Character source: Ghost in the Shell X Pacific Rim/Original

Ghost in the Shell Indepth look: it's a Futuristic Setting starting in the year 2033 when a very much divided world full of cyborgs, humans, androids and smart tanks that can think and talk are everywhere and crime is now 60% cyber and 40% physical but all crime can effect most of the population as almost everybody has hackable cybernetic implants or is robotic enough that they are basically walking computers or people who would be dead without thier Robotic half but most of the cyberized people are rich people, War veterans, Lucky Disaster Survivors or buisness men and women and Section 9 is a secret Japenese Police force designed to take down these specialised and nonspecialized Cyber criminals and sometimes Cyber or International Terrorists"

Pacific Rim Indepth Look: It's a Sort of futuristic rethinking of modern time of 2012-2015 where a bunch of monsters called Kaiju are coming up from a portal at the bottom of the pacific ocean and these giant machines are built to destroy them, they are called Jeagers and two pilots use them at once 2 people per jeager minimum and thier job is to take down the kaiju"

Coming from a time after the original destruction of the first Kaiju this Towering Humanoid Guardian is a Mixture of Section 9 Technology and Jeager Weaponry Know how this Android was once a woman the actual Head Scientist behind the idea as she could not find a suitable host Regina (her human name) sought to Rid her world of these New Kaiju and figured with the Original Jeagers busy keeping the world Policed it was her job to Hunt and Kill the Kaiju they could not find as unlike their counterparts these are Stealth Kaiju known for being undectable by anything but Thermals and Sonar but these new ones which spurred the SAAP-J project to completion is what made Regina go from full human to SAAP Jeager the first of it’s kind and with the best current Tech so much should go well she thought but against Kaiju this stuff was proven to be Working against the Stealth Kaiju, she is always in for the Fight of her life this is a woman who sold her Old Life developing weapons to throw herself in the face of danger to defend those who could not defend themselves this is a selfless defender who takes pleasure only in ridding his world of evil it was exactly 1 day ago where a portal in the pacific ocean not filled with Kaiju that she was brought to the omniverse

Physical Description: She is a 12ft tall behemoth and 3ft wide her hulking self is covered in a Jeager Like armor that is expiremental Mix of Section 9 Fake Skin similar to that of Major Motoko Kusanagi, Her armor is courtesy of a Jeager destroyed right before the kaiju’s original defeat it was almost scrapped but instead the Jeager, Chernobyl was broken down and mixed with the fake skin tech to make the Mini Jaeger Armor Body that Regina uses, although she looks normal minus the Armored looking parts of her body and her one Oddly shaped hand this Woman is perfect mix of Section 9 Cybernetics, a Human and Jeager Technology.

Behemoth: as described by the Woman now turned machine Behemoth means a Massivly built Object or organic being of a particular size that is the ultimate in taking and dealing damage and is usually built to take down an almost undefeatable oppenet or defend against a menace or group of menaces essentially a behemoth is the best Defender and Attacker or Sentinal as some might call it

Starting Stats:
ATK: 2
DEF: 5
SPD: 1
TEC: 2

You'll start with 5000 OM total to distribute on Proficiencies, Powers and Moves. You don't have to spend this all, and it might be a good idea to store some for later. Don't worry if you can't buy all the stuff you want right away - once you get roleplaying and earn some OM, your options will quickly start to open up. For now, just focus on the essentials. If you're having trouble picking powers and proficiencies, a staff member can help you out.

Ranged Proficiency (1000 OM)

Enhanced Senses: Basic (1400 OM)

Starting Moves:

Mini-Chain Jaeger Sword (600 OM, Physical Strength): A miniaturised version of the GD6 Chain Sword, this cold weapon nonetheless boasts an immense size, standing at 6 feet in height and being 2 feet wide. Even with its large bulk and strength, the SAAP-J unit has trouble wielding the sword in any quick and agile manner. However, it makes up for this with its power, being capable of penetrating even the most resilient defences.

For the purpose of easier storage, the sword starts off in a loose, chain-like form when it is retrieved from the unit's forearm before its individual segments are brought together to form a solid blade. In fact, if the SAAP-J unit so chooses, it may keep the weapon in this state, wielding it akin to a whip. Though the weapon is faster and more flexible when used in this manner, it also has limited damage potential.

Micro Jaeger Blaster (600 OM, Ranged Proficiency): Though modeled after the I-19 Plasmacaster, this strange and revolutionary weapon differs from its larger counterpart by having two settings:

- Single Shot: After charging the blaster for 12 seconds, the unit fires a massive energy projectile, which takes the shape of an orange sphere. Though it posseses a theoretical maximum range of 4000 yards, the SAAP-J's targeting system can only predict the point of impact with great accuracy at ranges up to 1000 yards; beyond that, the chances of the projectile deviating from its intended course increase by 10% for every additional 500 yards it has to travel.

While immensely powerful, the projectile is also a massive drain on the unit's energy reserves. After firing, the blaster has a 12 second cooldown period before it can be used again.

- Full Auto: Instead of one massive blast, the SAAP-J unit may also choose to fire a series of smaller projectiles, each the size of a golf ball. Though the blaster can theoretically fire up to 200 shots, a long and uninterrupted volley runs the risk of overheating the weapon. As a result, the unit usually fires in 10 second bursts, taking a few seconds to cool down between each volley.

Though less demanding on the SAAP-J's energy supply, the blaster also isn't as powerful in this mode. Additionally, both its maximum and effective ranges are cut in half (2000 and 500 yards, respectively). As with their Single Shot counterpart, the accuracy of the projectiles decreases by 10% for every additional 500 yards they have to cover.

I apologise for not getting to your application sooner. However, next time, please post in the Help Desk if you want to draw staff's attention to your request(s). Don't spam all across the forum about it and certainly not in other people's rosters.

Since your character is your own creation, even if he comes from a universe that is a crossover between two established universes, your character source would count as original. So you should write something along lines on 'Ghost in the Shell x Pacific Rim/Original.'

I'm not sure I entirely understand your description of the Jaegar Sword. What exactly do you mean when you say it does 'only as much damage as whatever it cuts'? Do you mean to suggest that the Sword's strength depends on the material its target is made from? Also, since it can turn into a whip, that would qualify as another function and thus would increase the cost of the move to 600 OM.

The Single Shot mode can't be both incredibly powerful and incredibly fast; it also needs a downside other than just a cooldown period, like perhaps massive energy drain. Also, you should remove the percentage chances; we generally avoid dealing with RNG here whenever possible.

The description of Full Auto also confuses me. Does it fire 2x faster or 4x faster? And again, remove the percentage chances.

EDIT: Oh and before I forget, you need to provide an approximate range for the Blaster.

Thank you for notifying me of the update, G0DFLRE. That said, it would be preferable if you posted any answers or updates in this thread. That way, the rest of the staff can see it as well and post in my stead in case I end up being (for whatever reason) too preoccupied to handle it.

Is the Mini Chain Jaeger Sword a small or a large blade? You say that it's small, but then say that it is 6 ft. long and 2 ft. wide, which is anything but small. :? I understand that you mean that it's 'small' compared to a full-sized Jaeger's sword, but you need to make that more clear in the description. Also, you should remove the whole section about how it does more damage to flesh than metal and the whole 'it only does as much damage was whatever it cuts'; weapons in the Omniverse can't be inherently better against certain types of materials and that whole part only serves to confuse the reader. Just make it clear whether it is a weak or powerful weapon and give it an appropriate upside/downside to that.

When I said that the Single Shot mode can't be both incredibly powerful and incredibly fast, I didn't necessarily mean that you had to balance it out by making it slow as molasses (though, if you want to do it that way, that's fine). XD An alternative would be to give it a charge-up time, so that an observant opponent can notice it coming and try to evade it. But the part about it being a massive energy drain is fine.

I think the whole 'x times weaker/faster than Single Shot' thing you have in the Full Auto description only complicates matters. Rewrite it and just describe it as if it was its own move.

Also, you'll need to significantly reduce the ranges of both modes. Both of those have waaay too far of a reach. Just for comparison, most of the ranged moves that we've approved had ranges of less than a 1000 feet. The longest I've seen is 4000 yards and that was for a sniper rifle (and even then, the round got weaker the more it passed the 1000 yard mark). So think more along the lines of those kind of ranges.

That said, you seem to have a bit of trouble with writing moves. Would it be alright with you if I tried rewriting them for you and then you can decide whether or not you'd like to use those descriptions? Admittedly, this is highly unorthodox, but it would help speed up the process.

So, if I understand this right, Regina is a cybernetic hermaphrodite?

Just for clarity, since you specifically referred to her by the term 'futa', were you planning on including elements from that particular genre or are you just using it as a term for a hermaphrodite?

Ok, in order to finally finish processing this application, I'm going to have to ask this rather bluntly. Is the reason you wish to play a hermaphrodite because you want to openly describe/display genitalia or because you want to include sexual content in your roleplays?

Don't misunderstand, the gender and sexual orientation of player characters is completely up to the discretion of the respective members. It's fine if you want your character to be a hermaphrodite. But I do need to make it clear that you can't use that as a justification for writing content that goes against the rules of the site.

Alright, but do you understand that we don't permit sexual content to be depicted in explicit detail and that any thread with such content should be marked accordingly (either with [Mature] in the title or a OOC warning in quotes, preferably both)? Let me quote the relevant part of our Rules of Conduct:
