Just a bit of fair warning about the soundtrack for The Void; I made it as abjectly and terrifyingly surreal as possible. Only the most hardest of cores should listen to it.

Yeah there seems to be a lot of Star Wars and Elder Scrolls in here.
Which I guess serves its purpose.
But now I am inspired to create my own, much more diverse, youtube playlist for each Verse.

Alright, I think I have a prototype for Coruscant compiled.
Let me know thoughts; I kinda just had to open with Star Wars, because that particular track flows over just such a range of emotions and themes, and it would be stupid to leave out anything Star Wars just for the sake of being different. So it stays.
Everything else I tried to keep on an up and down pattern with heavy electronic/hybrid classical themes throughout.
Luckily there is a plethora of games set in urban futuristic dystopias, so those OSTs weren't hard. I do want to maintain at least a %35 blend of IRL artist tracks in these, though.

So the Dataverse was pretty easy to put together, but let's be honest, getting a bunch of electronic songs to sound good together isn't that hard.

The tricky part was finding slower pieces that still sounded super electronic. The animes came in handy for that one, but unfortunately, most of the themes from .hack are exnayed on American youtube. What even.

I really wanted to include more contemporary artists, but I felt that artists like Rammstein, Slipknot, etc. would be better suited for the Underverse tracks. I had to put in at least one Marilyn Manson tune though.

I had to include two Pirates tracks, they're just too damn perfect for the setting. BUT the Vasty Deeps aren't just about pirates, so I made sure to mix things up a little bit. This list may still get some tweaking in the future; I'm not sure if the transitions are too jarring or not.

Swapped two tracks in the Deeps for some Bob Marley and island tribal drumming. Hopefully that evens out the musical landscape just a touch.

BTW, Tangled Green is done. I'm rather fond of this one, and I feel like it has a pretty good flow. The Tangled Green is a pretty unique verse in that it has a wide range of emotions to offer, so I feel like the track compliments that.
If you're wondering why I threw Hendrix in there, it's because I associate that song with Vietnam War. Maybe other people don't but they're aliens.
