Subject: A matter of Security
I came across the book of information you wrote called The Monotruth. Considering my relatively recent arrival, it was a very informative read. It's answered a few questions that had been bothering me, and put to rest one major issue that was a source of concern, but it's brought several new issues to my attention, alongside other matters that I don't feel right not attending to.
If everything you've said is true, or if even half of it is true, then I don't need to worry about going home. Means one less thing to worry about, and gives me every reason to focus on making this place better off. It's what I did before I was summoned here by the 'Smiling One', as you call him. I've seen first hand how dangerous and inhospitable the Ashen Steppes are, and if your estimations of what can be done to improve the quality of life are as sound and reasonable for the other verses as they are for this one, I'd like to offer my assistance.
I'm just a soldier. I'm no good at things like science or research, and I can't say I have a head for diplomacy or any sort of action that requires such delicacy. I'm good at finding threats and removing them, and keeping them from rearing up again. It's what I was made to do, in the most literal sense possible. I can't imagine I'd be anywhere near as effective working on my own as with a group with definite goals. If you've got any place for someone with my particular skillset, I'm willing and able to lend my assistance.
Respectfully,
Colonel.EXE
