Mafia Day 4

The night passed quickly (lol) and in the morning the town felt yet another loss. First their innocent Mayor, whom they'd killed with their own hands, and now Thaal was dead as well. They found him splayed across the front of the Town Hall, his skin peeled back and pinned to the wood and nails driven through his arms and legs to hold him in place. Beside him a message was written, presumably in his own blood.

"Sorry about that brief respite last night. Don't worry though. We're still here and this is the least of the things we can do to you. Be afraid. With every death, we grow stronger. You'd better choose correctly, lest you all find yourselves nailed to a wall."

Thaal has been killed by the Mafia!

Gonna go ahead and call it a day here.

As the setting sun brought an end to the day, so too did the noose bring an end to Tartaros' life. The Space Marine was as stoic in walking to the gallows as he was in everything else. Death was but another chapter to him, and one which he already knew the end. The rope pulled taut, and the Marine cursed his physique which had kept his neck from being snapped. Long moments passed as eternities as he suffered the slow, agonizing death of suffocation as the town watched on in horror. Soon enough, his pain was at its end and the world went black.

Only 5 town members remained. Their once vibrant home was laid bare by the Mafia and their own hands. Before any could return home, laughter filled the air and their hearts with terror. The remaining innocents looked around for the source and discovered two of their number standing apart from them, a sinister gleam in their eyes.

"Well, I guess this about does it, eh?" Proto Man said with a grin, eyeing the few survivors with the cold calculating gaze of a killer.

"Ha ha! I think you're right, buddy!" Mickey Mouse replied with high-pitched exuberance. "This was almost TOO easy."

"Yeah. It's sad, really. If only some all-powerful rule-master of some sort had thought to give the Town a bit more of an edge, we might actually have had to try."

"Ganondorf should really feel like a heel."

"Damn straight. Well, let's finish off the rest of these losers and call it until next time, Mickster."

"Sounds good to me, P-man!"

And with that, the slaughter began.

The first trial run of Omni-Mafia comes to a close at the end of the 4th day. Technically, it should have lasted through the night, but I didn't want to postpone the inevitable, since I doubted PM or MM would have failed to send me a death notice a second time. I'm sorry the game wasn't quite as polished as it should have been, and I hope that the coming Zelda Mafia is far more enjoyable!
