I'm making a move for Riku known as "Dark Firaga" and I'm unsure what exactly all I'm supposed to explain. Do I have to explain things like it's projectile speed? And if I do how do I describe it? Hard, precise numbers? Or something more vague? It would be wonderful if someone could help me with this move. Here is what I have written for it so far:
Dark Firaga – One of, if not the most known attacks in Riku's arsenal. A spell that he is greatly familiar with as well has the most experience with. Despite it's dark origins it remains one of his tried and true moves in battle. The move is pretty straightforward. Riku releases a single soccer ball sized sphere of black and blue fire at the foe instantaneously from the palm of his outstretched hand, firing the orb of fire and darkness at his target in a straight line trajectory. (wip)
That all I have what else should I describe for it? I'm really bad at describing technical stuff for things so help would be appreciated! Please and Thankyou! :'D

They generally like charge time (if any), what it looks like, how much damage it does, how many targets it effects, can it be used while moving etc. It looks like you've got it pretty much down, I'd just note the damage it does and how draining or how many times it can be used in succession and if Riku has to stand still to cast. Generally something like "medium damage to the target and a few feet around them" is good, not real numbers. As for travel, just something like "moves slowly" or "rockets toward the target" is good.
For comparison, my Fira spell:
Fira (Ranged Proficiency, Area Attack Proficiency)
An intermediate black magic spell, Fira consists essentially of a fireball about the size of a softball. By channeling mana into one’s hand, the user can generate said fireball, requiring around 3 seconds of time to do so. Vincent typically executes this attack while moving, lobbing the orb as one would a grenade. Upon contact the sphere detonates, with everything within a 6-foot radius sustaining splash damage from the resultant pyrotechnics as well as knocking back those nearby. As the attack is essentially thrown, the accuracy of the attack falls as the user speeds up, requiring the user to be nearly motionless to hit anything more than a stationary target. Those closer to the point of contact sustain higher damage, whilst those on the outer limit are mildly singed.
Yours would obviously be different, but yeah.

Hard numbers aren't easy to work with, so allegories are usually a good way to go.
Things along the lines of:
'...slow as a cloud'
'...like a meteor.'
'...like a grenade.' (#Vincent)
'...like a fastball.'
'...like a bullet.'
'...like a bolt of lightning.'
'...almost instantly.'
I think this works now? What do you think?:
Dark Firaga – 700 OM: One of, if not the most known attacks in Riku's arsenal. A spell that he is greatly familiar with as well has the most experience with. Despite it's dark origins it remains one of his tried and true moves in battle. The move is pretty straightforward. Riku stands still and charges up the spell for 4 seconds. Before releasing a single soccer ball sized sphere of dark blue fire at the foe from the palm of his outstretched hand. It rushes at the foe at the speeds of a fastball thrown by a Professional Pitcher. Right before making contact with the foe the orb splits adding two orbs for a total of 3 all together thus increasing the size and strength of blast. The spell deals medium damage to the main target and low splash damage to anything within 4 feet of the attack. The move requires no aim as it simply goes in a straight line and cannot home, thus making it highly inaccurate. The closer the target(s) are to the blast's focus, the more damage is dealt. Those hit by the attack are given 1st Degree burns upon being hit by it. Usage of this attack is limited to two in succession as anymore will severally drain and immobilize Riku for a total of 15 seconds.
Also, thank you for the help Vincent! :'D

No problem! =D
Looks good! The only thing I'd change is maybe the part about burning the enemy, as that kind of thing is typically for RP fodder. Maybe just a 'chance of harsh burns' or something to that effect rather than a definite 1st degree burn. Some players might write that as destroying their clothing or denting their armor rather than outright burning them. Other than that, I'd say it looks good. I'm not staff, so I can't actually approve its use, but it looks fair. The OM would only be 300, though. You wouldn't need that much OM to buy it unless you wanna power it up and make it a Super Move, which would make it 800 OM. You would need Ranged Prof. (shooting), Area Attack (splash damage) and Debilitate Prof. (burns), though.
