Steven Universe? A forgettable mess? HA! ...A-and, no, it really isn't. The only really crippling about it is it's fanbase in my opinion. That, and it has a slow start, but if you stick with it you will likely find something you enjoy from it.

Don't know much about Clarence, it's not too bad though by what I've seen.

Really, what you should do is not ask us for recommendations, but rather get your own opinion first. Sometimes other people can completely warp your opinion before you even view something, ultimately changing your experience. *cough* Undertale *cough*. I'd recommend seeing for yourself and coming back.
