Arrrgh, the third character... I don't really want to do a character switch (I mean, I will if I must) and it's a difficult choice to get the right one :froggonk: So I turn to you guys for aid again... any input is greatly appreciated!
Yukihira Soma (reworked) - Shokugeki no Soma
In short: Soma as in my join app gets reworked move- and powers-wise. I'll make him a traditional Omniverse fighter, only using kitchen tools instead of swords and guns - knives and frying pans, summoning a giant hob that burns his opponents' legs, or throwing oil on the ground (slippery) or pepper into the air (causes sneezing).
The whole cooking thing is going to have to be out-of-combat stuff.
He could also learn "culinaromancy" later on - magic based on food and food-related items. Things like transforming his opponent's sword into a leek stalk or buffing his allies.
+He could function with Mimic, replicating opponents' moves and adapting them into his own style.
+Unlike the serious Amaterasu (I mean IC, not CBox) and Sabrina, Soma is a fun, easygoing character. The type of guy that won't worship or try to murder Palpatine, but cook him a "Coruscant Special" instead.
+He cooks. It's something I like.
+There's enormous general playing potential with just about everyone thanks to his style.
+He has a good storyline (to explore the Omniverse to discover its unique ingredients and cuisines, and to be a better cook than his dad, who could be made an NPC Prime).
-Outside of Mimic, his movepool is a little limited. Soma will mostly be about Powers until there.
-He's a comedic relief character that can't really be taken serious in many instances.
-Being a not very confrontational character for death battles means that he won't fight a lot.
-He's unsuited for fighting-focused sagas (Dante's Abyss for instance).
-The choice of NPCs to make as Secondaries is a little limited and would have to follow a specific style.
-The character will be butchered entirely as Shokugeki no Soma is not a fighting anime.
Malon - Legend of Zelda
In short: Malon, the girl of Lon Lon ranch, a recurring character but with her most important appearance being Ocarina of Time. There's not a lot told about her but she's relevant enough to be pretty well-known among fans. For moves and powers I'll probably be purchasing various items and tools that Link acquires during his quests across the various Legend of Zelda games, such as a bow, a magic boomerang, masks (from Majora's Mask) and various others - as well as a few farm tools, like sickles or a pitchfork.
+She's a very friendly character who would work well with the nicer Primes
+There's huge potential to play with Dank Dark Link, as well as other Legend of Zelda characters - and it seems to be a pretty well-liked fandom here in Omniverse.
+There's more fanart of her than I could use in a lifetime.
+I guess she could be a half-decent cook (nowhere near as much as Soma, of course).
+Shapeshifting and Alt forms can be incorporated with Majora's Mask masks.
-There's next to no reason for me to fight people as Malon is even less confrontational than Soma.
-It'll be a pretty brutal awakening for her when she finds out that the Omniverse can be kind of horrible with death and the like.
-I'm not really sure how and why Malon would obtain items that Link finds throughout his journey, as she's not really a fighter.
-Outside possibly of building up Lon Lon ranch, she has no long-termed goals and storylines preset.
