Secondary Saga Hints

Want to better your score? Or just get writing advice? Or maybe you want to share a very serious plot idea you've had for your character? Post here, I'll discuss with you or PM.

My answer will be in clues, and my responses will be up at the end of this phase.

Winter is coming... next round.

Das Zombida could always use a word of advice.

As chronically unsure about everything I do as I am, I would not say no to any manner of assistance in such a manner.

It's not that I feel as if I'm doing anything wrong, per se, so much as not doing right enough. I wish to attempt to alleviate that to some degree, if at all possible.

EDIT: This is, of course, Adam. Alt account magic.

No need to tell us how mediocre we are, we know already, we just have to try harder. Although any help would be appreciated.

Anyway I'll begin to work on these and might have a few up by Saturday night.

Proto! So far you have been doing very well! If I were to suggest improving something I would lean towards character growth. TM is an interesting character, I would love to see more of how his experiences change him, or impact him.

Whatchu talkin' bout!!~

Anyway, you as well have been doing a great job. I don't really have too much of a suggestion for you either, keep doing what you are doing, and I suppose focus on what you want the reader to take from some of Urg's thoughts.

Just keep in mind everyone that I have to be careful what I say in this topic, as it could reveal what we are grading on, so my responses may be varied, and I can't quite say exactly what you should work on, so I will be working on "how" you can do better.

Also, my responses will be limited, as I work all day. I'll do IRIS and Jan now, but I'll have to do some others during my lunch.

No frustrates!

To improve your score I can suggest: add a little more introspection, some of the best things about what intrigue the audience about your character are the little quirks that make them whole. It adds complexity, and makes their decisions seem to have more conviction. Remember to always proof read posts, and don't be afraid to do more action-y stuff!

I love IRIS's concept, but you aren't the only robot!

I plan on including some bases of competitiveness in klaud's review as well, (so stay tuned) but you have done a good job to keep iris as an interesting individual.

I would suggest: always proof read your posts! And don't be afraid to be direct initially, and then add some statistical reasoning into the character (similar to Jan's /jak's advice). Any audience wants to be intrigued almost on a personal level.

>flaunt everything that makes Iris unique

As advice to everyone, and not just Iris
I suggest you involve a crumb of your characters "motive for Omni" in every post.

it's not like I do it or anything Wink

Happy writing you guys, I hope I offered you some helpful feedback. Bolds and separated hints are the ultimate hints

I like what you are doing as Crow a lot.

As for suggestions, I have two things: 1 focus on something similar for what I said to Proto, I'd love to see how internally your character is progressing

Secondly, I'd like to see some action. You are doing well with interacting with other characters, personally I would like to see a bit more "Do" or how your character is being impacted/perceived by the others around him.

I'm kinda with Adam on this one. I feel like I'm not doing a bad job, but it's more of an issue of me doing just an okay job, and I'd like it to you know, be a GREAT JOB DAMN SON YOURE GOING PLACES YOURE A PRODIGY YOURE
Okay maybe not that much but you get the idea. Just basically some things I can work on. Plus, surrounded by so much talent, I sometimes feel intimidated and I'm just like gah what if I'm not up to par.
So basically, could I just get a tad bit of advice?
If you're new to Omniverse Shenanigans, feel free to pm me about whatever piques your interest!

Glad this thread is here! I've noticed you're being unusually nice to Grave, but I can tell that I'm still not doing as well as I could. I'd love to have any advice on how to make sure Geave stays in good shape and doesn't end up falling into his... grave XD

@Gamzee

I see what you are saying, however if I made some sort of guide, there is a chance personal style may be be compromised, and that's your voice! (as well as it would give too many clues.) If you take a look at DA, the expectations were outlined but when he ran it, he never offered extensive specifics, but instead promoted everyone do their best. That's what I am hoping to establish as well.

I will say in this little time I have seen certain members skill level evolve. Which has really impressed me! Don't lose hope. And I'll do my best to offer some helpful advice writing wise to you and Adam as well, in this case. (More hints to come shortly. I'll write some up after work.)

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and having the courage to ask!

(PS! Updated my recommendations a bit) [spoiler]Another few suggestions: Book club (both reviewing and reading your reviews!)

Reading your favorite writers' work! I suggest Protoman, and if he is reading this, he knows he is the shit.
