Fight takes place on a train on a trip through an absurdly-varied track of scenery. Beginning in a nondescript town, progressing through areas of terrain resembling the various verses of the Omniverse, under water, through solid walls, and even the clouds and over the moon, without rhyme or reason as to how or why, though a bearable, consistent 'atmosphere' remains in place for several meters around the train itself.
Introduction round may begin at your leisure. Intro posts are not subject to the word limit.

The revolving and steely thunder of what sounded akin to a thousand horse hooves gripping against the grassy wheat-tufted plain arose with a winding, grinding stutter. Metallic sounds whooped and tripled in number over the tracks laid cleanly out before them in iron and wooden blocks. Pebbles were tossed about by the rumbling vibrations; gushing cataracts of steam and black coal-smoke spluttered up into the great bowl of the sky. With a heavy snort and a shudder, the iron-horse bowed its helm of gilded gold forwards against the wind and labored forth over trodden tracks.
Nondescript and loosely-sketched buildings fell swiftly behind it, merely a dusty and easily-forgotten memory. The carts tugged incessantly along in its wake careened unevenly with the wind, the thick, velvety curtains cover the windows stirring along with the shifting of the train’s silvery armored sides.
One such curtain was swiftly tugged across its coppery hanger, revealing a small, cramped sleeper cabin and a girl stood uncomfortably at its center. Without the curtains blotting out the sunlight, blissful illumination washed over the plush seats and folding toilet that took up much of the precious space within.
The girl, who had fluffy white dog ears poking out from the top of her dark hood, suspiciously narrowed her green eyes at the sliding wooden doors she had pulled closed with a latch. With each shuddering heave the train gave, it let out a warning squeak that grated on her nerves.
But, she had other things to worry about. Far more worrisome things that set her heart to pounding, clogging her throat with bitterly dry dread that only increased with each new terrible possibility her mind spun.
Her eyes strayed for a moment to the sink, small and of porcelain make. It dribbled at her, a single droplet of water rippling across her sea of vexed nerves. The cabin seemed far too dark; the walls drew nearer with each passing second. Jade Harley gulped, the sound audible over the roar of wheels across iron tracks, so very different from the gentle lapping of the waves against her island’s shore.
Oh, how she longed to prance upon its tropical earth once again, the jungle sound in her ears and the breeze teasing through the dark tresses of her hair! But, it was neither the time nor the place to be reminiscing on such abandoned childhood memories. The claustrophobic little cabin was merely a vessel carrying her towards limitless prairie, with the manes of great white horses billowing along either of its blue, star-vaulted sides.
Adventure. The word sang in her blood, stilling her wobbly nerves and sorrowfully trembling lips. Yet, as she looked around at her narrow cabin and stuffy, dust-layered furniture, she became frustrated with her heart’s insistence that it was all well within her reach.
She was caught up in staring longingly at the door latch when a shadow fell across her door, dissipating again hardly an instant later, like the swooping of a great dark bird. This would not have seemed outwardly remarkable had it not been for the fact that this movement was imitated twice soon afterwards.
Jade startled, scarcely believing it. Could someone be wandering out between the railcars? As far as she knew, there was nothing but dizzyingly empty space and a single band of rusted metal linking each car together to be found outside of a cabin. To step out for even a moment would be incredibly precarious— deadly, even.
Her lips curled up into a small smile at the mere thought. Adventure.
With scrabbling hands, Jade unlatched her cabin door and was straightaway startled by the door handle being wrenched from her grasp by the strong, cutting winds. Her eyelashes and cheeks stung as she inched out from her cabin door, buffeted on all sides by the rowdy breeze. Jade’s hair whistled through the air in whip-like movements, a right cat o' nine tails cutting through the air.
Jade found the ladder that would lead her to the top of the railcar, carefully slotting her red-slippered feet atop one of the metal bars there. The steel bit at her fingers as she latched onto it, cool and almost sharp. Her eyes squeezed tightly shut, Jade ascended.
The top of the railcar was like an inverted tunnel, hurtling towards some unseen destination and with wind tearing over its ribbed top. Sunlight glinted over the metallic covering, and Jade’s hands scrabbled for purchase until she was finally able to stand. A frown worming its way over he normally cheery face, Jade peered through coursing air at the three people tearing their way across the top of the train.
One, a teenaged girl with long black hair and red eyes, wielded a wicked blade that sliced soundlessly through the air as she curved it with dexterous skill; A real Red Eyed Killer. Another, clad in clothing that allowed for its wearer to circumvent any blows or sword thrusts, seemed to simply disappear from one place and reappear seamlessly in another with alarming frequency.
It was clear that the two previously described were facing off against the taller fellow, who was clad all in peculiar dark armor that glimmered as he walked. This armor also appeared to be fundamentally mechanized, and Jade would be unsurprised to discover that its wearer was just the same. He was equally hawkish and shrewd towards his opponents, giving as much as he got with each blow.
For a few fleeting seconds, Jade considered returning to her cabin and simply pretending that nothing out of the ordinary had transpired. It was a trick of the light, a hallucination at best— there certainly weren’t any unruly brigands scuffling atop the moving locomotive.
Unfortunately, it would seem that fate had other ideas, as a sudden jolt sent Jade tumbling forward and nearly caterwauling over the callous steel-lined edge. With luck, or perhaps miserably without it, the dog-eared girl merely slid a few feet and scraped her knees until they bled. This stroke of good fortune was interrupted by a heavy foot thumping loudly right beside her head, like a thunderclap on a balmy midsummer evening.
“Agh!” Jade yelped, rolling out of the way. Her elbows jabbed painfully against the metallic layering of the railcar, the contents of her stomach pitched sloppily around as she attempted to just get out of the flipping way.

Akame leaned against the wall of the train, trying to hide the splat of blood that had dried up on her skin. "A rather easy target today," she whispered to herself quietly, "let's keep that up." The train was quite except for the rumbling of the wheels over the tracks. She observed the people around her, no one looked remarkable but it's best she keep out of others way, lest she be recognized by the authorities for murders.
'Many believe I am but a monster, and killing is just a game for me. No. I dread having to kill so many people, but it's for the better of the land. Tyrants will fall if need be, Night Raid will take out corruption from it damnable roots.'
Her train of thought, and the silence of the train, was interrupted by a clashing sound. "I wonder what that could have been." Many of the other passengers around her were starting to feel nervous from the sounds. It was bad enough a woman with red eyes carrying a sword was scanning the room; now there's odd sounds coming from the train car behind them.
The sound reverberated again, but this time it was louder. Akame knew what was going on. Her hand rested on the hilt of Murasame, ready to be unsheathed just in case. "That's them, I knew I wasn't going to get away quietly, hopefully none of these passengers attempts to jump in." It was the guard, ready to take Akame's head for the recent murder she had committed.
Or not. A man dressed in shadowy clothing burst through the door, carrying a rather small satchel of some kind. Behind him was actually the guard- No wait, it was some kind of robotic man. "What the he-" Akame was cut off when the shadowy figure bumped into her, handing of his bag to her. "Here, hold this!" He yelled as he ran past her. This was bad.
The man titan robot was hot on his trail. "Stop that thief, and his accomplice!" Well, shit. Time to run. Akame trailed behind the man who had baton passed his bag to her. "Hey, you bastard! I've got my own damn problems!" Demetri was climbing out the window now. "Well, now you have another. You're welcome!"He vanished past the window and on to the top of the train. Akame wasn't going to let him get away with this, she followed up behind him, Colonel getting the chance to see Akame climb up onto the roof of the cab.
Next thing everyone knew, it was an all out fight. Colonel was attacking them both, but he was obviously the superior opponent here so she fought with Demetri, holding of Colonel's barrage of attacks.
Akame moves back to take a breath, and nearly steps on a woman's head in the process. "Either head back into the cab, or start attacking. If you would rather not die, I'd suggest the former." Akame stomped back over to Colonel to aid Demetri's efforts.

A wide grin fell upon Demetri's face as he shoved the duplicate of the satchel into the hands on the red-eyed girl. He was glad he took the time beforehand to plan everything out. A forced ally and distraction as he opened the door to the next cart on the train, the metal door creaking loudly as he slammed it open. He quickly ducked as a slash came from the robotic infused being, taking out a large chunk f the door as it sizzled.
With swift and agile movements he stuck himself out of the side of the trains, keeping a solid grip as he climbed on top, where his real satchel swayed and tugged on the small hook he had created. He quickly took the stolen device out of his pocket and stuffed in his his bottomless satchel before a sword came up from directly below him, mere inches from piercing his leg. As it retreated back down, the thief could see a glowing light, and was blown off to the side as an explosion melted a hole into the ceiling of the train.
A quick shot of his chain sent the thief swing back to the safety of the train as he slammed back into the metal, scrambling to find a handhold. His fingers caught into the ridges in the metal as he hung on for his life, glancing at the landscape below rushing past him. The large train was currently over a large ravine, which they would continue to be over until they reached their destination in the city. The darkness below was intimidating, to say the least, and it was certain that unless one could fly, the plummet below would certainly mean death. With a harsh swallow, the thief processed this information.
The thief pulled himself up to see the two primes had already come out of the hole, deciding to fight in the open. The few passengers that were on the train were rushing to the front cars. This must have sparked something in the female prime below, since she too began to rise in defense. As he sensed their abilities, Demetri could tell this was going to be one hell of a showdown.

This had been a simple assignment.
The mysterious train was rumored to be home to an oddity, even among the Omniverse. Certain people and things that embarked on it didn't always reach their destination intact. Sometimes they just simply vanished altogether. Sometimes they returned from their trip with impossibly fantastic tales of their experience on the journey. And still more had mention of terrible, horrible fiends and deranged madmen lurking in the shadows of the train, cutting off access and communication with the outside, 'normal' world by any means necessary, said to be the crew of the transdimensional locomotive.
Colonel's job had been to simply investigate these rumors, and find out the extent of their truth.
So far he'd seen nothing but ridiculous antics hellbent on preventing him from achieving that goal and one sign pointing to some truth in the matter. A brief run-in with something that he was quite certain would have been more at home in the Moors, from what he had read about the area on the Dataverse, and then all hell had broken loose. Someone had gotten the bright idea to rob him and make off with the only physical possession he had on his person. The only logical conclusion was that whoever that thief was, he was in on this whole sick game of cutting people off from the outside world, and had chosen Colonel as the next one to suffer the mysteries of this train.
That wasn't going to stand.
And the sneak had an accomplice on hand. Two against one was never good odds...but there was the principle of the thing to consider here. As the pair of thieves went out the window and to the roof, Colonel turned his haze upward and thrust his blade into the roof of the car. The energy blade sizzled as it tore through the relatively thin material. Without the accompanying indication of a target being struck he had no idea whether the blow struck true Withdrawing his blade, he turned his gaze to the window. There was no way he was going to fit through like his quarry had done. Going for the door to climb to the roof the 'normal' way would be too predictable. That left only one course of action.
Overwhelming firepower.
The blade of his saber let out a crackling glow, power flowing into the blade with increased vigor. Sparks danced along it, fragments of energy trailing from the blade, threatening to catch the carpeting of the train car aflame. But all he needed was a few seconds, and...
Screen Divide!"
A sizzling blade of energy tore through the roof, carving its way through with explosive force. And leaping through the heat-hazed air, landing on the edge of the warped, slagged hole in the roof of the care was Colonel, who immediately lunged forward into a broad stroke of his saber, nearly catching both thieves in one go. The girl deflected the blow with a blade of her own, and the one who had actually pilfered from him merely rolled under the blow, regaining his feet out of immediate reach. A brief clash of blades revealed one thing to the soldier program quite readily: he had the clear edge in firepower. If he could land but a few solid hits this would be child's play.
But they had him vastly outperformed in maneuverability and speed. Especially given his two on one situation. Scratch that, three on one, as the arrival of another girl soon announced. He slowly took a few paces back, keeping all three of them in clear view, saber held up in a defensive posture across his torso. This wasn't going to go well for him if he didn't think clearly. Three against one would normally be a recipe for disaster. In these treacherous environs, it was all but a certainty. If they attacked him all at once he would be hard-pressed to even defend himself competently, much less return any sort of fire himself.
He took a deep, slow breath, steeling his nerves and widening his stance. "I don't know what your game is here. But whatever it is I don't plan to let you get away with it."

Jade scrambled to her feet, some ingrained instinct setting her blood to pumping and unease curdling in her gut. Stinging rust-red and minuscule shards of torn metal had scraped the skin of her knees and elbows raw, and small beads of blood peppered her skin. Pain needled at her, but it had yet to swallow her up and make moving a completely cruddy idea. The young Witch sniffled indignantly.
‘Eyes up, my dear girl!’ her grandfather would say. ‘There’s no time to lose!’
Except Jade apparently had all the time to lose, and the towering mechanical fellow was glaring at her as if he was trying to perform laser surgery with his eyes.
Everyone else seemed prepared to kick some serious caboose, and then there was Jade left floundering about, both outranked and severely outgunned. It was pretty rude, if you had asked her, and the firearm pressing firmly into the small of her back swung heavily from its strap as she took a halting step backwards to better assess the situation.
A tremor quavered through her hands, stemming from the whirring locomotive and the quaking earth itself, and Jade fumbled behind her back for her gun. With twitchy fingers and an existentially harassed look on her face, she yanked her trusty cobalt-blue blaster gun out of its sling and levered it uncertainly at the mechanical soldier’s knees. The breeze whipped around them as if they were all trapped in a cylindrical, spiraling wind tunnel, and for an aqueous and drifting instant, everything stood still.
With a lurch, the spacio-temporal balance crashed back into its right dimensions, and Jade staggered as a sheet of rain poured down from the sky with all the subtlety of a barrage of lightning-quick bullets, stormy grey leeching color out of the horizon and rolling hills around them. Her shoes slid across the slick metal covering of the train, the edge of her slippers catching on the bridge of a slightly upturned ridge, and as everything swung back into motion she steered the nozzle of her gun to fire towards the ground.
Shlink! A single snowball round burst in a puff of frost and glittering blue crystals. The black-haired blade wielder and the illusory thief altered their tactics to accommodate the frozen patch of uneven ground now placed smack-dab in the middle of the rail-car. Jade quickly ducked around them, whiplash winds having made it nigh impossible for her to have heard the program speak, and skidded to an abrupt stop.
“Can’t we just talk this out?” she begged the opposing combatants, mashing one heel down hard on the tinny covering with a huff. Drizzly lightning branched across the sky with an electrical crackle, cutting everything into stark white for a split moment. “I’m sure there’s an easy solution if we sit down and talk about this like civilized people!”
While the frozen ground effectively bisected the car into two sections, making a truce entirely imaginable, it was possible for the mechanized humanoid to skirt around it with relative ease. Still, one heavy boot crunched down onto an icy mound and threw him just slightly off balance, one of his feet grating against the skittering fragments of metal that he had created in tearing an enormous hole through the rail-car’s roof. Just enough to give the swordswoman an easy opening, which she readily accepted with a swift slash of her blade.
In retaliation, the incredibly strong warrior merely shifted his stance, the assembled metal of his armor glinting in bright sunlight as the jarring volley of rain droplets receded with the hurtling wind. When he turned with not a dent or a scuff visible on the surface, Jade noted the span of erratic seconds it took him to do so.
She was faster than him, but only by a slim margin— if they were to come into close quarters, she feared she would end up with her butt handed quite unceremoniously to her on a platter. The herculean strength with which he merely jammed the swordswoman aside with an elbow was terrifyingly efficient. Jade wavered uncertainly as he advanced heavily towards herself and the thief, her mind racing and green eyes glancing this way and that.
“Uhm,” Jade stammered, her palms upraised slightly, to do just what against the mechanical titan she did not know. Her snow-white ears laid back as she readied for any incoming blows. “Uhhhhh!”
Just as a gunmetal grey fist prepared to form an attack, Jade zapped out of his line of sight, a sparkling green after-image left in her wake that spiraled with lime-colored supernovae. Without missing a beat, the armored being hammered his elbow backwards into her midsection and oh gosh did that hurt.
She just about crumpled upon impact alone, but by then the others were upon him.

Environment transitioned to a rainy area and then to some sunny place.
Jade fired Little Sn0w at the ground and created an icy environmental hazard in the middle of the rail-car.
Akame sliced at Colonel pretty ineffectively, and he shoved her out of the way in trying to get at Demetri, pretty much.
Jade panicked, teleported behind Colonel, and received an elbow to the gut.

The mechanical monster was just as tough as he was strong. It was going to be difficult to injure him with Murasame. The slash she provided his chest hardly cut through, barely a scratch to the thick metal plating. When Akame saw the results of her swing, she was disappointed, but still unchanged. After the three of them took down this machine, she was going to take the head of that freaking assassin that drug her into this.
The wind was blown out of her when she was shoved away by Colonel. Her back collided with the rail car's roof and swung her over the side. She caught the guard rail just in time, or else she would have ended up being a part of the tracks. Luckily, Colonel was distracted by Demetri, it seemed the thief boy was his primary target. The rouge was dodging slices from Colonel's laser sword with ease. He was too slow to land a well placed hit on Demetri.
Akame yanked herself back on board. She was winded and breathing heavily, but she has been in worse situations. Gripping the handle of Murasame tightly she charged in behind Colonel quietly. Due to his attention being else where, Colonel was unaware that Akame was still on board the train. The ice slipped her off balance, however, sending the shot she was sure would be some kind of power source, to Colonel's left arm. Sparks flew from the opening where she may have hit some wires. Murasame's tip jammed through the metal barely, but the strike shook her arms, like slamming a metal bar against a thick tree and holding on to it. Colonel was not pleased with his new wound. Judging by how he flung the girl back again with that arm, it didn't seem the wires she hit were anything too important.
When Akame's vision cleared from being hit again, she saw that Demetri had somehow been knocked on his rear end, and Colonel was about to make the finishing blow to him. Oh no. That was her target now. She quickly rose and jumped in between the robot and the thief. Her blade met his, sparks flying past her face as he tried to overpower her. "Don't you even think about killing him." Demetri felt good that she had jumped into protect him, that is until her words fell upon his ears again. "That target is mine! If anyone is going to kill him, it's going to be me! Homiru!" Her foot met the joint of Colonel's knee where the ice caused him to slip. While he was off balance, Akame spun around landing another kick to his chest. The metallic man came down with a loud crash. Unfortunately, the metal on his body prevailed twice. Akame's leg had been shocked when it connected with his chest. That would most assuredly slow her down.
The train shadowed through a tunnel, disappearing into a mountain. Jeez, where was this train going anyways? They have seen at least five different scenery changes since their transition to the roof. The tunnel was terribly lit with over head lights that either flicker in a dim white florescence, or didn't work at all. This made it extremely hard to see, or focus on what was going on at all. The air in the cave was heavy too, not to mention how warm it was. The ice in the center of their rather skinny battlefield had begun to melt. Although Akame's vision wasn't the best right now, she could tell from the cold escaping off her leg that the ice was disappearing.
Akame moved from her current position, to gain a bit of ground away from her opponent. She needed a minute to formulate some strategy, because brute force wasn't working well at this point. That wolf girl must be able to see well in the dark, and the machine man might have some form of night vision as well. Right now, Akame was useless to fight. That, however, did not stop Colonel from attacking her. Passing under some dim lights, Akame lost visual of Colonel. She gripped her sword tightly, but it was already too late. A bright light lashed out at her and slid deep into her shoulder. She backed away quickly, holding her hand on the new wound placed upon her left shoulder.
Now weakened, Akame was definitely unable to attack at the moment. Colonel turned his attention once more to the other two, now that he could focus on those who seem like the weaker links of the battle.
Quote:Breakdown!
Akame was hit by Colonel to the side of the train, where she nearly fell to the tracks and her death.
Akame gave Colonel a light show function on his arm, cutting up a few wire that weren't significant to his operation.
Demetri nearly lost his life before being saved by Akame. Akame suffered a minor leg injury upon kicking Colonel's chest.
The train has shifted into a dark cave. Jade and Colonel may have the upper hand now since they posses the ability to see in the dark.
Akame suffered a mild wound to the left shoulder and the ice in the center of their fight has dissipated.

Demetri quickly hatched a plan as the red-eyed woman blocked the robotic prime's attack, while the more timid girl stayed back, recovering from the elbow she took to the gut a bit earlier. The thief faded as the cyborg pushed back the sword wielder, before turning to find the thief gone, and only the more peaceful girl standing before him. She seemed to be confused as well to where the cloaked troublemaker went, until she felt Little Sn0w being ripped from her hands. She had not enough time to react as the thief came into view, simultaneously shooting colonel with his new weapon and throwing himself over the edge of the train.
Colonel sidestepped the first two shots, but the third hit his left foot, freezing it to the floor, making his right one an easy target for the next shot. The robotic prime had not the mobility to dodge as a chain came flying his away, with only being able to lift his saber arm in time for it to take the hit instead of his face.
The thief used the robotic prime as a fulcrum as he swung down through the door into the interior of the train, lifting his legs to keep his momentum out to the other side pocketing Little Sn0w for its last precious shots. The thief was swung upwards before being still in the air for a moment, allowing a single second for the two primes to lock eyes.
The thief, being faster, shot his chain into the primes other arm, now having restriction on each of his limbs. A split moment later, Colonel pulled against the chain with his right arm with all the might he could must, at the same time turning his blade into a small buster, aiming towards the thief and shooting wildly to free himself. the shots burned into the princethief's skin, sizzling his flesh as holes were made in his flimsy leather armor while he then descended.
With gasps and grunts of pain the thief managed to make it back to the interior, feeling the struggle as the robotic prime continued to tug at the chains, the fierce movement flowing through the thief. it would not be long until he would be able to break free, as his strength outmatched those of Demetri.
With a deep breath , the thief struggled against the thrashing chains, pining them both to the floor as he rolled, allowing Little Sn0w to fall out of the satchel. He could sense the prime continuing to fight the two women above, and having a hard time trying to deal with them while Demetri was at work. The thief stretched his hand until he reached the handle of Little Sn0w with his left hand, before finally reaching it and firing a shot into the opposite chain. The ice was solid and firm as it kept the chain in place, but there was more commotion above. Shots from the buster were fired downwards, making their way down until one singed the thief's back while he groaned in pain. As quick as he could, the thief repeated the process to the other side, before it shattered in his hands from being used too much.
To free himself from his own bounds, the thief summoned his swordbreaker and broke the chains between him and the ice, allowing him to be free to move once more. Once he had done so, his chains repairing, the thief reached out and began to make his way back up to the action, his image fading once again as he did so.

Blast it all... That thief was a crafty one, if nothing else. He was left well and truly stuck, for the moment, while the female swordsman, and the other, de-weaponed girl, were free to continue unimpeded by such entanglement. A single feat of brute strength would likely be sufficient to free himself from these chains, but he was preoccupied with contending with an onslaught of sword strikes.
The much greater speed of the swordswoman, when paired with his own restricted range of motion, did not make for a good result for him. Numerous small nicks and scratches soon littered his frame, more than a few of them biting deep enough so spit sparks. The damage was still minor, but it was already beginning to accumulate, his internal sensors already lighting up with warnings about risk of severe damage.
And then it finally happened. With a horrible grating screech of metal, her blade scraped past his makeshift guard with a shower of sparks, and bit deep into his side.
Electricity and loose data flowed from the jagged gash like blood, but it didn't even seem to faze the soldier program. Without even flinching, he surged forward with his left arm and grasped the woman by her forearm. All he needed was one good effort; one good burst of strength and leverage.
The cold look in his eyes as he turned his face on the other girl made her retreat half a pace, bringing her now empty hands up in a pleading gesture. Colonel's eyes only narrowed in contempt. He'd seen people try to play the innocent card before. It hadn't worked then.
With a twist of his entire body, the cyber-soldier took one step forward, straining against the chain binding his left arm, and with a snapping of metal links it broke, the now-loose end flailing and whipping about wildly. And Colonel completed his motion, his arm whipping around to hurl the swordswoman bodlly at the other girl.
His now free hand grasped at the chain still binding his sword arm, and with a harsh tug, it too gave up the ghost, snapping free and releasing its grip on him. The loose chains clattered off the sides of the train, which Colonel now realized was quite literally traversing at nearly a ninety degree incline — straight down. Against all logical thought they were still held to the train as if gravity had re-oriented itself by some bizarre turn of events, and if Colonel had had a stomach...it would have been turned.
"If your teamwork was better you might be fairing better," he said flatly, bringing his sword to bear. Though it was true enough, even their erratic attacks had been enough to keep him hard-pressed to keep up. He'd been forced on the defensive thus far and hadn't had much chance to deliver retaliation of his own. Three against one was just never good odds.
"We're not even on a team!" the rather timid-seeming girl spoke up, indignantly. "I don't even know these people!"
"And yet you're the one who drew your weapon to stay and fight instead of retreating." Colonel's voice was colder than the shots her strange little weapon fired. "If this had nothing to do with you, that would have been the smartest thing to do." His saber flickered with a more pronounced surge of energy, sparks dancing along it. "You're either not that bright, or a terrible liar." He took one step forward, planting his boots firmly on the roof of the train car, raising his saber overhead, looking for all the world like he was ready to charge wildly into the fray.
Some other indignant comment from the lass was cut off with a rough shout of "SCREEN DIVIDE!" The exact same blade of energy that tore a hole through the roof of the train car erupted into sight, carving another molten gash through the metal — and headed right for Jade and Akame.

Her face burned red with anger, for Jade knew that she had been in the wrong to draw her weapon. There hadn’t appeared to be much else she could do at the time— create a rift down the rail-car’s middle, divide and conquer through peace talk, it had all seemed like a splendid idea to her! The mechanized soldier had a point, though; drawing a weapon was synonymous with challenge universally. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
She clenched her teeth and hissed out a sound of muted rage, like a red-hot tea kettle whistling above the wind. How could she be so wrong?
A long, drawn-out screech of metal being torn asunder distracted her from her frustration. As she looked up, popping sparks blackening the path of the electric green slice of energy hurtling towards her, Jade’s entire world was sent reeling as a tidal wave of pain and light rippled like hundreds of shards of splintered steel across her body.
The sound she made wasn’t so much of a shout as a scream, a hoarse and desperate noise that took all of her energy with it. It was swallowed up by the wind and dragged over the side of the metallic lip of the train only to be dashed upon the iron tracks below.
Miraculously, she came to not an instant later. Nausea broiled angrily at the back of her throat as she scrabbled uselessly at the steel covering, searching nearly unconsciously for her gun. Her sweaty palms slid over a patch of stinging ice, a reminder of her mistake, but no saving grace could be found. A thin trickle of liquid slid down the side of her face, sticky and sweet. Damn that thief.
In a swoop of dark shadow which sent a rush of disturbed air crawling along the nape of her neck, a dimly visible shape passed over her. Jade didn’t care much; everything around her seemed as if it were filtered through seawater or cheap, gritty film. The train was solid and cool beneath her, but she could still feel the phantom tremors from when her skull had struck against it with a thunderous crack.
The slithering, metallic slide of chains drew her gaze towards the opposite side of the railcar. A blurry, wavering silhouette, quick as lightning and faster even, was flung about as if it were a hay-stuffed doll by a denser, more starkly-illuminated shape that glimmered with a steely resolve. Jade dared not look to her side to see what had become of the raven-haired swordswoman from before.
With an enormous effort that broke through her heavy-lidded stupor with needle-like precision, Jade rose to her feet. A few odd droplets of blood slid down the side of her ankle, her grey and white striped stockings becoming rust-colored and wet. Her leg juddered somewhat; while still fighting against drooping eyelids, she recognized with a faint hint of concern that her leg was bent at a distinctly unnatural angle.
That robotic warrior had looked at her as if she were stupid. That was mighty fine by Jade— maybe she was! A dumb fucking kid without a clue about how the world works, leaping into action at the wrong place and the wrong time— she has been told this plenty of times. She needs to be looked after, placed in a padded compartment somewhere deep underground.
CreeeeEEEEAAK.
Jade smiled, a crooked little thing simmering with rivulets of blood.
She was used to being underestimated. Besides, going after big game was always a challenge!
A shower of curled metal and smashed seams peppered the ground as the rail-car roof was slowly, painstakingly warped inwards, as if to catch any wayward precipitation or persons as they fell. The air buffeted Jade from all sides, a halo of ratty and tangled dark hair rising up around her head.
“How’s this for stupid?” she asked no one in particular. They were all too busy fighting, anyhow, and the atmosphere coiled rather snugly around them, so when the mess of warped metal they were standing upon gave a little shuddering bend it was hardly noticeable. She figured they would have agreed that it was undeniably a very stupid plan.
Her eyebrows knit together in concentration, Jade strained to tug the rail-car a little further upwards. Distant cries, like coins rattling around in a tin can, emerged from the winding cabins up ahead. This rail-car was the last of the line. All it would take was a quick and easy separation with her hold over Space, and dozens of innocents would be safe.
With a great hoisting motion and a muffled sob of shrieking metal and strained muscles, the rail-car, along with the four Primes standing atop it, was wrenched several degrees to the side and detached from the rest of the train.

Akame, after being flung by Colonel, landed on top of the other girl whom she had almost stepped on. "Crap...He could have tore my arm off if he had done that right." The metallic man that had thrown her is now charging up for something. Akame saw it wasn't going to be pretty. Her instincts came into play as she heaved herself to the edge of the train, swinging over it side and handling the guard rail. With her current wound to the leg she barely made it out of the way before the move made it's way to the two females. However, Jade was not as fortunate as Akame.
Akame pulled herself up slowly to the train car. Having been flung over the edge made her take into realization the new scenery. Dear god it made her sick; The best she could do was ignore it.
Back to her feet, and the train car being half destroyed, Akame moved to engage Colonel once more. That is until she felt the train caboose tug as it was decoupled from the rest of the other nine or so cars. Now her space was even more limited, crap.
There was no time to worry about this though. Colonel was firing his buster at her, and she just fast enough to dodge some. One had hit her dead in the stomach, and that didn't feel good. She moved to get closer to him, which she accomplished without taking any more shots. Colonel switched to his saber, but not fast enough to block Akame's sword. Murasame found it's way across the gash that was already in Colonel's chest, just as she had planned to aim for, slashing though more wires in the robot's body. Electric surged from the wound again.
She backed off after making this wound, blocking a strike from the metallic man's saber with her forearm. This caused her bracer to go flying in the wind, and a small cut to appear on her left arm. When it had calmed down, the train had transgressed into a more leveled area, covered in snow, and a frozen lake was to her left. The car they were on now had come to a halt. Akame shuddered at the cold, wishing she had brought her pink scarf with her. "Damn it's cold here."
She looked to Jade and Demetri and motioned them towards the lake. "Move! Get off the train!" She hopped down off the train, Demetri and Jade hesitantly following her lead. Colonel wasn't going to let this go, however, so he pursued the three. "We need to work together to get this fight finished. I propose a truce with you thief. If we survive this, I'm going to kill you though." Demetri just snickered and responded with, "whatever you say lass. You can try, but I'll be long gone by then."
"Fine by me, as long as you're gone and never involve me again." The three stopped on the lake, Colonel hot on their tail began to catch up. "I will distract him. Thief, you move to flank. You, girl." She pointed to Jade. "See if you can find a way to break this ice underneath the robots. Let's fry his circuits." Jade was somewhat impressed by Akame's quick thinking, and Demetri couldn't care less. It suited his fighting style, though. "Just don't get in my way, lass." He said in response. "I should be saying that to you," she said coldly, "now, go!" The three split up. Demetri vanished and Jade ran to the edge of the lake to get away from the fight as she formulated her plan to break the lakes ice.
Akame charged Colonel as he came closer. Right now it was time for a one on one fight between Akame and Colonel until Demetri could get in position.

Akame dodged Screen Divide barely.
A slash repeated across Colonel's chest that was already opened up.
Terrain movement: Now the fight has progressed to a frozen lake surrounded by trees.
Lastly, Akame has taken lead of the group and formulating a plan to take Colonel down as a team.

The train car had been decoupled from the rest of the train, in some fantastic display of a power Colonel couldn't pin down. If he didn't know any better, he'd almost say the timid-seeming girl had done it with here mind. But that was impossible. There was no grounding for something like that in possibility.
He could dwell on whatever had caused it later. How it had happened didn't matter nearly as much as that it had happened, in the situation at hand. The train car coasted onward for a short time, before coming to its inevitable halt in the midst of a snowy wilderness. His quarry ditched the motionless hunk of former transport, and bolted across the nearby terrain.
In a straight contest of speed, they would have likely gotten away quite easily. His heavy tread, crunching slowly but steadily through the now, couldn't hope to keep up with even the slowest of the three over any great distance. As he crested a bank of snow to glare down at the glimmering face of the frozen lake, he was surprised to find any of them still within sight. The girl with the sword, standing ready to face him from the looks of it, and the other girl, with the strange canine ears, dashing off across the lake.
The thief was nowhere to be seen, immediately setting off an alarm flag in the soldier program's mind. They were up to something. Finally showing their colors, working in tandem. Caution was the order of the day.
He advanced down the embankment of snow, his saber held up in a guarded position over his chest. Sparks flickered and danced from the severed wires in the twin pair of gashes across his torso, casting his face into stark relief in the dim shade of his helmet, revealing an expression of focused intent, his attention zeroed in on the sword-wielding girl directly before him. Contend with the known threat first, but keep alert for any tricky tactics.
In answer to his slow march forward, Akame charged forward to meet him. Her speed had her within striking range before the cybernetic soldier had taken more than a few steps. Steel met sizzling plasma in a shower of sparks. For a moment there was a deadlock, blades held steady. Advancing downhill as he was, coupled with his larger stature, Colonel had the clear edge in leverage — not to mention raw power. Even with only one arm to bring to bear in the struggle of locked blades, he overpowered the girl readily, forcing her back. First one step, then another.
And then the unassuming white powder proved how disastrous it could be, as the one-cut killer put her foot down in a pile of more slush than snow, sinking down into the frigid half-liquid. Her balance was thrown off, and she staggered, just enough to present an opening.
An opening Colonel exploited fully.
His left arm came seemingly from out of nowhere, striking the girl in her stomach with all the force of a sledgehammer. It actually lifted her off the ground, the breath exploding out of her lungs. Her eyes went wide, whether from the shock or pain, Colonel had no idea. But when his massive boot came up a moment later, 'catching' her as she fell with a savage kick, there was no question. It was a look of pain that flashed across her features as she was sent flying through the air, once again, like a rag doll. He had already learned not to underestimate her, during their brief duel on the train. In a prolonged clash, her speed would inevitably give her the edge. He needed to play to his own strengths.
And as he resumed his slow march down the hill, watching the raven-haired swordswoman crash down on the icy surface of the lake, his saber blazed with a cascading shower of sparks, his signature attack readying for use. His ever so faintly luminous green eyes flicked out across the lake, searching for any sign of the canine-eared girl, keeping in mind any treachery she might be up to. And he strained his hearing for any indication of the chain-wielding thief. He didn't want to let himself be blindsided by those chains again.
His heavy boots crunched down on the ice at the lake's edge, and he was greeted with the sight of Akame rising back up to stand, looking ready to continue the fight despite her breathless manner of carrying herself. Though it didn't show, he was rather surprised she was already back on her feet. Blows of that caliber would have easily crippled a regular human beyond functioning.
No matter. Colonel always had other tricks up his sleeve.

"Whatever you say lass..." The thief rolled his eyes as the girl trying to assume control of the trio. He could barely hold back his grimace as the girl began shouting out her plans, as if the target in front of them was deaf. The thief grumbled under his breath. Sure, he would flank the prime, but upon his own motives, not hers.
The thief vanished as he formed his own unannounced plan, however, the woman with those green powers was quite the wild card. He would not know when she would do something like she did with the train. He would need to be cautious.
Demetri watched the two battle as sparks flew, the other girl charging her energy in the background. It seemed the swordswoman was faster, but the saber wielding robot stronger. Demetri watched in amusement as the Navi began to cut the girl down, knocking her off balance and following up with another attack. With a grin the thief decided it was his time to move in, and quickly shot a chain around the Prime's arm again, just as it sent its attack to the girl, kicking her back onto the ice.
Demetri prepared his leap as he retracted his chain, using it for mobility, until a sharp jolt sent him off balance. Green cracks surfaced from the ice before the thief muttered under his breath.
"Lass you really have poor timing..."
The thief quickly adapted to the sudden change and jumped into the air, spinning as he aimed his leg at his target. However, the ice shifted one more and the Navi was sent back at him. The thief could do nothing as his enemy gave a daunting stare, twisting his saber from the now loosened chain before plunging it into the thief's torso.
With a gasp, Demetri groaned, the pain flowing throughout his body like a painful poison, before he narrowed his eyes.
"I have no pity for the likes of you, thief."
"I don't need pity, " the thief spoke with a harsh, painful whisper, the blood spilling from his wound. "It has no room in my satchel of prizes." A bloody grin shone through the white snow and ice before the Navi felt the second chain plunge into the same arm that held the saber and thief.
"I will take you down with me in my death."
The Navi grunted as he struggled o shove the thief off of his weapon, before he too felt a pain from behind. A female roar erupted as Akame thrusted her own sword into the Primes back, piercing both ally and foe before giving a twist and pulling it back out again.
The Navi grimaced as he felt himself lose some data, not out of pain but out of aggravation, before transforming his arm back to a buster, charging a shot and launching the thief off of him, turning to face the woman again.
Demetri slid across the ice until he hit a shifted crack, coming to a halt as he stared at the blood seeping his leather armor. Luckily the wounds were cauterized from the weaponry, but it didn't stop them from hurting. He raised his hand and felt the struggled grinding of the chains as the tried feeding off of his om, it was clear his injuries were affecting him now. If he wasn't careful he his bluff just may come true.

Bitter, nail-biting thoughts crept into her head. The thief was dead or as good as dead. In a momentary blur of motion the dark-haired swordswoman was up from where she had been thrown onto the ground, her sword arm flexing and her shoulder blades smarting from the effort.
The soles of Jade’s shoes swept over the treacherously jagged ice, impossibly red droplets trickling down her leg with each footfall. Her ears were as sorely-colored as her blood and she was utterly chilled to the bone. Watery eyes strained against the breathing field of snow spread all around their lonely rail-car, the coppery taste of blood sharp-tasting in her mouth and dribbling down her chin in sticky trickles.
She was a means unto an end. Before, she could move mountains with a simple hand gesture, but in that boundless, mercilessly white landscape there were no great monoliths or mounds of rock to topple. She would have to think creatively.
Her spacial awareness flexed, much like a forgotten limb stretching against the confines of reality, before settling over everything around her like a thick woolen blanket. The sickening tilt of her situation marred the exquisite beauty of the swirling, wintry world around her— it was not the world she knew, and the people there were just as unfamiliar. A drowsy, half-lidded glance towards those virulent persons to be found but a short distance away was evidence enough of that. Now, if only she could compel that sphere of attentive actuality to move.
Deep furrows of ice, severely entwined throughout the lake in shapeless heaps, suddenly became clear. Jade’s arms burned with a relentless pain as she deliberately drew them apart, her palms falling open as if to catch the frozen drizzle tinkling down from above. Viridian flames leapt eagerly across her skin; her limbs began to jerk spasmodically with exertion.
Unbeknownst to the struggling combatants, where the mechanized soldier’s heel ground with a harsh keen against the ice, broken bits of powder collected and spilled into a rift that began to splinter into the frost nearly an inch away. Cavernous, yawning groans strummed through the earth, thin siphons of bluish-white ice twanging like the strings of a violin.
That which was once an infinitesimal crack widened, tree branch-like ravines boring deep into the lake’s frozen surface. A swell of water below throbbed and pressed upwards in response. Slowly, little by little, in a series of piano-drumming cracks and ivory tears, the ground beneath the thief and code-driven titan overturned like a capsized ship, dumping a surging wash of frozen water across the ice.
What followed was a sequence of sloshing steps and swinging weapons, increasing in volume as the group of fighters teetered about the wobbling ice floe before making a swift exit from it. With a humph of disappointment, Jade tried again with another wide-sweeping hand motion, thin spurts of water and snow fountaining into the air as another great chunk of the ice sliced downwards with a roiling crunch.
The pain ripened in her leg akin to a cider-ready apple, tart and heady. Simple biology couldn’t explain it, the little snowflakes burrowing into her wounds like jagged barbwire.
With her blaster gun hooked under one arm, Jade forced herself to trek through the thick drifts of snow. Her hands shifted about as if she were turning a ship’s wheel, eyes trained upon the undulating piers of ice as she raised and lowered them like clockwork.
An arc of motion in only centimeters; one of Jade’s clenched fists formed into a finger pistol. With the other hand, her fingers outstretched towards the earth, she created a spinning dais beneath the blade-bearing warriors before hurdling atop it herself.
Several seconds coasted easily past; electric green sang along her index finger, zapping out in a thin stream of light. It just barely scorched along Colonel’s left cheek, his severe mask briefly broken by an almost human grimace right as he brought his saber around with many bad intentions boiling in his code.
Jade buckled and bent, hiccuping a breath close to her collarbone before wrangling herself back upwards in a rush of green and swaying black. She twisted and rolled around the warrior in some bizarre game of whack-a-mole, mind buzzing with the chase just as one blow met its mark.
Metal grazed against a shockingly green edge as Colonel directed a mortal stab at her torso, only for it to ricochet bluntly off of her blaster gun. It bent and snapped, frosty blue powder bursting outwards in a peal of blinding sparks.
A mournful noise burbled at the back of her throat as Jade watched the remnants of her gun hit the ground, cleanly split in two. It had been a parting gift from her grandfather. And now it, too, was gone.

This wasn't looking good at all. Their plan had been going fine until the thief got stabbed. Not only that but the wolf girl had no weapon. She could care less about to the stupid thief but the girl was innocent. Akame wasn't going to let her die with out taking him on.
It was one on one now, or it seemed like it with the way this fight was transpiring. Akame has the advantage though, Colonel had focused on Jade for too long now. This gave Akame enough extra time to ready her strike that would end Colonel. "Time to sink this big electonic bastard. Don't fail me now legs, you either Murasame." She mumbled to her self quietly, beginning to climb a tree on the edge of the lake. Murasame dug into the cold bark as she used it to scale up the tall tree. "The ice is cracked and Im ready to sink this thing. I've only got one shot at this."
Akame hurled herself up onto a branch where she could watch the below fight. Jade had been finding it harder and harder to get out of the way of Colonel's Buster shots. She ran trying to gain some distance from the mechanical monster, noticing Akame in the tree just barely. Akame gave her a gesture that said, 'I'm coming down'. Akame pointed her finger down to the ground, and Jade was confused at first. After a moment of thinking she realized Akame wanted her to lure him near the tree, which she readily followed.
As Colonel edged closer to the tree, Akame braced herself for the leap. Now he just needed to stop for a second. And the moment came when Jade tripped over a jagged ice block. Colone caught up to her, raising his saber to finish her when from above he heard "Homiru!". Crushed by the weight of Akame's body and force, and Colonel's body, the ice shattered to pieces. Colonel and Akame sank into the lake, the freezing water chilled her. She knew Colonel could survive under water without breathing but hoped that he didn't fair well in the water.
The water was freezing her to the bone already; She needed to get out of here.her foot met Colonel's chest as she kicked off to swim for the surface, while pushing the robot further down. Now the only thing she could hope for is to make it out alive.

Blood.
It was all the thief could see as he struggled to stand after taking a blade to both the stomach and chest. Even though most of the wound was cauterized by Colonel's Saber, droplets of blood seeped like molasses onto the hard, cracked ice, as if one was pouring syrup onto their pancakes in the early morning. He could feel the omnilium seeping from his body, as much a part of his life essence as the crimson liquid before him.
Demetri glanced at his chain mechanisms, hearing the stressed grinding and struggled production of the metal chain links. It seemed that it, too, was affected by his injuries, unable to efficiently use his omnilium to fuel itself. With a huff he cautiously slipped the devices off of his wrists, a solid clunk sounding out as each one hit the ice. In the distance he could hear the striking of metal and the buzzing sounds of green energy as the battle continued without him.
Until, suddenly— all the crashing blows of combat abruptly stopped. Demetri looked sharply up, his vision swirling and tilting sideways from blood loss, and hastened to his feet after clawing uselessly at the smarting ice for several shaky moments. His posture was like that of a stooped beggar, for the wounds to his torso had stretched painfully in a grotesque, contorting fashion that burned raw tears throughout his body, and the thief grimaced as he hobbled over to see that the mechanized titan had truly sunk below the lake’s dark surface.
And, indeed, it did seem that way— the surface of the lake gurgled a few times, a bubble sizzling to the surface and a crackle of electricity flickering beneath the murky, almost ink-colored water. The three warriors stood, panting and clearly worn out from the trying battle. Each one took the precious time they had to really breathe, that is, until the lass with the dog ears gave a quick start.
“He’s—“ she started to say, her shout abruptly cut off as Colonel came up through the ice in an eruption of slush and spraying water. Frost came boiling off of him in waves, his expression contorted in rage as his heavy feet absolutely pulverized the ice beneath him when he swept into a roaring charge straight towards the thief.
It only took a split second for the thief to react, his eyes centered on his attacker as he held out his left hand. Even in his exhausted state, the thief’s focus was unwavering, his mind as sharp as the blade that formed between his outstretched fingers. The two primes locked eyes, now in their own fight, a duel for survival. Demetri sensed the wear and fatigue expertly hidden behind a stern face, which in turn was further concealed beneath metal and programming.
With a flash of sparks, the bionic saber came down upon the glistening Swordbreaker held up by the thief, the blade inches away from his throat. Neither man nor machine gave ground, before each withdrew their weapon, preparing for a vicious exchange of blows that would decide their fate.
With no chains and no aggressive weapon, there was no way to make follow up attacks with anything other than his fists. The saber sliced through the air, splitting it as the thief ducked low, avoiding the move entirely. A bloody fist came up and knocked Colonel on the chin, but he could hardly register it past all the error messages demanding his attention. He had no time to think, only to react; the thief was extremely quick, and allowing himself to be outmaneuvered was unacceptable, a defect in his programming.
With a twist of metal Colonel attempted to redirect his attack, forcing Demetri to flip backwards and take a slice to the back of his leg. Blood seeped onto the floor from both the new wound and the holes in his chest as the thief immediately rushed forward and tackled his target, landing on top of him, his blade on the saber and using his weight to restrict him. With a raised fist, he began to hammer down on the metallic being, disfiguring his nose and causing blue data to scatter in the air. The prime looked up at the thief with his unchanging stare before grabbing the thief’s hand. A loud cruNCH pierced the air as bone snapped, and the thief smashed his face against the prime, both taking injury before he quickly leapt back from him, close to death.
Demetri’s vision was already faltering, his body numb from blood loss and the freezing ice as he struggled to stand against this tank of a being. As a thief he had not much dignity, but he damn well was going to preserve the little he had.

System integrity compromised.
Just what he needed. On top of all the other stresses and damages of combat, now he had water clogging up his internal mechanisms. Frigid water and icy slush clung to and cascaded off of him as he rose slowly, ponderously to his feet after his face-first clash with the thief. He'd been holding his own for a while there, then they'd finally started to work together...
Sparks flickered from the pair of gashes and accompanying impalement wound in his torso.
Now things weren't going so well. He was battered and covered in the minor dings and scrapes of combat, his once-regal cape, symbol of his military status and a powerful combat tool in its own right, all but shredded. He was a haggard wreck of his normally proud self. And that couldn't be allowed to stand. He was a soldier. A professional. Getting made a fool of by a band of thieves. He ground his teeth behind his expressionless facade.
The gleam of suppressed fury in his eyes was colder than the water he had been plunged into. "That's enough." A glow like purple flame flickered to life around his frame, the ragged tatters of his cape lifting up in the faint uprising of power. It grew in intensity, rising well over his head into a brightly-glowing aura of dark violet, flaring like a bonfire. The ice under his feet, already shot through with cracks from the stresses of battle, splintered into ice cubes.
The last of his footing launches him like a bullet from a gun up and forward, out of a cloud of icy fog stirred up by his activity. A crackle of power ran through his blade, sending a wash of bright green light over the surroundings. The thief had staggered upright again, looking broken and all but beaten. He could be disregarded for the moment....no. That would be foolish. He had proven himself to be a wily one.
He touched down heavily and spun on one heel, his saber rising and carving a vicious Z in the air, little more than a green blur. The frosty ground beneath him was splintered again, snow and frozen powder flying in all directions. "SCREEN DIVIDE!" And with a thunderous rumble the devastating blow was carved into the very air on the thief's position. That would keep him more than occupied.
Whirling about again on one heel, he hefted his left arm, holding it out to one side expectantly. It took several seconds of focus, but soon enough the massive frame of his secondary weapon, the Colonel Cannon, materialized in his grasp. He brought it up, leveled it off...and sighted in on the girl with the bizarre dog ears. Target sighted....zeroed in. He locked his knee joints in place, braced himself, and let fly.
A distinct thu-CRAK signalled the heavy artillery shell that was loosed at the poor girl. He had time to see her brief reaction of panic before he turned away, leaving only the tremendous thunderclap of noise as the shell impacted, letting loose its deadly payload of fire and force. The cannon, its purpose done, was tossed aside, and phased out of existence within a matter of moments.
He was prevented from further planned action by the thrice-accursed swordswoman asserting her presence once more, her blade carving a new gash through the plating at his back, severing what little of his cape still remained attached to his shoulders. The unexpected blow sent him reeling, staggering forward several paces. Sparks flickered across his entire frame, and his HUD was alive with multiple warnings about catastrophic system damage and pushing past safety limits. Things he already knew.
He rounded on her once again, his sword a viridian blur as it struck in a vicious arc, first from overhead, glancing off her own blade with a shower of sparks before darting in with a lunging blow from the side. He continued to harry her with a barrage of quick strikes, using every bit of his great strength to his advantage, He was still hard-pressed to actually break through her defenses for a solid blow, short of directly overpowering her again...
THWA-CRACK
A sharp stinging sensation spread from the back of his head. Turning his head, he was rewarded with the source. A roughly fist-sized chunk of ice hit him square between the eyes, in a one-in-a-million shot. He staggered wildly, his sword flailing about in a blind frenzy. A low snarl bubbled up from him, even his calm demeanor finally beginning to crack under this onslaught of foolishness.
Wiping away the majority of the ice, he was just in time to see himself being held at proverbial gunpoint. The canine-eared girl had her hand barely a foot from his face.
Damn.
Bang.
