OKAY SO

There is this thing in the Homestuck fandom known as a Lyricstuck. It is basically drawing art panels to the lyrics of a song.

ANYWAYS, YEAH. I hope you get the picture! So, I was thinking, since we're all hella talented writers and occasionally artists, that maybe we could all pitch in to do a panel of our character for a song. Because I was planning to do these originally all by myself, but I do not have the will to do that.

I'm thinking either a SUPER SAD SONG or a SUPER UPBEAT HAPPY SONG. Only songs where the lyrics are intelligible, please, if you have a suggestion. We could blend two songs together if there aren't enough lyrics, like a mashup.

One line of a song per panel, per character, or you can do a split panel for multiple characters if you don't want to draw a whole other panel. I'll post specifics later, but hit me with your song ideas. If you don't think you can have a panel finished or that you can even start one, ask for someone else to do it.

And, lastly, there is no time limit or anything. It would just be super neat to organize. I'll probably update this later with better explanations because it is super early right now.

Well, I'm not all that much of a music man XD I listen to a crap ton of dark rock, so I'm no help here.

However, I have a suggestion for Lubbock's panel (if someone wants to go ahead and make on for him since I'm hopeless at doing so); I would love his part of the lyrics have something to do with strings, a web of anything similar.

I'd love to do this. Buuuut, I can't draw for the life of me. So I'll just see if anyone else can do it. This is a splendid idea, though.



Oh, and as for songs, Feel Good Inc. Reasons? Well, it just sorta suits the Omniverse in a way, and the Primes' distaste toward Omni and some of the different areas/people of the 'verse. Even the title sort of works, as some groups are trying to make the Primes/Secondaries feel good, and not remember the fact that they're never going back. I'd go into a further explanation, but honestly? I'm too tired. Just listen to the song, ask if you need anything explained. I'd be happy to help.

Umm.... about the edited lyrics... we need to make sure we have a comfortable singer to sing the changed lyrics, and not to mention a mixer to keep the same music track.

Oh, shoot, I didn't even think of that. Well, I guess that one is more or less out, at least with edited lyrics. And non-edited lyrics would be a little silly.

Lol, maybe this wasn't the best idea for a community project, so much indecisiveness. Still, I like Blake's song pick because it can really fit a lot of stories, scenes, etc.

Yang brought this up in the RWBY Skype chat earlier (yes, we do have one :3); the opening song for RWBY, 'This Will Be The Day'. The lyrics almost seem to refer to the Omniverse itself!

Well I mean

It's one song( still being decided upon), everyone takes a line from the song and draws something with their character that reflects those lyrics. I mean, unless you want someone else to draw your character. Which I could do.

Also ahh, that RWBY song is great! quee: And yeah, just doing the one now and then others later would probably be the best idea!
