To the Abyss
#1
It had been a couple days since his initiation, and Bendy was already out and about, occasionally ambushing hapless travelers that had the misfortune of crossing his path. As it turned out, Torinin was a lot more lenient with her orders than the imp had expected; as long as he was doing something for the good of Dracula during his work time, he was free to do whatever he wanted. Boris stayed at the castle, doing whatever servantly things were required of him. While the ink monster was a little upset at the massive amount of time they spent apart, the monsters within the keep had been proving themselves capable of protecting the canine, so he put up with it.

Today had been different. When he awoke from his bed, he found the bird lady herself staring down at him. "What do you want?" he asked, stretching and rubbing his pie-cut eyes.

"This is aaan importaaant mission," she squawked ripping away Bendy's blanket. "You're currently the only one who caaan do it."

The demon sat up straight, excited by the revelation. "Only one, you say?"

Rolling her eyes, the tengu held up a poster. It advertised something called Dante's Abyss. "This... Daaante's Aaabyss haaas caaaught Draaaculaaa's aaattention. He waaants someone to go paaarticipate in this aaand gaaather informaaation about the other competitors. But aaas you caaan see, it's Primes only."

"But what is a Prime?"

"Aaa Prime is someone who waaas brought here by Omni himself. Aaas faaar aaas I'm aaawaaare, you're the only Prime in our army aaaside from Draaaculaaa aaat the moment."

"Aren't you forgetting Boris?"

"You summoned him here. Aaas he never met Omni, he isn't aaa Prime. He is aaa Secondaaary."

Bendy sighed, but quickly recovered once he noticed Torinin glaring at him. "Right. Where do I sign up?"

"The closest sign-up aaareaaa aaappears to be in Daaarkshire, but..."

Neither one needed to say anything to understand why that was a bad idea. "But the Paaale Moors haaas gaaates thaaat leaaad to Caaamelot aaand the Frozen Fields. It saaays they haaave sign-ups in every Verse, aaand since Daaarkshire and Caaamelot aaare on good terms... I suggest getting aaa haaat aaand scaaarf."

It didn't take long for Bendy to gather the logistics of where the signup area would be: since the Frozen Fields didn't have a central civilization, the booth would most likely be somewhere close to the Nexus gate. The directions were simple enough.

He bid Boris farewell and rode off into the distance on a motorcycle he had summoned. Speeding by, the demon arrived at the gate and entered.
