This is a continuation of a conversation in the Scramble OOC thread.
So, while I appreciate all of the information in the 'About the World' thread, I hope that it can be understood that everything is explained very vaguely. So, with that said, can I get some clarification on summoning and Omnilium and all that?
If I want to summon goons, how do I do that? How long does it take?
Do I need Omnilium to create things, like let's say (just completely hypathetical)...a shack. If so, how do I obtain Omnilium? If not, what's the point of finding Omnilium?
I apologize that I require a 'for-dummies' guide.
Thanks.

Good questions, I'm going to add this to the in-universe details and I'll update you when I'm done. Might not be today because I've gotta crash soon.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the
'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters
Samus Aran or
Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Just to clarify, you said 'everything' is explained very vaguely. Is there any other stuff besides required amounts of time and omnilium that you're unsure about specifically? I'll do my best to answer. Extraction is explained in the summoning spiel:
"Summoning and extraction are both processes that seem alien to all, and yet instinctively understood as soon as they need to be used. To summon something, a Prime simply visualises what it is they need and focus on the Omnilium within themselves. If they do not have sufficient Omnilium, a kind of jarring feedback occurs - they know instinctively how much is needed. A summoning takes time and focus, especially for high-cost items. Most items take several minutes, whereas items of great size and value take much longer. When summoning, the Omnilium emerges from the Prime in a kind of rainbow bubble, flashing through colours until it fades to reveal the desired item. Improving ones own powers is similar, except that the bubble forms a kind of coccoon around the individual or piece of equipment being improved. Extraction is a similar process requiring time and concentration, except that the bubble of Omnilium emerges from the item being extracted, which gradually becomes dessicated before vanishing entirely. Some sadistic Primes choose to kill their enemies using this method, even though killing a Prime conventionally produces exactly the same end result of Omnilium."
I think one way of improving it would be to give headings so people can find the information on the relevant details more easily.

That helps a lot with the in-character stuff about summoning items. So if I wanted to summon a shack, it would probably take awhile to eventually create one from scratch. Do I NEED Omnillium to be able to do it? If so, how would I go about obtaining it, and if not, what is the benefit to trying to find some?
For summong secondaries, is it something I can do it with the snap of a finger or does it, too, require time, energy, Omnilium, etc etc?

I had an idea for Proto Man to have like, really vivid dreams/nightmares about his time with Wily (yes he dreams, he's a weird sentient robot, deal with it), and in the process, his subconscious inadvertently summons some of the Robot Masters (they would function as secondizzles) into the Omniverse with his OM. Would this fly? I figure it'd fit the whole 'sad, lonely kid' motif a little nicer.
