The Most Serene Republic of New Nippur is a fledgling, socially progressive nation, renowned for its frequent executions, public floggings, and devotion to social welfare. The cynical population of 5 million New Nippurians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich.
