Autumn woke up earlier than usual today. The concert was at 6:00pm tonight. She slummed herself out of bed slowly and glanced at the clock next to her bed. 11:26am blinked slowly in red. "Six hours, hunh? Looks like I have some time to do some gaming and time to get a warm-up practice in before I head to the stage." She stood up and stretched her arms and back before walking into the bathroom to get changed out of her nightgown. Walking back into her bedroom, she powered up her stereo and turned up the song 'The Spirit of Radio' as she got her virtual reality gear ready to use. "Play some fantasy or something? That sounds good to me." The gear slipped on over her head and she powered it on.
Three hours later, the device powers down and Autumn returns to the real world. She sighed heavily and sat up, "the real world is so boring. The only good thing in this world is music. At least if a person dies in virtual reality, they respawn...not like the real world..." Rumbling noises come from her stomach. "Time to get some food then head to the stage." She stood up and stepped over the litter of musical instruments spread out all over her floor. In the kitchen, she made herself some pancakes and bacon. The smells of the food was always great. She was not the best cook in the world, but she could make herself a decent meal. She transfered her food from the skillet to a plate and sat down at her table pulling out her phone. Her concert was on the local news website and she is a featured guest to an uprising band. "Ugh...I'm glorified by everyone...sickening. A person can learn something amazing, and it's like you're a...god." She let out another sigh. "People only come because I'm a young girl who can play a badass guitar solo. Let's go do this then!" She scarfed down the last of her food, grabbed a coat and her guitar and left the house for the concert.
She put in her head phones and played her music on full blast. People walked by her as she strummed the guitar for a little practice. Her thoughts ran wild about how awesome it would be if her guitar could shoot fire like pyrotechnics or something. It took about an hour to walk to the concert stage out in the park. The huge crowd surrounded her asking for autographs and such she did not really care about. After pushing through the huge crowd to the stage, she climbed up and greeted her band mates that she was working with tonight. She never worked with the same band members every night, so she was a call up for fill in spots. She could do it all, it made her a perfect first pick for when a band member cannot make it to the performance. They all shook her hand and thanked her for coming to the performance.
Autumn tuned her guitar perfectly. The performance began and the crowd went wild. The were going crazy for the amazing guitar player. That is until the pyrotechnics covered the band in a cloak of fire, and when it disappeared, the guitarist disappeared. The crowd seemed to assume it was apart of the show, then the whole band stopped playing. The crowd went silent and the singer spoke, "Where'd she go?" The crowd began to boo, they were not amused by this turn.
Meanwhile in the Omniverse, Autumn wakes up meeting Omni. After he explains where she is and what was happening she spoke to him. "So...this is like a real live, virtual reality? You must be the GM then." Omni seemed to just ignore her speech. She appeared in front of the Nexus fountain. "...This isn't Earth. Holy shit. What game did I download to my gear? End process!" Nothing happened as she tried to "Log out" of her virtual reality equipment. "I said, END PROCESS DAMMIT." Autumn's heart skipped a beat. "Oh no...It's just like Sword Art Online! I'm trapped...but the GM said that we would be respawned if we die." She noticed she did not have her guitar. "Alright, lets try this out." She held still and summoned her guitar. "Hehe...Sound, is...POWER!" She strummed a power chord and let off a giant sound wave. Her eyes widened with excitement. "Oh my shit...this world rules!" Autumn 'sheathed' her guitar, by sliding it to her back with the strap over her shoulder. "I can't just go running around and do shit without finding some kind of info. If I spawned here, that means others should be able to spawn here as well. Maybe if I'm lucky they'll know shit about this place." She stood around observing her current surroundings.

Lubbock could feel a sly movement by his leg... as if something was attempting to sneak by. However, his gaze didn't fall from the bionic, alabaster-haired woman before him. The presence beside him... it hosted no ill-intent, at least not towards him. To buy whoever it was time, he decided to make small talk. " So... you're just a figment of my imagination, huh?" He stated the obvious. " I would think that would mean I can erase you... but that doesn't seem to be the case." He mused bitterly, placing a hand to his hip.
The figment chuckled. " That's because I'm not from your imagination... I'm from your memories." She countered the assassin's argument matter-of-factly. " You can't erase memories... you should know that, of all the people here." She taunted the assassin, although nothing but a smile crossed Lubbock's lips.
" But you can fend them off... and that's easier with assistance." He shot back, giving the cue for the large python slithering along the ebony floor to strike. The legless creature sprung upwards, wrapping around the female's neck and cutting off further speech. With a hiss, the snake brought its head around to look at Lubbock, the animal's captive wavering in form, slowly deteriorating into the shapeless body it was originally.
" Well done, Lubbock. Seems that perverted mind of yours is more useful than I originally..." Syura's voice spewed forth from the snake's mouth, and with a grunt he tightened the grip around the figure's throat, " suspected!" The fake Najenda struggled against Syura's iron grip, tearing at the scaly body in desperation. Lubbock's vision began to brighten, and he felt his body begin to become lighter; he was reincarnating.
" Thanks, Syura. Nice to know you're always there for me, both in life and death." He showed his gratitude to the snake with a salute. The world around him became white, as white as the Nexus...
-----
Well, the truth was he was back in the Nexus, falling from the sky as he had upon his arrival. However, this time he was prepared; he slipped the crimson goggles upon his verdant hair down to his eyes and streamlined his body, piercing straight through the air like an arrow... but there was one thing he wasn't prepared for.
A girl with whitish-blond hair stood below him, some object - possibly a weapon - strapped to her back. She was standing right upon his landing point, and all he could do was flail about in a fruitless attempt to changed direction. Soon enough, his body collided with hers, sending the both of them sprawling. To save the girl from injury, Lubbock grasped her and held her close to him, allowing him to take most of the impact. Finally the two slid to a stop, Lubbock's back against the blinding floor, the girl on top of him.
The assassin breathed a sigh of relief, before twitching his hand slightly. He could feel something soft, and gave another light squeeze. W-what the hell is this? He wondered, before lifting one goggle lens, getting a better look. His face flushed red as he realised his dilemma.
Ooooooooh shit...

Autumn looked up in the sky to see something falling. It was...a man with green hair? What the he-" The man crashed into her cutting her off. When the slid to a stop, Autumns chest felt heavy. Her eyes trailed down to see a hand on her. Her eyes widened and her expression turned to an embarassed rage. She shot up and let Lubbock up, and by Omni did she looked pissed. Her fist was tensed up as well.

Lubbock covered his face as the girl backed off, fearing what she might have in store for his insolence. Lubbock skittered backwards and sat on his knees, bowing his head to the girl. "I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to do that! P-please forgive me!" He apologized, his voice unusually high-pitched and unbelievably shaky. "Nice going, Lubbock. You just put yourself on this girl's blacklist." Syura boomed in his head, and he scowled, thankfully hidden by his arms. Syura, I do not want to deal with your shit right now! He retorted, already pissed at the guy, even though he only just came back. I am seriously considering actually summoning you as a snake so I can fricking shut you up...
Lubboc raised his head and looked to the girl, hoping that she'd accept his request... but she stilled looked pissed, and not only that, it was confirmed by her drawing of her guitar, as if it were some kind of sword. He elicited an incredibly loud gulp as he watched the instrument speeding towards his face.

Autumns strap came off and loose of her body as she pulled it off her back. The swing was imminent. "YOU IDIOT!!!" The strings of her guitar met Lubbock's cheek and he fell on his back. "YOU FREAKIN' PERVERT! I OUGHTA KILL YOU!!" It was as if steam was literally coming out of her ears.

The force of the blow against Lubbock's cheek was immense, and produced a sound so crisp that it would go well with any song as a beat if it were replayed. The viridian-haired boy flopped backwards onto his back, his mind spinning in a daze as the twang of the instrument still rung in his ears. Damn, she was feisty... but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't used to having the crap beaten out of him for his perverted tendencies... except this one was an accident!
He rolled onto his knees and stared straight at the ground, calming himself. He took a deep breath before speaking. "I'm sincerely sorry for my stupidity. I would like to ask that you forgive me." He requested, his tone calm and polite. He was desperately hoping to Omni that she wouldn't belt him again...

Her anger slowly turned to calmness. "I am sorry...I should've seen that was accidental." She kneeled over and rubbed his face. She stared into his eyes with anger. "Ever do it again and Ill give you six-strung scars. Got it?" She smiled and reached to help him up. "Rose. Nice to meet you, Mr. Green Hair."

Lubbock felt a soft hand upon his injured face and looked up at the girl before him. She was so much prettier up close... he shook his head as he caught what the girl said. "Y-yeah, I'll be more careful next time." He promised her. Grinning, he took her hand and allowed her to pull him up. "Nice to meet you, Rose. The name's Lubbock." He introduced himself with a somewhat comical bow. "A-again, really sorry about that." He apologized once more before giving a half-hearted sly grin. "I-I guess you could consider yourself lucky. That was my first-" He began, but quickly recoiled at Rose's stern gaze. "E-eh, maybe that wasn't the right thing to say..." He cowered, fearing another blow from the guitar.
Lubbock pulled himself back together and cleared his throat. "So... you new here?" He asked, gloved hand on his hip. "I've been here for quite some time, and... well, I just died..." He informed her, scratching the back of his head lightly. "It's as the guy said... death here isn't permanent... but hell, I don't like the time spent between dying and resurrecting." He stated, shivering at the memory of the recent encounter with assorted memories.

"Nice to meet you" she said with a little bit of cute flare. "I'm glad you have some experience here, I'm not sure how the system works. This place looks dangerous but all I have is my guitar. It'd be nice to have a experienced friend. Maybe you could show me the ropes, or maybe I could show you the strings." She grinned and readied her guitar. "Ever felt a power chord, literally?"

Lubbock wasn't expecting Rose's mood to improve so quickly, so a blush quickly washed over his cheeks when he noticed the dose of cuteness added to her greeting. "I guess you could say I have experience... it really doesn't take too much to get used to." He replied, reminiscing over his time in the Omniverse; all the things he had summoned with Omnillium, and all the different attacks he had used. "Only your guitar, huh? Well... using Omnillium, you could give it some extra boosts... maybe like a blade, or the ability to shoot flames. Something like that." He suggested, waving his hand with each one, subconsciously flashing the wires attached to the back of his glove. He gave a chuckle at her pun. "Don't get a-thread of yourself, now." He punned back and instantly facepalmed. I've been spending way too much time around Alain... He scolded himself. When Rose readied her guitar, Lubbock coward in fear. "N-no... And I'm not exactly sure I want to." He whimpered, covering his head.

Her mind went to the ability of the fire. Just like in the human world, what she always dreamed of: pyrotechnics. She pointed the guitar to the sky and began to strum. "It's time for the pyrotechnics!!!" The fire blew from her guitar like a dragons fire breath. "H-H-Holy crap! This is so cool!" Autumn's emotions flowed back and forth like a swing. Lubbock could tell she was going to be a hand full.

Lubbock lowered his hands and gathered his bearings as Rose's mind seemed to have drifted towards the flamethrower-side of things rather than the blowing-Lubbock's-head-off-with-a-massive-sound-blast-side, and for that he was grateful that he informed the girl of the ability to do such a thing. He reared back when Rose's guitar spewed forth a cone of blazing flame into the air, and he covered his eyes against the blinding blaze. Well... This girl's gonna take a bit of work to teach... buuuut I'll manage, Lubbock mused over the girl's over-enthusiasm. "Just watch where you point that thing... I'm not really find of the idea of being burnt alive." He teased, rubbing the back of his neck idly.

Bleeding, drowning, suffering. The metal machines of war and hate with dual glowing cores marched on endlessly, pounding Khlas back. He could not fully comprehend these... things. They were endless, no matter how many of the Machines of Hate were killed, more would just rise from storms of electric light! Khlas leaned out slightly from behind his cover to fire a shot into the their equivalent of a Vandal, what the Guardians called "HobGoblins". The whirring sound of his Wire Rifle was some sanctuary, he had something to protect himself with at least. A few moments passed before Khlas and the Hobgoblin traded shots, both of which hitting their marks. The mind core in the middle of the Hobgoblin was burned open, spewing out their pure white liquid 'brain' equivalent all over the ground. The machine exploded into parts backwards, revealing that its short stiff neck was merely at a fifth of it's true length.
Khlas awoke a few moments later, Dregs blasting at advancing Goblins. The thicker machines held rapidly firing hand cannons, flinging crimson Darkness that dissolved you from the outside in. It cut like plasma, but it fired it way to fast to be plasma. Khlas felt his top left arm, the Hobgoblin's Line Rifle had burned a hole straight through the top of it. He lumbered up, utilizing the geometric cover of the Vex to raise himself. He used his lower right arm to stabilize himself, while his remaining two arms fired out shots from his Wire Rifle. His shots were slower paced, but they mostly hit true. But then, he heard the sound. The sound of the Great Machine's smite, the sound of jealousy and pain. Khlas looked to other part of the hill they were defending, waiting for that damned Skiff, to see a Guardian rushing at them. He was coated with flames, and held a hammer of burning light. It flung it's flaming hammer, the undead soldier smashing the skull of his Captain with such ferocity he was killed on impact. He watched his superior melt into ash and soot, but then explode a second time killing two Dregs! The explosions of the Dregs burned at his armor, scarring his skin, but he kept on fighting. He threw down his wire rifle, pulled out two Shock Sabers, and charged the Guardian. The light seemed to engulf him for a second, before he realized he was still alive.
A pure white child with a pitch black essence around it to tell itself apart from the Void appeared. Omni looked at him silently for a few moments, before speaking his entire monologue like every other prime. Omnilium was explained to him, the rainbow essence of this world. The dream-like substance bubbled rainbows at him, healing his arm as if he was something not real. This Omnilium... was like the Great Machine. His eternal desires began to ring out, to become a Kell, to have his own House, to remake the Eliksni from the Fallen! Oh the choices and possibilities! Joy rang out, he was finally out of war with the Machines of Hate, and the Undead Ones. Here, he had a chance to finally live.
Water exploded out from the Fountain as a hand clung to the side of it. Fortunately this time it was a deep pond! The crimson eyes of the Vandal looked out, witnessing a woman of strings and a man of green. Flames bellowed from the Woman of String's string, boiling the air like a Cabal thruster jet. He heard the suffering of the House of Wolves on Mars fighting Cabal, trying to enter a base before being incinerated seconds before being able to leave. Trapped within flames and a army of missiles. Khlas silently climbed out of the fountain and clung low to the ground. He sprung like a animal at the two, using all his arms and legs in a graceful scoot around them, looking them down and over. They looked like the Undead Soldiers without their armor, Variks always saw the faces at the Reef. He never tried to go there since only Variks was trusted since Wolves broke their chains. Khlas looked at their reactions to his sudden appearance before speaking. His tone was much more calm and questioning, but it generally just sounded the same.

Autumn stopped her pyrotechnics and looks at the new...person? "...Hi I'm Rose!" She smiled and waved at the thing she could not understand at all. "What is your name?" Autumn held out her hand after sheathing her axe to shake his hand. "You must be new here too."

At the sound of feet leaving the ground, Lubbock spun to face the suspected oncoming threat, slinging a length of wires out on both hands, preparing to restrain whatever danger faced them. It wasn't exactly human... but it didn't seem animalistic, either, like some kind of alien... it had four arms, so a Danger Beast was one suspicion... but with the rather civilised look, not to mention proper clothing and armour, so that was ruled out. Whatever it was, it was neither man nor monster. Noting Rose's passiveness towards the guest (whom Lubbock could not understand the speech of), Lubbock reeled the wires back in, but kept his fists tense and ready to let them rip. "I'm Lubbock... It's nice to meet you..." He greeted the creature, unsure of himself, but also unsure of this third member...

Khlas was still crouched low, his stance there in case of needing to flee... somewhere in this white plain of Light. It was so bright, yet it was hidden from all in his home. Where... where was his home? Moments seemed to pass as his crimson eyes went teal for a few moments, before returning to the bright red. The amnesia set in, almost everything of his world was torn out of him like the Whirlwind. He knew about as much as those ignorant Guardians, but even then Guardians became a haze. Khlas snapped his mind back to this new reality, seeing the woman of strings move her arm.
Instincts of fear and self preservation kicked in, snapping his hands up to protect his face and lower arms. Her hand just hovered there, offered to him like some form of peace treaty. Khlas slowly broke out of his horror with confusion, and looked slowly around himself and the offered hand. He slowly lifted up his four fingered hand, shacking the hand of the Woman of Strings softly. Khlas spoke, but it seemed as if all his words were shifted to this new tongue, but at first all that came out was a click like snarling sound. Khlas slowly said in broken English, "...Khlas, Mistress of Strings. Man of Jade..." He slowly turned his head to Lubbock, awkwardly raising his other right arm to him.
Khlas spoke a little more, walking backwards a few steps and realizing he tapped the edge of the Fountain, "Vandal from House Winter. Nothing I own... Salvage, Scrap... Waste... where can I find?" His body went still, yes he had a thought. If his desires were strong enough, he could have it. He started the ritual, standing still as it seemed to already be part of him. He was creating a large orb, the size of a person, from the Omni inside him. The orb was being build from the frame inwards, though it will take 5 minutes. Khlas twitched softly, making sure he was safe, "You are... friends of Khlas, yes?"

The world that she now sees is ensconced in ultra-saturated mother of pearl; echoes of various incarnations and past lives bleed through the blinding white, glittering with all the subtlety of the chain mail of a fish. A distant null of blue and white cloudlets lingers, a fog covering the back of her mind but humming a tune that she remembers fondly, despite all this time.
Quote:“This is not the world you know.”
Disappointment. Visions of golden towers, golden cathedrals of light, long tapestries draping across the bloodied bodies of her people— her friends, singing praise to their most celebrated of heroes despite their predestined fates. The streets run red with blood. She flees like a coward.
Quote:“This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
Long days and long interstellar nights spent in a congested escape pod. She is alone. She is solemn. Her feet and claws skitter with lamentations best left unsaid. A once green and blue marbled world, now covered in naught but dust and desolation, appears like a bastion of opportunity before her. She dares to hope.
Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.”
The loose wrappings that she garbs herself in are tattered and grey. The desert wind is cold and tinged with grit. She walks on.
Quote: “You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death.”
Her feet carry her faithfully across sweltering sands to a small settlement at the foot of a large temple which once bore the visage of the Speaker of the Vast Croak. Two of the kingdom of darkness are at odds, here, but she manages to settle their quarrel. They are the Wayward Vagabond and Aimless Renegade. She is made welcome.
Then, the adored sovereign arrives, her carapace white as an eggshell. They all offer the regal carapacian queenship and the utmost piety, but she refuses and instead chooses to bestow the crown upon her, the little Parcel Mistress who had aided her so long ago. The coronation is– was grand indeed, under the stars and surrounded by dusky sands, with cans of beans to partake of beside the crackling fire.
Quote:“For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.”
The former queen, her new royal adviser, tells them of her plan. They are all frightened— apprehensive, yet when the new Prospitian Monarch looks around she can see glimmers of hope flickering in their eyes. Her royal adviser’s eyes shine with no such hope, as black and as dull as a scarab’s exoskeleton. It is then that she knows for certain that the Slayer will be a fearsome opponent. They must prepare.
Quote:“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough.”
The clock ticks down. The bud of the Writ Keeper’s flower is due to open. Her former queen and king must surely be blissfully clasping hands at this moment. Reunited at last.
Little does she know that the king’s head has just been sliced from his shoulders in one fell swoop, a dash of red blood staining the temple stone. Her royal adviser soon meets the same fate.
In a flash of green light, the Slayer appears, already stained with the blood of another session of young heroes. His wings are wide and midnight black, bent like the neck of a vulture. He exterminates the Aimless Renegade in a moment; she fails to strike him down with her sword before he makes it to the Wayward Vagabond.
It is when she is clutching her dying friend in her arms that she dons the ring. Green fire rips through her— tears her apart, rebuilds her from the ground up into something infinitely more powerful. Wings ripple out from her back. She goes after the Slayer, Noir, vengeance burning hot in her blood.
Then—
Quote:“I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
Then, nothing. Her surroundings are blank and white. PM fears that she might be dead.
But, she knows that all version of a single carapacian may not expire at once. Whether that is a regrettable happenstance or not remains to be seen; she would certainly not question it now, while she is awake and aware. It would be rather petulant of her to, although she cannot say that she wouldn’t be opposed to doing so at some point in the future. It has always been this way: her beloved kingdom of light destruct and blown across the empty void of space to be devoured by the Outer Gods, playing a game they were replicated to lose.
This, however, is a new situation to be delivered into indeed. She is sitting upon the ground, legs precisely tucked under her and shell luminescent with the light of the Nexus. Her hands are folded neatly across her lap. Shiny black eyes peer out from under the Peregrine Mendicant’s weather-beaten shawl, curious. She is not dead. She has not been reborn into a new session.
The Omniverse. She tests the word, each enunciated syllable ringing through her mind with an odd kind of reverence. It is almost said with the same sort of light reverence she might reserve for, say, Skaia.
She clicks her claws together to herself, thoughtful. There appear to be a good many mitigated objects floating in the barely-discernible distance for her to investigate, yet simply cavorting towards any one of them seems either spectacularly foolish or very brave. She reasons that it would be in her best interests to ask someone about which pathway to take, although she has not caught sight of any denizens of this Omniverse yet.
But wait. What are those peculiar sounds? There is someone nearby, or rather several someones, for she can hear them speaking amongst themselves! Perhaps they will know where she ought to go.
Her carapace clinks as she rises to her feet, straightening the grey tatters that hang about her knees. Once this is done, she turns to regard the others who stand by the small pond-like structure. Within the pale chassis that guards her internal organs from harm, the Peregrine Mendicant’s heart lightens. There appear to be two humanoid beings and a rather large, armored fellow standing a fair distance away from where she stands. Perhaps they are friendly?
The Peregrine Mendicant walks towards them, being sure to slow her approach so as not to startle anyone. She taps the porcelain digits of her hands together as she speaks into their minds, a general air of goodwill in her voice.
Greetings, she says to them, her claws clicking out the words. I am the Peregrine Mendicant. I mean you no harm. Does any one of you know which one of those specks in the distance would be best to investigate?
She's a Killer Queen!
Gunpowder, gelatine, dynamite with a laser beam,
Guaranteed to blow your mind!

"I am friends with everyone, Khlas." Autumn said with a soft smile. "That is, as long as you're not trying to kill me. Then you would have to be my opponent." She watched as Khlas began to start summoning something, then she heard a voice invade her thoughts. Turning around she saw the new being. "Hello, Pereg...pererin- uh, can I call you PM for short?" She smiled a little embarrassed at her inablity to pronounce the name. I'm called Rose, Autumn Ellise Rose, the ultimate instrument player. I can learn how to play any instrument." She observed their new friend. "Hm, there's no way you could be human. What are you? Im sorry but I can't help you with directions, for I have just arrived here."
"I've been neglected, harassed, beaten, and diminished all my life. What motivates me to continue? The glory of proving people wrong. Being worth more than the numbing existence offered me. To be a hero." - Amber

Lubbock stared in awe as the humanoid creature took Rose's hand tenderly; obviously he was just as wary of us as Lubbock was of him. That thought brought relief to the verdant assassin before the creature introduced himself as Khlas, soon after addressing the two as the Mistress of Strings and the Man of Jade... Lubbock would have been confused as to which one referred to him, had the former not been 'Mistress'. He approached the mystifying creature, grabbing ahold of the outstretched limb as a sign of peace also. Honestly, the guy had enough limbs to shake four hands at once; how was he going to have a problem with two?
Khlas seemed to refer to himself as a 'Vandal'. As much as it sounded like the name may have referred to the actual definition, Lubbock pushed that thought away, knowing that it was only the name of Khlas's species. He began speaking about salvage and scrap... maybe that was a luxury where he was from? "You... should be able to get some with-" He began to assist, but the Vandal was already on the case, manipulating the spectacular essence within him. "Omnillium..." He trailed off, scratching his head under his goggles idly. When Khlas asked if the two were friends of him, Lubbock let Rose give her reply before his own. "Of course, Khlas. You haven't tried to attack us, so I would say that makes you a friend." He replied with a friendly grin.
Soon enough, a voice filled his ears... but to him, there was some form of screeching behind it. He was able to receive the message, but the ear-piercing sound was highly unpleasant. Rose and Khlas didn't seem to have felt the same, as Rose went on greeting the strangely clad newcomer unusually casually. "I... Believe that was due to me being here in your head, too." Syura echoed quietly in Lubbock's mind. In other words, the woman's speech acted like a two-way radio with Syura, creating that squealing sound. Rubbing his ears tenderly, the assassin squared up to the newcomer. "It's nice to meet you, Peregrine Mendicant. I'm Lubbock." He introduced himself, ears still sore. Hopefully Syura would find some way to hide himself when PM was talking...

Khlas heard the clicking in his mind, almost as if his own clicking growl was echoed in a softer tone. It was, relaxing to hear some semblance of home. No, it was a warped definition of home, one forged from the echo of the dead. Khlas calmly spoke, "Scrap... waste, life blood of Eliksni. Turns waste into Ether, all I need." The frame and form of the Orb was complete. The machine was growing and forging itself to be a immense orb of life, simplistic at some points, but one that represented the purity of life.
Khlas decided to tell his little story, and spoke, "Where I am from, Servitor is life. Only hope, Undead Soldiers try to kill you. We kill them back, but they come back. They always come back. They stole our worlds, stole our god, stole our future, stole our lives. The Great Machine, their Traveler, made us great. We were Eliksni, beings of the golden age. All were Captains, all were Archon Priests. We stood 10 feet tall, mighty, strong, powerful, wise. Great Machine made Ether, but it left us to die. We lived, but we starved. The common became weak Dregs, the advanced Vandals, the exceptional Captains, and the commanders Kells. Kell, I wish to be. Grow big, grow strong, lead House. The Eliksni deserve life too, we survived hell and Darkness, starvation and devastation. Humans survived less, yet rewarded more, is that fair?" Khlas leaped onto his completed orb, the Servitor, that unleashed a purple aura around it.
"First , the Great Machine. Then, sky fell away. Whirlwind ripped away the past. All honor lost, all hope. Judgment not enough. Cannot keep Wolves from Kings, Scar from Winter. Fell to fighting. Fell to hate...
Found the Light. Too bright in Darkness to hide. House Winter, attack. House Devils, plot. House Kings, plan. House Wolves circle. House Judgment... wait..."
