"Stand down, Revan!" They had used to be friends, best friends if truth be told. Yet she didn't understand why Revan had to do this, to overthrow the stagnant government. Bastilla hadn't seen what she had seen, felt the pain and agony that she had. So the choice was very simple to Revan, let Bastilla kill her and let everything she had slaved over keel over and die, or fight for what she believed in.
Revan turned her heavy black cape, the flawless fabric like a wave of darkness, concealing her masked face for the slightest of moments. She had taken this mask for a reason, as a symbol to those that followed her. To show them that Justice would be served. Justice had chosen Revan as its weapon, and oh what a weapon they had chosen. Revan didn't say a word to her old comrade, only ignited her blood-red saber, the luminescence reflecting off the red metal of the Mandalorian mask she wore. She settled into her battle stance, her right arm holding the blade off to the side, giving the illusion that she was relaxed though every muscle in her body was tightly coiled and ready to leap into action. Deception was a Sith's tool, not to be underestimated or taken lightly.
But she was not Sith. That's another thing they did not understand, she did not feed her powers solely from the dark side of the force. It was simply a piece of a larger whole. The Force was one entity, and she believed that only indulging in one side was neglecting the full knowledge and power that the Force sought to bestow upon those who were ready. They were fools not to see the truth; only when you embraced both the light and the dark could you see the truth.
The Bridge erupted in fire and smoke, consuming Revan. The Sith Lord could feel the heat of the fire that blazed in all corners of the room, dead bodies strewn all over, and not all of them in one piece. She had to choke back a painful sob as she lay, broke, on the cold metal floor of her flagship. These were faithful men, who believed in her and their cause. They had blindly given her their allegiance and respect. Now... What had she led them to?
She saw the shape of her friend loom over her face, saying something to Revan, but all she heard was a ringing in her ears. And the labored beats of her weak heart eventually slowed, and everything went dark.

Revan felt her vision slowly return to her, as did the functions of the rest of her body. But with it came pain; agonizingly brutal pain. It ripped through every part of her, before coming to pulse in her heart, then the organ would force the pain back into the rest of her being. She heard a voice, and she tried to yell for help, but when she opened her mouth, no sound manifested itself.
Revan tried to move, and her body was restricted. Her pain suddenly vanished and a man stood before her, he had no features, save for the wide smile that stretched across his blank face. He held his hands out to her, cupping a small orb in his hand, it shone with an inner light, and Revan could feel the Force surround it like a hurricane.
The small orb floated just off of the man's hands and came to rest in front of her, pulsating slightly in time with her heartbeat. With every pulse, she could feel herself slipping back into darkness, but somehow that didn't bother her anymore. Her eyes struggled to find the Smiling Man's face again, just as he began to speak.
Revan smiled and succumbed to the darkness inside of her, just as the light of the Orb began to seep into her body. A small contented sigh escaped her mouth as she fell into slumber...
