo, something else latter? I never managed to get deep into the RPG itself, before everything kind of spun out of control - so if I seem familiar, that's why. I'm Danish if that refreshes your memory some.

This all looks good. Heritage is fine if it's just a flashy way of throwing normal punches. You'd only need to pay for it if you wanted to make them deal more damage than your stats dictate.

Hot Blooded is also fine, so long as you're aware that without a move you won't be dissolving any non-incidental weapons with your blood or dealing anything more than a near-negligible ouchie to opponents. You can always buy a move to do stuff with your blood later, of course.
