Character name: Rand al'Thor
Character source: Wheel of Time
Character history: Pulled from the end of A Crown of Swords, after Rand had defeated Sammael and been crowned king of Illian.
Stats:
ATK: 3
DEF: 2
SPD: 1
TEC: 4
Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength (1000), Ranged (1000), Ranged Materialize (600)
Starting Powers: Foresight (1500)
Starting Moves:
Flame Sword-(Physical Strength) 300 OM
Rand summons a longsword with a 38-inch blade and heron carved into the hilt made of white-hot flames. The flames of the sword do not burn Rand, however, the effort required to make this so causes each swing of the sword to drain twice as much energy as swinging a longsword of comparable size would.
Lightning Strike-(Ranged Proficiency, Ranged Materialize) 300 OM
Rand brings down a bolt of blue-white lightning on a two-foot radius for four seconds. This takes two seconds of intense concentration. Once a spot is chosen for the lightning bolt to hit, it cannot be changed. The lighting bolt is about as painful as getting struck by lighting normally is. Rand is able to move normally while using this attack but is unable to use any other form of offense or defense. Using this ability takes the same amount of energy as lifting his own weight over his head for the duration of the concentration. Rand is capable of using this ability at a range of 50 yards or less.
Blazing Arrows-(Ranged Proficiency) 300 OM
Rand launches a flurry of ten red laser-like streaks at a single target, with the streaks moving about as fast as an arrow. These "arrows" are round and have the circumference of a dime. Using this move takes Rand ten seconds of intense concentration, after which he can designate where the "arrows" are aimed. During this concentration, Rand can move normally but is otherwise unable to attack and defend. Because all of the "arrows" fire at the same time, Rand cannot readjust his aim once they have been fired. Using this ability drains about as much energy as lifting seventy-five percent of his weight over his head for the duration of the concentration. Getting hit with two of the "arrows" feels similar to getting shot with a 9-millimeter bullet. Rand can send the "arrows" a distance of 50 yards.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Note: I am rejoining for the sake of changing where I pulled Rand from in canon, as well as to get something a fresh start.
