Celestia had been so focused on her allies and on analyzing their enemy, particularly given the sudden changes that had came upon both, that she was not entirely prepared to defend herself from attack. As soon she figured out what was happening she conjured a shield around herself, which was also just large enough to cover Revan from where they'd set up to attack, but she was not fast enough block the entire attack and a few rogue pages got through to scratch up the two of them.
The large, firey bubble which now encircled them wouldn't hold forever, but it should at least blunt the attack, and hopefully buy Celestia and Revan some space to think. In the face of her companions' boosts in strength the judge redoubled his own efforts, entering a sort of battle fervour as he replied to the primes' efforts in kind. While Celestia strained to maintain the shield, she considered the current situation.
She was still, essentially recovering from her entrance into the Omniverse. She could probably deliver an attack which could stagger the judge, and she might even have enough in her afterwards to do one more, but then that would be it and she would be left spent. “The judge won't last much longer,” she said aloud after a moment, though she was speaking to no one in particular, “and this won't be the end of it.” She was certain that this threat would not end at the courthouse, there was a fundamental piece missing. If nothing else, what Dr. Regal had said implied the whole Omniverse was being affected. Something must link them all together. Was the courthouse enough to do that? She didn't see how, at least not as it was currently.
That didn't mean she would be sitting out the fight. The shield she'd formed was beginning to crack, and so she let it fall, leaping upwards as it dissipated. She was hardly the most impressive prime in the room, which was something she could make use of. The judge would be more focused on the other primes, but Celestia would change that. As she neared the ceiling she charged her horn, and a couple seconds later sent a molten ball of rock down toward the judge, aimed so that her allies would be shielded by the Nebula leader's own form when it detonated.
The judge wasted no words on her, instead simply raising his whip, wreathed in shadow, and swinging. Celestia anticipated the response and brought her shield bubble up again, but the force of the impact was still enough to knock her into the ceiling. Her shield cracked under the force, only able to blunt the impact, not absorb it completely. That stung, and she'd she'd need a moment to get her bearings after the blow, but she was smiling. For a short, but critical moment, the judge's attention was focused upward, rather than at his adversaries arranged around him.

The Judge seemed to be faltering, powerful but unable to keep up with their combined attacks.
He stood behind Celestia's shield considering his next move with what little time she had bought them.
Celestia he knew was struggling to keep the shield powered and he feared that she was going to fall under the strain but then he saw her let the shield fall a moment early using it to project her angelic form into the sky.
Sure enough a meteorite burning intensely soared across the room slamming straight into the judge forcing him to notice her and thus decided to send his whip flying her way. He wasted no time in taking the opportunity to leap into the air and a few moments later plunging his blade into the chest of the egotistical behemoth cutting through armour and wires sparking electricity. Jumping back and withdrawing the blade he fell backward onto the ground some of the electricity had passed through his sword and into his body causing him to seize up.
"You are a poor excuse for a judge." Sald Revan shaking off the numbness as he rose once more to his feet.
Revan knew this had to end one way or the other as he was tiring quickly and his own speed had certainly continued to decrease over the course of the fight, his wounds reminded him of how much blood he had spilled already to get to this point.
The whip glowing with the dark energy of Nebula found Revan wrapping itself around him as he struggled in its tight embrace of evil. Struggling to free his sword and his hands he stabbed his weapon into the arm of his opponent forcing the Judge to drop his whip if only for a moment. Revan did not fail to take advantage of the moment of weakness and though barely standing himself he gave one final diagonal slash before falling to his knees, luckily Judgeman was thrown back slightly and before he could reengage the cloaked warrior he found himself fighting against the powerful force that sought to exorcise it from this world.
"Celestia, are you alright!" He yelled as he did his best to wobble on weak knees to where he had last seen her.
Some of the forces of Nebula in the crowd seemed to notice him and cheered on the pain he was now going through, as much as he was tempted to leap into the audience and begin clearing the room as suicidal as that would probably be to do alone finding Celestia was more important. Surprisingly Celestia came out of the smoke mostly unharmed apart from a couple extra scratches and hoofing it over to him helped to once more assist him back to his full height.
"Let's end this now, together." He said summoning any remaining strength he had.
He charged one final time with Celestia galloping by his side as she began to fire magical blasts from her horn attracting the Judge's attention. Turning around to face the two primes the judge had reclaimed his whip and was once more preparing to strike them with its dark energy. Books began flying toward them but Revan swung his final adrenaline allowing him to cut through them allowing Celestia's magical blasts to continue on through hitting and causing the Judge to fall back.
Finally upon him Celestia sent out another large meteorite that hit the Judge at the same time as Revan brought his sword down for a final strike though he knew it probably wouldn't be enough to topple the giant.
Celestia's ability shot smoke and fire everywhere forcing her to remain back as Revan plunged his sword into the Judge's neck before being surrounded by the flames around him as he moved his right arm to cover and protect his face from the heat and light.
"Revan!" Shouted Celestia as Revan's body went flying back slamming into the hard ground no longer holding his blade.
"A fool!" The Judge said with a sadistic smile on his face as he pulled the lodged sword from his neck and threw it to the ground.

The innocence from within the chosen warrior was stirring, something was off, the connection between primes started to grow weaker and weaker until finally the body expelled both primes back to their original forms.
"What happened?" Ash questioned the event as his hand went over his body to check if everything was still in order.
Kanda looked as confused as his partner, "The synchronization of the innocence seemed to be off balance, forcing the fusion to become undone prematurely." The exorcist was trying to figure out what exactly happened with the powers bestowed upon him.
Revan wasn't interested in the swordsman's deductions, "Stop daydreaming you two! This isn't over yet!" He was right, Judgeman looked more powerful as than before. The lawful program's power increased tremendously. Even so, it was no excuse to back down now. Celestia was the first to encounter the Judge's new found strength, being knocked into the sealing she had the dark force's attention. Revan took it upon himself to take the second offense, combined with Celestia the duo made a distraction the duo could use.
Kanda couldn't let this opportunity go to waste, "This is our shot, Ash, go in and I will cover you." The Chainsaw warrior gave Kanda a look, "Cover me? How? Are you going to look angry at him from a distance? Perhaps call shout some swear words?" It was clear he wasn't a big fan of the plan, seeing the powerful state the judge was currently in. While Ash was critiquing the plan, Kanda was preparing his next weapon, wounds appeared on his left wrist, blood starting to ooze out. Combining with the innocence power it crafted his stigmata weapon, the blood bow. The crystal like weapon glistened with a shade of dark blood red when formed in the exorcist's hand. Ash, witnessing the summoning of the weapon pulled a painful expression upon his face, "Right, go in you say, sure thing. As long as you cover my ass." Ash decided to rush into the madness, the flaming papery projectiles were flying across the room, it was difficult to evade them, but now it was time to make good on his word. Kanda took a steady pose and aimed true. An arrow of pure energy was created as he pulled the string back. With deadly precision he let the arrow soar through the sky, nearly missing Ash's head into several scattered projectiles from the Judge, preventing them from hitting his ally. The charging prime turned his head quickly to check whether or not the general was actually aiming at other marks than himself.
Kanda's sharp eye noticed the Judge's attention started to shift towards an unfavorable position, he had to act fast or Ash's charge would be noticed. "Tsj, idiot." The noise of discontent was released from his lips right before he made his move. Putting in every bit of speed his body possessed he bursts from his current location towards the enemy, putting himself in the line of sight. A quick semi-well aimed shot got the attention from the judge. "There shall be order in my courtroom!" The program roared loudly. With his powers he guided the flaming projectiles towards Kanda. There was time for one more shot before he had to defend himself.
'This better be worth it Ash, hurt him, Bad.'
Another arrow blasted passed the scattering papers, finding a path between the projectiles, going straight for the judge's face. The arrow was caught and shattered with ease by the Judge. But it didn't matter, Ash was in position. Kanda grinned as he watched what happened next.

“ OVERRULED.”
Judgeman sneered as the energy dart shattered, his gaze snapping to the approaching gunman. The sound of Ash’s footfalls grew further and further apart as time slowed to a crawl, the scattered pages of the Judge’s books finally freezing in mid-air between the two. The arbiter drew back his umbral whip with a flourish before throwing forward a vicious lash. The whip caught Williams around the neck, drawing tight around his windpipe as the bloodthirsty lawman pulled tight. His foe’s eyes bulged as his breath caught in his throat, the next instant finding himself lifted from his feet and dragged airborne into the Judge’s waiting fist. Steel met bone with a dull thud as what remained of the air in his lungs was forced painfully out.
Kanda was soon on his feet, charging to aide his fallen comrade. Judgeman snarled as the exorcist approached, drawing back sharply on the handle of his whip before snapping it powerfully forward. Ash was taken along for the ride, flung like a ragdoll into Kanda’s midsection. The two who were once one found themselves in a pitiful pile among the shatter benches of the courtroom.
“Now!”
Judgeman rounded at the cry, turning in time to spy Celestia raise her horn skyward, calling down a pillar of flame upon him. The pile of book remnants at his feet caught like tinder as the flames seared at his steel hide. Chara saw the window of opportunity and took it, glitching forward to deliver a flurry of crimson blade slashes. To her surprise a fist erupted from the flame column, catching her in the side of the head with a crack. The girl was knocked from her feet, landing unceremoniously in the jury box among the tittering darkling jurors.
“You will fall!” Revan cried, bringing his longsword to bear. With Celestia’s diversion now beginning to falter, he dashed forward to provide distraction while she readied another strike.
“My word is law,” Judgeman growled, summoning up a manhole-sized book before him. “It’s time I... throw the book at you.” In an instant the book tripled in size, hovering in the air for but an instant before rocketing toward the swordsman with the speed of a locomotive. Noctis dodged left, though was unable to completely exit the path of the incoming tome. The hooded man caught the spine across his left shoulder, knocking him from his feet, spinning like a corkscrew.
As her companion fell to the ground to the sound of darkling applause, Celestia let loose a molten meteor from the tip of her horn, aimed squarely at Judgeman’s chest. This time, he was far too close to the attack to evade. She was sure that her foe would be unable to avoid the strike. That was, until the towering arbiter vanished from view. The alicorn felt a gasp escape her equine mouth as a steel boot caught her in the flank, sending her sprawling.
The liberators lie upon the floor of his court in various states of defeat. Judgeman allowed his rage to fade, for these interlopers would be of no more concern to him. He strode confidently across the shattered tiling, darklings chattering as they swarmed upon the wounded heroes. Judgeman raised a hand as he stepped through the portal.
“Court is adjourned.”

Judgeman has absconded through the portal to Nebula space. There are several darklings left behind to stop you from immediate pursuit, but they aren't any threat at all, and should barely slow you down.
Dispose of the distraction and follow him through the portal. Your final challenge awaits!
There is a prize waiting for you, for surviving the magistrate's wrath. One person may retrieve Judgeman's Gavel, which is a move with the following statistics:
Judgeman's Gavel
A large hammer, about two feet from the end of the handle to the top of the bolt securing the striking head to its haft. Composed of dark, polished wood, and reinforced with an inner metallic core. Etched and inlaid with designs of intricate silver and gold, and thin, spidery veins of darkness. It is light and extremely sturdy, but surprisingly powerful. Serves as a powerful bludgeoning implement, and can be used to make a special crushing attack, which will knock a foe completely flat and leave them dazed and in pain for several seconds.
Everyone has five days to progress through the portal. There are no word or post limits this round. When one of you steps through the portal, the description for the scene will be provided. Best of luck. You're almost there.

What just happened?
Sprawled out on the ground, Celestia was contemplating this question as she recovered. The dark judge had caught them all by surprise, and a sudden burst of aggression caught all of the primes off guard to see them sprawled across the ground in various states of injury. Where he had found the sudden reserves of strength, after struggling against five primes for as long as he did, was a mystery.
And just as suddenly as he'd gained the upper hand, the judge left. Leaving the primes scattered around the destroyed courtroom, he had abruptly turned and left through a portal behind him. Celestia supposed there were still a few of nebula's minions scattered around the room, but had he really thought that would be enough? The judge didn't seem to be in any particular hurry as he left. What made him so eager to leave, before he had fully seen to the party's demise?
From her position on the ground, Celestia could see a couple of the aforementioned minions approaching her, as she was sure others were approaching her companions. From the fanged grins on their faces, she could only assume they were expecting easy prey. Celestia watched them approach, unmoving but preparing a spell. When the creatures were almost on she released it, and a flaming barrier encircled her one more. The creatures recoiled with a screech, both singed, and as they stumbled backwards Celestia used the opportunity to struggle to her feet, still recovering. It's purpose complete, she allowed the fire bubble to fade, and finished off the now prone darklings with a pair of quick, precise jets of flame.
Celestia surveyed the room. The battle had done a number on it, with cracked tables and debris from chairs scattered around. Looking up briefly she could even see large cracks where she had impacted the ceiling. Only two things she could see had remained intact. The judge's gavel, dropped at some point over the course of the fight, and now rested on top of the pile of cracked wood that was the remains of a witness bench. Glowing faintly with it's own power, she also noted it was of a size and make to be an effective bludgeoning weapon. She picked it up in her telekinetic grip and examined it, thinking it would be good to have any advantage in the upcoming battle, particularly those that could be plundered from the enemy. “We'll see whose law proves superior in the end,” she muttered to herself, before turning to the room again.
The other survivor of the battle was the judge's portal, a scar of crackling energy across the air itself. It remained, even after the judge left, and the Celestia realized the primes would have to venture through it to truly end this threat. For the moment though, they had time, and it would be better to move through when ready rather than rush it.
Celestia turned back to her companions, who were themselves recovering and/or dispatching the few remaining nebula creatures. “How are we holding up?” she called out, “is everyone alright?”

Revan awoke, his blue eyes shooting open at the sound of Celestia's voice and the sound of fire burning. The courthouse as splendour as it had once been was now alight as most of the room was now utterly destroyed with plenty of fires having taken form around the large court. Revan could feel pain shooting through his body as his vision blurred as it was slowly drifted back into focus to reveal the full extent of the damage their fight had caused. Peering up he noticed that Celestia was currently the only one up and the darklings were moving about intending to finish them off while they were down, he had no intention of going out like that as he reached for his longsword that had fallen near his collapsed body.
"Curses." He said feeling the pain grow as he began to move his body more finally grasping out to wrap his fingers around the blade.
Revan struggled but with a bit of effort he pushed himself up off the ground with his hands rising to his feet to face the three abominations of Nebula that screeched as they found him able to stand and began moving to surround him. At first he brought his sword up weakly but once raised he tightened his grip knowing that his team needed his help. The first darkling rushed him foolishly and in a swift motion he cut right through its torso sending it falling to the ground with black blood spraying all over him. The remaining two darklings were hesitant to attack but from the look on their faces he knew they wanted to rip him apart.
"Don't worry I'm not finished yet." He said moving forward bringing his sword down upon one of the darklings before swinging around and sending his blade through the back of the other, pulling the blade out with a hard pull both corpses collapsed to the charred ground.
A portal in the middle of the room now stood like a whirlpool catching his natural curiosity. Judgeman had escaped and seemed to expect them to follow, Revan was no fool he knew it was just as the courthouse had been another trap. He could not go in alone and his new allies had taken some extremely heavy blows. Celestia stood looking upon him as he slowly approached her trying to reduce the pain movement brought upon him he moved at a slower pace then he would have liked.
"I'm alright but I think you should check the others." He grunted as he glanced her over making sure she was alright herself.
"You check on Chara first, I don't know much about how this whole being a Prime thing works but a battlefield such as this was no place for a child." Chara had proven to not be any mere child and had a violent streak but apart of him could not feel a bit guilty for allowing even a child Prime to fight.
Revan moved toward where Ash and Yu Kanda lay, he was still unsure of how they had managed to fuse but he knew that somehow they had certainly achieved such a thing though the idea of mixing minds with another person seemed to creep him out the more he thought about it. He checked them to see if they were conscious and if there was any other danger around them but there was none and they were not, he leaned down and tried to shake each of them awake and to his pleasant surprise Yu Kanda's eyes opened as he looked at Revan with an expression of more annoyance then anything else.
"I hope you can move, Judgeman escaped." He knew that the exorcist took his job seriously and if Judgeman was on the run then he needed to be hunted.
"Count me in too." Said Ash now awake himself as he gripped Revan's cape pulling himself up.
"If you both want to sit this one out I will understand, you both put a lot of your energy into that last fight." Revan was not going to ask them to go on if they couldn't.
Revan then remembered Chara and without saying a word moved to check to see if Celestia had found her. Chara as he moved closer seemed to be still unconscious and he didn't know anywhere they could go to find medical help. Celestia slowly eased Chara's body onto the ground as Revan moved the child into a better position for healing, there was no way they were going to be able to take her with them through the portal but he also didn't like the thought of leaving her here. Still all of the Omniverse was in danger and unless they stopped Judgeman many more would surely die.
"We have to hide her somewhere until we get back Celestia." He said hoping that she could perhaps fly her somewhere safe.
"I can do that." Replied Celestia taking the child in her magical grasp once more leaving behind for the moment the Judges Gavel that she had also brought over.
"Judgeman will pay." Revan said preparing himself mentally for the journey through the portal that was making an extremely loud sound that resembled in some ways an animals roar.
"Good." Said Revan when Celestia returned taking back the Gavel once more.
"No turning back now I suppose." He said as they prepared to enter through the portal together not sure where it would possibly lead.

"Damn…" coughed Ash after a big knockout that the Judge served him.
He became fully aware where he was now and realized Kanda was under him. The evil dead slayer tried to get back up but the pain has surrounded him. A groan came out of his mouth as he tried to move to get off his ally. Kanda was muddled after the crash they received. Soon after, the exorcist got back to his senses and tried to move to after the beating they received. Ash crawled through the wreckage since it was hard to stand after what happened to them.
He grabbed the railing that was still intact that was a boundary to the main court floor. With all his strength, Ash tried to pull himself upward to see if the fight was over. Sadly, it was and by the looks, their enemy defeated them. The darklings were sure filled with hope after seeing their leader won against the storming liberators. Accepting defeat was something Ash didn't want to do. He went for his shotgun that was in the holster while their foe was about to make his escape. Before Ash could even get his weapon out and aim, the judge went through the portal with words that echoed in Ash's mind.
"Court is adjourned."
No, they must not give up and fight for the survival of their home. It was their responsibility to not let this alternate evil take over the Omniverse. Others were depending on them to succeed. From having these thoughts of encouragement and never surrendering, Ash hasn’t given up yet fight for this verse. For omni's sake, he was once called the chosen one and must show that he's capable of keeping that name like he did when defeating the army of darkness.
After the judge, fled Ash slump down to the ground pulsing with pain. Revan rushed over to their aid and told them their foe escaped. Of course, Kanda didn’t want to hear those words after taking a devastating blow. Ash replied in encouragement that he wasn’t done yet. He pulled himself up from Revan’s cape with all his strength and finally stood again. Revan quickly went to Chara who needed his aid. She also took a badly beating from the Judge.
Standing but still feeling pain, Ash showed a stance that he hasn't given up the fight yet. In fact, he's just thinking it's just begun. Darklings hissed at the evil dead slayer as he stood again still alive and kicking. They immediately try to get the jump on him and Kanda while they were damaged. Ash grabbed his boomstick and drew it instantly on the incoming remaining enemies. He fired two shots at the two darklings that leaped at him with lethal claws and teeth.
They get blown away by the twelve-gauge rounds that were very effective at close range. After two were killed, another one joined in to stop the two. Ash didn't have time to reload so he let go of his gun to hit the floor and start up his chainsaw hand. The engine sputtered smoke and roared loudly that let everyone know that the Darkshire defender was still standing. He made one big lethal swing at the darkling that tried to pounce him but the creature was sawed in half by Ash's prosthetic weapon. The evil dead slayer quickly helped Kanda to get back on his feet by wrapping Kanda's arm on his shoulder to help pick up his body weight.
"Grr, what the hell just happened? Did I hear correctly that fiend escaped" questioned Kanda filled with pain.
"We got our asses kicked and I think we still have a chance at taking down that bucket of bolts." replied Ash helping to move Kanda through the debris.
Before the two moved out of the bench area, Ash grabbed his emptied shotgun off the ground and holstered it. They could see Celestia defending herself from the other darklings. At least there wasn't much of Nebula's forces left in the courtroom. The two got back on the main floor of the room and seen that the Judge left behind his weapon, the gavel. For Ash, he didn't really want the spoils much since a gavel wasn't really his type. A chainsaw was much better to fight off any undead trying to eat his face off.
Celestia picked up the hammer with her telekinesis power and examined the weapon that looked powerful. What caught Ash's and Kanda's attention was the portal that the judge went through was still there. By the looks of it, something told Ash that maybe the judge wasn't finished with them yet and wanted them to enter to meet their doom. Same goes for liberators, they weren't done with judgeman yet either.
Chara was helped up by Revan and she was taken to Celestia who tried to find a way to keep her safe. It sort of surprised Ash how that child could still be alright from all the shit they dealt with. Celestia was concerned about if they were alright.
"I think I'm fine now." grunted Kanda moving his arm off Ash and tried to stand up straight still having pain.
"I've still got my other hand so yeah. I'm alright, princess" replied Ash back at Celestia.
"Good....Bad....I'm the guy with the gun."

As Chara opened there eyes they could see a few of their allies surrounding them, as they went to touch their head they could feel that it was quite damp. They took Revans hand getting up as there knees wobbled. She felt terrible and she looked about ready to throw up. She felt her face start to spill oily black liquid over her clothes as she threw up on the floor.
“I-im fine. I ha-have to continue to fight. My life is not that important that i need to stop. I have killed myself to free my people once and i’ll do it again.” She did not care or want to know if the others disapproved of her decision. She felt the “oil” come to a stop as she felt her sweater was soaked to the brim with this liquid in the front.
She fell onto her hands and knees shaking quite a lot in pain and from being too weak to not help the others. She pounded her fist into the ground as she tried multiple times to get up with little avail. She felt so tired, and so useless at this point. “We got our asses handed to us. What’s to say we won’t again? If you think it’s possible to beat them then i’ll ready to go but if you think it’s a fruitless endeavor then i’m all ears for the next actions.” She had so many things to do, give frisk a little talk, get another monster settlement up, and get darkshire relations up and running. She breathed a little heavy for her liking as she waited for a response.
"While shooting concentrate your mind, gently muttering the spell to the Mini-Hakkero. Aiming at someone you don't like, a magicannon of love will be unleashed!"

For the most part, the group was battered but mostly intact. Though there was one exception. The child prime, Chara, was suffering from greater injuries than the rest. That she was so resolute in continuing the fight was at once a testament to her determination as well as a cause for concern. It was admirably that she was willing to continue despite what had happened, but it also could put Chara at risk, and possibly her allies if they needed to cover for her.
Celestia pursed her lips. “Your life may be more valuable than you think,” she replied. It didn't sit well with her when a fellow creature so devalued itself. But she did not have the time to have the necessary conversation, or to convince Chara to sit the fight out. “I don't supposed we could talk you into staying here, so I'll suggest this: Try to take it easy in the upcoming battle. Don't push yourself harder than you need to, and don't be afraid to hang back and cherry pick your battles.”
“The fight is hardly fruitless.” She turned addressing all of the primes now. “We have suffered a painful setback, true. But our adversaries have made a fatal mistake: they think us defeated, and of no more threat, when they had the opportunity to make sure and gave it up. While it will still be undoubtedly dangerous, our foes will not be expecting us to suddenly appear. Let's show them how great an error they've made, and finish this once and for all!” Celestia turned, the judge's hammer resting casually on her shoulder, and strode towards the portal, and then through it. As speeches go it perhaps wasn't her best, and she was feeling the wear of the previous battles more than she was letting on, but she was hoping it would be enough to inspire her companions after their previous if temporary defeat.

Kanda appreciated Ash's helping hand, even though accepting this kind of help wasn't exactly his style, he'd let the guy have his moment. With an attempt to reassure him and being freed from the embarrassing moment of showing weakness he removed his arm from his teammate.
Even though his body was aching, Kanda was still good to go. The blow he received caused more mental damage. The physical pain was just a reminder he wasn't there yet, he had to get stronger in order to execute god's wrath upon the sinners. The anger inside of him made his blood boil to new temperatures. This so called judge was toying with them, taunting him by fleeing to whatever verse was hiding behind the sinister looking portal. 'I bet that asshole is just laughing back there, thinking he's safe. ' Kanda's teeth were gritting over each other, his own hypothetical thoughts were pissing him off even more.
His so called teammates were already up and about debating what the next step was going to be and if everyone was alright. 'Soft hearted fools, instead of all this talking we should be going after him, all we're doing now is give him time to rest and gather his strength.' His team's laid back, over the top positive attitude started to bug him more and more until he had enough.
"That’s it!" The loud statement got the attention of most of the primes. Ash looked over to his teammate, knowing this wouldn't end well.
With a quick response Ash attempted to calm the situation before it even started, "Woah, Calm down there." It only added fuel to the fire.
"I'm sick of this, if you all want to hug and pat each other on the back while sharing your feelings go right ahead. I have a job to do, the same job you guys had, or so I thought. You continue here with whatever it is you are doing." The rage within his voice was clear, there was no point in reasoning with Kanda at this point and the others knew it. With his bow out once more he stepped towards the portal, shared one look with Celestia, who clearly disapproved of his outburst but had no intention of standing in his way. Even she knew, it would have been a dangerous choice.
The ominous portal was still open, but no one knew for how long. The General didn't intend to find out how long it was going to stay open. Without second thought he leapt through the portal, looking for round two with the judge.

One by one the liberators crossed through the gash, steeling their resolve after their defeat at the hands of the mad magistrate. They couldn’t know what awaited them beyond the Pale, only that they could not afford to stand idle. Each readied their defenses and strode through, prepared to attack at the slightest provocation.
Following the brief feeling of weightlessness and vertigo that came along with leaping the boundary between planes, the Primes were smacked with a bitter chill. Pounding on the roof above they could hear a furious storm, wind whipping in to chill them to the bone.To their surprise they stood in yet another courtroom, though this tribunal was quite different. While Judge Man’s residence in the Pale Moors proper was a clean and stately place of business, the walls on this side of the astral ingress looked to barely be capable of holding the roof up. Or, if the innumerable streams of rainwater streaming in from above were any indication, what was left of it. The stained marble walls and floor were derelict to the point of collapse, looking to have been deserted centuries ago. The high judge’s bench and witness stand had nearly crumbled away, the timber having long since rotted to nothing. Curiously, a trail of fresh blank pages lay strewn across the ruined floor, soaking in puddles of icy rainwater.
“No sign of the Judge,” Revan muttered, sword at the ready. He cast his gaze around suspiciously, wary of a surprise attack.
“There’s all this paper,” Ash commented, silencing his chainsaw and stooping at grab a few sheets. “How much you bet they’re his?”
A deafening crash of thunder shook the building in reply, a rather large chunk of roof dropping not a few meters in front of them with a tremendous boom. A deluge of water poured in behind it, no longer kept at bay by the crumbling barricade.
“Definitely,” Kanda replied, raising his voice over another boom. Through the arched windows he could make out forks of lightning splitting the sky as they raced toward the earth. “He can’t run from me...” the exorcist muttered to himself, squinting into the darkness.
“You think he just left us these breadcrumbs to follow him?” Celestia asked her companions, her feathery wing draped over the weakened and battered Chara. The girl said nothing, shivering against the cold.
“Doesn’t matter,” Revan replied, stepping boldly forward. “We’ll follow it as far as it goes. We should hurry, this roof isn’t going to last much longer.”
“There!” Chara spoke up suddenly, staring wide-eyed at the doorway. She extended a single finger toward the gloomy path out into Nebula Space.
As she spoke a formidable bolt rent the sky, illuminating a tall, stocky silhouette. Through the dim moonlight they could barely make out what looked like a horse at his side. They hurried across the crumbling gallery to the doorway as he swung his leg over the saddle and urged the beast forward.
“He’s fleeing, the coward!” the dark-haired exorcist accused, drawing a brilliant blue arrow to his bow. For all his posturing, though, it was too late. The Judge had galloped off into the storm.
“I think I saw something in the distance,” the chainsaw-wielder said, pointing toward an enormous looming shadow. “Looks like a castle. I’d think that’s where he’s headed.” The citadel stood tall atop one of many large hills, partially obscured by a thick layer of smog.
“Alright,” Kanda commanded, stepping out into the downpour. “We head that way. The Judge will not reach his keep!” His companions followed him into the storm, squinting through the thick fog that lay nearly four feet from the earth. How could they keep up with the mounted arbiter?
Before any could ponder their predicament much longer, the ground beneath them shuddered, toppling the group as it quaked. The Liberators scrambled as a fissure opened in the earth, tearing a six-foot long scar in the hillside. Celestia let out an audible gasp as sets of pale, clammy hands emerged from the muck, gripping and clawing clumsily at the edge. Moments later a half-dozen vaguely human figures had emerged, clad in tattered remains of what was once cheap burlap clothing. The hair atop their heads was stark white of varying lengths, contrasting the pale blue-green flesh stretched taut on their frames. Their bodies were caked in mud from head to toe, hair matted in clay and some other such filth. Their eyes shone like white hot embers through the mist, sizing up the group for but a few seconds before letting out a heart-stopping screech and diving toward them.
Quote:Welcome to to the Nebula Space here in the Pale Moors.
As stated in the original info post for this event (located here: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?...9#pid90949 ) this is where your powers will start to go out of whack.
In addition to that, the following changes are in place solely here in the pale moors nebula space:
-- Super Jumping, Flight and Enhanced Senses are completely nullified.
-- The Hive Mind and Phasing powers will work normally.
-- Characters without them will gain the Survival and Hive Mind powers.
For your first challenge here, you've been accosted by a group of ghouls! They are not particularly powerful individually, but they are incredibly sturdy and resilient, resistant to injury and difficult to even slow down. The primary mission here is, of course, to track down and follow Judgeman, while getting around these undead creatures. Of course, they are every bit as fast as they are tough, so getting away will not be easy.
You have five days and one post each, up to 1000 words, to get underway. Have at it!

As Chara trudged with the others through the mud and grime she could essentially hear Kandra growing madder by the second as Judgeman got away. "Calm down Kandra, save your anger for when we corner him like the prey he is." She had to keep kandra from going over board because they had bigger problems at the moment. She heard the screech and saw one of the ghouls rush at her. She even in her weakened state spun out of the way as she in one motion pulled out her knife.
She shivered in the cold as her sweater was made of wool. She rushed forward in a surge of energy at a ghoul. "ill hold them off for as long as I can. Im just going to be a weight fighting Judgeman." Her eyes turned red as she laughed in enjoyment as she fought a ghoul. "Keep on swinging chara and you will hit them eventually." The others stood there. "You are wasting time helping me! Just go and stop him for the betterment of the omniverse!" She ducked under the jumping of a ghoul as she slashed all the way under its neck.
She raised her knife and fired a single slash to get the ghouls attention and started to run away from the others. glitching and teleporting around hopeing to get enough distance away from the group.
"While shooting concentrate your mind, gently muttering the spell to the Mini-Hakkero. Aiming at someone you don't like, a magicannon of love will be unleashed!"

Revan had expected the portal they had gone through to be exactly like the others but it had in fact felt more strange then ever and it was then that he had remembered some of his memories of being dragged to the Omniverse in the first place. Why he wondered still that out of so many in such a massive amount of humans and other creatures he was the one on this crazy adventure.
The courtroom on the other side could not even keep out the rain that now poured over him leaving him soaked and cold yet again much to his annoyance. He did not fail to notice however that things felt somehow different here as if his powers had been drained but also like much of his pain had also mysteriously vanished though looking down he found his wounds were still very much there, admittedly he felt a bit scared of what he had gotten himself into.
The Judge had left behind paper as he fled towards some castle in the distance leaving Revan with many unanswered questions. He looked at his team quite battered but still every bit as eager as he was to continue, so continue they would.
"How long has Nebula been here, how long has this place whatever it is been here?" He didn't expect anyone to know but could not help but ask such questions.
"The judge wants to break us before engaging us again." Said Revan believing he knew at least a part of Judgemans plan.
"He is not stupid, he knows that he has an advantage here and he isn't going to avoid using it to its fullest potential, we should take our time a step rushing would only endanger us further." Revan knew that if there was an army in that castle they would be at a huge disadvantage.
"Kanda wait!" He yelled as the exorcist was already rushing ahead intending to beat Judgeman to his castle.
The ground around them shook as the land collapsed in on itself revealing cracks ahead of them on the hills ahead of them. Six ghouls pulled themselves from the ground their Bodies and faces distorted and decomposed reminding all the horror of death itself.
"Great, more nightmarish abominations to deal with." As soon as he finished Chara removed herself from Celestia's wing and thrusted into battle calling for them to leave her.
He looked over at Yu Kanda wondering what he wanted to do and saw a look that said all he needed to know or at least so he believed. Ash had been the first to arrive here with Chara and seemed torn between helping Chara or moving on with the exorcist. He found himself paused longer when his gaze found Celestia's, the pony he knew understood the importance of loyalty.
"Move on if you feel you need to Kanda but I'm staying, Celestia if he goes you should follow, admittedly stopping Judgeman is more important but I can't just leave Chara behind." He placed his hand on Celestia's hoof before taking his sword and charging after Chara.
Chara was extremely fast he had to admit, of course her teleportation ability proved to be most impressive and useful for avoiding most dangers. He knew though that Chara was severely wounded and wouldn't be able to keep up the speed forever, luckily for her that is where he came in. He leapt forward cutting a ghoul in the back, his sword easily enough cutting through its rotten flesh sending it falling to the ground as decayed black blood spilled all over the rocky ground. Two more of the ghouls now turned towards him with a desire he did not fail to recognise as hunger, a shiver went down his back as he moved into a defensive posture.
"Your not eating me or my friends." He said before the ghouls charged with a new found anger as they screeched sending their cries through the stormy night air.
His ears hurt from the screeching he had to admit but he was ready for them none the less, or so he thought until he felt a pain in his right leg which upon looking down found the earlier fallen ghoul digging its sharp nails into his flesh. He had no choice as he swung his sword down and stabbed his blade through the creatures skull forcing it to release its grip but lowering his defence to the other two charging toward him.
As they charged into him he did his best to block but they sent him tumbling to the wet soaked cold ground as they worked together to not only remove his sword from his grasp but also attempted to hold down his limbs as they looked over him as if he was their next meal.
He managed to get his left arm free for a moment as he punched the ghoul on the right which he had to admit was not the nicest feeling thing to hit but regardless the ghouls were resilient and quickly regained their control over him. A moment later his legs were free as the ghoul instead moved its disgusting rotting corpse hands around his neck, the dead skin felt leathery and stunk like a month old corpse as it tightened around his throat leaving him gasping for breath. He wanted little more then to fight back but he was overtaken by fear as thoughts of this being the end filled his mind even as he attempted to kick free. The creatures eyes seemed more dead then the rest of it as they clearly saw nothing in him but food as he saw himself reflected in its eyes.
He knew that he needed to throw them off and grab his sword as quickly as possible but he was unsure if he was going to be able to make it.

The Pale Moors was better looking than the Nebula Space that the liberators have stepped into. It was cold here for Ash from the clothing he was wearing. Everything felt weird here, everyone had a strange feeling about this alien world. They soon got over the feeling and focused on finding the Judge in this strange place. As the liberators progressed through the storm, they've stopped from a quake that was happening. Ghouls rose and made terrifying noises from the presence of fresh meat.
They all began to charge toward the liberators with screeches and howls. Chara had made her announcement for them to move on to find Judgeman while she took on the ghouls. Revan refused to leave behind Chara and joined in on the action to stop the ghouls. Three of them were left to think what to do.
"Goddamn ghouls." muttered Ash starting up his chainsaw hand and whipped the boomstick out from the holster.
Ash knew it wasn't smart to leave a quarter of their team behind to handle a group of ghouls. One of them barely survived the fight against the judge but one prime isn't enough to help and fight off the ghouls that are trying to kill a half-beaten prime child.
"Minus well join in on the shit show since were going to need everyone's help to stop this asshole." said Ash with a smirk then joined in on the action.
Some of the ghouls that came out of the ground farther away from the main group noticed Kanda and Celestia. They attack the exorcist and the alicorn, making them defend themselves against the ferocious beings.
Ash came up to the first ghoul that had its attention on the two primes that were killing them. He aimed his shotgun in one hand at the head of the ghoul. The trigger was pulled and blew the head up into pieces with a loud boom that caught the primes and the ghouls attention. Most of the monsters hissed at Ash's appearance and some lumbered over where he stood which gave the two primes less pressure fighting all the ghouls.
The chainsaw roared loudly as Ash sawed his way through two ghouls.
"Sorry for cutting in on the action fellas!" yelled Ash over the loud chainsaw while gore and violence filled the scene with the evil dead slayer and ghouls.
After Revan finished off another ghoul with his sword, he looked over his shoulder and noticed Ash was fighting with them. A little relief came over him knowing that his companions still care about him and Chara. Another ghoul stepped in front of Revan and howled for flesh, making him focus on his opponent and trying to survive. Ash fired one last shot that was in his shotgun at a ghoul that was a part of a trio but was farther away than the rest. The monster got hit and was blown away from the blast of the shotgun causing the ghoul's body flew a couple feet backward and died.
Two more came up to Ash with drooling mouths for his flesh. His boomstick was holstered and he had his other hand on the handle of the chainsaw. The weapon roared loudly again with the blade spinning rapidly. Ash raised the chainsaw high then swung downward on one of the ghouls. He began to saw his way through at the shoulder causing blood and gore to spray. Before the other one could grab a hold of ash, the Darkshire defender let go the chainsaw handle and balled his left hand into a fist then punched the ghoul so hard in the face making the creature stumble back.
Ash held on to the handle of his weapon once again and forced the sawing to go faster. He sawed through the ghoul from the shoulder and across the chest. The body felled apart into two pieces but the monster remained alive. The last ghoul of the trio came up to Ash for the final time trying to bite his face off but was stopped by Ash shoving the creature away brutally with his left arm. It attempted again for Ash but was decapitated by his Chainsaw. While the evil dead slayer was busy, the remaining half of the ghoul began to crawl up to Ash and snarled.
After Ash decapitated the ghoul, he noticed the other was still alive and was a foot away from him.
"Here's your lunch!" yelled Ash raising his boot high then stomped violently on the ghoul's skull causing it to be crushed and burst with gore.
After killing a couple, he was soaked in blood and gore from head to torso. For the moment, no ghouls were where Ash was standing. He still saw that his team members were fighting them off. Before he started another round on their enemies, Ash reloaded his shotgun and did a stylish roll in his left hand, ready to take on more action. Revan and Chara were a lot closer to him than where Kanda and Celestia stood. The robed prime looked like he was doing alright with some of the ghouls but Chara needed the help the most.
The royal child struggled to try to stand her ground from a couple of ghouls.

Their pursuit of the judge was put on pause by the sudden earthquake, and while it proved no great threat itself it heralded a new danger. Undead creatures burst out of a large crack in the ground and charged the group of primes. Celestia tried to take to the air, to get a vantage point from which she could assess the situation, but she found she could not. Flapping her wings only produced some noise and a few awkward seconds of standing still. She was ground-bound. So that's what she had felt when the passed through the portal. She was sure there were other changes too, but she wouldn't have time to stop and assess them right now.
Before anyone could stop her, Chara took the initiative, and before anyone could stop she turned and began warping around the ghouls and striking where she could, and explaining her intent to draw them off so the main party could continue their pursuit. Of course, in her state Chara wouldn't be able to do it alone, and seeing this Revan followed her into combat, and he was joined shortly by Ash, with the argument that there was no point in separating given the opponent they would have to face.
In other circumstances, Celestia would have jumped in as well. Defending a weakened member of the party was a natural inclination. But in this case, it wasn't just a matter of traversing the region, they had to pursue the judge before he accomplished his goal. Celestia couldn't be sure what the judge's goal was, but presumably it had something to do with the large citadel off in the distance. If nothing else, getting there would allow Judgeman to strengthen his defences, and he had already given them enough trouble without such an advantage.
Celestia made her decision. She could trust Revan and Ash to keep Chara safe. If the judge got to his destination, all this effort and pain they had gone through might be rendered worthless. The ghouls meanwhile, while something of a menace wouldn't be all that threatening on their own.
One of the ghouls had shambled over to her, reaching out with it's emaciated hands. Celestia lifted a hoof to block its attack, catching some light scratches in the process before knocking the creature away with the gavel. The ghoul fell to the ground, and while it was hardy enough to recover quickly, a prone position made it easy prey and the bulk of its senses were likely still bound to its head. Celestia took a moment to aim before firing off a searing ray of heat, aimed at destroying the ghoul's eyes and ears, before beginning to gallop away, in the vague direction of the judge and the citadel he was headed towards. “Keep safe, I'm going on ahead!” she called out as she went.
“Are you crazy!?” It was Ash who called back, between swings of his chainsaw, “Didn't you hear what I just said!?”
“I know, but I don't have to fight him properly, I just have to keep him distracted until the rest of you can catch up! I'm counting on you to be quick!” By then, Celestia was too far away to make out any reply clearly, as she continued to chase after the judge.

From one shitstorm to the next, Kanda was done with this small fry, he was after the brains of this operation. Who ever created this madness was going to find themselves at the pointy end of his sword. But before such a scene presents itself he had to prove himself once more. Yet another problem presented itself. Both himself and celestia found themselves ahead of the group, even Ash couldn't keep up. The duo attempted to get out ahead, find judgeman and take care of him, the task was more challenging as initially thought. These ghouls were faster, allot faster than the foes they faced before in the moors. Luckily both him and Celestia weren't strangers with high speed combat, their reflexes were sharp as the battle continued. Finding and fighting their way through the mob.
The arrows coming from his blood bow were flying across the battlefield, finding their targets with deadly precision and creating a path. His movement were so elegant it was almost as if he was performing a dance of lethal arrows. Like a pedal being blown over still water kanda moved in through the group ravaging ghouls. His mind was focused, both of his feet maintained a proper stance during every attack and shift of movement. The brainless minions were no joke, a single moment of carelessness could result in a devastating punishment. The General's mind was blank, giving in to his warrior training and intuition. From his left he noticed one of the monsters trying to flank him, a solid tactic but the exorcist still had another way to dodge, up.
Commanding the innocence within him he attempted to sprout his angelic wings and take to the sky, but something was wrong. A sense of shock came over the warrior when his energy crafted limbs failed to emerge and lift him to the air above. This one split second of lost focus was about to cost him dearly. Several of the fiends attacks went through, making him lose his balance and take several hits. He attempted to block an hit with his bloodbow, only to have it shattered. In an instant Kanda drew his sword and activated his second illusion katana. A swift and powerful spin blew back the nebula minions enough to get away.
"Are you alright!?" Celestia shouted from a short distance.
"I'm fine." He grunted. Rushing towards his ally. They had to make sure their teammates distraction wasn't in vain. With high speed the primes dashed forward, looking for the judge.
" Be careful, it seems some of our powers are blocked here, I just failed to fly." Kanda spoke when he caught up with Celestia. She responded with a sharp nod, it seemed she was focused on the task yet to come. This was something Kanda could respect, and work with.
You're naive. We're destroyers, not saviors. - Yu Kanda

(This post was last modified: 06-18-2017, 07:48 AM by Nebula.)
The onslaught of the hungry dead seemed to slow as the ghouls began to fall, becoming lifeless corpses once more. The combined efforts of the three Primes had managed to keep them at bay, holding the line to allow the others to make chase toward Judge Man’s goal. With renewed vigor, the trio fought until the last ghoul was silenced, falling limp and headless upon the soggy earth.
“Is that the last of them?” Chara asked, eyeing the fallen corpses with suspicion.
Her answer came soon after, a boom from beneath her feet. In a fashion all too familiar, the earth quaked beneath them, nearly bringing them to their knees. They awaited the next onslaught of ghouls, though they were met with nothing of the sort.
Instead, something much worse.
“Hold onto something!” Ash cried out, wrapping his chainsaw arm around a low-hanging tree limb. The others followed suit, Revan finding his own tree to grasp and Chara scampering up the side of a large boulder.
Seconds later the earth itself was split in twain before them, the moist loam churning like a sea of soil and rock. The entire front face of the Courthouse was ripped clean from the rest as the ground beneath it crumbled and toppled into oblivion. Soon the Primes watched in horror as an enormous shape emerged from the chasm, standing nearly two stories tall and composed of the earth itself. The being vaguely resembled human proportions, with two mammoth stocky legs supporting a thick midsection roughly fifteen feet across. Two equally massive arms jutted from its ‘shoulders’, the entirety of the creature covered in tombstones and dotted with various heinous fragments and chunks of shattered corpses.
The earth had risen to claim them.
Quote:Ghouls dispatched! You have a new problem to deal with now, though: a massive Earth Necromental. The gargantuan hulk is extremely tough, and extremely powerful. It's slow, but its sheer size will make trying to fight it turn out very poorly. Running is advised, and trying to weather its fury and escape to take down the leader of this place.
Earth Necromental stats, for convenience:
ATK: 8
DEF: 10
SPD: 2
TEC: 0
Damage Report for last round:
-- Chara: 5
-- Ash: 3
-- Revan: 4
-- Celestia: 3
-- Kanda: 3
Damage Totals:
-- Chara: 26
-- Ash: 15
-- Revan: 16
-- Celestia: 13
-- Kanda: 12
You have one week to make one post, which may be up to 1200 words, to deal with the situation as you see fit.

The last ghoul had been thrown off as its corpse lifelessly flopped to the ground as Revan looked around making sure Ash and Chara had been able to fend off their own attackers. The ground beneath them quaked once more as he tightly hugged a tree hoping that it would be enough to stay upright. instead of opening as another chasm for the emergence of more ghouls the ground began to form into a large creature that appeared to resemble a graveyard now on legs. Revan found fighting the ghouls had been difficult enough and knew that this thing was too much for their smaller splintered group.
"I um, think we should catch up to the others." Revan sheathed his longsword readying for what may end up being his most speedy withdrawal yet.
The large creature seemed to gaze upon them for a few moments as if it too had forgotten to eat any breakfast in the morning, if this place had ever had a morning. Revan knew when he was most assuredly outmatched and made a hasty tactical retreat sprinting after the way Celestia and Yu Kanda had traversed but a minute earlier following in the alicorn's hoofsteps he hoped Chara and Ash weren't far behind him.The ground began to rumble as the large ghastly beast began moving toward them, extremely slow at first the creature quickly began speeding up removing any doubts Revan had that they were now being hunted by a hulk of Earth and corpses. He had no time to even look behind him as he pushed his body through the slippery ground as fast as it would go, every pace he risked tumbling over and being consumed by the abysmal creature right on his back.
The Earth shook with every step as the massive creature of rock, dirt, bone and rotten flesh shuffled towards them intending to add them to the many that had already lost their lives to this concocted plot that Nebula whoever they truly were had planned to draw the Omniverse under their shadow. The mud made running extra difficult to be sure but it did little to deter his desire to get away from the massive entity stomping into the wet ground behind him. So many were dead and unless they stopped Judgeman surely many more would follow and such travesties he could not allow to continue. He continued on in the direction Judgeman had gone earlier desperately hoping that ending Judgeman would put a stop to all of this before it was too late.
He could see the castle in the near distance, Celestia and Yu Kanda continuing toward it unaware of what was coming up behind them, certainly when the oversized creature made its final approach they would feel the tremors that its weighted stomping produced drawing their attention to the approaching danger. He was going to do his best to make it out of this alive, this time no mistakes were going to be made and they were going to pull through this. The ground continued to crumble around him as the tall gargantuan was at its own full speed managing to just keep up behind them as they approached the tall walls and the rest of their team moving toward a large black gate.
Revan with newfound determination knew that the others needed to be alerted to the new threat that had pulled itself from the very land they walked on. He pushed himself using the last of the stamina he had left as the large castle now loomed over them reminding them that another enemy was also dangerously near. He was about to attempt to yell out when both seemed to have their attentions caught by the thudding moving through the shuddering ground. He hoped the gate of the castle was open otherwise they were going to be stuck out here with the unknown creature intent on adding them to its collection of decomposing dead.
"Keep moving!" He yelled as he ran past Yu Kanda and Celestia as they all made their way toward the castle gate.
The castle gate was closed and had a squad of Nebula's minions on the other side who seemed interested in watching the primes get consumed by what they probably considered a minor nuisance. The position Revan found himself gave him a risky but terrific idea to lower the castles otherwise extremely infuriating defences. The others seemed to realize what Revan's plan was as they cut off quickly using their smaller bodies and increased mobility to trick the momentum driven giant to tumble right into the castles walls. The colossal creature attempted to slow itself but found its weight was too heavy to stop quickly enough as it tumbled barreling into the castle gate and bringing down a large chunk of the wall and taking the front guards with it crushing them into the cold dead ground.
"Now is our chance, get to the castle!" He yelled as they charged through the smoke and debris that now scattered throughout the exterior of the castle grounds.
They made their way through the destruction that had been wrought upon the field quickly, taking advantage of the peace seemingly bestowed upon them they wasted no time moving with haste toward the doors that led into the castle. The ground began to shake once more as the titan sized monster picked itself up off the ground intent once more upon consumption as it reached out a rocky bone constructed hand reaching for them as they quickly made their way to the castle entrance before they were consumed for good.
The enormous strength and weight of the creatures palm slammed right through the castles doors creating an easy entrance route as Revan jumped onto the creatures wrist before diving inside the building tumbling inside on the castles floor. The creature reeled back before pouncing for another attack seeking whichever Prime it could get its hands on. Revan shuffled back away from the door before rising to his feet quickly hoping the creature wasn't about to bring down the entire castle on top of them. At least for the moment it seemed to lack any sign of stopping however Judgeman was far more important and so they had to chase on after their intended target.

Though tenacious and resilient, the ghouls were neither particularly capable or intelligent. As such, when they were focused on the task it was simple enough for Celestia and Yu Kanda to break through the pack of them. Yu Kanda stumbled for a moment, but this was due to an unexpected effect of the region they were in rather than any notable effort on the part of their attackers. When he explained as much, while they ran onwards, Celestia nodded grimly. “Yes,” she replied between breaths, “I'd noticed something to that effect myself. I must apologize, I would have said something had I known other people than just I were affected. It's something we will have to account for in the battle ahead.” Still, the delay was inconsequential, and the route to the fortress lay open ahead of them.
They only managed to cover part of the difference before it became apparent that the way behind them was not so empty. The first sign of pursuit was what began as a steady thumping from some distance in the way they'd just come, steadily gaining in volume. Celestia was prepared not to look back, whatever was behind them could likely be avoided by doing what they were already doing, racing toward the forest.
The voices of her allies, those that had stayed behind to keep the enemies distracted or keep allies who decided to stay behind safe, gave Celestia pause. She was initially pleased to hear her allies returning to her, but Revan's tone as he called out gave her pause. She slowed slightly, managing to put two and two together just in time expect the creature that came thundering up behind them. It was as if the even the ground itself had aligned with Nebula's cause and wanted to destroy the primes. How could they fight the very ground they were standing on?
Perhaps they wouldn't have to. Revan was already acting on the concept Celestia was forming, that perhaps the creature didn't need to be beaten, it could be avoided. Indeed, it didn't seem particularly tactically minded, and it couldn't be easy to manage all that bulk. With a little cleverness, the charging, animate mound could be turned, unintentionally, to their advantage.
The creature pursued them right up to the fortress' walls, and when the primes suddenly veered out of the way, right through them. The walls were sturdy, but could only hold so much. That they stayed standing was a testament to their durability, but a hole was created all the same. The creature stumbled, disoriented, but it was entirely undamaged and would recover quickly.
“We don't have long!” Celestia called out as she surged forward. She wouldn't let any of her companions mistake the momentary of calm for an actual break in the action, if she could help it. She scrambled through the hole created by the creature's impact, keeping a watchful eye out and ready to blast anything hostile which lay in wait on the other side. The creature stirred as she passed, which spurned her on faster. “We can lose it in the passageways, or force it to tear apart the fortress chasing after us!"

The pony was shouting commands as if she was running the show. It obviously rubbed Kanda the wrong way, especially since she was right. With no words spoken the exorcist executed the commands as shouted in her high voice. Taking orders from a pony, what's next, cooking class with a demon?
The group rushed inside the ancient structure. The large rooms and long passageways provided with enough space to move around quickly, in search for somewhere safe. The structure started to rumble as the monstrosity outside appeared to attack it once more.
within the confinements of the castle the rumbling stopped. Whether the creature gave simply gave up or the magic which controlled it wore off was unknown. For now, the party had a chance to catch their breath.
"Is everyone alright?" The out of breath pony checked with her allies. Kanda sat down, trying to catch his breath, "Fine."
Ash had one hand on his knee leaning forward, gasping for air, running was not his strong suit. Fighting monsters, demons and strange magical creatures from nebula was one thing, but running a freaking marathon just wasn't him. "I'm *pant* just peachy."
Revan leaned with his back against the grey stone wall, his head leaning against the cold bricks, "Yeah, no problem here." Chara, however, had seen better days. Her wounds were clearly showing and fatigue had struck. It was a brave young warrior but anyone could tell she was struggling, "Don’t worry about me. Just give me a minute."
Ash finally asked the question on everyone's mind, "What was that thing?"
The pony immediately had her reaction at the ready, she sure did love to talk, "It was like the earth itself was attacking us, somewhere there must be the source of all this. The place that has enough magic to conjure and control such a beast. We would've seen something this big if it was already here, so-.. "
Kanda couldn't listen to another second of it, "It's just another one of Nebula's forces alright? No need to have a freaking debate over it. It's here, its evil and we should kill it."
"Easier said than done." Revan decided to get in the mix of the conversation.
The exorcist immediately jumped into defense mode, "You think running is a better idea?"
The intensity of the debate started to rise quickly, and not for the better, "Well go ahead and kill it, I'll be here waiting for your return."
Kanda didn't care for his tone very much. Getting up and standing in front of Revan, chest forward, taking a stance, "I don't like your tone, perhaps I should deal with this first and then the beast."
"GUYS!" Ash's loud voice echoed throughout the hallways. " Seriously, stop. This is not the time nor the place for this bullshit. We are in this together. Kanda, we both know that thing would've crushed you, it's better to go after the source of it. Revan, don't poke the bear, you know he's moody."
The general made a noise that resembled a growl and turned his back, he knew Ash was right but was too proud to admit it.
The chainsaw warrior seemed pretty pleased with himself, for once he took the lead, and things didn't go bad. It was a feeling he wasn't allowed to enjoy for very long. From outside the keep a deep frightening roar was heard. Shaking everyone back to reality, they were not safe at all. The entire place started to shake, as if an earthquake was tearing the area in half.
"Everyone hold on!" someone shouted. Kanda was too busy keeping his balance to notice anything else. Then, suddenly over his head, stones started to fall down as the walls were being torn down by sheer force. The creature was still on the hunt, staring down at the group through the second hole it made to the structure.
"Ah shit, everybody run!"
