Jack

[Proto Man]

[float=right][/float]Location/Role: Jack wanders the Pale Moors, Camelot, Tangled Green, and the Vasty Deep, doing his best part to help others and to repair injuries to the land. He makes longer stays in small villages, imparting some of his farmer and rancher wisdom onto people trying to make it in the world. There are also accounts of him protecting people from attacks, although most stories talk of him as a quiet, peaceful man with an unrivaled intuition about plants and animals.

Story: The man known only as Jack has a rather vague history. For all intents and purposes, he came from a rather ‘normal’ world, where he worked as a farmer/rancher/manufacturer/merchant. Somewhat nomadic, he would spend a few years in one young village or farm before leaving it in able hands and moving onto the next place in need of a green-thumb and a busy-body. Although he never married, Jack courted many ladies across the vast world he called home.

At some point, Jack found himself in the Omniverse. Although he was confused as to why he’d be brought to the Omniverse (he considers himself to be a rather plain, ‘normal’ person), he figured that Omni brought him here for a reason. So he set out to do as he did in his previous life—help people. As he preferred the provincial/rural lifestyle, Jack avoided the large centers of civilization, figuring that they probably had the resources to care for their sick and needy.

Since then, Jack has become something of a folk character. Never one to stick in one place for long, he’s been spotted frequently in the duchies and baronies of Camelot, as well as the Tangled Green, Pale Moors, and the Vasty Deep. Always one to help people, he comes and goes when needed, acting for many down-on-their-luck communities as a sort of guardian angel. While rarely violent, he is known to protect the helpless whenever they fall under duress.
