What do you think of Paper Mario Color Splash

Are you excited for it or do you think the concept needs to be changed? Personally, I'm part of the former group. Also, I like Sticker Star.

Considering that Sticker Star was a generally boring game for me, I wish they would make the gameplay more akin to the original Paper Mario or its sequel TTYD, BUT add the color splash concept on top of that. That way, the fans in general are happier, Nintendo keeps their innovation, and gameplay is generally more entertaining as you feel YOU are improving at the game, not your stickers.

However, if they must keep the sticker star-esque gameplay, they need to at least make the stickers a valuable tool to make tough battles easier rather than a crutch against ridiculous bosses and a necessity for Mario to even do what he naturally does in other games (even other Paper Mario ones) without them. I am cool with innovation and all, but they've changed the CORE GAMEPLAY TWICE across only four games! They should really start making less substantial changes to the "formula" by now.

I agree too. I own Superstar Saga and even though I like both Sticker Star and the aforementioned game, there's something about Saga which makes it better in my eyes.
