Optimus Prime (Re-joining as Alt)

Character source: Transformers

Character history: Optimus Prime was the leader of an army of sentient robots on the planet Cybertron. This army was called the Autobots, who were constantly at war with the army of the Decepticons. He belongs to an ancient class of Cybertronians called the Dynasty of Primes, but he is more or less the only one left. Given his unique status as a Prime and a leader of the Autobots, he bears an artifact called the Matrix of Leadership, an essential ingredient to creating life in nonsentient beings.

He was first known as Orion Pax, a simple dock-worker who wasn't particularly good at combat. However, as the civil war against the Decepticons started brewing, Orion was discovered to be a descendant of the Primes. So he was infused with the Matrix of Leadership, granting him combat skills, transformations and overall turning him into robot Captain America. This is sort of a modern take on the Generation 1 storyline.

The Autobots were losing the civil war against the Decepticons, forcing Optimus to evacuate his troops to one of Cybertron's moons. Megatron's forces shot down Optimus' ship, which entered lightspeed in its damaged state. It is unknown where the ship crashed after it exited hyperspace (hint: it's Earth) but one thing was for sure: Optimus Prime had disappeared, because a childish god with a blank face found him entertaining.

Optimus' left hand transforms into a cannon. It can shoot concussive blasts that fires 60 RPM, which travels 15 feet before dissipating. It can hit hard, but unfortunately, the shots move slowly and the cannon is difficult to aim.

Ion Blaster (300) - Ranged Proficiency, Shapeshifting
Optimus's right hand can transform into a pistol that fires energy shots at 180 RPM. It does significantly less damage than the Plasma Cannon, but fires faster, farther, and more accurately.

Alternate Form: 1992 Peterbilt 379 Truck (2000)

Alright, so I was thinking and I just want to clarify a few things. Firstly, what is the size of your alt from? I ask this because your Optimus is smaller than the standard version so for the sake of those that would be writing with you, it’s a good idea to specify. You can certainly make it as big as a standard truck if you’d like or bigger/smaller (because Omniphysics). Also, I’m assuming that aside from the weapons, it’s exactly like a normal truck?

Also, a couple of questions about your moves. I know they had been approved as-is in the past, but lately we’ve been trying to be a bit more precise with move wording and whatnot.

For Plasma Cannon:

• How much concentration does this take? Can it be used with other moves?

No, no, it's fine! The truck, I guess, is the same size as most trucks, and yes, besides the kick-ass paintjob and the occasional cannon (which sorta "transforms" out of the side) it's pretty much just a truck. It can go a top speed of 80 mph. 

In terms of moves:

[LH] Plasma Cannon (300) - Ranged Proficiency, Shapeshifting
Optimus' left hand transforms into a cannon. It can shoot concussive blasts that fires 60 RPM, which travels 15 feet before dissipating. It can hit hard, but unfortunately, the shots move at only 28 mph and the cannon is difficult to aim. Furthermore, firing more than 4 shots in a row can exhaust Optimus and he will need to reload. Firing the cannon requires minimal energy, but firing it accurately requires focus.

[RH] Ion Blaster (300) - Ranged Proficiency, Shapeshifting
Optimus's right hand can transform into a pistol that fires energy shots at 180 RPM. It does significantly less damage than the Plasma Cannon, but the shots are faster (186 mph), farther (25 feet), and more accurately. It has a clip of 24 shots and must be reloaded. Like the cannon, Optimus can spray this like Febreze, but to aim accurately he needs to focus.

And basically, he can dual wield them, but like real-life dual weapons, they take away a bit from his aiming capacity. So yes, as long as only one RH or LH move is used, it's okay. Later I plan on adding more weapons (like his RH Energon Axe) that restricts one weapon per hand.

Sounds excellent. I do have to mention that your SPD stat isn't quite high enough to reach 80 MPH in combat though. I'd have no problem with using that speed out of combat though, making it you 'mount/vehicle'. Just wanna clarify that.

Also, what are the sizes of the projectiles for both?

Do you mean in truck mode? Cause my SPD is 4 in truck mode.

The shots are the size of human assault rifle bullets. Like the cannon, Optimus can spray this like Febreze, but to aim accurately he needs to focus.

And yes, the truck mode. To hit 80 MPH you'd need around 5 SPD, as that's described as 'faster than any known animal', the fastest animal (Cheetah) going around 70-75 MPH. With 4 SPD you'd probably be able to hit 50-60 MPH, since 3 SPD puts you at 'faster than Usain Bolt' who tops out at around 30.
