Axorn awoke, his eyelids fluttering open ,as he struggled to comprehend what had just happened, when he found himself floating in a dark abyss. The only thing he was able to see was a grinning silhouette somehow illuminated despite no visible source of light. Axorn attempts to speak but can't seem to but it seemed as though it was reading his mind.
Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.
“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
All of a sudden the darkness fades and Axorn finds himself in a vast white landscape in front of a fountain. The fountain has become a dragon with a crown on it's head and a human riding it. The dragon is spewing water out of it's mouth into the pool below.
"Well, that was... interesting to say the least." said Axorn, smiling at the prospect of a new adventure. "Let's do a quick check to make sure everything is in order. Sword..."
Axorn quickly snapped his hand to the hilt of his sword, making sure it was still there. "Check. Comm... Apparently not. Fire..."
Axorn tried to breathe fire but all the came out of his mouth was a measly puff of smoke. "OK, not desirable but I can live with it. Flight..."
Axorn quickly shot up into the air and did a loop with ease. "Check. And finally..."
Axorn began to tense his muscle as if something were to happen, but to no avail. "Well, that's two of my most useful powers down the drain... I hope I can find someone who can explain this to me..."
Axorn looked around him taking in all the gates and the people milling about, he quickly stopped and studied the steel gate and 1. realized that these were portal gates 2. took interest in the advanced technology it would require to build that look on the gate.
"Alright," he said. "I think I'll just sit around here for a while and see if anyone shows up before I try and make my way over there."
Axorn quickly walked around to the other side of the fountain and sat down on the ledge of the pool, seeing if anyone was brave enough to approach him.
"If you truly want to save the world, you'll need to withstand it's flames."

Tries had been wandering for a little bit now, trying to find his way through the seemingly infinite whiteness of the landscape. He had been walking for some time when he had discovered he had managed to somehow loop around from what he thought was a straight line, and wind right back to the fountain.
"That's inconvenient," he said to himself, scratching his head as looked around. He started walking again only to stop dead in his tracks when he spotted an individual sitting on the other side. That was new.
Whether it was out of curiosity, stupidity, bravery, or plain and simple cluelessness, Triest didn't know, but what he did know was that someone else was by the fountain, and he needed to get some answers, even if they were seemingly bigger and tougher than he was. At least it was another individual who didn't look like a human. It seemed he wasn't the only freak here. That gave Triest a strange kind of comfort, one that he really wasn't sure he wanted or not. Either way, clearly this individual whom he had never met before, had a better idea of what was going on than he did. Clearly.
Triest approached the half-dragon, albeit a bit slowly, as he typically did when approaching some sort of perimeter of a closed off area. He tried smiling, and giving a wave, along with a chirpy "Hello!" His four red eyes blinked.
He might as well fake being brave, and not being confused, and not being a little awkward, and the list of a hundred other negative emotions he was currently experiencing. He was just thrown out of some slip-dimension after being taken from his home, give him some slack okay? He wasn't feeling well.

Erik woke with a start, realising he had fallen asleep on the ground next to the fountain. He noticed that the fountain was different to when before he fell asleep. Instead of the simple fountain that he had seen earlier, the fountain now bore a dragon with a crown on it's head and a human riding it. It was spewing water from its mouth. As he looked around he noticed two people on the other side of the fountain, if you could call them people. One, a half man-half dragon, was sitting on the fountain. The other, a spider-human hybrid, was standing next to him. Erik decided to test his telepathy now. He touched the half-dragons mind first. He found that, among other things, he was a draconian and a king, but not much else. He then read the mind of the spider creature. He found that he had become like this from a failed experiment. He was lonely and desperate for someone to walk this void with, so he approached them. His mind raced as he thought of something to say. He nervously blurted "Uuum...H..Hello"

Axorn had been watching a young man off in the distance who had just been standing there, eyes closed, clearly deeply concentrating on something. When all of a sudden, a bubble, colored the same way as the Omnilium, seemed to shoot out of the person's body and form a horse. Hmm... Axorn thought, Interesting...
Just then, a seemingly gene-spliced spider-human hybrid walked up to him, smiling and waving, and clearly cautious as he was walking slowly.
"Hello!" it said.
Axorn ,looked up at him and was just about to respond when he felt a slight itch inside his head, which normally goes unnoticed, unless you're experienced with it. Someone's probing my mind... he thought. good thing I've got nothing to hide. Just as quickly as it appeared, the itch left.
"Hello," Axorn said, wondering whether or not this Hybrid had probed his mind. "I'm Axorn, Ki-"
"Uuum...H..Hello." said a voice from behind him.
Axorn turned around and saw a young man in a blue cloak with a gold trim standing on the other side of the fountain.
"Hello there!" Axorn said, waving. "You mind joining us over here so I can talk to both of you?"
Axorn turned back to the spider-human hybrid. "As I was saying... I'm Axorn, King of the Draconians, and you are?"
"If you truly want to save the world, you'll need to withstand it's flames."

Erik rushed around to the other side of the fountain and stood next to the spider-human hybrid, but he decided to let him introduce himself first as he had just met the tow and didn't want to seem rude.

What were the odds of someone else showing up at the same time he did? A man clad in blue had also arrived at the same time. Triest also felt... something... off... he didn't like it. He wasn't sure what it was, but he didn't like it too much. He must still be reeling from the effects of suddenly being thrown into a new reality. That had to be it, right? If he was crazy, he might have thought someone just touched his mind.
The stranger was soon invited to stand next to Triest, so that he would be able to introduce himself to both of them with relative ease, or he assumed anyways. Maybe it was just so he could hit them both with a single strike if any of them did anything fishy. Hopefully he didn't see any red herrings, or they'd really be in deep water. (I'm so sorry.)
The Draconian soon introduced himself as Axorn, a king. Wait... a king? A KING? Out of all the individuals he had to pick out, he had to pick the most important and possibly powerful one. That is, if he was telling the truth of course. To be fair however, being part-dragon did make it easier to claim royalty.
"I'm Triest, uh... no title... but, you say you're a king? I mean, sorry if I'm supposed to know that, but I just got recently dumped here. I don't really know who anybody is," he looked around, still trying to come to grips in the recent events, "I don't suppose you can tell me where I am, or... just anything really. Maybe after our other friend here introduces himself?"
He paused.
"Do any of you know what's going on here?"

"Yes, I'm a king, king of my race, in the world I come from anyway..." said Axorn. "I can't prove it to you right now, so you'll just have to take my word for it. Triest, I hoped that you would know something, but apparently not. I actually don't know very much either seeing as I was just dumped here as well. I've heard rumors of this place from back on my world but they're not going to be of much help. What I have learned though, just by looking around, is that you can summon things using Omnilium by concentrating the image in you mind for a while. I haven't tested it out yet, but I'm sure I'll figure it out."
Axorn turned to the blue robed human. "So, what's your name?"

Erik was slightly embarrassed about the way he introduced himself, but decided to just take it in his stride. "Uum...I am Erik Vrell" he said to them. "I didn't finish my studies so I have no real title, but I am what you would call a 'psychic'" he hoped they wouldn't react as harshly as the people of his village did. He really didn't want to be tied to a stake and almost burned alive again. He didn't expect them too though because, they weren't exactly superstitious villagers.
He turned to Triest briefly. "He is telling the truth when he says he's a king." He then turned completely around and brought the book he had summoned earlier over to him with telekinesis. "I attempted summoning before and found that it does work, just think about what you want really hard and it will appear, kind of like wishing for something." Then he got an idea. He then concentrated on dematerialising the book. After a few minutes it turned into another glowing sphere. He took out the other one and combined them, but the sphere they created was not any bigger than the other two. 'Fascinating' he thought. "So what do we do from here?"

Well, it looks like Axorn was a former king. That was going to be quite the mess for his homeworld with his sudden absence, he assumed. The sudden disappearance of any political leader was bound to cause some conspiracies at least, and at worst, a power struggle to fill the vacuum. Not much they could do about that, so there wasn't much point in worrying about it.
"At least we didn't get sent here by our lonesome, but it'd help if we got a bit more of a guide," Triest commented.
Just as Axorn was done introducing himself, Erik stepped in and introduced himself. That feeling he got earlier started to make a little more sense now, seeing that a psychic was near them. Not that Triest would say anything, but he did frown a little bit. To add more fuel to the fire, was that Erik confirmed that Axorn was a king. Either it was blind faith, or he really did reach into their minds. He did show something incredible though. Well, at least to Triest it was. He had never worked with Omnilium before.
After a few minutes of undisturbed concentration, the book he had been... transmuted...? into a very colorful orb.
"I've gotta try that out," Triest would say, staring for a little bit, "Everyone can do that right? Might need to make a few things that I left back home," he paused, "Later I suppose. I want to make sure I've got the idea down first. Sketch it or something... wait... paper might actually work..." he trailed off, completely missing Erik's question of what to do next.

"Ahhhh..." Axorn said. "So you were the one probing my mind. I can't really blame you, waking up in a mysterious world with no idea of whether the intentions of the people around you would be harmful to you."
Axorn quickly turned to Triest. "If you wanted proof, there it is." he said.
Axorn turned back to Erik. "I was actually planning of going to the portal gate over there." Axorn pointed towards the Coruscant gate. "I'm interested in the kind of technology they would have there, looking at the design of the gate. I'm assuming we'd need vehicles to get there quickly, considering how far away it looks."
Axorn quickly turned towards and empty area and started concentrating on building a hoverboard.
"If you truly want to save the world, you'll need to withstand it's flames."

Erik turned towards the gate Axorn mentioned and his eyes lit up. 'Wow' he thought 'I could learn a lot from there.' He also knew that Axorn was right, he would need a vehicle. He didn't have much experience with vehicles, often opting to walk and only rosa a horse on a few occasions. He decided to materialise one anyway. He drew the glowing orb out once more and concentrated on summoning a horse. It was bigger than a book so after a few minutes, it was still forming. 'This could take a while.' He thought.

Well now he was sure. That psychic really did poke at his mind. Triest still wasn't sure how he felt about that, but decided to shove off that thought for the moment. Everyone's attention had turned to the creation of vehicles for transportation. He felt kind of dumb for not thinking of that earlier. He could have probably already scouted at least half the area by now had he thought to do so. He guessed now was the time for reconnaissance then.
"Vehicles? That's a big jump from not knowing anything. Oh well, what could go wrong?" Triest instantly regretted those words. He would soon brace himself for the hilarious display of making something incredibly broken and dumb.
He stepped a little ways from the other to allow him some space to work with. He looked at the... well he still wasn't sure where the floor actually became... floor... and began to try and visualize a vehicle. He felt something within himself, but as soon as was about to cheer that he had done it, the feeling vanished. Well, this was going to take more concentration and time than he thought.
He set to work, trying to mold a vehicle of his creation that would be at least, functional. He had seen a few dune-buggies around. They were specifically designed to traverse over sand, as their name might suggest. Well he wasn't sure what was behind that gate, but he might as well stick to what he knew.

Axorn kept concentrating hard and then all of a sudden, he felt calm, serene, and at peace while his mind wandered through the hoverboard design filling in all the fine, little details. Axorn wasn't quite sure how long it took, but all of a sudden he opened his eyes, and there, in front of him, was the steel-plated hoverboard he had imagined.
"Well, that was easier than I'd expected." he said.
Axorn looked next to him and saw that his two comrades hadn't quite finished their vehicles yet and decided to wait until they'd finished.

After about five minutes, the horse Erik was summoning was complete. It was a grey mare from the stables near his home, which the psychics he grew up with rode on. The horses were bred to react to psychic messages from their riders, but Erik was unable to replicate this. The horse was stubborn at first, content to just wander aimlessly while Erik sat on it impatiently. After a few minutes the mare decided to obey him and he was able to ride it properly. Erik still had trouble though, as he had only ever ridden the psychic horses and wasn't familiar with steering regular horses.

The image in Triest's mind was strange. It was clearer than anything else he had imagined, and was almost perfectly translated into the real world, although it hadn't taken actual physical shape. It was kind of like a blueprint that only existed in his mind. Unlike his companions, it took him the longest. This was new to him, and he wanted to be sure of what he was doing.
8 minutes passed, and the dune buggy was complete. Heck, it even seemed like it was stained with the sands from his world, and perhaps a little scrapped together as well, as most things were back home.
"I hope I wasn't too authentic. Otherwise, there's a good chance it won't even run."
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea, but he hadn't seen many other vehicles during his lifetime. At least ones that functioned. Things like those were hard to come by in the post-apocalypse.
Triest gave the vehicle a kick, and then proceeded to attempt to start the vehicle three different times before it roared to life. Luckily, he had driven a few of these before when he got the chance. Well, more like stole from someone, but they shot first. He had an excuse.
"Everything looks A okay over here. Let's go!"
He hoped the car wouldn't spook the already uncooperative horse.

Axorn saw Erik create a gray horse after a few minutes of waiting.
"Interesting choice," he said. "simple, but gets the job done. I like it!"
A few minutes after that, Triest finished his buggy.
"Nice vehicle," Axorn said. "although it may not fit through the portal. You're going to have to hope for the best!"
Once Triest's buggy roared to life, Axorn hopped on his hoverboard expertly.
"Next stop, whatever lies beyond that portal!"
As soon as Axorn said this, he pushed down with his back foot, causing the back of the hoverboard to sink, and then quickly released it, causing it to push off the ground and take off.
"If you truly want to save the world, you'll need to withstand it's flames."

Axorn had finished his hoverboard, not that Erik knows what it was. He just saw a floating silver board with Axorn standing on it. "What is that..." Erik wondered out loud. Then Triest finished his dune buggy it was a little more familiar too Erik, resembling a carriage that would bring supplies to his sect's isolated base of operations, but this had no horses. "Your methods of transport are very new to me" he said to his two companions. His horse then snorted and tossed its head. Erik could sense it's impatience.
Axorn started up his hoverboard and Triest revved his dune buggy. Erik knew they were moving out and kicked his horse in the flanks like he had seen others do. The horse reared up, almost throwing Erik off in the process, then started to trot where in the direction of the gate Axorn waned to go.

Triest shrugged at Axorn's comment, "I'll just re-build it if it doesn't fit. Otherwise I'll zip on through." If the gate wasn't much bigger than your standard tunnel in a typical city, then the car would fit just fine. Otherwise, well he'd just have to deconstruct the thing.
It was only now that he had the time to survey the others' choices of vehicles, since he had been concentrating beforehand. Axorn had some kind of hoverboard, and he looked like he knew how to use one too, which made sense. Erik on the other hand had something completely primitive. Just your typical uncooperative horse.
"Hold on tight!" Triest smirked, as he hit the gas.
The buggy sputtered.
"Well, what a load of-" he was cut off as the vehicle suddenly jolted forward, slamming Triest to the back of his chair as it took off, following Axorn from a safe distance.

Axorn snickered at Triest's buggy problems, watching the whole thing while continuing to move in his current trajectory towards the portal gate.
Axorn turned around and instantly realized he was heading straight for an innocent civilian.
"Woah!" Axorn said, swerving out of the way while the civilian shook his fist at Axorn as he passed.
That was close... Axorn thought as he passed. Good thing I got out of the way in time.
Axorn slowed down a little bit to allow the other two to catch up, before accelerating so they were at the same pace riding side by side.
"So, Erik, Triest, where are you guys from?" Axorn questioned. "We have a few minutes before we get to the portal, so why not get to know each other better?"

Erik looked around and saw a few other gates and realised that his horse was moving faster than any he had ridden. 'It must be this new world.' He thought to himself. He looked up and sighed wih relief as Axorn swerved just in time to avoid a civilian. "So, Erik, Triest, where are you guys from?" Axorn asked. "We have a few minutes before we get to the portal, so why not get to know each other better?"
"I come from a small village in the mountains." Erik said. "There are three types of people in my world, I only knew about two before my powers first appeared. Regular humans, which I thought I was up until I was ten, psychics, which I only learned about when I was about to be burned alive, and magic users." An expression of bitter contempt crossed Erik's face when he mentioned magic users. "God how I hate them. Wizards, witches, sorcerers, mages. I hate them all." Then his face turned neutral again. "The temple where I was trained in many psychic powers was higher into the mountains but we sometimes went to a secondary base a few miles from the base of he mountains." Erik smiled fondly at the thought of his old sect. "I loved it there, and it pains me to think that I will never finish my studies and reach my full potential." He sighed in sadly and turned to his two companions. "So what about you two?"
