As soon as Guu returned to the Ninja Village with the shard, word traveled fast. Amongst the populace of Ambrosia, murmurs began to spread. When the pink one left Mokukure, hand and hand with her friends, excitement filled the air of her home town. And as their princess parsed her way through the wood, and the city was plain in sight, so close she could almost hold it in her hand, the city was in jubilation.
Princess Guu had returned to Ambrosia.

As Guu and company made their way into the city proper, she began to wonder if she should be wearing a disguise just to not make a commotion, though it didn’t take long that mitigating the commotion would be an impossibility right now.
As the buildings surrounded them, so did the the excited crowds of people, slowly closing in on our group, blocking the street almost entirely.
“Umm, on second thought, guys.” Started Guu. “I should go alone. We’ll have a riot if I walk to the palace.”
“Eye-eye sir!” Called out the three ninja saluting.
Guu felt that one crawling on her skin. Been on the trail so long, the authority figure status was going to take some getting used to again.
“Pitchen, it’s time you go back to your family.”
“Right. I did warn them over the phone, though they may be in for a surprise regardless.” Said the semi-robotic moogle, somberly.
“Bani and Melanie, go find yourselves a house, should be a few still vacant.”
“We can do that!” Said the girl in a white playboy bunny outfit. She turned to her watermelon companion. “Want to room together again?”
The watermelon nodded as Bani gave her a smile.
“And Gildarts,” she thought for a moment, realizing she didn’t really have an immediate order for him. “Just, do what you have to do, but come by the palace later, Molly will want to see you.”
“Will do, princess.” Said Gildarts with a bit of a smile.
“Okay, see ya all later.”
Guu took off into the sky, flying over the streets of the city. People started to wave at her as she passed by, moving at absurdly high speeds.

Guu flew across her city waving as much as she could while heading towards the palace in the middle. The palace, modeled after the mansion she’d sometimes live in back in her original universe, just seeing it up ahead was giving her a nostalgic feeling deep inside.
She flew passed the front gates and down the pathway that parted the jungle sanctuary. But she had to stop midway through as a familiar punk rocker girl stood before her.
“Sylvia Black.” Guu said, landing on the ground in front of her.
“You’re finally back, Princess.”
A few seconds of silence the pair laughed and Guu jumped up to give her a big hug.
After Guu pulled back and floated back to the ground, Sylvia went straight to business.
“You’re timing is impeccable. We have a few ambassadors from the superhero group The Avengers in town.”
“I’ll see them later this evening, I’ll need to read up on them first.”
“That’s fair.”
“First things first, where’s Molly?” Asked Guu.
“She was up in her room the last time I checked.”
“Good, I’ll be up to see her in a bit.”
“She would like that.”
“I want a giant birthday party set up for tomorrow.”
Sylvia was taken aback by this order.
“But her birthday is not until next-”
“We’re moving it up, strike while the iron’s hot. Get the best party planner in the city on it, I want something huge.”
“Alright, if that’s what you want.”
“Now excuse me for a bit, I want to add a few things to the mansion.”
Sylvia shrugged as she went back to her work, now with a bit more on her plate to deal with.
Guu focused her Omnilium, the familiar rainbow orb appeared from her body. She couldn’t tell how much time passed, but eventually the orb expanded and added a few features to the mansion.
An empty room on the bottom floor was now a new medical lab, while a new booth was added near the gate, a brand new dataverse uplink station.
“Perfect!” Guu said.

Hah, now I finally have some time alone with you, the Malefactor’s voice said seductively, Come now, just one little kiss?
Gildarts rolled his eyes, he’d had women hit on him, but never this persistent.
“I KNEW it was you! I could smell it!” a voice squeaked while a little winged cat standing on two legs bounded for him, “Gildarts! Mrrow!”
Smell him? Good thing she's a cat, and hopefully it was a good thing. “Hello Piqui, good to see you,” he pretended the voice in his head wasn’t there, like usual. He pat the little Exceed’s head with a smile, greeting the kitten which had grown in just the little time they’d spent apart, “You’ve gotten taller… I think.” Hard to tell with a cat.
I won’t be gotten rid of that easily, Gildarts Clive. I’m still here, and the fleabag in front of you doesn’t know it, they don’t know the things I can do if I really tried, I could extend my power, flex your little hand and CRUNCH! Off with their little head. You don’t believe me? I’ll prove it to you, so I demand some love and attention right now, and maybe some innocent bystanders to kill. That would suffice. And those are your options, like them or not.
Gildarts felt his teeth grit, his eyes directed to where he best imagined her to be inside his head, Not here, not now, I’m tired and feel like a good nap. Plus, this is home, get used to it, or don’t. I generally go out on jobs anyway, life on the road suits me. Miss, Mister, Malefactor, whatever your gender is, you and I need to have a little talk about you not saying things about killing people. Honestly, it gets a bit tiring, I don’t kill people. And I’m and old man, you can see that, I’m forty years old (no one can prove nor deny that) and I’ve lived a long life. You don’t even have a body, yet you insist that you can move the one arm I have left and think you’re going to pull the cat’s head off or something? Guu was right to put you in your place, you need to chill, I would tell you to go out more, but well…
He smiled and Piqui assumed he was thinking about her and had missed her. The cat purred and squeaked, “So what’d you get Molly for her birthday?”
Gildarts Clive, when I finally do take possession of your body, you will regret you ever said those words to me. she hissed.
You’re an evil creature and it is both fortunate and unfortunate that you’ve taken up residence in my head. I can keep an eye on you, make sure you don’t kill anyone else, but I still have to deal with you attempting to prey on my mind. I don’t take lightly to that. If you had a body, I’m sure I’d punch you senseless. Gildarts responded.
But you wouldn’t kill me, right? The great and powerful Gildarts is just too noble for that.
“Her birthday? Is that what that pink card was? Her invitation?!” Gildarts felt his thoughts come back while he remembered the invite and how he’d even RSVP’d. “I uh, didn’t get her anything yet but I guess I could… Make her something?”
Piqui folded her arms together, “You’d think for a man on a million missions you’d remember the important ones.”
“All of them are important,” he responded slowly and deeply while his eyes clouded over with memory.
“So what do you think you’re going to get her?” Piqui brought him back. “Tomorrow is the party you know? Or did you forget that too.”
“O-oh, of course I knew that… Heh…” embarrassedly he nodded, but he wasn’t fooling anyone. Classic, oblivious, forgetful Gildarts. Good think he’d remembered to save Earthland a couple of times. “Do you think she’d like a new sword?”
“DUDE, she’s barely ten, why don’t you stick to something that a girl like her can actually use?” Piqui was outraged, the thought of Molly playing with a sword, she’d surely cut one of her pigtails off, it wasn’t worth the risk.
“Well Erza had a sword when she came to Fairy Tail, she’d summon them with her magic and over time she practiced and got better,” Gildarts muttered, attempting to justify his thought.
“Molly isn’t whoever Erza is, Gil,” Piqui reminded him.
“What do you think she’d like?” the Fairy Tail mage asked, his metal joints had begun to squeak while his real ones ached and creaked with every step.
“You mean other than you to be here for more than an hour?” Piqui had achieved Molly-level sass, it was CONTAGIOUS.
“Hey, that’s just not how I do things, if I stay in one place too long…” His voice trailed off. Camelot was a great example of this, but he had forbidden himself from ever bringing it up. He didn’t think of the consequences anymore. “So her present?”
“Ah yes, let us sit upon this bench and brainstorm.” Piqui leapt up, using her wings as better support.
Gildarts shrugged and sat down, welcoming the chance to give his old bones a break from this chaotic last couple of days. Guu had gone off to do princess things and he’d probably see them at the party later.
You wanted to buy a sword for a little girl? Maybe you’re more evil than I hoped! Hahaha, the Malefactor laughed, She’d probably rather have a unicorn or something useless.
Well, kids like toys, oh a unicorn could be great, she could ride it and it would protect her from monsters like you! Gildarts thought back, engaging with the invisible entity.
“What about a unicorn, she could ride it and they could be friends?” Gildarts asked to the little cat.
“Hmm, maybe take it up with Princess Guu, you’d have to make a place for it to sleep and stuff,” the cat’s whiskers twitched when it spoke.
Gildarts was silent and when Piqui looked over, she saw that his eyes were closed, his chin was tilted down, and he was sound asleep. Piqui moved his shaggy black cape over him like a blanket the best she could and curled up beside him.

Guu made her way up the ornate stairs of the palace. It had been a long time since she last tread up those flights. It almost felt like yesterday since she built the palace with her bare hands… well, mostly just with her omnilium but her hands must have been involved somehow.
She made her way down the long narrow hallways full of guest rooms the lined the second floor. She had no question of which room was her’s; if it weren’t for the fact her senses already told her where the young one was, the rather elaborate door decorations would have been a clue.
It was visible clear across the hall. her door painted a pastel pink with a dark red lining. The color choices felt little much even for someone like Molly, not that Guu was really in the position to judge.
As she got closer, she could see the symbol on the door. A pink heart shape in the middle with her name emblazoned in it.
The pink one stretched out to knock on the door, but her senses quickly gave her a better image of what was going on in the room. Instead, she chose to walk up to the door and peek inside.
The curtains down, the room was darkened, but it was just light enough to make out the unmistakable form of Molly, breathing softly in her PJs.
It was earlier than the princess had realized.
She took a moment to think, deciding if she should wake her or just leave, that is until she noticed the Guu plushie the young one was holding in her arms. A light bulb appeared above her head, but she quickly turned it off so not to disturb the child’s slumber.
Instead, she silently hovered into the room, stealthily closing the door behind her before floating towards the child. She gently pulled out the plushie from her grasp and tossed it aside. She then slowly landed onto the surface of the bed, lying face up next to her, and fell asleep herself.

Sylvia made her way through the crowds, people clamored to the streets, hoping their princess may walk by. The punk second in command would be rolling her eyes if she didn’t understand their fervor right now.
Finally, she made her way to town square, where she spotted the person she was looking for; or maybe person wasn’t the right word.
She was a pony, but her body was bubblegum pink and her hair was a bright reddish pink, all up in messy curls. On both back thighs are the neatly drawn tattoos of a bunch of balloons. Sylvia recalled they gained those magically, she wasn’t sure. These bipedal additions to the city were still rather new to her.
The pony was looking over a clipboard which she somehow held with the flat end of her hoof. The front bangs of her hair was holding a pencil and was even writing for her like an extra hand.
Suddenly, the pony swiveled her huge baby blue eyes towards hair. Jumping several feet in the air, she tossed the clipboard and pencil into non-existences and turned to give Sylvia a bit smile.
“Ooh! Good morning second princess!”
“Uh, Pinkie Pie,” said the punk rocker girl, wincing at the nickname, “just call me Sylvia, please.”
“Okay, Second Princess Sylvia!” She said as he gleefully bounced around her. Then she stopped in midair and floated gently down to the ground. “Anything I can help you with?”
“Well,” she said, misplacing her discomfort for a second, “Molly’s early birthday party is coming up and-”
“Oh! Don’t worry, I’m already on it!” She said, waving a hoof around.
Sylvia had been so distracted by the pastel colored pony that she failed to notice that there were party decorations already strewn all over the town square.
“Wha, huh?” She cried out baffled. “How did you know Guu moved it up to tomorrow?”
“Oh, you don’t become the best party planner by not having contacts!” Pinkie said casually with a wink. “I’m going all out! Even have a bounce mansion coming in!”
“Bounce… mansion?”
“Yep yep yep! On the other side of town!” The pink pony said with a squee. “Don’t worry, it won’t go to waste, a rich balloon animal family will move in as soon as we’re done!”
Just as she said that, a small trio of balloon animals wearing monocles, suits, and fancy dresses floated by, gave Sylvia a snooty but somewhat polite nod before continuing on their way.
Sylvia decided to shake off the feeling of complete insanity occurring in front of her. As the second of command her, it was nothing new to her, but this Pinkie Pie was a whole new level.
“Well, keep up the good work!” She said encouragingly.
“Thanks! I know I’ll make you happy with the end results!”
Sylvia turned to walk away when she saw a giant sign darkening the square.
“Uh, Pinkie? What is that?”
The pony leapt around to see what she’s looking at.
“Oh! The birthday sign board! That’s everyone who’s having a birthday this week, letting them know we haven’t forgotten them!”
Sylvia looked it over, over 30 names in all, days ranging from a few days before or even a week ahead.
“Wow, did you get this info from the registry?” Asked Sylvia, still shocked at the detail.
“Nope, I just pulled them from memory! I remember everything about my friends!”
“You’re friends with everybody in Ambrosia?”
Suddenly, Pinkie noticed her watch before cartoonishly gasping.
“Sorry, I got to go, the pool filled with jello is supposed to arrive now!”
“Pool full of- PINKIE?”
But the horse was long gone. Sylvia, standing, mouth agape, simply shrugged and went back to work.

Town streets were bustling, orders for party supplies being delivered by townspeople, or people and creatures alike who drove small delivery trucks and wore cute matching hats. The street was happy, the venue was being decorated, and Gildarts was napping through it all. It was the first real sleep he’d gotten since…
Gilllldarts, Gillldarts. Are you there, great Prime? You can’t sleep your worries away forever, you know what they say, right? No rest for the wicked. Ha ha ha...
Even if Gildarts was a heavy sleeper, and hadn’t caught any Z’s for days, it was pretty hard to ignore a voice talking from inside your head, rousing you from your slumber. Especially one so malicious as this…
The middle-aged Prime blinked and looked around, it was sunny, with a touch of bloated cloud passing by. The sky was a blue hue, like a picture painted with perfection. A breeze whispered past as his eyes adjusted and his ears realized the vivid sound of busy people scurrying along. The Prime allowed a gentle smile to graze his cheeks as he felt the kitten curled up on his lap, his fingertips pet her soft-fur and she nuzzled deeper into his hand.
The mage exhaled a sigh as his eyes rolled around the quaint little town of Ambrosia, grazing the cobblestone streets, the mostly brick buildings, the beautiful park bench he’d collapsed on. It felt good to feel safe and comfortable, but that wasn’t something that felt natural to him. Where there was serenity, there was always something to smash it to bits. And for Gildarts, that line was a fine tightrope of danger. The Malefactor’s voice was sandpaper, eventually, someday, it would snap. When it did, Gildarts hoped to be far away from anything living, always running from his fears, never quite getting ahead. It was a torturous life, but it was his, and the suffering made the good parts even better in the contrast of bitter and sweet.
He took a deep breath in, and released it. The sunlight glowed against the rustic brick and the set the windows alight with glare. He thought about the day to come, Molly, her gift, he had to pick one out. He’d never been a father to anyone, so this would be a first, it was a little scary, how doing a new thing places someone out of their comfort zone. Hell, he’d hardly ever gone shopping in his entire life, but being around girlish things for ten year olds would help him find something for her.
Hacking genius and sass master, Molly.
Ah, I see you answered my call, I just wanted to let you know that I was around and thinking of what a great day it is. Isn’t that nice?
Her voice chided letting Gildarts know she was up to something and that was when the Prime was struck. Horror, fear, shock, and trepidation all caused his face to convulse with terrific fright. His jaw had dropped, for he was not struck with a whip or anything that would cause damage to his flesh, no, instead, he was slapped with a picture of this very scene, however it was black-and-white, and everything was in ruin. The aftermath of what his crash magic could be.
He blinked again, and the corpses were gone. Again, and the isolated fade of color had returned to its normal spectrum. Once more, and the buildings were back, piled as man or beast or Prime had stacked them. Gildarts felt his heart beating as though he’d been hit with a funnel of lightning, his smile had been erased, but after a moment of realizing what he had seen was not real, he relaxed and it returned. She had no power over him, she was just a voice, a dark little thought in the corner of his mind. Something that would never be.
“Gildarts what’s wrong, you woke me up?” Piqui muttered, rubbing a fluffy chocolate paw over her eye.
“Sorry to wake you,” he said slowly and his smile only grew, “I was just so excited, I wanted to go shopping and peruse some stores to jog my mind for ideas.”
“Whoa, really?!” Piqui bounced up and down, hopping off the bench and pointing forth down the town’s street, “This way to the boutique!”
With the shop door opening, a chime rang, and gentle elevator music began to fill his ears, Gildarts, a disheveled prime who was always traveling, looked quite out of place in a female’s clothing store. One, he barely wore clothes, and two, he was tall enough to bump his head on the ceiling.
“Over here! Over here!” Piqui’s kitten-esque gestures were adorable as she lead him to the little girl’s rack, there, she held up two little dresses, one pink, the other blue. “So, what do you think?”
Gildarts blinked, clueless. He never really noticed people wore clothes before. Gildarts wore the same thing every day and he never realized when his peers had different attire. “Does she… Need it?”
“Little girls love cute things to wear!” Piqui nodded and the shop owner agreed.
“Hm…” Gildarts looked down at his own appearance and then back at the dresses, “I think we should try getting her a toy instead. Something she’d enjoy and smile and laugh from.”
“Hmm, that’s a good idea, she can buy dresses any time she wants,” Piqui nodded, thanked the shopkeeper with a wave and left.
The next store was fun and energetic, little gizmos and gadgets all around, some things with mechanical engines were flying in the air, this shop had a high ceiling, he was grateful he could stand as tall as he wanted. Magical butterflies floated aloofly across the free ceiling. One landed on Gildarts’ shoulder and another gracefully sat on his nose. The Prime blinked at the pretty shimmering blend of color on its slowly-batting wings. Then his eyes widened as his nose twitched like it was itching for a sneeze and he gently moved it off.
“They have board games and toy hoover cars and oh, this is the best store. They have this one section that has strings streaming from the sky! I could sit there for dayys,” Piqui purred as she referenced the balloon section.
For Gildarts, nothing really stood out. When the thought about his childhood, he didn’t have any toys he loved, just magic. He’d once crushed a ball he was tossing back and forth with Natsu when his mind had gotten away from him. No, for this gift, if he really wanted it to be perfect, he had to tap into his inner kid.
“Hmm. Let's go, I have an idea," he spoke as the jingle on the door chimed with a close.

Sylvia cracked open the door for the cake shop. She assumed it was open, even though the sign was half eaten and only read “OP” now.
The shop was called “The Usagi Sisters Baking Copany,” it was owned by these three rabbit creatures. The exact term for their species was “Mimiga,” and the only real feature that separated them from the many other rabbit species in Ambrosia, were their ears were droopy all the time. Considering there were already the crossing rabbits, the Zootopia rabbits, some of the moogles look rabbit-like, it was hard to keep them all straight sometimes.
As she crossed the portal into the shop, she saw two of the rabbits at their cooking stations in the back, all working on some sort of absurd dish. They didn’t even notice Sylvia has she walked in. What caught her attention the most was that one of the mimigas was suspended in the middle of the room by a rope while the she played the flute. The tune sounded like something out of a lullaby. Below her was a transparent bowl full of some strange rainbow colored substance.
She recognized the suspended mimiga as the sister Plum through her plaid purple frilly dress. The other two were named Limabean and Strawberry and the colors of their almost matching dresses reflected that.
After finishing the final notes of “Rock-a-bye-baby,” Plum pulled out her wand from the front of her apron and pointed it at herself. With a wave of sparkles, the rope undoes itself and she floated gently down to the ground. She slowly picked up the bowl and snuck towards the fridge where she placed it inside and shut it behind.
The purple clad rabbit wiped away a bead of sweat before noticed the human in her midst.
“Ah, Sylvia! It’s been forever!” Plum cried out gleefully.
It was now the other two mimigas looked over their shoulders for a moment to notice the second and command. They did not get up there, instead went back to their work. Limabean was slowly measuring out sugar by the grain, while the other was separating an egg bigger than herself in some sort of contraption.
“Yes, it has.” Started Sylvia, reverting her attention to the purple clad rabbit. “I was coming here to order a cake for Sylvia’s birthday party, but it appears you’re already on it.”
“Yeah, Pinkie Pie told us about it around 2 hours ago. We’ve been working on it ever since.”
“Two hours?” Sylvia replied, somewhat aghast. “Guu only gave the order like 30 minutes ago!”
“Yeah, she bust in here saying something about her knees being pinchy at the same time her tail was making sporadic circles, and somehow that relates to a giant party happening tomorrow.”
“That Pinkie Pie is surely a puzzle...” Sylvia said under her breath.
“Anyways, we’re working on the zap apple buttercream for tomorrow’s cake!” She said excitedly.
“Oh yeah, I was wondering what that was you were doing.”
“Oh!” She exclaimed excitedly. “I was singing it to sleep!”
“The cream needs to sleep?”
“The jam. This is when it’s still just jam.”
“The zap apple jam needs to sleep?”
“Yep, I mean it responds like it’s asleep despite it not being alive in anyway. It needs to remain in that state for 3 hours in the fridge or the cream won’t rise when we finally put everything together!”
Sylvia just stares dumbfounded, before Plum noticed her reaction and adds:
‘’Zap apples are a magic based fruit, it’s just funny that way.”
Meanwhile, elsewhere…
Tangled Green was an immensely vast place, behind every tree, and there were a lot of trees, was something new, a plant, a growing glowing piece of fungus, a new creature -a bear with the face of a gorilla, though it could have just been a gorrilla- the point was, it was HUGE. Cana Alberona didn’t have a clue where to start but her blood pulsed with magic, as though she were detecting another large source all around them. They’d crossed into this verse several hours ago, and so far all they had done was walk this little path that lead further and further into the dark forest’s depths. Plus, it was night time which made it all the more spooky, but Cassandra by her side seemed to know what she was doing, and where they were going.
“So, where are we going?” Cana finally asked, letting curiosity get the best of her and spoiling the crickets and various other evening calls.
“Well, we’ll go around to the villages, asking if anyone has seen him, unless we can somehow track him, or have any other way of telling if he’s in this verse.” Cassandra raised a brow. “There’s ninja villages, a certain large little town called Ambrosia, and if you look hard enough you can find the elves, it is rather simple, we continue to do what we have been, keep trying until we find traces of him.”
“I like how determined you are,” Cana spoke with a smile, “It’s quite wonderful, but I’m just not so sure we are as close as we think. What if he’s not even here?”
“Then we keep looking, come now Cana, you’re stronger than this, we can do it if we keep trying. You could put up some posters and hope he passes by to read them if you want to, but it might make him think someone is after his bounty, kind of a red flag even if you say you’re from the same guild.” Cassandra was mostly right, plus, Gildarts wasn’t the type to be looking at the scenery when he was on a job, in fact, he had to inhabit his mind like a shell more than usual as he was crossing into new places, as if it veered “off course” he’d no doubt break some trees, or houses.
“You’re right, I shouldn’t be so worried,” Cana smiled and was glad she didn’t have to do this journey alone.
Ambrosia
Gildarts was smiling, grinning ear to ear, his stubble was hanging off of his handsome features like pine needles from a tree branch, a little thicker than normal. The mage had finally wrapped perfection. And by wrapped, it is obvious that a mage who breaks things when he tries not to, used Omnillium, one power he hadn’t been so cursed with. It was useful and helped Gildarts with the drawbacks of his own magic… To an extent.
The presents were wrapped to perfection, both wrapped in pink boxes and ribboned with purple bows. Piqui, the kitten exceed lead the way to Guu’s great house, had a little trouble reaching the door handle and Gildarts lifted her up, she nodded her “thank you though she really didn’t need it” face and she climbed the stairs. Gildarts left the presents in the hallway and forgot about them completely, their labels signed “To Molly, from G” and “To Princess Guu, from Gil” yes, his princess got one too. A reason he hadn’t signed them his full name was well, because he didn’t usually get that far when writing a sentence without breaking something and he wasn’t going to risk it in a populated area.
Gildarts followed Piqui up the stairs, taking his time just as his four legged friend did, and hoisting himself up, leg by organic leg. When they’d reached the top, Gil had expected to open a door and there Molly would be, waiting and embracing him for a hug, lights on, maybe she was looking at her computer too long and welcomed the sight of him. However, the door was closed, and when Piqui snuck silently in, they both found the room dark, and Princess Guu and Molly were both sleeping soundly. Piqui hopped up with her cat-like balance and Gildarts smiled at the three of them, together as a family.
The Prime looked down at his hands, one steel, the other organic. The sense that he was an outsider, looking in just as he was, presented itself on his mind. His expression lapsed into one more solemn and serious. He took a breath and tried not to dwell on the steel of his hand, but focus instead on the one that still retained warmth, the one that still received his heartbeat.
Upon closing the door, he went over to sit at the edge of the bed, like a protective father would find himself doing after he’d been away at work for ungodly hours, and returned home only to find his entire family asleep. Before he knew it, he’d found the bed so comfortable, he was sprawled along the foot of it, crashed out, and wholly asleep.

The Pinkie stood in front of a giant pile of plastic, just lying on the ground. The pony went through her tweets one last time, before throwing a hoof into the air.
“Do it!” She cried out with a mile wide smile on her face.
The family of balloon animals all tipped forward in agreement with her words, all five air pumps whirred into life and started to chug away. The plastic in front of them started to slowly inflate, slowly standing up on its own. Air traveled from the bottom and into the support beams, then they travelled into the additional floors.
It took thirty minutes of chugging, but eventually, the sagging lopsided mess became a full sized building that occupied an empty spot at the end of town. Over two-hundred rooms in all, many of them guest rooms that are fully furnished with beds, dressers, and a full-sized mirror. There was a luxurious kitchen, a fully-functioning oven, microwave, refrigerator, and toaster. The cooking area was bigger than most studio apartments. The inflated building had a ballroom with DJ booth and concessions table. It had a gaming room with all the best balloon related games running off inflated cabinets. It even had five bathrooms, though the toilet weren’t recommended for use.
The onlookers outside gawked at the latest addition to the Ambrosian cityscape. Pinkie smiled with glee at her latest creation. The bounce mansion, in all three stories of its glory, was complete.
“This party is going to be EPIC!” Yelled out Pinkie, her voice almost echoing against the cobbled streets.

One.
That was all it took. One tear in Molly’s pillow, so minute, it was the size the nail of her pinky finger.
A singular feather weaseled its way out of the pillow and gently floated over to land directly on someone’s nose. That someone was sleeping at the bottom of the bed horizontal to Molly and Guu’s vertical slumber. That same someone had facial hair forming into a thicker beard, it had been a while since he shaved, and things were getting more than prickly. These spikes had brushed up against Molly’s toes, in which she, captured by her dreams, kicked at the porcupine chasing her because it wanted her cone of pistachio ice cream.
Gildarts didn’t even flinch, he too, was transfixed by his dreams, as dark and mysterious as they were, when the feather itched his nose and was kicked aside by Molly the swirl of color behind his eyelids changed along with the dream. Unfortunately, while the feather had been narrowly avoided, Piqui’s kitty tail had replaced the tickling might of the feather.
First, all Gildarts’ nose did was wiggle at the tickle, however, when Piqui’s tail flexed up and down several times, that was all it took to ignite the flame of his allergies. One, two, SNEEZE!
AHHH CHOOOOOO!
Fortunately for the three girls, the covers had protected them, and the bed had taken most of the blow. The blow, being Gildarts’ enormous might, his involuntary power had caused the bed to fall apart down to the bed’s frame. Everything was in cubes from little balls of sheet to the little cubes of wood!
And of course, not to mention Guu, Gildarts, Molly, and Piqui who had all crashed down onto the ground in the middle of their slumber. The room was still dark, and Molly wiped the confusion away from her eyes, stood up and tripped over a cold steely substance, and then stood up again, reaching for the lightswitch and missing.
“What was that?” Piqui pronounced and using her nocturnal vision groaned, “Gilllldarts, why do you always break the things I hold most dear?” Gildarts and Guu both hadn’t moved, Piqui prodded the wizard’s face with her paw, “Gildarts, hey, wake up! You broke the bed!”
“Gil… Darts?” her voice pitched in, a gasp expelled from her lungs as the switch flicked on, and her dream came true. He’d come home! He’d come home! She aimed a running jump ontop of him and hugged him into the ground.
“Ah!” Gildarts shot up while his eyes looked around, alert for enemies and attackers. “Oh! Molly!” he smiled reciprocated the hug, careful about his embrace and remembering to keep it as light as a feather. Else, he might squish her.
Guu groaned as the lights flicked on and moved her hand over her eyes, wiping away the dust from her dreams. “You’re just in time!” Molly giggled, “Guu! Your present was bringing back Gildarts in time all along wasn’t it?!”
Her smile bright, though her blonde hair was a mess, must’ve taken ten hair combs to even get her hair into pig-tails, “Am I right?!!!”
Guu blinked, “Yep, sorry I didn’t gift wrap him. It was kind of spur of the moment.”
“Ah, he always is, isn’t he?” Molly nodded and kept hugging him. Gil’s eyes were still half closed, the half moon shadows he’d had for circles below them were however, mostly gone. “What a wonderful pre-birthday surprise!”
“Eh-hem, will no one realize that Gildarts broke the bed?!” Piqui was looking down at the cubed pillow, her heartache quite apparent on her face.
“Oh! Sorry, I’ll make a new one once I.. Stand!” Gildarts jumped to his feet, “Are you ready for this!” he flung Molly on his back, initiating the world’s best piggy back ride as he jumped out of the second-story room through a hole his magic had made in the wall.
Gildarts landed squarely on his two feet, keeping his hands securely on Molly so she didn’t fall off, and then he started to run around town, dodging people and things as they weaved around them.
Piqui’s jaw japed open while Guu’s gaze simply followed the two who had gone off on a piggy back adventure without her! “He just… Left us with… The bed like this! Dang it Gildarts!!!” Piqui called down to them, but the cat’s caterwaul was drown out by Molly’s overjoyed laughing.
“Hey wait a minute, there would’ve been room enough for me too!” Guu turned over the the young winged kitten when they were out of sight, “Does that really surprise you? It is Gildarts we’re talking about here.”
Piqui blinked at the cubed pillow in her paws, “Just remember to keep him away from the birthday cake! He'll sneeze it into little tiny bits!”

Quote:The diplomacy thing between Ambrosia and the Avengers takes place at some point between the last post and this one. Leaving this disclaimer here so we can still abide by the rules but not have to rush that topic along just so this topic can continue.
The rest of the day, the citizens of Ambrosia continued to work. Even with Pinkie's forewarning, the preparations took up much of the day. Come nightfall, the party planners were all pooped, even the Pink pony herself conked out easily in her home that night. Meanwhile, the rest of the city drifted into pleasant dreams, knowing that the following day would be one to remember.

As the sun rolled up from the horizon the next day and parted their way through the trees to touch the town, the people of Ambrosia barely rustled in their beds when the final touches of the party has been put into motion. Pinkie was up uncharacteristically early today, though when your clock ticks to the rhythm of a sound machine, mornings were just delayed nights.
The pink one checked over her check list, once, twice, the scanned the city, peering at each attraction. Her volunteers checked all the circuits, the absurd network of wires, just making sure everything was in place and in order. They had no worry of a shortage, the fierce currents that make up the underground reservoir gave them all the power they’d ever need, but all the water in the world couldn’t save them from any loose plugs. In fact, water would make matters worse in that situation.
As soon as her volunteers returned, she checked over her checklist again, which only had six items on it to begin with. She took her eyes away from the board, placing in her hair in which it disappeared into her bushy curls. She placed her right front leg on her chest and breathed in deep, then extended it out forward as she exhaled. This breath exercise was more Twilight’s thing, but Pinkie had to admit, it came useful in stressful moments like these.
Her nerves calmed, she looked up at the beaver, his paw a lever, waiting for the pony’s order. With a single nod, the flat-tailed mammal flipped the switch.
The power traveled down the way, snaking through the empty streets, sending light to hundreds of paper lanterns. As slowly the city lit up, they pony’s eyes glimmered as well.
Amongst the city wide party, a great number of attractions have been set up. The bounce mansion and the pool full of jello were of the first additions, but many more now dart the horizon.
A ferris wheel, an addition put together by the efforts of a local circus group, towered over the city, giving its riders a perfect view. Though, not as much of a view as you’d get from the rollercoaster. A group of pegasi arranged an elaborate one out of clouds that twist and turn all over town. The some of the fastest pegasi pull the carts themselves, giving one hell of a ride.
The moogles have put together a giant toy dispenser that you’d need to use your full body to twist the nob. With a few om coins and a bit of effort, it releases giant capsules with human sized dolls inside. At the town’s park, a giant art gallery is going on. Paintings and sculptures, human and non-human alike.
As the morning continued, businesses all over town have set up stalls to peddle their wares, just lining the street with tables full of goods from all over the Omniverse, some even exclusive to Ambrosia.
And as one last added surprise, random piles of fireless fireworks have been placed all over town. Just a harmless explosion of light that goes off at strong emotions of love; romantic or platonic.
In the town square is a pile of presents for Molly that’s slowly getting more and more ridiculous in size.
Pinkie watched for hours. She so wanted to join in the festivities, but at the same time, she wanted to bask in the world she created. When she finally moved to join the party, she could almost feel a tear roll down her cheek.
This was the third best day of her life.

Cana groaned, “Ugh, somehow I got covered in… ICK!”
Cassandra raised her eyebrows, “What’s the matter, you didn’t see it coming?”
“Oh, ha-ha, very funny, I’m all gross and slobbered on and you’re strutting with a newfound smile, at my expense,” Cana rolled her eyes, head to toe, especially stuck in her hair, was a substance never known before to man. It had once been jelly from a caterpillar, now, she’d walked under the wrong branch and SPLAT! Goo soaking up her new clothes and squishing with every step her feet would take.
“Look! There’s a clearing up ahead!” Cassandra said with a nimble point of her hand.
“Really? I’m saved from this sludge! Do you think we’ve stumbled on one of their villages? Do you… Think they’d let me shower?” Cana said smiling with her cheeks hot with embarrassment.
“Haha let’s first see if they speak english and aren’t hostile, shall we? Don’t forget the basics,” Cassandra smiled and her fangs gleamed in the newfound twilight. “Would you look at that? We’ve been walking all night.”
“Better bust out your hat…” Cana muttered under her breath, her feet still squishing.
“The sign says Ambrosia, is that where your drunkard bar friend told you to go and find him?” Cassandra jeered.
“DRUNKEN? Humph! Just because you can’t handle a drink doesn’t make me a drunk!” Cana growled. But she was tired and had been walking all night, her feet were blistering and she’d been layered in ick for hours and walking around this dismal path, encountering creatures and creepy crawlers of the night.
“I’ll forget you didn’t say that,” Cassandra warned, “Let’s just go to the village and see what we can find out… And definitely get you to a bath.”
They walked in on cobblestone streets and it looked like just a normal little town. It was adorable, quaint, and very shower-compatible. “One shower please!” Cana burst out as she entered a random shop, good thing that shop was directly next to an inn which could accommodate them with not only a shower, but a pair of beds. Cana eagerly nodded and Cassandra went over to the diner, called The Sty and Fry, strolling casually and doing her best to keep up appearances, she’d get a to-go meal for her companion and ask some for some intel on their mission. Perhaps even dine on a cuppa joe.
Ring-ring! the door chimed as she entered, the vampire cast a cold darkness across the room and settled for a seat at the breakfast bar.
Ring-ring! the door opened again and the bell clattered behind him with the closing of the door. Heavy boots clunked forward and he too sat beside the vampire.
An anthropomorphic pig came out to greet her two travelers, “Hi y’all! My name’s Mina, how can I help ya?” She had a broad smile and her eyes were as welcoming as her voice.
“Ladies first,” the man’s voice was low-toned and polite.
Cassandra nodded, “Cup of coffee please, and may I order a meal to-go?”
“Sure thing darlin’ can I offer you anything to eat presently?” Mina filled the plain white mug with the warm java.
“No thanks, to-go for me.” Cassandra confirmed and Mina extended a menu next to her joe.
The male to her left also ordered coffee and a special french-style omelette, he picked up a fork with his silver hand and chomped on a bite while she pointed to the menu and said she wanted this meal to-go. It was mainly a random item she’d pointed to, which she could only guess her human companion Cana would enjoy.
Whoa, he could eat! In a whirlwind, he’d packed away the serval eggs and his biscuit. Next he was guzzling his coffee. The empty clunk of his mug hit the table and with a smile he boasted, “That was a wonderful breakfast!”
“You really know how to chow down sugar, care for dessert? We have pie,” the pig offered out a refill on the coffee too, but he just shook his head.
“That’s enough coffee too, thanks!” He offered her a smile as big as she had when they’d first walked in the door.
“How about you honey?” Mina offered, the vampire shook her head and the check was brought.
Cassandra reached for her wallet and saw that it was empty, her eyes darted around nervously and the man beside her waved his silver hand, noticing her immediate shame and lack of money, “Don’t worry, I’ll cover us both. I was once like you y’know, traveling and not a penny to my name. Here, keep the change.”
The waitress smiled in thanks and he stood up and walked out the door as simply as he had walked in. Cassandra placed her hand on Cana’s breakfast, “Will that be all?” Mina asked Cassandra if she wanted seconds on the coffee.
“Um, yes, foodwise, but may I ask if you’ve seen a mage named Gildarts? Me and my friend are actually looking for him and we heard he had some sort of affiliation with this town?” the vampire proposed.
“Ha-ha, that’s a funny question, most everyone here knows about Gildarts, one of the most powerful primes I’ve ever seen, also, he just bought your breakfast sugar,” Mina winked and Cassandra froze. Replaying the image at the corner of her eye of the man’s face, the streak of auburn hair and the unmistakable presence he’d cast with his spirit once he’d been fed. He seemed like a simple, tortured kind of man. It was interesting how without knowing it, he’d just bought his daughter a meal. Interesting how fate is intertwined so simply.
“Uh, where do you think he’s going next?” Cassandra asked hurriedly.
“Well, I imagine he’s going to enjoy some of the town’s festivities, it’s a little girl’s birthday today and the whole town is celebrating!” Mina spoke with a slight, homey accent.
Cassandra ran out the door with the meal in her hands and shouted, “Thanks!” as she dashed off.

Guu decided to leave Molly entirely in Gildarts hands today. She could come with them, but the child would see way more of her in the coming weeks, meanwhile who knows if Gildarts will even stay that long.
After skipping breakfast, she left the palace early, Sylvia beside her, already jotting things down for the day ahead on her clipboard.
“Let’s see, the cake comes later tonight, presents are piling up, Molly has quite a day ahead of her.” Said Sylvia, almost like she was reading that statement directly from the page.
Guu did not respond at first, just following along, almost as if she was in thought. I mean, she wasn’t, but still.
When they reached the front gate, the two were distracted by the a volley of balloons floating up.
“Hope that’s not going to pollute, can’t afford to piss off the elves.” Stated Sylvia.
Guu stretched one of her arms out to touch one of the balloons. It immediately popped, the outer layer disappearing, as if it were a bubble.
“Huh, well, okay then!” The punk second in command responded. “Well, I probably should make sure the mafia aren’t doing anything nefarious today. You have fun today!”
Then she was off, running off down the street, leaving Guu with her semi-existent thoughts.

Somewhere, deep in someone’s basement, hidden away in the outer reaches of Ambrosia, a group of women and one man gather in a dark, smoke filled room. The poker table they surrounded was covered in photo and documents detailing their alleged horrific history. They also had playing card out, from the looks of it, they were playing Go Fish.
Also, no one had been smoking.
One of the women appeared out of the dark and joined the group at the head of the table. She straightens her tie as the others bow respectfully.
“Hoi Godtemmie!” Said the others, their cat-like ears twitching, their dog like tails wagging, revealing their respect for their esteemed leader.
The big cheese took her seat in the big chair. Then she got off, stacked five pillows, and then got back on.
“Teh humuns are sellebratin de retun of dere prinncest!” Stated the headtemmie, her voice booming over the others. “Ittis de tyme to striike! Dey won susspe-suspet-sespect a thin!”
The other cat dog people cheered in favor of the malicious and evil plan as the pound ther paws against the table, causing the misplaced doritos to jump about in their wake.
Suddenly, a familiar punk rocker girl appears in the room, causing all the temmies to jump in their seats.
“Yuck, smells like a locker room in here.” She said in the most coherent thing stated in this post thus far.
“Sylvia. Our morta enema!” Cried out the godtemmie. “How dod u find us?”
The gothic second in command didn’t say a word. Instead, she dumped an armful of cute animal and children magazines on their table and left.
“Kiddins!” Cried one Temmie.
“Humuns!” Cried another.
“Puppeees!” Cried the Godtemmie.
The group would proceed to look at pictures in magazine for hours.

"Good morning Molly," Gildarts smiled, "Happy Birthday!"
He barged in and Molly wasn't quite ready, so she hollered, "Gildarts I'm not ready! Give a girl some privacy."
Gildarts blinked, she was fully clothed, so he couldn't see why she wasn't ready. Most women were fickle beasts, he let her be and after what seemed like no time to Gildarts, but the Malefactor was keeping track, it had been twenty more minutes, Molly was ready and greeted him with a hug.
"How are you today Gildarts?" She asked him.
"Why, I'm lovely, and you dear?" He said kindly.
"Hmm, your eyes have a bit of sorrow behind them, but that's okay, we all feel a little sad when we feel happy. Did you have a bad dream?" She asked. She'd grown up in this past year.
"Haha! How did you know?" He exclaimed, truly surprised. His dream had been somewhat disturbing. Some girl named Sam had used the image of his body and mirrored his magic in order to fight for a war which only males were allowed to fight in. It was ridiculous, the entire notion of it, but it had felt so real, he'd been impersonated at least for a good cause, the human race was being threatened and the world was ending. The only perturbing thing was how did she know he existed? Had she peered into his story and been inspired like over some crystal ball? Some dreams don't offer answers, but it was unique, and never had he felt as strong as in the moment where he was free to unleash his magic on the enemy without holding back.
"Well don't worry Gildarts, sometimes we have scary dreams to remind us to appreciate this moment," her hand found his silver hand, and he hadn't quite realized, as he didn't have feeling in the hand, until he felt her tug his arm.
"My, you are truly beyond your years!" He smiled to her and they strolled out. A birthday princess, and her armorless, armless knight. They ascended the stairs of their great mansion home and Gildarts asked, "Where would you like to go first?"
"Hmph, let me see..." she said with tones of impending sass in her voice.
"I know there's a lot of events, but for some reason, I want to go visit someone first, if that's okay?" She asked and looked at Gil with puppy dog eyes.
He shrugged and wasn't sure why it was his decision, "Sure?"
"Yay! I can introduce you to granny!" And she bolted down the street. Gildarts quickened his pace, but his peg leg made running fast on cobblestone difficult without tripping on the uneven grooves. The prime maintained his consistent pace, unsure if he was ready to meet, this "Granny" especially because of the last one he'd met had wrecked a casino around him.
He walked up some steps to a quieter part of town and followed Molly's scampering feet down a hallway. She paused and waited by the door, which was closed and waited for Gildarts to open it and go on in. His heavy boots clunked his way along as he followed Molly's lead through the door and the short blonde girl had extreme energy in her step.
As he walked in through the doorway, over Molly's tiny, child shoulder he saw a bed extended out and an older person laying in it. He was either standing in a nursing home or a hospital.
In the bed there was an elderly woman with pearl colored, curled hair sitting with the sheets tightly wrapped over her feeble and petite frame. Across from the bed was a TV, flicked off, on her right was a nice window overlooking the forest of green. There were two potted plants on there and the window was open so that the sunshine could pour in and feed the beautiful flowers within the clay vase.
Molly was occupying one of the chair's next to the woman's bedside and holding her hand. One aged and wrinkled and stained with liver spots, the other young and fresh and vital and not fully formed. It was practically symbolic. In fact, it was even more so sentimental.
"Molly dear, it is so good to see you!" Her voice wavered like someone who was over a hundred might. It was kind and graceful, and regarded Molly as a treasure of a child, especially when she smiled.
"Granny! This is Gildarts! I told you he'd come today! I was so excited, I wanted him to meet you." Molly smiled and looked over to Gildarts, the strongest male prime she knew. Princess Guu was the strongest girl.
"My, what a dashing young man you are!" She said delighted and used her other hand to greet him. He extended his silver hand, and she was shocked by the cold kiss of metal. But it didn't shake her. Gildarts supposed he was young compared to her. But give him another century or two and he'd likely age just the same.
"It's a pleasure to meet you... Granny," he had followed Molly's lead.
"Molly here has told me much about you, and to be frank I wasn't sure you'd come today, you're a busy Prime with a lot on your plate. Never bite off more than you can chew." She winked at Gil through her gold-rimmed spectacles.
"What has she said?" Gildarts asked cordially.
"Hmm, that you're a hero, but you treat yourself like a villain, that you're kind to those who don't necessarily deserve it, and that you're one of her inspirations," Granny spoke proudly beaming through her silky wrinkled age-lines.
"Oh?" Gildarts blinked, letting this fall into his mind and settle, "Well, it is always an honor to inspire the young."
"Gilly and I went on an adventure together, and I still have dreams about it! But last night, he had a bad dream, so I tried to tell him it was okay. He's always so polite, like a dad, but sometimes he doesn't know how to be normal." Molly surmised.
"Well, it isn't a normal world we live in, nor did he come from one," she said looking up at him with delight sparking in her eyes as she remembered her own youth.
"Enjoy your youth Gildarts, don't worry so much." It was easy to said but she had no idea.
Yes Gildarts, enjoy me while you still have me. I could be in another's hands faster than you know, the Malefactor's voice haunted his thoughts on cue
"Thank you," he spoke cordially, "I'll try."
"That's a good boy. Anywho, Molly comes around almost every morning, sometimes she brings me treats, I imagine tomorrow morning I'll get delicious leftover cake," Granny giggled like an excited child.
"Do you like him?" Molly whispered into Granny's ear.
"Of course I do Molly, he's your friend!" She assured the child.
Meanwhile Gildarts kept his hands behind his back and watched them share a moment. Their whispers and giggles reminded Gildarts that age was an illusion, he saw the life in both of them, even though Granny was crippled from the waist-down, she did not let that ruin the last of her days.
They spent some time in the room together, Granny had many stories to tell, and about an hour had passed before Granny finally prompted Molly to leave, "Go off and enjoy your birthday! You'll see me tomorrow. Hit the piñata for me! And eat lots of candy! Hehe!"
She had such zest in life, her eyes were slanted upwards with a smile that resembled two twin mountains with light gently hitting them on the horizon. "Aww Granny! Well, I'll be sure to bring you some cake tomorrow!"
"Please do," Granny said to Molly, "Corner piece please."
"Sure thing," she promised.
Gildarts heard something in the woman's voice though. It was sorrow, as though layered in with the joy brimming from the lady's spirit.
Molly and Granny parted with a hug and she went out the door. Gildarts left second and last, leaning over her bedside to shake her hand cordially.
"It was a great honor to meet you," her tense, was was trifling. He smiled and like the noble man and wizard he was.
"The honor and pleasure was mine. When Gildarts' broad shoulders moved from the open, sunny window pane, two new things joined the lady's plants.
One was a beautiful new potted plant, to add to her flower collection and bedside garden. The next was a slice of cake. Gildarts had a feeling she'd prefer enjoying it tonight, and he had been correct. The prime followed the little girl down the hallway on her birthday, as he left the elderly woman to eat her final slice of cake, and pass on into eternal oblivion in the quietness of the night. She did it with a hope for the young's bright future, and a smile on her face as she looked over her glowing flowers and up into the stars.

The air was was thick with joy, as the residents of Ambrosia took to the streets. They frequented the booths which were doing the best business of their entire time in the city. Lines formed around the block for each of the attractions, the rollercoaster pretty much ran constantly, and they had to bring in a second cart to mitigate some of the growing crowd. Even the bounce mansion had to create a line and even set time limits to some of the guests as they were dangerously close to reaching the load limit. You don’t want to see a balloon animal when they are upset.
Guu decided to try the stalls first. Aromas wafted from every which direction, which didn’t matter to the princess as she lacked a nose. One location did catch her eye though.
It was a stall barely slapped together out of cardboard reading “Glam Burgers.” A strange orange cat person was manning the front as he flipped glitter covered patties on a grill.
As the pink one approached, he immediately noticed her. She was a spitting image from all the photos and t-shirts he had seen. As she reached the front of his stall, he took a deep breath and faced the princess.
“Greetings your highness, would you like a Glam Burger? On the the house...” He nearly kicked himself for offering it for free when he was on the ropes money-wise to begin with, but then again if he could get her to eat one of his burgers, he’d be set for advertising.
“Actually, I don’t eat meat.” She said, bluntly.
“Oh, I swear, there is no meat product in these!” He tried to reason, desperately.
“Actually, I don’t eat food.” She replied bluntly.
“Oh, well, I swear there isn’t any food in this either!”
“I don’t want the burger.” Blunt as ever.
“Then what do you want?” He cried out, his frustrations now clear.
Then Guu took out a laser pointer and aimed it behind him. His expression was incredulous.
“Excuse me, I maybe a cat monster, but I have restraint and respect for-”
Mid-statement he leapt after the laser pointer, clawing at the wall behind him.
Smiling, Guu put the pointer away, left a tip and walked away. The cat straighten himself, wiping away a bead of sweat on his forehead. He regained his spot behind the counter and sighed before flipping another burger.

"Gildarts is here. And he bought you breakfast by extension, isn't that cool?" Cassandra said with a smile as she analyzed Cana's face. Her cheeks had been churning with the stuffing of food inside her mouth.
"What?!" Cana spat out a small chunk of food and stood up shocked, her eyebrows raised like mountains and excitement glittered in her eyes, "Really?"
"Really, we can go look for him when you're done, though I think someone mentioned something about a festival going on around town... That shouldn't throw a wrench in our plans too much though. How hard could it be to find a Prime as known as Gildarts is in a small town like this?" Cassandra said, unknowingly jinxing their mission.
"Wow," Cana said with a gulp, "I'm so excited... Finally." The Fairy Tail witch crammed down the rest of the food, so much so that it choked her a bit on the way down. She swished a comb through her hair, grabbed her satchel and headed for the door of their room at the inn.
...
Gildarts wiggled his nose as the wind itched him with a sneeze as though someone had been talking about him. He shrugged it off, it was probably nothing anyway, plus today's job was to enjoy the day with Molly, the precious little girl he'd saved from a life of being an orphan.
The duo were back on the town now, walking along the streets, she with a grand smile, a tiara, and a noble strut. Her princess dress was a mixture of pink and purple and it appeared to be made silk as it glimmered with a sheen of satin. It swayed in the sun and wind and was very eloquent for the occasion. Gildarts hadn't dressed up at all, but his black cape was whisking in the wind and dancing behind their gallant stroll.
"What'll you do next?" Gildarts asked while his eyes looked up at the tweeting birds.
"Hmm, I think it's too late to do the pinata, we could..." she put her finger on her chin as she thought over some of the events around town. "Gildarts, do you ever get homesick?"
"Homesick?" Gildarts felt his eyebrows raise.
"Yeah, cause you're not from here, you were taken from your world just like me, created her for whatever Omni's divine plan is, but you have to feel homesick sometimes for the things and people you knew." She wagered.
"I thought we were deciding what we were doing next for your birthday," the Prime smiled, she was procrastinating and he had caught her, but that didn't mean she didn't want an answer either, "Sure, I do miss it, and my old guild, they're my family and I hope to see them again someday, but life is strange and throws us some obstacles. Here in Ambrosia it's a lot like home because of the happy, friendly faces I'm surrounded by. Out there, in the Omniverse, it's a lot like home too, because of all the dangers I have to face to make a difference in the world, as well as complete the jobs I take on."
"Hmm." Molly nodded. "Do you ever miss me and Guu here in Ambrosia?"
Gildarts stopped and knelt down to look levelly in her eyes, "Of course I do. I miss your smiles the most."
He stood up and they walked on. "Gildarts let's have a squirt-gun fight."
"I'm not sure that is in the party plan, though I can't quite make out what's written on all of it because of the hoof-print back round. Well, sure, why not?" Gildarts shrugged.
"Gildarts you have to make the squirt-guns." she said while her arms crossed across her torso.
"Well, you'll have to change if you don't want your dress ruined too," he quipped back.
"I think the squirt gun fight will be SUPER fun because the water should be dyed different colors! I want the pink one! I want the pink one!" the girl chanted.
"Alright then, in that case what if the participants wore white to accentuate the different colors. At the end, we'll all look like rainbows." Molly agreed with the nod of her head and couldn't believe how ingenious it was while Gildarts got started on the artillery.

Guu moved her way down the street, her head filled with clouds. She just met the dreamiest of cats, a handsome cat man running a burger joint. She had to keep herself composed, she was a princess, she couldn’t go after burger flipping carnival faire, plus anyways, a cat that freakin hot probably have girls clawing at him for his attention. Best he doesn’t get exposed to the life of royalty anyways.
To keep her mind off the issue, she waddled her way to the line to the roller coaster. Much to her surprise, each person let her cut ahead. It’s as if everyone knew her and she was the ruler of the city or something.
Once to the front of the line, the yellow pegasus kindly bowed as she got into the cart.
“Enjoy the ride, Princess!”
She had to get in one of the smaller seats in the back to accommodate her height and weight. In retrospect, she should have taken her adult form, but it was a tad late now.
As the cart filled up, some were thrilled to be in the same ride as the highness herself. One of the pegasi pulled down the restraints, locking the riders in place.
“Please keep your hands, feet, and tails inside the cabin until the ride has met its completion!”
With everyone secure, the two pegasi in front looked back at the group for one last quick safety check before dashing off onto the clouds.
They rode up above the city, seeing the festivities and attractions from up high. The people looked like ants all the way up there. With a sway, the cart flew down by the palace, giving everyone a great view of the city’s center piece.
With another dash, they flew passed main street where a bunch of merchants waved at the oncoming cart.
A swoosh and they flew passed the bounce mansion.
With another, they were at the ferris wheel.
Then the pegasi take them for a ride, flying higher and higher, going in loops, spins, rolls in the air, before diving straight down towards the street and swooping just before dipping below tthe buildings. The cart rolled in back to the station. The patrons look thrilled as they passed the yellow pegasi, but Guu looked somewhat dissatisfied.
“What’s wrong Princess? Did you not like the ride?”
“Oh it was okay.” She said, waving a hand at him to dissuade his concerns. “Just not as thrilling when you can already fly as fast as that.”
