"Home?" Eon's words escaped his mouth without a thought. As he took in the terrain the slight excitement he had felt for a moment began to diminish. This was not Gunsmoke... this was not his home. Just a dried up barren wasteland, no doubt the sandbox of Omni's play-sets. Eon felt frustration starting to swell up inside him. What a cruel joke, right? There were eight gates, he picked the direction opposite of the White Soldiers, he didn't even realize he was heading towards one of the gates until an hour or so into his wandering. Eight gateways, a 12.5% chance of choosing this one at random. The fact that this type of environment even existed, was only by the decision of the one that created this world... Omni. Why this one? Why rub salt on a wound...
"Ha ha ha ha.... Ha HA! HA! HA! HA! HAAAA!" Eon broke into laughter. "What are the Odds!? How did I pick this verse first? This is too much of a coincidence." He felt the frustration fade and his body relax, "There is reason behind this, I understand how this world works. You said it yourself Omni, this Omnillium, this energy you created and felt so inclined to name after yourself. It is what ties everything together, it is what everything consists of, and it is the reason we ARE!" A smile ran across his face, looking up to the sky and the Sun that shown so bright, he placed his hand over his eyes, "My being is made of the same essence this place is made of, I wanted to see my home, I never said it out loud nor did I dwell on the thought of it. Deep down though I wanted to see my home world again. This energy you created drew me to this place, it knew that this would give me that feeling of being home. This feeling is the same I got when I found my brethren. This Omnillium you created, it truly is a masterpiece." Eon fell to his back and let the sensation of 'home' sink in, although it may not be his true home, it was a calming moment. A short lived moment...
"Omnillium you say!!" A voice cried out in a mocking tone interrupting Eon's bliss. "Hey boys! We got ourselves a fresh one!" Eon opened his eyes to see five, less than savory looking, individuals standing around him, slowly closing in.
Now these guys remind me of home in a whole different kind of way.
"Gawsh! How can ya tell Pete??" A lanky figure in a straw brimmed hat leaned over sniffing the air.
It hasn't even been a half a day being here and I'm about to get jumped 100ft from the door I just walked through.
"Just look at them there cloths Ray! They ain't seen a lick of wear and tear. He must have ourselves a Premature Prime! Easy pickins." The man named Pete was a burlier man, rugged face, wearing a vest and some type of armored pants and boots. His ensemble, most likely, pieced together by stealing it from others these men had ambushed.
You have no idea who these guys are, their status in this place. They're clearly not the most intelligent but what if ones the "son of the guy" or something. Don't cause trouble, do like the Doctor always told you. First try kindness.
Eon sat up and addressed the men, "Hello! Nice to meet you, Pete was it? and you're Ray? I didn't catch the other three's names. You call me a 'Premature Prime', what is that?" Laughter erupted from the five men, snorting and coughing filling the area. A third man wore a hooded poncho and had to weight at least 300 lbs. The fourth was a short man with a mustache, wearing green helmet of some sort. The last must have been the biggest, in terms of physique, with massive masculine arms.
"You gotta be kiddin' me! You just popped!? We are the first people you have encountered, didn't even bother to talk to nobody in the Nexus? You a Prime, that's what you are knucklehead *Laughs* What awful luck to end up walking through the Gateway to The Endless Dunes." Pete slung his odd gun over his shoulder, as he did Eon noticed the weapon was identical to the ones carried by the White Soldiers...
"Dunes, Nexus, I am a Prime. So you're Primes too? Brought here by Omni." Eon took in the situation, five men armed with guns... no only three had guns, the other two had blades of some kind. Strange... "Shouldn't we be friends?" The laughter exploded even louder than before.
"Stop! *Laughing* you bout made me mess my pants! *Laughing fades* You really gonna owe me for this school teachin I'm given you blondie. We ain't no Primes, we called Seconds. We're here cuz another Prime like you brought us here." They were within about ten yards of Eon now. One began to tremble for some reason.
"Boss... that hair and eyes... ain't that... ain't that the 'King of the Dunes'?" Eon's brow raised, all the men stopped their advancement after this comment. Pete looked at his boys and rubbed his hand over his face. He thoroughly scanned Eon up and down, stopping to fixate on the two revolvers.
They think I'm someone else? I mean, they may not be the sharpest tools in the box but hadn't they just deduced that he was freshly plucked from his world into this one? And who was this 'King of the Dunes' he resembled that brought so much fear in them?
"Look you numbnutt!", Pete pointed, "He carrying guns! Gilgamesh ain't never carried no gun! And that's the 'False King' you're talking about, and I heard he got banished! Not to mention this guy don't know his Oververse from his Pale Moors" The others murmured to each other in disbelief for a moment then relaxed and reverted their attention back to Eon.
"I appreciate you all of your help. If their is anything I can do to repay you all..." Eon looked at the men, eyes gleaning, ready and twitching to pull their weapons on him.
"Ya there is... You could let us eat you alive"

Eon winced at the remark, "Eat me? Did you say you want to eat me alive?"
Pete inched forward, his jaw dropped and starting to salivate, "That's right... the moment you walked your fresh self through that gate into the Dunes, the dinner bell was going off." His hand reached towards his weapon.
Five on one, this isn't good. In my world this wouldn't be a problem but here I'm not sure what these guys are. They said they were Seconds, thought I'm not sure if that means they're different than Primes. Even if I were to defeat them, couldn't they just come back? Then they'd be after me all over again, this time for revenge. Fighting is pointless at that point, then again these guys want to eat me, why?
Eon watched as the men started to become anxious, "Couldn't you just use Omnillium to make a meal? Anything you want, or I'm sure their is a town near here with some sort of food. I buy!" He smiled and raised his hands in a surrender position. The men seem to get a little angry at his retort.
"Stupid son of a... Seconds ain't got the ability to use Omnillium. Just you Primes, I honestly can't stand your kind. Walk around showing off yer Immortality! While the rest of us are summoned by ya'll to lick yer boots." Pete placed his hand on the grip of his weapon.
Ray spoke up, "I got summoned by the Emperor just to build crapholes for you Primes! If it weren't for the Baron, I'd still be stuck in that hell hole."
So, Seconds can be summoned by Primes. I'm a Prime. They can't use Omnillium as a Prime can. So this is the separation in this world.
"Who's this Baron you speak of? Make him out to be your savoir, is he a Prime or a Second? And how do you believe eating me will do you any good?" Eon lowered his arms, he knew that there was to be no reasoning down with these men. They wanted to kill him, worse eat him. He knew that he would reincarnate if he were killed but didn't dare think of allowing them to succeed. Pete, Ray and the short man had what seemed to be guns although what type of guns was unknown. They could be flamethrowers for all Eon knew. He'd have to take them out first, while the two larger men he could dispatch of much quicker seeing as all they had were large swords. Pete and Ray stood in front of him, the short one directly behind him and the big boys to the right and left of him. The gateway was a little ways behind him while the rest of the environment provided little cover otherwise, a few large rocks.
Pete let a grin form, "Eating you will do us plenty good. In fact it was the Baron that explained how we could become stronger by devouring Primes." Eon's eyes widened then refocused, "That's right... Baron Deathchew has given us Seconds a way to finally crawl out from yer shadow... I hate Primes. It don't matter if the Baron were a Prime or a Second, he is going to rule these lands and spread his rule all over the Omniverse. All we got to do to help him is kill and eat you and we'll grow stronger. Just like the Baron promised!"
Pete raised his weapon taking aim, as Eon lunged forward towards Ray who was slightly slower on the draw. Eon drew his black revolver and before Ray could even grab hold of his gun, Eon had the end of his barrel under his chin, "Don't." was all that Eon could get out before a lunatic grin came across Ray's face and he grabbed his weapon. Eon pulled the trigger, relieving Ray of what little brains he had to begin with.
"RAYYYY!" Pete yelled and fired, Eon spun around Ray's standing corpse as a red beam of energy hit it, blowing off Ray's arm. The shot grazed Eon's left shoulder.
Was that a laser!? Son of a... ugh... it burns. Only a graze, I didn't expect a condensed laser rifle. That technology doesn't even seem possible.
Eon spun around placing the bottom of his boot to Ray's back and with all his strength kicked, the lifeless, body at Pete knocking him to the ground. The short one began drawing his gun, a revolver. That's much more familiar, Eon thought. The man had a scared look on his face, which he should. Eon charged at him, causing him to fumble with his gun. Eon's first shot was to the man's arm, causing him to drop the gun, his second was to the center of his forehead. The giant of a man turned toward Eon drawing his sword, a large jagged piece of metal resembling a jawbone of some sort. Eon grabbed the smaller man's arm, as he was falling to the ground, and swung him around using momentum to throw him at the giant. The giant swung his blade, and in one clean blow, cut the body in two. Surprised, Eon fired three shots at the man through the split corpse. The giant moved his blade and all three of the shots ricocheted off the blade!
How the hell!? Are you kidding me??
Out of the corner of his eye he noticed the fat one draw two sai, and with speed comparable to his own, rush in and make two strikes with the bludgeoning ends. The first he narrowly dodged, although the second made contact with his ribs. Eon rolled and dove behind one of the only rocks large enough for cover. He could hear Pete laughing, as he stood up pushing Ray's body off top of himself.
"What's wrong Blondie!? Did you think you were gonna take all of us out in one draw!? Now... you killed Ray and Manny, and I'm gonna get you for that. They just joined up, pledged themselves to the Baron. The one with the muscles here, that's Zigfree, a brute of a man ain't he? And the plump fella there is Gulten, fast for his weight you think? These two used to be bodyguards created by two Primes, they hated their 'Masters' always being told what to do and could never disobey. Then they met each other and hatched out a plan to kill each others' Primes. Gulten was made to look like a fat slow blob, but was pretty speedy. A nice touch if I do say so myself. Zigfree on the other hand..." As Pete stopped, Eon saw a shadow come over him and without a second to lose rolled as Zigfree cut right through the rock as easy as he did Manny, "Well Zigfree is just a real strong S.o.B. and as for myself." Pete stepped forward, almost militantly, "I used to be a Lieutenant in the Empire before I got sick of working for that wrinkled old hack... Lt. PT-313, nick named me Pete for short. Awful luck you got there Blondie... great luck for us, seeing as now we only gotta split you up three ways stead of five."

Eon had to think and quickly, these three far were much tougher than he had anticipated. Never would he had thought that a sword could match a gun, let alone the existence of a laser rifle. With both of these close ranged fighters on top of him, it'd be nearly impossible to take a clear shot at Pete, who would just sit back and take aim. Zigfree stepped forward and raised his blade above his head. Eon inhaled, Relax. Deep Breath. You have to relax or you've got no chance., his thought slowed his heart from racing. Zigfree swung his blade down towards Eon, right before it hit Eon moved his legs away from it causing it to plant firmly into the ground. Gulten immediately made a quick dash at Eon, piercing point out on his sai.
Eon placed one foot on Zigfree's sword and kicked off of it as Gulten lunged at him with the sai. With his other foot, Eon hit Gulten's sai forcing it to pierce into Zigfree, who let out a moan. Rolling backward Eon pointed his revolver at the giant, out of the corner of his eye he saw Pete had him in his sights. Eon quickly squeezed his last shot off at Pete just as Pete fired his blaster. Both shots missed their targets causing both men to stagger.
Alright, Zigfree is extremely powerful but very slow when it comes to striking. Gulten has quick strikes but do far less damage. Is this how the physics of this world work? Hard to say with only two examples. As for Pete, he seems to have to charge his shot before taking it. Slower, yet powerful. There is little to no cover, if I'm going to win this I have to risk it.
Pete began stirring to rise to his feet. Gulten removed his sai from Zigfree and used his speed to close in on Eon. Zigfree in a rage, raised his sword again above his head. I refuse to die this early on!, Eon planted his feet as Gulten thrusted his sai at him. The sai stabbed into Eon's abdomen, he then grabbed hold of Gulten's forearm holding it in place.
The pain was real, the blood coming from the wound was real, it was excruciating. Gulten's expression was pure delight, until he saw the smirk form on Eon's face, "What made you believe that you wouldn't be sacrificed for the flesh of a Prime? More power if it were only split two ways..." Gulten's eyes widened in panic. Eon raised his revolver to Gulten's forehead and began to pull back the trigger. In a haste to free himself Gulten tried to pull back but Eon's grasp was held tight causing them to spin. Zigfree had begun swinging downward, directly over Eon but as the two spun they both lined up underneath Zigfree's blade. Eon smiled as he pulled the trigger and the hammer of the revolver hit, as Eon released his grasp causing the two to separate and fall backwards, "Oops... guess I was out of bullets..." Eon managed to get off a wink and a smile as Gulten was cleaved through by Zigfree's powerful blow. His blade stuck into the ground and a mix of shock and sadness crossed his face as he cut through his friend. As he looked up, Eon drew his silver revolver, "Out of bullets wasn't completely true." One. Two. Three. Two to the chest. One to the head of the giant as Zigfree fell to his knees and onto the sand.
----------------------------------
Pete stumbled to his feet and tried to access the situation, the last shot had been too close. As he rose though, he heard three shots go off. He saw Gulten, or half of him, laying dead in the sand and Zigfree standing alone, "Gulten... Zigfree! You alright!?" He hesitated pointing his blaster, rubbing his eyes in disbelief. Where was that Prime? He watched as Zigfree fell to his knees and the Prime stood directly in front of him, revolver pointed directly at him. Before he could even squeeze off a blaster bolt the Prime shot him in his shoulder causing him to drop his blaster, "You Mother Fuc...." Pete fell backward holding his shoulder reeling in pain. The Prime walked toward him, before he knew it the Prime stood over him. One of Gulten's sai protruded from his gut and he slowly pulled it out, barely a wince of pain, "You know what your first mistake was?" The Prime crouched over him, "Not taking the first shot." The Prime fired a shot into Pete's other arm, making him scream in pain. "You know what your second mistake was?" Pete tried to speak but the Prime stuck the hot barrel of his revolver in Pete's mouth, "You thought your boy Manny was wrong... You know this place well don't you, these... Dunes." Pete nodded, tears coming from his eyes. "Then I want you to wander blind back to your Baron and tell him the False King... no... The True King of the Dunes has returned." Pete's eyes widened as the Prime smiled and slowly pushed the end of Gulten's sai into each one of his eyes...

The blind and wounded cannibal ran off, stumbling, tripping, and falling only to try and escape his torturous opponent. Eon keeled over holding his hand over his wound. He'd put on a tough act, but that was all it was. He coughed, choking up some blood. He'd won, but didn't feel like it. He didn't want to fight in the first place, let alone mutilate his opponent. Pete had left him no choice though, the threat of being eaten alive set the bar. He had to leave one alive though, and Pete seemed to be the right decision. He was the leader, he was most likely the strongest and would carry word further than any of the others. Had he just killed all of them, someone would have realized they were missing, someone would have known the gateway was their hunting spot, and someone would have found out who Eon was and eventually this Baron Deathchew would have come looking for him. He hadn't even been in the world a whole day and the idea of a fight, let alone a bulls-eye on his forehead, was not what he had wanted. That's what he had to consider before ending his fight with those five.
Hopefully the message he sent Pete with would reach the Baron. The small one named Manny had mistaken him for some 'False King' or King of the Dunes, just the utterance of his title stopped the power starving, flesh hungry cannibals in their tracks, "Gilgamesh..." Eon whispered. Pete said he heard about him getting 'banished', whatever that meant. The fact is that it was recent enough to only be a rumor. Pete won't ever be able to identify Eon on sight now, and he'll tell this Baron that the rumors of Gilgamesh being banished were a lie causing him to search for him instead. That is, as long as Pete managed to make it to the Baron or someone else in his cult like following. The message would turn to rumor and give Eon enough time to get the start he was looking for in this place. As for now he needed to figure out what to do with his wound.
I have to stop this bleeding, and get out of here before someone else stumbles upon me and four dead guys. I just want this pain to stop. Eon, holding his injury, felt a slight relief from the pain for a moment.
What was that? Am I going into shock? No... it was the Omnillium, I felt the Omnillium begin to subdue the pain. He focused on his wound, focused on making the pain stop. After about a minute, the pain lessened. It was going to take much more time an focus for him to completely heal it though. However, with some of the pain gone he was able to get himself to his feet.
I have to put some distance between myself and this spot. In the distance he could see some type of an oasis, and small town of sorts. He started to make his way toward it in a wide loop, not wanting to walk in the front doors just yet.
It was hot and the heat was not making the light headed feeling he had any better. He could have avoided Gulten's strike, but then avoiding Zigfree's would have been harder and even if he had, Pete would have just picked him off from a distance. He took much more damage than needed... or rather, as much as he needed he guessed.
What if it turns out this King of the Dunes really wasn't banished and I just pretended to be him. If the Baron finds him and starts a fight, what if they realize it was because of an impostor. Then I'm going to be running from two powerful Primes. Maybe I should have just let them eat me... just dealt with the pain and humiliation, only to be resurrected and restored again... or maybe that would have been boring to Omni, and he would have done away with me that quickly. Then I'd be free from this place, but then maybe I'd never have the ability to return to my home. I have much to find out about this world and it's inhabitant... and it's God.
He trudged along in the sand, keeping as focused on his surroundings as he could. He couldn't allow another ambush to happen. He laughed to himself... ambush... those five didn't ambush him, they walked up to him when he had let his guard down. He wouldn't let that happen again. He finally reached a point where he had a good view of the town, probably about a quarter mile out or so. He found a large rock and laid next to it, "This should due. *Ugh* Now think hard about what you want. Another rock at my feet, above my head and one on top of all four." He visualized what he wanted and slowly but surely the rocks began to form. After about fifteen minutes or so, his make shift shelter/ camouflage was made. When he was creating the rocks he noticed the rainbow spectrum of colors that protruded from himself, hoping the large rock he was behind, along with the bright rays of the sun and distance to the town would have kept any from seeing his activity. From there he placed both his hands over his wound and began to focus his use of Omnillium on healing it. It would take some time, and hopefully he could complete it without interruption. After that he'd be ready to venture into the town and see if those who resided in it were as bad as his initial hosts. Or maybe worse. Only time would tell.

Time. So much time passed. Hours, day became night. Eon was almost completely finished with the healing process. It was beginning to colder, like any desert or savanna environment and this one was no different. He would need to make his way into the little village soon and find a warm place to stay for the night. He had neither the time nor the energy to create his own shelter for the night, which he would need for a place such as this. For the hours he had been hidden in his makeshift coffin, healing, he would hear beastly noises and brutish voices.
At one point he heard, what he thought to be, a dog sniffing the rocks he hid beneath and then let out a sound that was not canine. It tried to claw at the stones with little success.... little, not none. Moved the rocks a bit, Eon was not sure he could defeat any dangerous foe while trapped in a tomb, and wounded. The beast eventually gave up on its fascination with him and left, this didn't end the beastly encounters though. This place was crawling with creatures, worst of all Eon still had no idea what any of them looked like. If he was to try and settle here, he'd have to find someone with a vast knowledge of this environment and its people. People... if he could even call those of which were his first encounter. Seconds, a sub-race of sorts in this world. Not made or summoned by Omni, but rather Primes instead. They cursed Primes, immortality and power. At least those five had, that's not to say the rest of them have the same thoughts on the subject. Though he had come across a short conversation of some passerby.
"Heard there was a big ole fire in Nippur. Damn near the whole city and all the seconds livin' in it burned. Said one man. "After all that talk of being the new Kingdom. Promising prosperity... poor bastards. Leave it to a Prime to call himself a God and then be beaten like any of the rest of us. Said another. "These are all rumors though right? Nobodies seen it in person right? Said a third. The first man responded, "I don't believe so, but news will reach us eventually. I feel sorry for the ones that got caught up in it, but in my opinion..." He paused for a minute then spat, "If a hundred seconds had to die, for one of those Primes to get banished to the Underverse for good. I'd call that a win overall. Sounds of approval were heard, and then urination...
Eon had been smelling it for hours. So far he felt like being a Prime already put a target on his back, let alone having a group of Cannibals wanting revenge, or dessert.
Looking down at his progress, he watched as the final bits of flesh sewn together and after only a few more minutes had his clothing returned to its original state as well. With a deep breath, he could feel the difference. Omnillium was impressive, even he would admit that. Now to deal with the rocks, what was once created can be undone, right? He focused and thought about removing the rocks which he'd made, slowly but surely the rocks began to disappear. More accurately, he was absorbing the Omnillium of which the rocks had been made of. After roughly the same amount of time it took to create them, the rocks had vanished. More surprisingly, so had a portion of the rock that was initially there.
So not only can a Prime break down his own creations, but it is possible to break apart anything made of Omnillium.
He slowly peered out over the landscape. The village had lights on and he could hear faint voices coming from within it. It was a good sign, because those were the only sounds he heard. The chill was becoming a bit much, it would seem he'd have to enter the village.

Eon made his way towards the village. What he would be walking into he had no clue. What if the village was filled with cannibals, or better yet the Baron himself sitting in a bar waiting to devour Eon. Always on the defensive, thinking the worst. Could you blame him though?
Eon's whole life had led up to the ultimate let down. He was an 'Angel' by birth, raised to be a loving caring person, and then cast into an outside world not so different from The Endless Dunes. Your life was always up for the taking, sure their was lawmen, but when the bandits, bounty hunters, mercenaries and murders outnumber those lawmen one-hundred to one... not much law is taken seriously. A person would always have to be on their guard traveling from town to town, always aware of one's surroundings. Eon put his palm to his forehead and shook his head, the reason those five had surrounded him was because of him being unaware.
He had made his way through his home world of Gunsmoke carefully. This wasn't to say he didn't have relaxing moments, having a drink with good company. Not everyone on Gunsmoke wanted to lie, steal and kill. Many just wanted to live their lives, working towards the betterment of society. Everyone had their role to fill. Needless to say he had met many different characters, made many enemies and many friends. Had a teacher that taught him how to survive in the world and gave him hope. He had faith that he would find The Humanoid Typhoon and rid Gunsmoke of that monstrosity, and he had thought there was someone he could trust to help him do it... Knives...
Knives Millions was to be his savior, but in the end was his demise. He let his guard down, he'd let that smile put him at ease. Knives' smile, was that of a long lost relative that you were nothing but happy to see. Then it morphed into a look that only the Devil himself could make. He opened a black-hole, banishing Eon to a void and from that void came a face. The face of a God, with a sinister joyous smile, he had reach out his powerful hand and grabbed Eon from the void and drug him into his own creation, his own Omniverse...
Omni... Eon wanted to hate him, he wanted to stand before him and show the God what it felt like to fall at the hands of an Angel. But why did he hate Omni? What did Omni do that was so awful? Did he take away all of Eon's loved ones? No. Did he drag him unwillingly to the Omniverse? No, he found Eon in the void and gave him a new home. There was no way Eon could have save himself, he would have died in that black abyss. A cruel game this was, but is the way of life in the Omniverse so different that Gunsmoke? Once again, No, Eon had opportunity here just as he did on Gunsmoke. It is filled with violence and strange creatures, but in all reality he himself was a strange creature in his own home world. A fact he chose to keep from everyone for fear they would reject him, hate him, or worse try to kill him. The life of a Prime is not much different here, and in a way Omni has given Eon the opportunity to be himself here. Who would care about the details of his birth when devil children with horns walk amongst, demons with three glowing green eyes.
"I guess I should say, Thanks.. Omni." He looked up at the sky. He wondered what other places there were here, an all powerful God created this place, all the way down to each individual grain of sand. What other possibilities were there.
Eon stopped before the small stone wall, or fence would be more accurate to describe it, of the village. He had been daydreaming again. If he kept that up he'd might as well walk around covered in ketchup in these cannibalistic lands. He didn't see much activity, nobody seemed to be out. He scoped out what lye behind him and walked in.
This village was on the verge of being a ghost town, all it needed was a tumbleweed, "And there it is..." Eon rolled his eyes as a tumbleweed rolled past. Worn down stone and clay homes, most of which looked abandoned, although he swore he could feel cold gazes on him. There had to be some type of rest area, a bar or something. It was freezing out. Just then he saw movement coming from around one of the small buildings. He slowly moved into shadow and waited.
You got to be shitting me... So this will end up being a common occurrence in this place.
Eon watched as two White Soldiers emerged from around the turn, side by side. He could hear them talking to one another, not exactly what though. They seemed to be on patrol, they could possibly be guards.
Oh great, so I run from enlistment only to wander into a place that is under the control of this faction.
He couldn't just keep avoiding every white armored soldier if that was the case. He emerged from the shadow and walked towards the two guards. They continued talking until they were about twenty yards away and noticed Eon and stopped. Eon held his breath, only a few steps between them.
"You there. You're new to Carrefore. State your name and business." One of the soldiers exclaimed.
"Why yes I am new to this small village. I had a friend invite me here for a few drinks. Said there was great spot around here. Although, by the looks of it. I'm afraid he might have embellished that part. My name is..." A moment of pause, "Eon." He hadn't wanted to say his real name, but screw it. Who was he any way other than a fresh Prime. No real reason to hide who he was from a faction that ruled this place.
"Haha, Your buddy must be a real riot. There's a little shit hole of pub around the corner but if you head to the center of the village that's where you'll find Rick's Cafe Americain. Bought the only thing worth going to here." The soldier pointed over his shoulder, Eon was hit with a wave of relief. This could have gone horribly different. "Oh and I should remind you... The Dunes are under the control of The Empire. You best remember that." Pointing directly at Eon. He nodded in response and made his way past the guards.
The Empire huh? Carrefore. I'll remember that...
Eon turned to enter, what he believed was a bar, as he walked through the door.

Eon pushed through the doors, a loud crashing sound reached him and made him shudder, he looked around the room only to see that there was no sign of where the sound came from. Another crash reached him, turning his head he traced it back to another building.
Phew... I agree this place is a lot like Gunsmoke but with all these super powered Primes running around it may be worse.
Deciding to avoid the situation all together he entered, what looked like an abandoned cafe. Extremely rundown, broken chairs and glasses all over. The bar seemed to be the only stable piece of the place. Walking up to the bar, he grabbed one of the last few unbroken chairs, and sat down. Looking around he let out a sigh... "Shame really..." resting his head on the bar.
"WHATCHA MEAN SHAME!?" yelled a voice and with a loud thud of a frying pan next to his head, Eon shot up in his seat. A tingle running up his spine, he turned to see an older woman holding a pan and smoking a cigarette.
"I was just saying its a shame there was no owner of this fine establishment is all!" He said holding his hands together and smiling.
The woman huffed and crossed her arms, "What a crock of shit... so... do you want something to eat?" She peeked open one eye, waiting for his reply and trying to hide a slight hint of eagerness.
"Well if the kitchen is open, I'll have the special of the day! And what ever you have on tap." Eon smiled at the woman, "I'm afraid I don't have any money though."
The woman snickered, "You must be new. Ain't no use for money in the Omniverse. A place where anyone can make anything they want... if they're lucky enough to be a Prime... while the rest of us have to fend off the land. I can tell you're a Prime. Too clean." She walked into the back while talking.
"So I take it you're a Second." Eon said.
"We got ourselves a genius! If I were a Prime, why in the hell would I be in a dump like this. You like salt?" The sounds of sizzling came from the back room.
"Guess that's a good point, so why do you stay here." Eon looked over to the other three broken chairs and rubbed his face.
"I'm stuck here sonny. I was created by an Old Prime, for the sole purpose of being the cook here. This used to be a prosperous place, had a lot to offer... until the war happened. The Kingdom and Empire fought for control of this place. I sat back and watched as my beautiful home withered away before my eyes..." A break in her voice happened, possibly a sob? Eon placed his hand on one of the chairs. "That old bastard of a Prime did do me one favor though... made me a husband. He ran this place, kept it in real good shape. Then a group of thugs began roughing up the town. Breaking things in the place... I told him to let them be... but my hubs..." Audible sobs could be heard.
Eon hesitated to reply, "... Went out in a blaze of glory huh? Sounds like a great man." Not sure if that was the right way to go about it, he grabbed the second chair.
The sobs stopped and a hardy laugh came forth, "You bet your ass sonny! Took ten... no! At least twenty o' those bastards to take him down. One of the toughest men you'd ever met... You're actually one of the first customers I've had since he..."
"Oh?" Eon grabbed the last chair.
"I usually wait in the back until anyone leaves. Don't trust much of anyone, not even the others in this village. They'd rather kill you than look at you twice, or so the saying goes. But when you walked in, that loud sound sent you shuddering like a little girl! Bwahahahaha!" She came out from the kitchen area holding a plate of some type of meat and greens. It smelled... strange but appetizing. She plopped the plate down in front of Eon and happened to look over the three broken chairs and did a double take. They were fixed. "What the... those chairs, how? Did you?"
Eon took a bite out of the food before him, "The concept of Omnillium and its use fascinates me. Did you know that as a Prime I can create anything I want, there is only two stipulations. One, want something. Two, have enough Omnillium to create it. Everything in the Omniverse is connected and created through Omnillium. We as Primes can even create Seconds with our own Omnillium reserves. We gain Omnillium just through existing, most likely by amusing Omni." He took another bite. "These chairs for example. If I had wanted to make a chair it would have taken me, maybe, five to ten minutes. These chairs were only broken though, so I just thought about how badly I wanted the broken parts not broken. This only took a couple of minutes, since I wasn't creating something from nothing." He took another bite.
"Sonny, you didn't have to..." Her eyes began to swell up a bit.
"Want to hear a real circular theory I've discovered? I said that everything is made from Omnillium. The reason Primes don't need to stop in at a dinning establishment to eat food is because if I wanted I could create what ever I wanted to eat. I don't need to wait for a meal, I could make a delicious batch of fried sugar dumplings, they're my favorite. So I'd use my own Omnillium to create a food that I would then ingest. I just consumed my own Omnillium. So what I'm getting at is the concept of eating is unnecessary. All I have to do is desire to be full, or not feel hunger and presto! I'm not. It makes you as a creation seem, frivolous..." He excitement faded and hurt crossed her face. Eon clasped her hands, "But you exist and continue, you could have ended your meaningless life long ago. You may have even contemplated it. Yet, you chose not to. You continued living this existence because it was the first time you had choice. You gave yourself meaning. You gave yourself your own purpose. Not one that was made up by some old Prime. I ate this food because it has meaning, to you." Tears came from the woman's eyes, "I fixed those chairs because you showed me hospitality in a place that is almost void of such actions. You could have refused me, but instead you welcomed me."
"Sonny... who are yo." Before she could finish the door burst open.

The bar doors burst open, one falling off its hing and slid across the floor. A younger man, with long black hair and clothing that resembled a post apocalyptic cyber punk mashup, brought his leg down from a kicking motion. Smiling with a shit-eating grin he pointed at the old woman, "I thought I smelled something good! What gives?? How many times has my buddies and I come in here looking for some grub. Only to leave with nothing. We've torn the whole place to bits trying to find the lady that was meant to make us food!" He laughed after this and put his hands in his pockets, with a crooked posture he walked towards the woman and Eon. He pulled one of the chairs Eon had fixed out and straddled it. "And who da fuck is this? You ain't got the heart to make a meal for your own kind, but you'll cook for this baby faced Prime? What the fuck is that?" Sounding legitimately angry.
"You don't deserve a well cooked meal. You're a scumbag, who gets his kicks out of harming others. And you work with the ones that did this to our home..." The man grabbed her face by the cheeks after the last word and held a small knife to her eye.
"You shut your mouth, you ain't nothin but a drone on repeat. Can't make your own decision if you wanted to." He pushed her back and turned to Eon, looking at the food on his plate. "Hey asshole, gimme that." Reaching for it.
Eon took another bite, almost ignoring the man. The man didn't like this and grabbed at the plate. Eon slide the plate with his left hand and with his right slammed his fork into the man's hand, actually pinning him to the counter.
"GaaaAAHHHH!!! WHAT THE FUCK!" He grabbed the fork but it was lodged in pretty deep. Pulling his knife he swung at Eon's face.
This guy was just a punk, no skill whatsoever. Even Eon, not being extremely proficient in hand to hand, was quick enough to grab the man's hand and stopping it. He drew his black revolver in flash and slammed the grip into the fork again. As the man yelled he shoved the barrel into the man's mouth. Muffled cries came from the man. Eon turned and stared the man in the eyes, "Apologies, I thought you said you were hungry. So I filled your mouth. Go ahead swallow." The man's eyes almost bulged out of his head in fear as Eon pull the trigger.
"Sonny wait!" The old woman cried out as the hammer of the pistol hit, but nothing happened. The man's eyes closed tight slowly opened, scanning the room as if to see if he were in Heaven or Hell.
"Oops. Forgot to reload I guess." Eon pulled the gun out of the guy's mouth. The woman exhaled a breath of relief.
"You mother fucker... Do you have any idea how much shit you're in..." The man said shuddering. Eon twisted the man's arm, making him drop his knife. Then Eon pulled the plate of food over in front of himself.
Eon turned to the man pointing at the food, "You really do looked starved. You probably truly need this... to survive that is. Pitiful..." Eon held his hand over the plate of food and began extracting the Omnillium from it, deconstructing it. "Hmph... you hate Primes, everything about us. Yet you chose to torment and torture others of your kind." He looked over at the old woman and gave a solemn smile, the food vanished. "It really was delicious granny... pointless for me, much like your existence in the Omniverse." He reach toward his other revolver.
"Listen shit bag" The man raised his hand pointing at Eon, shaking. "I'm an informant for the Empire. You stupid fucking Prime. You're dead if you..." Eon shot the man through his hand into his shoulder, "ARRRRRGGHHH!"
"Going to be really hard to inform anybody of anything in a moment." He fired again in the mans leg. Another scream.
"Sonny! Please! You don't have to..." The old woman protested. Eon just smiled when he looked at her, and then a cold stare when he looked back at the man.
"I'm going to save you from this worthless existence. The constant need for destruction. It is self-destructive in it of it's self. Granny here, she does everything she can to continue on living a good life. You on the other hand constantly try to destroy what little she has left. You're a fly, one which will not be noticed if swatted..." Eon raised his gun.
"No wait! I promise I won't mess with the old lady anymore. Just let me go, I won't hurt nobody no more!" The man pleaded, Eon lowered the revolver slightly. A smile grew on the man's face.
"You know what. I actually believe you. You wont hurt anyone anymore." Eon fired a shot right into the man's head. The old woman fainted. Now, for the clean up. He drug the man behind the bar into the kitchen. Returned to the bar and focused on removing the blood stains by breaking apart the Omnillium in the blood. After a couple of minutes the blood was gone. He went back into the kitchen and started working on the man. He heard the sound of voices outside, asking about the shots fired. Knocking on door to door. "Granny, wake up. I might need you to cover for me for a little bit." Eon shook the old woman waking her.
"Why did you do that..." She said not really know whether to be grateful or upset.
"Listen, granny. That guy would have ended up doing to someone else what was done to you and your hubby." Eon crawled into the kitchen and granny stood shocked for a moment.
"Excuse me! Did you hear gunfire?" Two soldiers, clad in white armor, stood in the door.

Granny hesitated, still trying to come to terms with what had and continued to occur. The two soldiers of the Empire entered looking around. She realized her hesitation and tried to play it off as concentrating, as if to recall the gunshots they spoke of. She thought of the young man in the back and made her decision, "Hmm... I hear a lot of gunshots around this place. And very little is ever done about it, why the grand interest all of a sudden?" She leaned over the bar.
"Don't worry about the Empire's interests. Just answer the question you old crone. The shots that went off in this area a few minutes ago. Did you hear where they came from?" The soldiers focused their attention on her.
"I did. I also heard the sound of a big brawl in one of the other places. Did you check there?" She knew she had to stall them for a couple more minutes. "Now come one. You both know damn well that I can't leave this place and don't converse with nobody. Who you looking for?" She said the last bit with an edge of elderly swagger.
The soldiers looked at each other, "Looking for a man with long black hair, clothing looks like its been pieced together. We're supposed to meet with him in this town and escort him back to Coruscant." The soldiers seemed to be getting a tad restless and one began trying to peer into the back.
"A criminal? You're not ones to take uphold the 'law' in these parts, Roland tries to do that... tries." She said causing one of them to clench his fist angrily.
"The Empire ALLOWS that two-bit sheriff, Roland, to play lawman. He knows damn well who's in charge here! Don't you forget it either you old bat, or else you're reminded of that as well. And he isn't a criminal, he has important information." The soldier pointed his finger at granny. The other started to make his way around the bar.
"I know, I just assumed you'd know I knew that and would have known what I meant." She laughed, "tell you what... I'll cook you up some juicy food, if you tell me this juicy bit of info he had. I know little to nothing about what's going on in the Dunes today." They seemed to contemplate the idea. One took a seat at bar. The other took another step towards the back. "So what'll you have?"
"I'll have a some real meat. The Empire always has M.R.Es, dried and processed. Some real meat would be great. How bout you?" The one said to his partner making his way towards the back.
"Ya... me too." He replied.
"As for the guy we're looking for. He infiltrated this cannibal clan, bunch of zealots that believe if they eat Secondaries and Primes they'll gain power, or some bullshit." He took off his helmet, "Its run by some guy named Baron Deathchew." He ran his fingers through his hair.
His partner reached the door to the kitchen, "You here alone?"
Granny felt a panic run through her. Just as she was about to reply, Eon popped his head out holding two plates of food. "Hello!" The soldier at the kitchen door fell to the ground in a fright while the other scrambled to put his helmet on and raise his blaster.
"What the hell!? Who's the hell is that!?" He yelled pointing at Eon.
Granny paused, "... He's..."
Eon set the plates down on the bar and smiled, he was wearing a kitchen apron, "Oh come on, we just ran into one another twenty or thirty minutes ago. I found this old lady and begged her to let me stay for the night and she said I'd have to earn my keep. So, when I heard you were in the mood for meat I cooked you up some. Extremely fresh too!" Eon smiled, whereas granny turned a little pale.
The soldier on the floor hurried to his feet and around the bar, awaiting to see what his partner was going to do. After a few moments he spoke, "Well count your lucky stars a person like her still exists here. Have you seen the man we're looking for?" He sat back at the bar.
"Other than you two and granny here. Haven't had any other interaction or encounter with another soul. I heard your description of him, so I'll keep an eye out. Sounds important if he's going to assist The Empire in taking down a bunch of cannibalistic rebels." Eon smiled and with a bow returned to the kitchen.
The men took big bites of their food, "It'll be a good day for the Empire and the Dunes when it happens. Mhmm. This is good. Funny thing, I couldn't even smell him cooking this up. Damn good though. You ever want a job as a cook for the Empire you let us know!" The soldiers chuckled, bumping elbows into one another.
Eon laughed, "You got it!" In the back of the kitchen he grabbed the head of the man and after a few moments it vanished. Nothing left. "All done cleaning up back here Granny! I'm gonna hit the hay! Exhausting first day in the Dunes."

The Empire's soldiers took their leave, Eon laying on a cot in the back of the kitchen he'd whipped up. In one day, so much had happened. He'd finally found the man he'd been searching for... Knives. Who turned out to be as heartless as the man Eon had been pursuing, the Humanoid Typhoon. Casting Eon into a Black Hole of some sort, he'd drifted until he was plucked from that darkness by an all powerful God named Omni. He had been chosen to be a character in a world of the God's creation for his own amusement. Then...
Welcome to the Nexus would you like to join the Empire? Or else. Eon chuckled to himself. He had to laugh, from the moment he arrived in the Omniverse he had to run. He ran through a white void to a portal that brought him to a place that was much like his home, only slightly more dangerous. And then...
Ah, I see you've chosen The Endless Dunes as your first adventure. Would you like to be eaten by Cannibals, Creatures from the depths of a crazed God's imagination, or would you like to Join the Empire!? Or else! "Ha!" He laughed out loud at that one. He wasn't really a big fan of this 'Empire' so far, seemed a tad too overbearing for his taste, very tyrannical. Could he blame them though? They were plucked from their universe and started an empire, it was quite impressive. Eon just didn't like the fact he'd been pulled into this game so late in it. To have been one of the First Primes, what would that have been like. He knew he would have put a stop to this clear over production of Secondaries. Granny was sweet, but existed for only one sole reason. Primes created them because they were too lazy to do work themselves. Primes had power equivalent to Demigods in this place, at least compared to it's creator Omni. Even so, Prime's abilities rivaled that of Omni's, the only difference was the supply of energy between them. With enough time a Prime might be able to reach the heights of Omni's power...
Ya and how long would a Prime need to be here and why would Omni ever allow a Prime to Walk the same path he walked. Eon shook his head. Unlike Primes, Omni wouldn't create his own destruction, that would be foolish. Secondaries, he had been attacked and almost eaten by them. They killed their own and even had the ability to kill the Primes that created them or as simple as disobey them and go A.W.O.L. They seemed to out number Primes by quite a bit. He'd almost been killed by a group of them, granted he was a weaker Prime at the moment but with enough of them Primes could be overwhelmed. Just seemed like a dangerous thing to do, create a being that could usurp you. It didn't really matter though, that was the least of Eon's current worries. He had work to do.
He had find somewhere to call his own. Possibly even allies. Granny was sweet but he did put her in some danger being here. If it ever, somehow, came to fruition that he'd killed the Empires' informant and the cannibal's cult members, he'd have two very powerful and angry factions after him. Carrefore was a nexus of its own and plenty of unsavory fellows would come through here looking for a fight, or justice or just chaos. The possibilities were endless in the Omniverse. Eon would need a place to retreat to and allies he could rely on to survive on a daily basis here.
First things first though, there was something missing when he arrived in the Omniverse, something he'd found and held dear to him. Though not like his brethren, it did comfort him in an entirely different way. He'd make it, just how it was.
