Update to the Rules
#1
I would like it if a Staff Member were to copy the max spendable OM for NPC Primes and add it to the rules for the various levels. Having looked over it twice, and found no details relating to such, it would make things easier for members if such info were there.

Quote:NPC Strength and Interaction with Players
Prime NPCs may either be up to your own character's level, or Level 5 if your character is Level 5 or below. When running larger storylines you may request special permission for stronger NPCs. Regardless of these limits, NPCs are not in place to give your character an in-character advantage. That's what Assists are for. These limits are in place to prevent 'NPC inflation' among newer players and for worldkeeping reasons.

While we don't want to put too many limits on your creativity, NPCs are not there to give your character a game advantage. For example, you cannot create an NPC with a base and then use that base for yourself, circumventing the need to buy one. You cannot create artefacts to give to your NPCs. You cannot make them members of a Faction without approval or otherwise use them as a way to gain cheap influence or fame. If you have NPCs act as a 'deus ex machina' for your character in competitive situations, staff will step in to stop it. Etcetera.

Is that the information you were looking for?

Got rules page open? Find Max Level you can create via NPC tab. Open Character Growth. Look at OM needed for level above max level. 1 OM less is your Max.

Level is tied to OM, so you do the math.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

And a quick check at Character Progression will tell you how much OM that is: http://omniverse-rpg.com/characterprogre...rogression

Manual's there. Go read it, chief.
If you see me around and you got questions, just give a shout. I'm happy to assist.

Yeah. Wasn't on the main page of NPC information when I gave it a look over.

The number you're looking for is 22,000 OM. That's what a level 5 has access to.

EDIT: This is what happens when I alt tab for too long.

Actually, a level 5 has access to 28,999 OM
