Not going to be able to do much in the way of anything the next few days mostly because my right hand continues to worsen. May be to do with a dog bite I received a year ago exacerbated by carpal tunnel and my current job which has grown more and more intensive and stressful. Currently typing with just my left hand but it is very difficult. I'm going to the doctors tomorrow but can't say much else for the moment. Therefore I may need other staffers to step up or even get another staffer on board as right now everyone is pretty pressed. I'll update soon but wanted to give a heads up on current updates and why I'm not around as much aside from work.

Needs rest, been signed off work for a week and gonna see my GP proper on monday to see what can be done long-term. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

Sorry about my absence lately. I find that one I start doing little things that kind of steam rolls so I've just been trying to keep myself occupied and not use my hands at all. And sometimes if I don't have my headset plugged in to use the voice dictation software… Yeah. It looks like everyone is doing a great job though. Thanks for covering my ass. I am glad this place can survive without me because right now I'm not sure how long this is going to last. Still off work, seeing the doctor again tomorrow.

Have full mobility back in my hand now but I'm still using the voice recognition software to try and keep it rested. Get tired and numb pretty quick. Can't really do much extensive typing.

For those wondering, yeah, this is still a thing. Finally getting to see a physiotherapist on the 15th. Hope that works.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Typing instantly makes my hand flare up so ... yeah. Now my left hand is getting it. Physiotherapist said I just need rest. :awesome:

Dude just cut your hands off, yours are obviously obsolete. Note that you should cut them off ideally after you've harvested some new hands/wrists from a homeless person. Don't worry; nobody's going to go looking for him.

I'm sort of just getting to the stage now where I think this is just gonna be a thing. *shrug* I'm going to try and take the doctor's suggestions on board but ... I dunno. I don't know where this leaves me in regards to my work and future. It's probably going to be a long-term effort. My health is shitty from a whole bunch of directions. #1 is posture, most likely, given how much time I spend at the computer. My posture has always been terrible because I'm a lazy bastard who slouches. However I already spend a bunch of time stretching daily. Typing is the real bitch. Mouse comes a close second.

But yeah ... right now I'm just like, fuck it. Sick of being fearful.

Let's start shooting for cyborg hands. By the time we're at the consciousness-uploading stage, you'll be all but a brain in a cyborg body, making it easy enough. You'll even a shell afterwards for when you need to do mortal affairs.
