It is your responsibility to keep an updated copy of the map as squares become danger zones.
The island is broken apart into squares. Each square is one square mile (ignore the scale on the map, I can't photoshop to save my life).
Elevation, however, is in meters.
The Island is something slightly less than tropical and mostly forested. The forest is home to a variety of wildlife, most of which isn't life-threatening, although there are some wolves and bears. It is surrounded by a vast ocean. Aside from a lake and a river that runs down from the mountain, the island has very little in terms of fresh water (there are a very tiny ponds and streams). There are two lovely, white sand beaches on the island.
The island contains many buildings and settlements that appear on the island. There are also various shacks and buildings around the island that are not on the map (this is to give the player a little creative freedom). All of these buildings and locations, despite appearing as if they were lived in, are abandoned. Repeat - there is no one on the island aside from the contestants.

- Diner (C5) - A beautiful little dinner nestled between two large hills. The atmosphere evokes a very 1950s feel.
Mill (E7) - A rustic windmill nestled in the hills before Mount Blair.
Clinica (E6) - A rural-looking clinic, like something you'd find in a developing country placed there by a first-world country.
School (G3) - A large high school with a very suburban feel.
Park (H4) - A park built around the lake. Designed for kids and their families, complete with both gazebos, areas for grilling, and elaborate wooden playground equipment.
Dante Beach (F2, F3, E3) - Unlike the other beach, Dante Beach is a tourist site. The buildings here include a fancy restaurant, an upscale bar, and a small building that houses lifeguard equipment.
Dante Town (E4, F4) - Also part of F5. Dante Town is a highly industrialized town with all the amenities you could ask for! Cinema, bars, Walmart, Taco Bell!
East Blair Tunnel (E6) - A large tunnel that cuts through Blair Mountain.
Blair Village (G7, H7) - Unlike Dante Town, Blair Village has a much more rustic appearance and is more spread out, with only seven little buildings.
Mt. Blair (G7) - The tallest point on the island. From Mount Blair, someone would have a lovely view of the island.
Lighthouse (C10) - Your standard stone lighthouse, nestled far away from civilization.
Island (G9, H9) - A little island about a hundred yards off the mainland.
