Trapped, but not Springtrapped...

"Cole! Please, listen to me!"

"S-stay back! Please!"

He had nowhere else to go. Fear overtaking his mind. He can't think straight. He could hear the laughter of the other kids. But Lucy... Lucy was fearful herself. Afraid of what Cole might do to himself. She tried to get him to focus but it wasn't enough. Cole didn't believe that she was still on the good side. He continued to back away from her as she tried to approach him. Until... He fell down unconscious. Lucy looked down at him with fear, What happened to him? That was when he faded off. Lucy cried out his name one last time before he was gone. When Cole awoke, everything was black. He tried to call out something but there was no sound. All there was... Was a smiling silhouette. They told him what he needed to know. Why he was there, what Omnilium was, how to use it, and so on. Howevere there was still one unanswered question....

Will he ever see Lucy again?

He was greeted with no answer and left to wake up once more in a white void.

Cole Raven Evans has entered the Omniverse.

When he awoke, he looked around, there was nothing to be seen... Except for far away objects and a fountain. But what was weird most of all... He can't remember what happened before he was summoned by Omni. It was... Foggy, to say the least. But there was only one thing he could pick out of what he CAN remember.

Lucy's voice.

She was panicking, crying out his name in fear. Did she... Did she still trust him? Why? He killed her! Why would she trust a murderer like him?

He...

He couldn't believe it. But then again... He guessed best friends really are forever.

But for right now, he had to focus on his current situation. Where was he and... Where were other people?

"Hello?" he called out. "Is anyone there?"

But alas there was no answer.

Cole started to get scared. His eyes were wide, his breath somewhat shakey, and his body was somewhat anxious. He was all alone right now. Left to fend for himself. What if no one finds him? What if he's alone for the rest of his time here? What if... What if he goes crazy from being alone? Cole had no idea what to do. Perhaps no one was coming for him. Perhaps there was no one else out there.

No.

No, he cannot be defeated like this.

There has to be someone else out there. Like him.

Cole began to calm himself down by controlling his breathing. The longer he did so, the more he calmed down. Eventually he was solemn. No longer afraid of loneliness. He has to conquer that fear of his. Even if he has other fears, he can't be struck down by one so minor. He was patient and can wait for people to come across him.

The problem is, he's not one to start conversations.

He can continue them fine. But to initiate one? He has trouble with that.

This is going to be a long wait for others.

No. He isn't going to wait.

He got up from where he sat and began to look around. There are many things in the distance. So close but yet so far. But that wasn't going to stop Cole. He began to walk towards one. Specifically, the one that goes East.

It's going to be a long walk, isn't it?

Cole is too determined right now to think about that. He needs to get out of this white void.



Meanwhile, on the other side of the fourth wall, Essent is running out of ideas.
