Character name: Colonel.EXE

Character source: Megaman Battle Network

Character history: Created by Dr. Wily to be the perfect NetNavi, and he was given to Baryl. After Baryl's father died in war, Dr. Wily removed Colonel's kindness programming and weapons control ability, turning him into a powerful military soldier navi. The programs removed from Colonel were used to create Iris, and a program was devised to cause them to explode if they ever tried to reunite as one.

Along with his operator, Baryl, Colonel put Lan and Megaman.EXE to a test to see if they were strong enough to join Colone's Anti-Nebula Corps, and went on to fight against Nebula, recruiting several other Navis onto the team and eventually defeating Nebula.

He was later seen working for the WWW and Dr. Wily to capture the Cybeasts. After numerous run-ins and encounters with Megaman, he finally engaged in battle and was defeated, and thanks to the words of Lan and Megaman, he and Baryl were able to eventually help them defeat the Cybeasts. Together with Iris, Colonel defeated one of the legendary beasts after a fierce battle while Megaman dealt with the other, but the stress of the battle caused Megaman to be taken over by the Cybeast again.

Telling Lan and Megaman to tell Baryl he had been deleted along with the Cybeast of his own will, Colonel and Iris merged once again, and ripped the Cybeast's spirit from Megaman and self-destructed, destroying the Cybeast at the cost of his and his sister's lives.

It was after this point that Colonel arrived in the Omniverse.

Taking the place of Colonel's right arm from just above the wrise down is an energy emitter that houses his primary weapon, a brightly-glowing blade of green energy. Approximately three feet in length, just over two inches in diameter, and tapering to a needle-like point at its end. It is a useful weapon, equally suited for offense as well as defense, but bears no special qualities and is quite 'solid' despite its energy-based nature.

Colonel Buster -- 300 OM (Requires: Ranged Proficiency)
Colonel temporarily deactivates his saber and funnels the momentary lapse of activity into a charge, firing a 'shot' of energy from the blade emitter. Not terribly powerful, but still servicable as a weapon. Can be fired at a rate of about one shot per second, and retains its full power, such as it is, at distances of up to 15 meters before beginning to dissipate, and by approximately 18 meters if virtually harmless.
