Gherron jumped slightly at the man's action, and bit back a curse. He wasn't used to being so jumpy. That was left back in his learner days... This place set him off edge. All the more reason to find a way back to where he came from. Still, he looked on at the man, impressed with his accuracy as it was. When he sat back down, he admitted something to Gherron, and as a matter of fact seemed rather somber about it, though the Jedi didn't know why. "Is that supposed to mean something? I've never heard of a Zjinn before. Are you saying you're a different species? I've seen maybe hundreds of non-humans life forms who looked very close to being one."

"No the people who were I come from Zjinn are abominations looked down on because they, we can control the elements." With a sigh Fawklin continues. "The most I know about my people is what I have learned about myself, and that is I can control fire and flames, impervious to them as well." Putting his hands out and looking at his palms then turning them around. "I can't control it, or the know how. All I know is that when I get angry that is when it happens."

Gherron listened to the man, a smile of understanding coming to his face. Shaking his head, he put his hand on Fawklin's shoulder. "Don't be afraid, my friend. We.. well, not myself personally, but those gifted in the force can conjure fire, ice, and even lightning. There are even those called shapers, which use the force to control the elements. I'd heard of one in particular, a fire shaper. He was very powerful. Perhaps you are gifted with the force as well." He smiled reassuringly. "I could help you to master your ability, Fawklin."

"I don't know about that. The last time I used my power I murdered two people, one of which was accidental." He inhales and stands up. "Well I am tired of this sunless area. Could use the fresh smell of trees, and grass." Turning back to Gherron, "Any idea on which way we should go?"

Sighing softly at his offer being turned down, Gherron nodded. He understood that fear. His first use of the force had been pure accident, when he'd killed a man that was trying to mug him. He'd been scarred by that for quite a while. At Fawklin's question, he peered out at each of the gates again. They all seemed different in their own way... but one in particular reminded him of home. A tall metal arch, gleaming a soft glow of light all around. Pointing, he replied "That one. Let's start there. It looks a good two hours or so from here." Getting up, he dusted himself off and straightened his clothes.

"Well alright it's a long walk might as well start now." The two start to walk towards the steel gate off to the western horizon.

Waiting a few seconds for his new companion to ready himself, Gherron was soon on the move, making his way toward the arch. As they walked, he continued to look around them, reaching out with the force as best as he could to detect any potential danger. Even though his force affinity was somehow weakened, he would make sure nobody snuck up on him and Fawklin. He hadn't trained all those years as a Jedi to be taken by surprise that easily.
As the two wandered along, Gherron figured he'd start up some conversation. After all, two hours is a long time without talking. "So, Fawklin. I'm sure you weren't completely alone. Who'd you leave back in Maglin?"

Walking along what would be considered a trail. "Well most of the people of Maglin were afraid of my father, he was not a wrathful man, he did have his temper but you know simple people are easy to scare. My mother died giving birth to me and my father hated me for it and left me to my devices." Noticing Gherron still a little on edge. "Don't be so anxious Jedi, I don't feel anybody near by." Fawklin lifts his left foot up and wiggling his toes. "Varen taught me to feel the earth flow through me, and the best way fell is through your feet. You have no need to keep your head on a swivel."
"When you say completely alone, yes there were people physically around me, talking at me, past me, but like I said no one other than Varen, my master talked to me, well and you of course." They continued for a few more minutes in silence. "Gherron tell me about your training and your Master, what was his name?"

Gherron took in each of Fawklin's words, listening to them intently. He was primarily alone. The young man grimaced, he knew what that was like. Upon hearing the question of his training, he couldn't help but chuckle. "My master, well my main one, was Josh. At first, I didn't give him much credit. I was stubborn. But he taught me patience. He taught me that sometimes I have to stop and think before I do something. Everything that I am today is because of him.
"Now when he started teaching me the art of the lightsaber, I immediately chose Soresu form. You see, there are seven main forms. Shii-Cho is for all learners, a balance between both attack and defense. Makashi, my master's favorite, focuses on attack, but also using the environment around you. Soresu puts you in a permanent defense stance, almost completely impenetrable by those who truly master it. Shien is close to Soresu, but a little more movement is involved. The hardest to master is Vapaad, or Juyo to the Sith. It channels all of one's feeling into the combat, making the user's entire person a physical weapon. Most Jedi refuse it because they think it leads to the dark side, with the strong emotions and all."

Peter Quill wakes up, bolting upright. Blinking several times he looks around to take in his surroundings. Immediately, the first thing he notices is that he is sitting in a fountain. Muttering a few curses under his breath, he stands up and steps out of the pool. He usual attire, black pants and grey shirt with his red leather jacket. Peter's hand quickly goes to his hip to find his Element Gun, his trusty companion. He let out a sigh of relief to find it where he keeps it at all times. As Peter tried to recall the events that lead up to him waking up in the fountain, he chuckled at how similar the situation was to a night he had spent on Xander with the Krylorian girl. Quill again surveys the scene. Where ever he was, it seemed vast and empty. Off in the distance he could spot different structures, however much closer were two figures. Still unable to piece together anything he starts to makes his way over to the two.

"Oh I see, every sword master in Stentar has their 'own' styles of fighting, they are all based on the same concepts of sword play but some are more power than others, some like Varens' are more balanced, and I use my speed, well used my speed. Fighting in Stentar evolves with the fighters." He responds as the duo nonchalantly walks west. "Honestly even tho that Smiling Shade makes sub par tea, I'm glad it brought me here, I'm still on the edge about you though monk." Fawklin said with a sly smile on his face.
About a minute or so later Fawklin stopped almost instantly, started to look around with just his eyes. something is coming Taking slightly longer strides to catch back up with Gherron he leans closer to the Jedi and speaks softly. "Gherron, I don't know if you feel it but something is following us, it's faint but getting closer."

Gherron listened intently, soon, feeling the presence of another a little ways behind him and his companion. By the time Fawklin brought it up, he was already on alert. Again, he hated himself for being so twitchy. This strange place was messing with him. Nodding to show her heard the man, he turned slightly and peered back at the fountain. "Let's go meet our new friend. Maybe he's as lost as we are. As far as I can tell, numbers help in a place like this, where our surroundings are so foreign to us." Starting toward the newcomer, he soon made out a dark red jacket.

Turning around and watching as Gherron started walking towards this silhouette. Don't let your guard down. He places his left hand on his dagger and followed the Jedi back east towards the fountain keeping a handful of steps behind. Getting closer and closer the more he could make out of the figure walking towards them. Red leather jacket, black pants and a lop sided belt that seemed to do no more than shout weapon, but the person does not approach with an aggressive gait.

Quill becomes a little bit worried as he made his way towards the two. The situation was tense now that he had been noticed, and the couple started walking towards him. As the two figures approached, he could make out their appearance. The bigger of the two had a ridiculous sense of fashion. Quill nearly laughed out loud at the black tiger leather coat matched with violet tunic. Seemed as if he was a fashion diva from the middle ages. As for the slimmer of the two, he seemed to be a smaller built man, in robes of a monk. While Quill had been to many planets he had never seen monks like this. The medieval fashion diva had a hand on a weapon of some sort at the waist. This made Peter uneasy as he also settled a hand on his Element Gun. When the three were within hearing distance he calls out "Hello? I come in peace."

Nodding at the newcomer's words, he offered a friendly smile. "Hey, we're all friends here, right? Of course you come in peace." While he showed himself relaxed on the outside, he was still guarded to any potential attack. At any moment, he would be ready to grab his saber and flick the blade on. It would take seconds for the weapon to be at the other's throat. Still keeping his smile, he offered his hand. "I'm Gherron. This here is Fawklin. Welcome to the ah- What'd you call it big man?" He turned to Fawklin for a second. "The Nexus, right? Yeah. Welcome to the Nexus."

The Nexus?
Quill stands in a black void of nothingness. Then out of the shadows, a grinning silhouette makes itself visible. Quill tries to speak out to the creature but is unable to make a sound. The only thing he could do was listen to what the figure had to say. He called himself Omni. He gives Quill a strange orb, something that was completely foreign to the out-law. Something he had never seen before. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours.” That was something the Star-Lord could live with.
Quill blinks his eyes a few times as he enters back into reality. A piece of his memory had returned to him, however it left more question than answers. There were still some blanks in his memory but perhaps as he continued to explore this place they would return. Quill reaches into his jacket, feeling around he found the rainbow orb. He is surprised to find it, thinking for a second that the memory might have been a dream. Pushing his thoughts out of his mind, Quill takes the monks, Gherron’s, hand and shakes it firmly. “Nice to meet you guys. You may of heard of me. I am Star-Lord.” Quill wonders if these two had the same experience as he did. And if so if they had any of this ‘Omnilium’.

Reaching the two grasping hands, Fawklin takes his hands off the dagger but keeping his guard up. "Star Lord huh? As Gherron said I'm Fawklin." He said standing close by reluctant to grab hands in such an odd fashion as the two have done. "Tell us about the land of Star you rule over?" He eyes the two men, noticing the erratic feelings coming from them, discerning which of the two is feeling this way is the confusing part.

After the greetings, Gherron cocked an eyebrow at the man. "Star Lord? Can't say that I have heard that title." Turning to Fawklin, he suppressed a grin. "Hey, I think that may be more of a simple name than a ruling title. Isn't that right, Star Lord?" He said the name with sarcasm, wondering who would appoint such a strange name upon themselves. True, he'd heard some strange names from Sith and their Darth titles, but this was a new one. However, from the way the man was dressed, and the look in his eyes, Gherron could tell he'd seen much more than his fair share of adventure. Much like the Jedi himself. "Tell me, have you ever been in the Outer Regions?", he asked, piecing it together at last. The man in the red jacket must be a spacefarer.

Quill managed a small uneasy grin. "Come on you've never heard of Star-Lord? Legendary out-law?" He said defiantly as he released Gherron's hand. "That's me. But seeing as we're all friends you can just call me Peter Quill. Or just Quill is fine." Now up close, Quill took the opportunity to have a closer examination of his new found 'friends' equipment. Fawklin seemed to be armed with a long sword and some kind of make shift dagger, perhaps a large throwing knife. As the big guy took his hand off his dagger, Quill also took his hand off of his element gun. While he didn't know these two well enough to complete trust them, he felt at ease. As for the monk Gherron, he seemed only to be armed with a some sort of device in the shape of a metal rod. Quill noticed intricate designs engraved into it. A fine piece of equipment obviously crafted with care. Probably worth a good amount on the black market, somewhere around 40,000 units. But Quill liked Gherron. Something about his personality put Quill at ease and made him trust the monk. Resting his hands on his belt, Quill answers Gherron's question. "I've traveled all over the Galaxy, so I'm sure at some point I have visited what you call the Outer Region."

Knowing he is out matched in the sense of being ignorant about outer worlds and galaxies Fawklin just sat back and observed as this Quill and Gherron seemed to reminisce about space travel, and what not. Although somewhat at ease he started to pace around the two trying to get a sense of the strangers intentions. Noticing Quills glance at Gherron's saber hilt and the slight twitch in his eye Fawklin decided to speak up. "Legendary Outlaw? What kind of outlaw, murderer, thief, tax evader? I wouldn't act on your lust over this Jedi's saber." Fawklin crossed his arms in an attempt to intimidate the man.
