So, I do voice acting I guess
#1
This is something that I mentioned last night as I was recording some lines for a thing I'd been putting off due to a combination of poor weather and general shittiness on my part, and people seemed interested or something, so I said I'd get a few links together of things I'd lent my voice to if people were interested.

It seems they were, so here we go, strap in for a not so wild ride.

(As a note, I am still very very amateur in this, and probably not all that good, so don't expect to be amazed or anything. It IS something I would, ideally, like to do professionally one day, but that requires actual talent, I believe. And probably knowing how to go about it. It is what it is. :froggonk: )

First up, we have a trailer for a project that I was very much looking forward to. Unfortunately, the particular part I did lines for ended up getting cut due to...difficulties between the dude running the project and other VAs at the time, if memory serves, which is quite disappointing. But it is what it is. I provided voice (with quite a bit of modification and filters because aliens) to a couple aliens whose names I can't remember.

Up next we have...something different. A horror movie made using the sims, involving Leatherface and apple farms, I guess. I'm still not entirely sure whether this was supposed to be straight-up horror or horror comedy, but let's just say whatever it was, it was, and move on. I still had fun recording for it, and it's not a BAD movie, by any means, but it's just....A Thing. In this one, I played Uncle Earl.

And now we move on to Phoenix Wright things. :frog:

First up was my adventure into the lands of Dual Destinies, wherein I got to play Ted Tonate in the first case of the game. It was a lot of fun, and I still find it highly amusing that I got cast for my choice of how to portray Ted's text-to-speech arm computer thing's voice. Couple of episodes here, so strap in. I was still relatively new to things around this point, so my manic shouting and exploding in random madness as Tonate at the end is a little...underwhelming, and not the best it could be. But learning experiences and all that.
Part 1
Part 2
Part 5 -- I also provided a line or two fro the Bailiff here
Part 7 -- Case 1 Finale

Up next we have Operation: Turnabout, a fan case for Phoenix Wright still in production of its final episode as of writing this. It has been both thoroughly entertaining to both watch and provide voice for so far, and I look forward to the conclusion myself, even moreso because I know what happens. :froggonk: That aside, I provide the voice for Captain Adel Renard in this one. Still coming into my stride in the early episodes, but I'd like to think I get better as they go on. A few episodes here, too, so here we go:
Episode 1
Episode 3
Episode 5

And finally, there were a number of other bit parts and small things I did here and there, a couple lines in various things, but I can't recall all of them offhand...none of them were really very good to begin with, so it's not like anything is being missed.

Anyway, that's that, enjoy your day, folks.
