Depths of Deep Darkness
#1
The former monarch of the Crystal Empire wasn't pleased. Even as he exited the gate and saw the perfect fusion of both old school architecture and modern like that of Carmelita's base, he wasn't happy to say the least. Getting his hooves on a Dataverse Uplink Station or the Virtual Reality Device mentioned in the email from Carmelita was essential. But where could he get one of those? He didn't know. He did know he didn't want to go on the date with Dead Pool. As the cool breeze swept through his mane it reminded him of the air conditioning her base had. This alone helped to calm the levels of anger down from I'm going to butcher the entire dataverse,  to I'm going to crash O-Harmony. The blighted website was going to perish by his hooves, and his hooves alone. No one else was going to be allowed to involve themselves in his revenge.

Every employee was going to suffer and it was going to be a long drawn out suffering. For the displeasure and pain they had caused Sombra psychologically alone, they deserved nothing less. There was more to it than that, though.  "How am I supposed to find a way into the Dataverse?"
And how was he supposed to delete that information from the Dataverse without causing more trouble for himself later?

Figuring out how to work the Mobile Dataverse Device that he had somehow ended up with was proving to be a pain in the flank. Sure he had learned some of the basic things that one could do with it. Currently he was sitting in a Cafe in Costa De Sol and trying to take his mind off of the fact that Dead Pool was his date. It almost made him want to barf. Yes the prospect of dating the individual was indeed that bad. Going outside to the alley behind the cafe King Sombra came back in after about twenty minutes. Sounds of retching that was very disturbing had been heard for the entirety of the twenty minutes that he had been out there. Cleaning himself off with one of his hooves, King Sombra groaned. There had to be some way he could gain access into the Dataverse so that he could pay these morons the justice they rightfully deserved.

"When I get my hooves on the CEO of OHarmony, he'll wish he hadn't been born!"

The emails alone were proof that the individual was screwing over both Sombra and also Dead Pool. Since Sombra didn't want to date Dead Pool at all logic dictated that he get his very bloody and violent revenge as soon as he possibly could. A base needed to be acquired it was now priority one. Everything else could wait until he had somewhere to call home. Plans to make a kingdom of his own? Those were now on indefinite hold until he resolved the crisis that he was currently having. The crisis in this case being that he had the problem of Dead Pool and Oharmony to worry about. The Mane Six shouldn't be stupid enough to sign up for that damnable website he assumed. At least there was some small relief.

A loud shout came from the muzzle of the dark king of the Crystal Empire that contained a lot of rage and anger. It was almost as loud as the Royal Canterlot Voice."OHARMONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNY!" King Sombra was not amused with what they had done in the slightest. Hooking him up with a psychopath? If it were a woman he would have had less objection to such. But given it was a guy and he wasn't gay? King Sombra was more than a little bucking furious. Right now he may be a king without a kingdom, but there were certain lines even he wouldn't cross. Revenge was looking more and more like a good idea, to the dark monarch of the Crystal Empire.
#4
Even the mighty shout of rage had done little to quell the blistering inferno that was the mood of King Sombra. His temper couldn't be simply soothed by normal efforts unfortunately. What he needed was somewhere that he could feasibly call home. But where? Perhaps there was an abandoned island deeper within this verse. O-Harmony was beginning to be a pain in the flank more than they already were. A frown consumed his muzzle as the king of all monsters thought about it. Who of the O-Harmony should he kill? Probably just the president of the company needed to die. After all this was going certainly to be difficult. First and foremost he was definitely going to need somewhere that he could call home. Outside of the cafe it was beginning to get dark and that meant many of the customers left. Making his exit, King Sombra started to walk the streets of Costa De Sol in order to see hat could be found. There could perhaps be a way to find the location of O-Harmony so he could punish them.
#5
In a way, King Sombra was jealous of the Mane Six. No pony or other creature had ever dared slander them like the O-Harmony Website was actually managing to do to his reputation. Apparently he was going to need to build up his reputation as a criminal. It was regrettable as he sorta liked having Carmelita as one of his friends. Still he had work to do. Trotting on to a ferry that led to another one of the islands,  King Sombra kept traveling. As he went further the heat in the area increased. But eventually he found an empty island that was going to be perfect for his purposes. There were no ponies or any other creatures around for miles. Here was an ideal place for him to commence construction of a place for him to stay. For the night a simple shack could suffice he supposed. In the morning, he'd actually start work on creating a place that he could truly call home.

The next morning, bright and early King Sombra woke up. It was about Four Am according to the Dataverse Device. There was no better time for him to begin planning. What did he need in a base? A castle sounded nice but he didn't want to draw that kind of attention and it also needed to be able to hold modern amenities such as the form known as "Air Conditioning" and "Refrigeration" because both were useful to him. Defenses were a definite must because he couldn't be here all the time. What should he give it defense wise though? Some sort of dark magic blaster towers similar to the Auto Turrets came to mind as a potential option. Of course he could also add some sort of force field. Yes, and maybe some mines in the water made out of his dark magic? Now that was smart thinking on his part. Was it enough though? O-Harmony had essentially sicked a psychopath on him and he didn't want to take any chances of having to fight the individual on his own yet. Chances are they were likely doing their part right now to make his life more miserable than it already was.

"What to give my island?"
#6
"The island will need some sort of technology. Air conditioning will certainly be useful to the base. I'm definitely allowing the Air Conditioning to be part of the base. It will certainly help me stay cool and keep the heat off of me. It will also need refrigerated water because that was a delight, actually. Oh and it should also have some turrets of some sort. Perhaps turrets that have dark magic as the main power source. Alternatively technology would actually be useful for me. The base will also need defenders that can fight for it."

King Sombra paused for a moment.

"It could also use one of those Uplink Stations or a Virtual Reality Device that could allow me to enter the Dataverse. Given no one else knows where the HQ of the O-Harmony Website is, I assume it could be there or in another verse. But I'll need to figure out what's going on. Why would O-Harmony. Oh, one of the bandits must have been related to the current president of O-Harmony. Well that makes life...difficult but nothing that I can't handle. I'll just need to get creative and boost my dark magical abilities to new levels. Learning new magical attacks couldn't be that hard, could it?"

Truthfully he was not sure what new spells he'd need to learn. Going up against O-Harmony meant he needed a lot more spells than he presently possessed in his arsenal. Even then, he was going to need a place to call home before he could do anything like that. Having somewhere to stay was after all one of his highest priorities right now. Given that, he had a plan. Improvements were fairly easy for him to accomplish. Magic was easy enough because King Sombra was a quick study. Still, his next field of magic was going to be rather difficult for him to learn. The magic he was determined to study was that of his opposite, harmonic magic.

Summoning up the tools of a handyman with Omnilium, King Sombra made a mental note. At some future date he must remember to thank Carmelita because she had shown him how to manipulate the Omnilium. Without the ability to manipulate the Omnnilium he couldn't get anything done really. Concentrating he started to think of the various forms of house that he could have. A castle was too ostentatious and prideful. The last thing he wanted was to draw the attention of any "Crusader" type of heroes because those could be a royal pain. Especially Zealots, with Light Elemental Magic or magic cancelling charms on their person. A pyramid was likely too proud of a place and was going to take too much effort for him to create on his own at least. Sombra knew he couldn't afford to waste any time. What he needed to do was think of the smart type of base. A shack was simply too much like a peasant's place for him actually. Such a place meant that he would be laughed at by most villains. A mansion was actually the perfect choice. Of course drawing some inspiration from the headquarters Carmelita lived in, it would have some defenses.

His base was definitely going to have heavy gates like that of the Supra Pol Mech Department did in the Endless Dunes. Gates with large walls that possessed turrets. Turrets that were both built into the walls, but also atop them. Such turrets would be autoturrets, but that were technology. Sure he might have a bit of a steep learning curve, but he believed he could get it done.  "I've clearly got my work cut out for me. Building a mansion will be no small feat in and of itself. There's also the matter of O-Harmony. Their president is going to have to experience my wrath. Locating him is going to be not so easy, unfortunately. I'll have to work hard to find him so that I can take him down. Building this place is essential to that long tem goal. I'll of course need some automated servants... maybe I could try to remember how to make golems."

King Sombra was not a master architect nor did he have a degree in structural engineering. Any buildings he was likely to construct even with the aid of the mysterious "Omnilium" was likely to be heavily flawed as a result of this. Creating stuff out of Omnilium was sorta like Crystal Crafting, but at the same time had multiple differences. For one it required more effort than working with crystals. Another difference was that it required a clear head, something that he didn't have right now. Of course there were multiple reasons for him to not be calm in the slightest right now. What he needed was someone who knew more about building places than he did. Normally he would have resorted to his Crystal Slaves, but he didn't have any presently> An idea donned on him all of the sudden. Celestia. She was Twilight's mentor and the "Mother of Equestria" once Luna had been banished to the moon. Perhaps she could prove to be of some use to the dark king. Unlike previous times he wasn't going to screw this up.

There were reasons he could make up for trying to summon her. One was that he hadn't laid with a mare... no. Bad brain. He couldn't allow himself to even consider doing something like that. Refusing to allow himself to summon her which took a monumental effort on his part, the Dark King of the Crystal Empire scowled. Deadpool was likely going to be a hard opponent, even for the spells that he had so far. Dark Matter Bomb V1, Nightmare Force, Dusk Cannon, Storm Arts-Lightning. Those were the extent of his power right now. As he looked at various blueprints for a base on the Mobile Dataverse Device which had taken the form of a crystal ball he sighed. Why could things never be easy? All he wanted was a place to call his own. A mansion that he could truly name as his house and home here. Sure he might not be able to return to his own world. But he could make the best of it by building somewhere that was truly his, and not someone else's playground.

"What to build?"

Construction should have been the least of his worries. What he needed to do more than actually constructing a place to call home was to practice. His abilities needed to become instinctual in that he should become able to cast them without having to even think about them. Being able to take his magic all the way to such a level meant that he'd be one step closer to becoming an Alicorn. While he didn't particularly want the wings, the magical boost of being an Alicorn was the main part that he knew he'd need. Given the very real threat against his life of Dead Pool thanks to O-Harmony,  Sombra knew he couldn't afford to delay anymore. Practice made perfect and he was going to practice until he reached a level beyond perfect. Some more power had been returned to him by his powering up here in the Omniverse. But what power did he now have that he didn't? Reaching inside to check himself and the mana flow that normally comprised his dark magic, King Sombra got a sadistic grin. It seemed that his time at Carmelita's place had not been an entire waste because by being able to recover he had actually learned a new spell. The spell of the "Dark Matter Bomb V1."  Sure it was not as powerful as he would like and could not raze an entire city out of existence. It was however a start to regaining the power he once held, and that alone made a smile come to the face of the dark monarch. If he had been a pony who liked to party, he would have partied right now.

Due to the circumstances however he couldn't allow himself to party. He was still woefully under-equipped to deal with a threat of Dead Pool's level most likely. Certainly in order to ensure his survival he'd need to re-evaluate what it meant to be himself. His dark magic was not enough anymore, at least not on it's own. A shudder passed through him. There was no alternative then as much as he hated to admit it. A new area of study had been chosen and that was the area that Twilight specialized at,  Harmonic Magic. While it may not be as efficient at wiping out his foes, Sombra had witnessed first hand the effectiveness of it via the Crystal Heart. Sure it might be touch and go learning the magic. But as he was a master Dark Magus it shouldn't be that hard for him to also make harmonic magic his own. Combining the two into an unstoppable force might be worthy of him becoming an Alicorn. Yes. A plan of attack that could enable him to triumph over the enemies he had.

O-Harmony and Dead Pool better pray to Omni that Sombra didn't get stronger. First he was headed after O-Harmony but not before he got some major power in his corner. There had to be something here in the Omniverse he could use. Maybe the Alicorn Amulet existed in this place? No... losing his sanity was not worth any price. He'd need something more...focused. A way to focus his magic that he didn't have before. Perhaps he could create the items he wanted. Some pony had to have created the Elements of Harmony. So it shouldn't be that hard for him to create the elements of Dark Magic for himself to enable him to better survive in the Omniverse. Yes, the Elements of Dark Magic were how he'd do it. Creating them was not going to be easy to say the least unfortunately.

"Where to begin on creating the Elements of Dark Magic?"
#10
What should the elements of dark magic consist of however? Magic could mostly remain the same although he'd probably call it the element of power in order to distinguish it from that of Twilight Sparkle and her friends. To combat kindness, Cruelty. The power of honesty could be matched by an opposite as well that was better suited to the nature of the power that he wielded. The element of Deception seemed to fit nicely as a name for that particular power that could rival that of the Orange mare. The party mare,  the element of misery could counteract. For here in the Omniverse Sombra was most certainly miserable even though he had friends. Being kept somewhere against your will and having the bulk of your power ripped from you made you most definitely not in a good mood so that fit nicely. Generosity could be cancelled out with the element of Selfishness or Greed. Loyalty was going to be one of the hardest ones for him to figure out how to negate though. Corrupting Loyalty might work, but no. What he needed was something as far from Loyalty as the sun was from the moon. Ah. Disloyalty. Betrayal. The element of Betrayal would be the final piece of the puzzle. Materials for such elements were going to have to be manually gathered by him though. His mind was made up. Now he had the names for his "Elements of Dark Magic" even though he lacked the powers for them presently.  "I'll need to get a lot stronger."

Misery was an emotional state that was caused when there was something important missing in the life of an individual. It could also be caused when a deep trauma had been undergone by the individual. Trauma was something that the former monarch of the Crystal Empire knew all too well and was practically on a first name basis with. Being brought to the Omniverse was a cause of major trauma as it had torn him from his family,  not that they were likely alive after nearly a thousand years anyway, but it was the thought that had counted. It had also torn him away from the Crystal Empire which had been the place he was supposed to have dominion over. The actions of Omni had stripped him of his home and his hearth. Even building a new one was not likely enough. A salty-water like substance came out of his eyes that was more saline. Roughly he rubbed it away with his hooves. Sadness had no place when there was work to be done that he could complete. Another emotion swirled inside him like the lava of a volcano. It was not sorrow and couldn't be the emotion known as grief. No this emotion was pure and unadulterated rage. Rage that had been seething within him for some time now.

The group known as "O-Harrmony"  had only been the lynch pin of his rage presently. Bandits like those in the Endless Dunes had been part of the problem. Searing pain shot though his horn as he started to unknowingly create the "Dark Matter Bomb V1" which derived power from his negative emotions and released it in an explosive energy. Barely able to aim this at an uninhabited island nearby that he was not on, but was close enough King Sombra missed and the orb clashed into the ocean and detonated. A loud explosion rocked the water and caused some of it to shoot into the air. So this was the power that he now held, power that admittedly surpassed anything he had been capable of in the past. Still even his current level of power was not going to be enough. With a 'date' with Dead Pool hanging over his head, King Sombra knew that he needed to prepare himself. Even more magic of the darker persuasion needed to be picked up by him. Some magic of the lighter persuasion could also be picked up by him. After all, the dark king of the Crystal Empire shouldn't be a weakling in any shape or form.

His weakness was unforgivable and could not be tolerated. Even his current abilities of magic were not powerful enough. Sure he might have some of his power back, but it was not enough actually. The Dark Matter Bomb may be formidable, but it was very taxing for him to use and not something he could spam in combat unfortunately. As he couldn't spam the power of the Dark Matter Bomb or his other powers he needed to work on his skills and become powerful enough. Regaining his swordsmanship skills was definitely on his to do list.
#12
The unforgivable nature of his weakness was a royal pain in his flank. Since he couldn't even levitate objects... a fact that annoyed him as even unicorn foals should be able to do so bucking pissed him off. Gaining the strength to do so was essential to his long term plan. Gathering his dark magic he created a cup of water made out of Omnilium. Attempting to pick it up with his magic, he'd accidentally toss it too high. When it crashed down an broke because it was a crystal chalice he groaned in irritation. Doing things like this should be easy, but apparently he needed to learn how to do so again. The ex monarch of the Crystal Empire needed to learn a lot about controlling his power. His shadow form was going to be something he needed to regain as soon as possible. True he had never used his magic like this in centuries, but he knew he could do it.

Attempting to levitate the item again, Sombra smiled when he succeeded. It meant he was one step closer. Take that, Omni. He'd regain his power and have time to spare for the inevitable clash of the Titans between them. After all, there could be only one absolute ruler of everything and if King Sombra had anything to say about it, it would be him who dominated over everything. Determination meant he needed to work on his skills. Ascending to the level of an Alicorn was not going to be an easy task in the slightest. Yet if Twilight Sparkle, who at the time had been a Unicorn Mare who was nothing special could pull it off, so could the dark monarch of the Crystal Empire.

"It's time to get down to business."

He'd continue his singing.

"To defeat my enemies."

His verse continued.

"It won't be long...."

"Before I get strong."

King Sombra scowled as he started trying to lift heavier objects with his magic. Sure he had the ability to levitate objects again which actually was a relief of monumental proportions, he sighed. His power was nowhere near the levels it could be. Summoning up his armor he'd fire a Dusk Cannon blast at it and destroy the armor entirely. Until he was powerful enough to be the King he knew he could be, the armor could not be part of his attire. Most of the ponies didn't wear clothes in Equestria. While it was a blow to his ego to emulate those ponies the dark king of the Crystal Empire knew he'd need to do so in order to achieve real power. The irritation that the humiliation caused him would push him to grow stronger. Dark magic surged around his body as he said.

"O-Harmony will feel my bite, and it will be justifiably right!"
#13
Concentrating, King Sombra started to try to create shadow constructs. The ability to make shadow constructs was completely beyond him unfortunately. The dark monarch of the Crystal Empire once more felt the searing pain of his anger course through his veins. While it hurt because he needed to be angry in order to use his magic, the Crystal Empire was beyond his reach. Frowning as he looked over his attempted failure to create anything out of his dark magic, he started to realize that his powers were still limited. Despite his best efforts he lacked the information about the Omniverse and more than that, lacked the power he needed in order to protect himself here. Sure some of his powers had returned but it was not enough. Attempts were made by him to grow dark crystals that he could use for a lot of things. None of his attempts to do so were actually succeeding.

"Why aren't my powers working fully? Oh right. Omni. That son of a whorse."
#14
"So far I have discovered that I possess a spell that allows me to turn the natural force known as "Lightning" into a devastating weapon when I am out doors. In doors the spell has proven to be completely ineffectual. I also have one called "Nightmare Force" that creates a blast that causes anyone subjected to it to experience their worst terrors. This is similar to the curse I originally enacted upon the Crystal Empire to block the heart from working. Let's see here. I also have one that enables me to shoot a high powered blast  of dark magic.  Another one of the ones in my bag of tricks is a bomb made out of my dark magic that draws it's strength from the negative emotions of the individuals around me."

King Sombra paused.

"And of course,  my personal favorite. Crystal Spike Shot which shoots a crystal spike that has rather...explosive tendencies when it penetrates the flesh of an opponent. Those are my abilities thus far, but they aren't enough. On their own they would be likely next to useless against the group known as O-Harmony. What I need is a plan. Something smart, but ruthless at the same time. Perhaps I could ask around and see if anyone knows where thye are staying presently. If anyone does know, taking them down should be easier."

A groan was done by the dark king of the Crystal Empire. Truthfully he was nowhere near the levels of readiness. Even the cool air of the environment he was currently in couldn't soothe him presently. Survival was his only concern and one he planned to carry out, ruthlessly. If in order to survive he had to murder the president of O-Harmony, then so be it.

"But what should I begin to learn next? The power of Fire could be a useful asset to my arsenal. Being able to spawn fire-balls and create barriers comprised of my blazing fury as well as shooting blasts of fire could be interesting to say the least. Fire magic would be useful as a powerful style because it would allow me to defend myself. Of course there are also other elemental properties. Water could be useful as an elemental property because it could be commanded by me. Pressurized blasts of water, blinding and searing steam. There's truly a lot that could be done with the power of the water element, actually. Water could also be used to conjure shards of ice and use them as a variety of weapons. The water elemental power could prove a unique power that I didn't have beforehand. Earth on the other hand is solid and rigid. This is the elemental power that I possessed before and is a power that I must relearn how to do so. Earth allowed me the power to create the Crystals I once used."

"Air is the last element that could be used by me. With it I could suck the oxygen out of their lungs, or to create blades of air. Furthermore shields of air. Perhaps I could even fly via the use of the air element. Air is versatile even if it is not as powerful as the Earth, Fire or Water Elements."

The ex-monarch of the Crystal Empire started to think about which of the elements should fit him. Fire on the one had a lot of potential power because such could lead to the detriment of his mind. Fire could corrupt an individual in similar fashion to the Alicorn Amulet. Wind required a more lighthearted mind set and willingness to do something other tan this. Water on the other hand required the ability to change and adapt. Last but not least, Earth required that he become rigid and unmovable like the Earth itself.

"I'll need to choose an element for myself."
#16
Air.

Water.

Earth.

Fire.

Light.

Darkness.

Poison.

Metal.

Those were the cardinal elements of magic in his world. The air element required being lighthearted,  and able to change like the wind itself. No Two wind elemental mages were ever the same. It was an element he'd had no practice in whatsoever but knew he'd need to practice. As part of his preparation to ascend to an Alicorn,  he was going to do something not even his mentor Starswirl the Bearded had done. Every element and then some were going to be mastered by the former ruler of the Crystal Empire. Sure he had been deposed but he was not beaten yet. Twilight and her allies couldn't beat him without the Elements of Harmony or the Crystal Heart. The chances of them conning a prime into making them were slim to none. The element of water required a cool head, and a fluid nature. This element was going to be one of the hardest, next to air for him to master because it didn't have much in the way of rigidity. Earth was an element that required someone to be rigid in their believes, and unyielding.. strong like the very ground they drew their power from. Earth was an element that oddly fit the King of All Monsters.

Fire was also an element that could fit him for more often than not he let himself succumb to the fury he concealed within. Case in point, his plans for the group O-Harmony. Their entire website was going to be smashed by sheer virtue of his rage and his alone. No one else was going to be allowed to do the work. Assuming he could find their location, they'd all boil in the solar plasma that was his fury. Light was an element that the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle embodied practically. Battling her on her level with her own elemental power was going to be difficult to say the least. Learning how to manipulate such an element was the hardest part as he had no clue where to begin to be honest. Darkness was a more fitting element as it was the closest to his dark magic. Poison also had it's place because it could be used to make people suffer in a similar fashion basically to some of the spells he had in his arsenal presently. Metal was unfortunately beyond him.

"Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Light, Darkness, Metal and Poison. Elements of magic from my world that no one has mastered all of. I will be the first Unicorn to command all of that power simultaneously."

"Back to the grind of trying to decide what kind of structure to build for myself,  I suppose. If Omnilium can truly make anything one wants, I'd have made my castle by now. I guess either I'm not powerful enough, or I lack the Omnilium to do so."

It was probably the latter which made the dark king who had once ruled the Crystal Empire bucking boiling over with fury, much like a tea pot boiled with water. As if O-Harmony was not bad enough he still had the murderous psychopath to deal with. Chances were that O-Harmony was going to try to do something to offend the imbecile and blame it on him which was not good to say the least. Given that he wasn't powerful enough yet to take on the idiot, Sombra needed to play to his strong suits. Well he was good at bossing people around. Just one small problem. He lacked an army of any variety. Those white troopers would have made good soldiers had he still possessed the ability to mind control them. Regaining his powers was his second goal. Since it didn't befit a king to beg a person for permission to live in their 'house' the ex ruler of the Crystal Empire truly wanted his own.

Considering he lacked the power to build a place of his own right now,  King Sombra knew there had to be other ways he could track down O-Harmony. Perhaps someone in a world that was more technologically sophisticated might actually know. It certainly was a wise decision for him to attempt to learn more about the abilities of "technology" because it seemed fitting that he learn, and master such. Knowing that,  the dark king attempted to turn himself into his shadow form to move as he didn't want to make his hooves more miserable than they already were. But it didn't work. Okay. A parchment was materialized by him and he started to write on it his to do list.

1. Kill Bandits in Endless Dunes - Well they've been made to see the error of their ways, and the first five of them are dead anyway who attemptd to eat, skin, sell, stew or otherwise harass me. Still they might be a problem. I'll have to go back and wipe them out.

2. Build a Home -  I refuse to impose on Carmelita Sly-Cooper again. While her hospitality was wonderful and the miracles of engineering she showed me were impressive to say the least, a King needs his own place. In addition in order to properly facilitate hunting down O-Harmony and making them suffer for hooking me up with Dead Pool, I must have a place to stay. Also, I want air conditioning, and cool water.

3. Regain my power - I refuse to be reliant on others. While I am regaining my power, it is not quickly enough. I will become an Alicorn and show each and every last one of the natives here my wrath.

4. Rebuild my Kingdom: Since my Kingdom was not brought with me to this place, I must regain it. Therefore I must build my Kingdom anew in this Omniverse and prove that I have what it takes to rule.

5. Obtain a decent meal.

6.  Somehow make Twilight interested in murdering that son of a whorse Omni. Perhaps if I were able to promote her or one of her less dangerous friends to a Prime, she'd consider it.

7.  Sombra was going to relearn how to do his magic fully.

Looking over the completed to do-list,  King Sombra realized something. While he may have checked one item off of his to do list,  the situation with the bandits he still had a lot of work that he needed to be done. Magic, dark or otherwise was something that couldn't simply be left to chance. No, the ex ruler of the Crystal Empire knew that he needed to learn as quickly as he could. For he could not rightfully be called the King of All Monsters unless he were able to deliver some monstrous retribution upon his opponents. With this in mind the former ruler started to make a plan. A king usually sent out soldiers to do battle for him, but he had no soldiers yet. Wait. Omnilium could be used to make anything, right? When he tried to do it and failed, King Sombra lifted one of his hooves, and bashed himself in the face. Of course. Why was NOTHING ever easy for him here? It was like the entire world was guaranteed to ensure that he failed completely and miserably.

8. His base would be an impregnable fortress, with heavy walls and a Forcefield as well as Auto-Turrets.

Only unlike Carmelita Sly-Cooper he didn't believe in warning shots. Lethal shots were all that were going to be used by him.

Many of the other multi-colored equines of his world loved to break into spontaneous song numbers and a bit of dancing. Normally he'd deny the "magic of music" and prevent it from working on him. But given it could have a stress relieving effect, and he didn't have his other means of stress relief operational because he didn't have a castle to torture the Bipeds inside, he decided to start to sing. A black and red guitar appeared in his hooves made out of Omnilium as he started to play it while he sang.

"Omni did me wrong."

"Regaining my power won't take long."

"I'll build a mighty tower and sure won't lose."

"The path of the Evil Overlord renewed is what I choose."

"O-Harmony and the Bandits will suffer my wrath."

"They will take a bath in the lava of my fury."

"Attempts to earn my favor will fail by them."

"They will wish they had bailed, when I burn them with my hatred."

"They think they've bucking irritated me?"

"They ain't seen nothing yet."

"They should have quit."

"But now it's too late for those twits."

"And now it's time for the second verse."

"Brought to this verse, I'll make it worse."

"Omni and his loyalists will be loaded into a herse."

"For I'm not joking. I'll be poking their graves with a stick."

"Omni, what a Dick."

"He thinks he can pull the power stealing trick?"

"He's even ripped away any towers I could have called home. "

"Now I'm forced to roam. "

"One day I'll find a new home and then revenge will be mine."

King Sombra stopped singing. The song had instrumentals played by him on a guitar. But it sounded more regal.

Figuring out how to build a castle that spanned a good chunk of the larger uninhabited island he was on had been a monumental effort on behalf of the dark emperor who had once ruled the Crystal Empire. Now even though he didn't have the Crystal Empire or any slaves at his disposal he had a 'house' he could be proud of. Not only did this place have running water and air-conditioning but it also had turrets similar to what he had seen out at Carmelita Sly-Cooper's base. But as he couldn't figure out the technology behind the cannons he decided to opt for a more magical version. In this case it was pillars that had black diamonds embedded on them. The diamonds carried spells of a lethal nature that they were able to shoot at anyone who dared try to invade his base. In addition he'd also added surface to air crystal missile launchers that would shoot at anyone who tried a flyby over his island and was not permitted by him. Underestimating his opponents meant that Sombra was a fool. This had been his fatal flaw both with the Alicorn Sisters, and with Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Due to that, he'd never allow himself the luxury of haughtiness again. After all being frozen didn't appeal in any way, shape or form to him.

"It's done, finally!"
