Dawn/Erika vs Ghidorah OOC

I, as Dawn Snow, am hereby challenging King Ghidorah to an in character fight. I would enjoy using the site standard rules with the exception of 1000 words per post. To be confirmed by Ghidorah.

In all seriousness though, while I absolutely accept, I would also like to request a delay. The timing of this has worked out so that even as I respond to your challenge, I'm typing the setup post for one of the Darkshire fights. There are two other people involved in that, and they've already waited almost two months.

I've made my round-2 post in the Darkshire fight, and I did it like three hours after the round started. Five-day rounds, so that puts a little time on my hands (not to mention leaving only the one round - and hence one post - to go.)

And that mean's it's bounty-time.

It's a little risky (for me), but.... I'm good to go whenever my esteemed opponent is.

Ok, I'm going to do an intro post to get the annoying dialogue out of the way so I can focus mostly on the fight. If Ghidorah has something to say IC he can make a post too.

Arena Description - Harnburg Slopes:

The site of Ghidorah and Dawn/Erika's battle is the hillside overlooking the massive valley that contains the Duchy of Harnburg. A well-used road surrounded by grassy fields meanders downward across the miles towards the farms and scattered villages nestled in the dells below. In the distance, at the far end of the valley there's a lake, surrounded by small forests and abutted by a moderately-sized castle-town, overshadowed by towering red cliffs and fed by a waterfall. The sun is setting, casting everything in shadows and shades of red. 

In short, it's picturesque as hell.  

As for the immediate area where our antagonists clash, just a dozen meters above the lip of the valley is a sprawling forest, from which both combatants have recently emerged. About twenty meters downhill, a tiny brook feeds a small pond that nestles in a dip in the hillside, near the side of the road. Several large walnut trees grow on the bank, taking advantage of the more even ground and abundant moisture. Other than these features, and a noticeable downhill slope, the area is grassy and extremely open, with few obstacles save for an old, broken fence-post or two, and nobody to interfere in their battle.

So, awkward question. We're using the standard rules (with the 1000 word modification) and it's been 36 hours since I posted. Does that mean the post passes to me? If Dawn needs an extension I've got no problem with that, but I'd like to know how closely we're cleaving to the posting schedule.

I also need an extension on my last post because my phone bill runs up tomorrow and I can't pay it this week. That being said I'd ask for an indefinite extension but I promise I wont hold you up Kelly.

Take as much time as you need. I've got a 'unconscious but not dead' dream to write for Kelly and I've been meaning to do something goofy on the dataverse as well.

Since the actual fight is over, Dawn and I both went ahead and purchased some things. I got a transformation, she got a proficiency. Neither was used in the fight, nor even bought until all post had been made.
