Cole woke up, drowsy. Why was it so bright? Was that a... fountain? He remembered oddly that this place was called... an Omniverse? Wait.... what the hell is an Omniverse? Suddenly he remembered. Something called Omni had brought him here. There was a thing called "Omnilium", which would let him get what he desired. Cole shook, his head, confused. And he... couldn't die, apparently. At least, that's what the Omni had said. This was certainly a strange turn of events. But it wasn't necessarily bad; from what Cole had heard, this world was almost better than the real world. He couldn't die, so he could spend as much time as he wanted just enjoying himself. But then he saw the ring on his finger and remembered that he must fight to help others, to fight injustice. Cole stood up and looked around. Like he saw before, this place was bright, very bright. Pure white all around him, except for a white and blue fountain with a large pool of water underneath. There were many people walking around this world, all looking very different, and some even being children. This was certainly a strange world. Cole began to walk, not in any specific direction, looking for someone to teach him about this world.

Groaning as he walked through the Nexus, Ricky knew that for now, he had to obey Wild Card. Warren had ordered him to do the task of patrolling the Nexus and hunting for suitable primes that could prove to be useful to him. Why Warren needed so many primes, Ricky had no clue. Yet in the interests of not pissing his boss off, Ricky had to toe the line. After all, without Warren's help, he couldn't transform into his guardian form, and that was one of the reasons he had allied with the Quarterback of Chaos. As distasteful as it was, both of them needed one another at least until the current situation could be suitably resolved. "You must be new here..." said Ricky as he approached Cole and examined him. Cole was definitely a new prime, and that meant that Warren was probably interested in him. If he played his cards right, Warren might allow him one of his friends from back home brought to the Omniverse or even Richard Zimmer brought who could build him a suitable NFL-R that didn't need Warren.
"I could show you around the Omniverse if you need me to be your guide." said Ricky as he examined Cole. Definitely a Fountain Fresh Prime, that much was for certain, but he didn't know what Cole was capable of. Ricky continued. "There is a small fee if I am to do so, however. In return for this service you will meet my boss when he is free. What do you say?"

Cole looked up as a person walked near him. It was a slim teenager, probably a few years younger than him. But if Omni was to be believed, and you couldn't die, perhaps you couldn't age either. So this person could easily be older than him, much older. The boy talked, saying that he could show him around the Omniverse. Clearly, Cole was making it obvious that he was new here. But the boy had said there was a price. Cole began to get worried, but the boy merely said that Cole would need to see his boss. That was it? It seemed simple... far too simple. But it was the best offer Cole had at the moment.
"Alright, I'll accept," Cole said. He'd have to be careful, but more than anything he needed someone to show him about this world.

Ricky nodded and offered his hand to Cole for a hand-shake, expecting him to take it.
"My name is Ricky Cervantes. My boss is named Warren Zimmer. You'll encounter him later on, once you have had time to get more acclimated with the Omniverse. There are multiple mini-verses to the Omniverse. Nearest to where we are are two such verses. One of these is the world of Coruscant. The place is highly advanced when it comes to technology. In manners, I'd say I'd give the place a 2 on a scale of one to ten, Mr...?"
Ricky paused in his narrative to allow that to sink in for Cole even though he didn't know who the Prime was. Why did Warren want him to check for potential powerhouses in the Nexus? It wasn't like Warren was... raising an army for some reason. If Warren was raising an army it was his duty as a Guardian to stop him. Yet as Warren was the source of his abilities, or so he believed anyway it would be unwise to bite the hand that fed him. What was he to do in a situation like this? Honestly, Ricky didn't know. As he mentioned Coruscant and Camelot, Ricky pointed at each gate.
"Anyway, the next verse that you could consider is the world of Camelot. What they lack in science, they make up for in magic. They are a world where swords, sorcery and mythical creatures are the norm. Technology is rarer there, and rarely seen there usually."

Cole took the man's handshake with a strong grip, shaking vigorously. The man introduced himself as Ricky Cervantes. Ricky said there were many smaller verses off of this one. He described a world called "Coruscant". He didn't say much, but said that it was only a two on a scale of one to ten. Ricky asked for Cole's name.
"Tyson. Cole Tyson," he replied. He was about to ask about the low score, when Ricky began to talk again. This time he introduced a second world, "Camelot", like that of stories. It was, as Cole expected, a world of scorcery, with little technology,
"So, are you from here? Or were you brought here, like me?" Cole asked. "Oh, and, why the low score for Camelot?"

A voice boomed out so that Cole could hear it, and so could Ricky.
"I'll take it from here, Ricky. You've got work of your own to do that I need to be done post-haste. You can handle relocating Fort Zimmer out of the Frozen Fields and to the Tangled Green or to a warmer climate probably, but I am too busy to achieve such personally right now."
Such was the honest truth. With how much Warren had to do right now he wasn't sure he had time to relocate his base. After a few moments of questioning Ricky and learning that Cole wore a strange blue ring on his finger, Warren examined the individual. The ring was that of the Blue Lantern Corps, much like the Power Ring that had been worn by Saint Walker had been. If he recalled correctly the ring did channel the power of hope through it as a power source. Likely as Cole was a new prime his powers were going to be limited by whatever mumbo jumbo Omni had pulled in order to limit their abilities. An idea began to dawn on Warren. While Saint Walker would never have worked for him, perhaps he could mold the new Blue Lantern of the Omniverse into a potential ally and soldier. It was going to, unfortunately, require that he pretend to be a good guy, but Warren had been practicing when around Arle.
Of course in her case, Warren had been genuinely interested in seeing what she could do. Of course it hadn't happened. He had to admit, he was just a bit disappointed in that.
Ricky sighed. Why had Warren showed up all of the sudden? Had he finished his errand in Camelot so soon? Just what had gone on that motivated his employer of the moment to show up and start ordering him around? Ricky didn't like working for Warren because he had in the past. Being forced to serve a bad guy was not his idea of a good time. It was times like these that made him wish he was back in Canton with his friends, the rest of the Guardians. At least in Canton things had made some sense. So far he had been forced to meet with a "Lord Dominator" and Cole. Neither of which were things he'd do for Warren back home, but here he had no choice. As Warren was the only one who knew how to keep his NFL-R working, he had to toe the line for Wild Card. Sighing he'd begin to walk off towards the gate to the Frozen Fields. He had to admit he was curious as to why Warren wanted to relocate his base from there, as he had never been there.
"Now that Ricky has left, for the time being, we must discuss something. You wear a ring I recognize, one that belonged to the Blue Lantern Corps from what Saint Walker told me from when he was around here. I am curious, is your ring fully functional? IE, can you use the power it possesses to the fullest extent possible? Or is your ring non-functional? You are also interesting. A fountain fresh Prime, just full of potential that I have never seen before. I am curious, how would you like a job from me?"

When Cole had not replied in several hours Warren had begun to get a little bit annoyed with the Fountain Fresh Prime. Why was he being ignored by the individual? Warren didn't know the answer to that question which bothered him more than he was going to let on. Leaving the situation was the wise choice before he did something either of them would regret. The pure white of the Nexus was murder on the eyes and was beginning to get on his nerves. For White was not a color that he liked anymore. Of course, his dislike of such a color could come from something he had experienced at the hands of the Stormtroopers of the Verse known as Coruscant. Sighing Warren concentrated for about two minutes and summoned up a motorcycle for himself. There was no point in him sticking around with someone who wasn't going to reply to him anyway.
Getting on the gray, black and purple colored motorcycle that in color scheme resembled his armor perfectly Warren drove off. For now, for today he was done with this Fountain Fresh Prime. There had to be others somewhere in the Nexus that he could potentially recruit for himself. After all there were likely to be some villains that he could make swear his banner.
