I was wondering - What kind of attacks have you always loved in Anime history? We watch anime for the feels and the fights, but there's always those amazing moves and power up we die for!
To be truthful, Im not a big Naturo fan but one of my favorite all time attacks is Lee's Hidden Lotus.
I haven't watched One Piece in forever but god I love Gum Gum Jet Gatling.(That's what it's called right?)
Lastly, is Velvet Scarlatina's weapon Light Copies. She takes pictures of weapons and of their users using them and instantly learns they're skills and can use their weapons. Fucking cool.

There are many, many things that I consider amazing and epic. But currently my favorite would be Hajrudin's Gungnir, from One Piece. The execution of it fucking gives me goosebumps. :froggonk:

Vegeta's Final Flash against Cell was friggin amazing. And the transformation sequences from Kill la Kill also. And this one doesn't really count as a move, but the Thunder of Laputa.

Instantaneous Movement technique (instant transmission)
Don't let the dub fool you, this is literally instant movement. not "faster than or as", but literally instant.
Plus the distance is only limited by how far away you can still notice energy sources.

In all seriousness, I also think Vegeta's Final Flash is pretty badass, as is Trunks' Finish Buster. Vegito's Stardust Breaker is p cool too.
Personally, I liked Kakashi's Lightning Blade and Kamui moves as well. All time favorite naruto character, really.
I really like Sanji's flair with his kick moves in general.
Death the Kid's Death Cannon is p awesome imo (super edgy i know)
A lot of badass moves in my opinion dont even have names, theyre just really badass scenes - Anything in Samurai Champloo or Space Dandy for example

Just to toss some more of my favorites on out there, 'cause they're good stuff:
-- One Piece: Aokiji's Ice Age. Specifically the first use of it, where he freezes an entire fucking miles long stretch of ocean connecting two islands. It's absurd and delightful.
-- One Piece: Whitebeard's Shima Yurashi. He used it to tilt an entire fucking island. Actually, hell, fuck it, anything Whitebeard does; a lot of his attacks and moves don't even have official names. Special credit goes to the 'combo' he unleashes in Whitebeard's Silent Rage. I get shivers every fucking time.
-- Hokuto no Ken: Kenshiro's Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken. It's nearly a meme at this point, but it's still a beautiful, beautiful thing.
-- Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Yoshikage Kira's Bites the Dust. Time loops, explosions, the villain almost actually winning? Yes, please, I want more.
-- One Punch Man: Saitama's Serious Series: Serious Strike. It's just a punch, but seeing such a laid-back dude actually get serious and the execution and spectacle of it is what gets me.
-- The Big O: The Big O's Chrome Buster and Sudden Impact. I couldn't decide between them. They're both fairly simple, but they both get the job done and are pretty slick.
-- Soul Eater: Lord Death's (serious) Shinigami Chop. The joke version of it is hilarious and pretty cool in its own right, but seeing what such an until then silly little gimmick can do when the big man gets serious is...frankly, kind of awe-inspiring.
-- G-Gundam: Domon Kasshu & Rain (via the Burning Gundam)'s Erupting Burning Finger: Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken. They summon the fucking Burger King to lay down the fucksmack on some uppity giant zombie robot shithead via the power of interpretive dance and anime love-powers. (I know, I know, it's actually the King of Hearts, shaddup) What's not to like?
-- As has been mentioned a couple times, Vegeta's Final Flash. Cell and Gohan's Kamehameha struggle is pretty bitchin'. Every time Goku uses the Spirit Bomb, to varying degrees.
-- Tengen Toppa Gurre Lagann: Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's Super Tengen Toppa Giga Drill Breaker. And, of course, the resulting use of the Anti-Spiral's Anti-Spiral Giga Drill Breaker. The Ham to Ham combat of that entire scene is beautiful, and probably what makes the moves so amazing. Special mention must be given to the first usage of the technique, though, and Kamina's version of the Giga Drill Breaker and Simon's subsequent first usage of it are equally beautiful. And emotional.
If you see me around and you got questions, just give a shout. I'm happy to assist.

Salt Splash - Reigen's special move, a tempest of salt!
Curse Crush - Reigen's special move, which relieves the body from stress, and eliminates any stiff shoulders and back pains.
And my personal favorite
Hypnosis Punch - Randomly punching his opponent out of the blue, Reigen's secret technique.

Hunter x Hunter. The moves from this anime are brilliant, and give inspiration for any number of interestingly-balanced moves.
Jeff will tell you, and I will confirm, that Knuckle Bine's Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is the most OP shit in any anime. He punches you, but instead of it hurting, he gives you energy. Or rather, he lends it to you. The quantified amount of energy/aura then comes up on a little cutesy floating motherfucker with some numbers on his chest. You punch it, it does nothing. "It's time," the cutesy thing says 10 seconds after appearing. "Adding interest."
Until the loaned aura is paid back, your attacks don't do damage - they only give back aura and pay off that amount (stronger attacks give back more). Knuckle's attacks, too, just add aura to the amount on the counter.
If the amount of aura on the counter reaches your maximum aura ... bam. You go bankrupt and can't use aura (ki) for a month. You lose.
It's so fucking bullshit and stupid, but it's also brilliantly clever.
Another brilliant one is the bomber. Did I mention, characters in the show can give restrictive conditions to their attacks in order to power them up, just like we do here? The bomber has several conditions on his. In order to place a bomb on someone, he has to touch them and say the word "bomber". Being a prick and pretending not to be the bomber, he does this on basically everyone he's allied with, saying "Beware of the bomber," etc.
The cooler part is that, in order to arm the bombs, he has to explain everything about how his ability works to the person(s) affected. The moment he finishes explaining, the countdown starts.
Naturally, it's a pretty killer ability.
Last is the protagonist, Gon's ability, Jajanken. The ability's name actually comes because Knuckle (see above) asks him what it's called, and he just stutters out "Ja ... janken." Knuckle misinterprets this as a clever play on "Jajan!" (Tadah!) and Janken (rock paper scissors, which is what the ability is based on).
It's cool because it's simple, perfectly suiting its user, but also hella versatile. Like all epic attacks it takes a huge amount of energy and chargeup time. But then Gon can release it in three different ways - as a melee attack, Rock (the most powerful version, and the most often used) but also as a ranged attack, Paper (holding his palm out and firing the energy) and as a cutting attack, Scissors. I just like how it allows for mid-battle twists and being so simple, yet clever.
But honestly ... you just have to see it in action to see why it comes across as epic.
Go watch Hunter x Hunter, kids.
One Piece
Luffy's Gomu Gomu Gatling. Come the fuck on. It's so badass, I stole it and continually reference it with Samus's Gatling Beam.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is so OP. As a Super Move here:
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy; Tier 1/2/3 Super Utility (Debuff, Buff, Physical Strength)
Knuckle attacks his foe with a devastating right hook. Strangely, it doesn't seem to hurt at all. Instead, it seems to GIVE his opponent energy. Increase Opponent's SP by the SP used to power the Super Attack. However, a little creature pops up near the target, the counter on its head reading "1". Every post after the post Knuckle uses this in, the counter on the creature increases by 1. If that number ever equals the opponents total SP, they lose the ability to use SP for the rest of the fight and Knuckle regains the SP he loaned them, plus the "interest". Knuckle can use this attack multiple times in a battle, each one increasing the counter (and the target's SP pool) by the amount of SP used to power the Super Attack. Until the SP is paid back, all the opponent's SP (including what he's loaned them) can ONLY be used to power Super Attacks against Knuckles; successful Super Attacks reduce the counter by the amount of SP used to fuel the attack, but deal no damage to Knuckle until the Counter has been emptied. The same goes for Knuckle's Super Attacks, they deal no damage and merely increase the amount of SP loaned to the target.
Look about right, Greg?

XD Still OP, IMO. Obviously amazing, but TOO amazing.
I dunno. I'd have to think about it. Definitely would be a Tier 2 though, if not 3 (and that would still just give 1 SP to start).

100% personal bias, I know. Ed's Spears are hilariously bad at not breaking. But in terms of moves that always made me ready for some action, I'd be lying if I said this wasn't one of them.
If history is to become legend, it first must be recorded.

My favorite Anime Move would be the Final Flash or Makankosappo/Special Beam Cannon.
