Oh look another one of these.
I'm indecisive as all hell when it comes to just about everything, and of course now that pertains to switching my alt. At least this time I've got it narrowed down to 2.
Choice 1, an OC: The Unending, the god of the coming winter, the biting frost, the prolonging nights, and the death and decay brought on by that season. Twisted by its own power, it is no longer has a humanoid form, instead stalking the endless nights in inhabits with a quadrupedal gait. With a form reminiscent of the wendigo, it would also come to be seen as the cannibal god, driving others to eat their own kind through the long siege of winter. Despite its bestial form, however, the being is shockingly intelligent, able to communicate with man and beast alike.
To me it feels more "force of nature" than "RP-able creature" though, which makes it pretty iffy to go with.
Choice 2, from Witch Craft Works: Chronoire Schwarz VI. Though she's considered to be among the strongest of the witches in the series, she isn't conventionally powerful when it comes to magic. With very little natural magic regeneration of her own, she has to search out and gather every scrap of power she can. Despite such a handicap, she has made herself to be a very formidable opponent, so much that she carries the nickname "Dead End." Additionally, she is a big fan of maritime themes, with her Oceanic Noose, a subspace manipulation spell, creating an ocean around her.
She's lot less unconventional than the Unending. A safer pick but I'm not sure if I want to go with safe.
