Character name: Earthworm Jim

Character source: Earthworm Jim - mixture of game/TV series continuity. It will mostly draw on the TV show but contain elements from the games as well (in all honesty, there's not really much of a 'continuity').

Character history: Earthworm Jim was once just an earthworm ... until a super suit from outer space landed on top of him, mutating him into a four-hyper-intelligent-brained (his words) annelid with eyes and a mouth. Ever since, he has battled against the forces of evil, becoming a self styled hero to the world, using his super suit's powers to defeat evil wherever he finds it.

After the events of the game and the TV show, Jim is resting on the porch of his house when he is mysteriously stolen away ...

Plasma Blaster [Ranged] (300)
Jim's suit has a red plasma blaster that looks much like a red ray gun. The blaster fires small pellets of plasma at a high velocity. The bullets are fired similarly to a SMG. This has a similar range to a standard pistol with about a two second charge to begin firing. If fired for too long (10 seconds continuously), the blaster will run out of ammo and will need to recharge for another 10 seconds.

Worm Whip [Physical, Hive Mind] (600)
Jim grabs the top of his floppy head, pulls his body out and flicks his entire body like a whip, reaching an impressive 6 feet. He can use this to attack targets or grab hold of objects with his 'tail,' which also includes being able to use himself as a 'grappling hook' of sorts. This takes him about two seconds to complete the entire action.

Super Moves: (5.9k) Mega Plasma Blast (600) - Jim charges his plasma blaster to its highest setting, taking about three seconds, and fires a powerful stream of plasma energy at his foe.

Jim has found a way to turn up the atomic output of his suit into overdrive, which greatly increases his strength and defense while making him slightly faster. The output can only last so long (SP).

It was about time we got a character from a platformer. Now we just need someone to join as Jazz Jackrabbit. Tongue :lol:

Anyway, solid application, but the moves still need a bit of work:

1) You're going to have to be more specific regarding the Plasma Blaster. What is its effective/maximum range? What is its rate of fire? Does it have a limited amount of ammo or does it have a cooldown?

2) Being able to grab hold of objects would count as an additional function, so the move would cost 600. Furthermore, you'll have to provide the whips' length and how quickly can Jim attack with it.

3) You'll need to provide the range of the Rocket Fists as well.

4) It would be good to know how long it takes for Jim to charge up his Mega Plasma Blast.

Cheers DL. I removed Rocket Fists and added the extra 300 into Worm Whip. Updated everything else you mentioned.

Ok, most of those edits are good. But while I don't wish to be pedantic, I'm going to need a specific range for the Plasma Blaster. For reference, the effective range of a real life pistol would be around 30 meters (32 yards). So I guess you could make the Plasma Blaster have a 30m (32 y.) effective range/50m (54 y.) maximum range?
