Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP)
#81
That's fine, so long as it makes sense in-character and you're not just like, dipping out mid-duties to free-lance and fight Imperial criminals.
#82
If "Claws" and "Talons" are similar enough to be considered as one multi-purpose move for a shape shifting character, does the same hold true for "fangs" and "beak(s)"?

Does the description have to specify the length of the claws/appendages? What happens if they're not the same length in different animal forms (bear vs cat, etc)?

If you are in a quest together and you are stuck, at what point can you write yourself out of the thread?

Quote:The strength of telekinesis is based on your ATK stat, and gives you the same ability to lift objects that the Physical Strength proficiency does, with the caveat that the further away something is, the harder it becomes to lift and manipulate.

So before I go rippin' trees out of the ground and flippin' upside down, is it possible for me to pick up heavy objects with my mind even if I have a low attack stat? Does this practically stress that your telekinesis is EXACTLY like a human muscle with likits based on your attack stat, or will it just take more energy and time to lift heavier objects? Lastly, could I have an example of what would be 'too heavy' to lift with an attack stat of 1?

It works exactly like using your physical body. ATK 1 is normal human physical ability. So, probably anything more than a couple hundred pounds would be too heavy. That said, Moves can enhance what you can do with this power.

So would it be better to buy two healing moves one,for yourself and one to heal others?
If their, seperate do they heal better?
Or should you just have a move that does both?

If my base form includes, say, a tail, would I need a Move to attack with it? Or is Physical Proficiency enough?

You'd need a move, otherwise it's considered incidental. The reasoning I go with here is that the average person doesn't have the extra appendage/limb, so you have to pay for that advantage. Similar to if my character was an angel and wanted to attack with his wings.

Two questions regarding NPC Primes:

-You have to state a role/reason for which you want one (a personal, not site NPC). Does this reason have to be a 'good' one or can it boil down to 'I want more characters to play with'?
-Can you purchase moves, powers, profs etc. for your NPC Prime after they have been approved and moved to the PC Primes thread? How do you go about it?

1) The reason you're giving is the reason for them to be a prime, as opposed to a secondary NPC. So yes, it has to be a good one.
2) Yes, you can, provided they have the OM for it. Whenever the character they're an NPC for reaches a new level, they can also advance to a level equal to your character. (Within common sense. A level 3 character, with a level 5 NPC because of the way the NPC system works, couldn't move their NPC to level 6 when said character hits level 4, but when they themselves reach level 6.) At that time, run any new moves for them through approval as normal, noting what they're for, and then when they're approved, edit them into their sheet as normal. (Personal Recommendation: Maybe even re-submit the NPC app, just to be safe, noting what is being changed/added. Either way, keep a change log with the roster if you ever make any purchases/additions.)
If you see me around and you got questions, just give a shout. I'm happy to assist.

Two questions.

First: would a Move that lets me use my tail as a normal person would use their arms and legs (strikes, grapples, slaps, etc) be sufficient, or would I need a Move for every application the tail could do that a normal appendage could?

Second: in regards to "self-inflicted" injuries (those not doled out via judge or storyteller), how much energy would Advanced Regen consume? If I wrote in losing my arm, for example, would it cost me SP to regenerate it quickly? Or since I put it in to enhance the flavor of the writing, would it be a waived cost?

I am going to address the first question in your join app

If you wanted to RP something like losing an arm, in an official fight or competition, it'd probably have to be after a decent amount of damage had been taken and i would say it would require a decent amount of time to regenerate. In a personal story, I'mma say do what you want as long as it is in line with Omniverse rules and physics. While Cell is known for having good regen abilities he has also been nerfed somewhat by the Omniverse and it's physics.

Could I with the approval of Darkshire, Let them borrow my troops and town on specific occasions? (such as a assault on Darkshire again, or if they had to retreat? or if they were to attack Dracula actually?) and if I can do the first thing, would that be sufficient enough to establish trade and other things? (such as food, tools, etc.?) I want to make shure this is allowed before I go too far with this?

Is it possible to rewrite a Move to include a new Proficiency without needing to refund the old Move and purchase a new one? I'd like to increase the half-meter explosion on my Ki Blasts to a full meter with Area Attack.

@Cell: Here's what the Rules have on Improving Moves!

Quote:Secondly, if you are adding something to the move that you could not have added when you first purchased it due to not having the power or proficiency. For example, if you purchased the Homing Proficiency some time after you first bought the move, and you now want to make your ordinary missile a homing missile, you can do that. However, you cannot ever take away additions unless you sell the move (which only refunds half of the spent OM). Just get the new version of the move approved, then post on your Purchases page saying that you are upgrading the move (if the price hasn't changed, just put the OM cost as 0).

For simple story purposes, would I be allowed to use a super utility on another person(The person in question being secondary.) to heal major wounds? In context, Amber would like to use her medical dust to ensure the safety of a secondary in her Star Piece Quest. It would obviously cost me the SP, I'm just making sure I'm not trying to do something I'm unable to do, as I do not have Healing.

I'm going to go with, yes.

To clarify: Yes, because what you're asking is purely flavor. In a military society it would completely make sense for you to be anonymous to the lower ranks if you were Special Forces.

(03-20-2017, 05:43 PM)Nova Terra Wrote: When it comes to quest result descriptions, such as for example this one: (Coruscant, Quest Hand of the Empire)

"Do this and you will be granted more freedom and respect within the Empire - expect stormtroopers to salute as you pass - but know that you may also be targeted in other verses as you go about keeping the peace."

When it comes to these kind of things, is it possible to keep your existence under the wraps & only known to higher ups?
A secret operative/whatever else, for example, most certainly wouldn't want to be saluted as they go by, and in general their higher ups as well as themselves, would likely want to keep their existence as a myth at best.

Is that kind of thing possible, when you do a quest of such kind?

Bumpitybump. Has been a few days.

First of all, the Quick Questions thread is not called the "Long Winded Discussion of Things" Thread.

Secondly, no where in the description of the quest does it mention that you are a spec ops team. It does, however, mention that you will be working with "a gigantic organisation in the Empire whose work ranges from military to domestic peacekeeping and enforcement". You do this quest, you become known. There is no secrecy to it. You do the quest, you do it knowing that you gain any reward and suffer any consequence that has been stipulated in the description of the quest.

Unfortunately no, not in the move's current form. You would need to upgrade to healing and then resubmit the move and just add the healing requirement to it.
When you rewind to a previous character, do you regain the Omnilium that character had at the time you swapped him out?
