Dates and Other Notices

Everything is obviously subject to some change pending any disasters that might befall my personal or professional life.

Key Dates

Weekend of May 7-8th - Info Threads go online
Starting May 16th - Writers may officially declare their intent to join.  Their character will receive a correspondence from Syntech about the trip.
Starting May 27th or 28th - Characters can officially 'sign up' in-character.  A Danteverse facility will be open starting on this date (details forthcoming)
June 10th at ~8 PM Central Time- Sign ups close.  Danteverse closes to non-participants.
June 10 until June 14th at 8 PM Central Time - Intro Round ('The Flight') -> While taking a full four days OOC (subject to change), this will represent the 2 hour plane fight from the facility to the island.

June 14th at 8 PM -> Round 1 begins with all survivors starting the the plane crash.  Have fun.

Just as a heads up. Sign ups will last until June 12th at around 10 am CST. This is to give you weekend warriors time to get up your sign ups.

The Flight will take off on June 12th at 7 pm CST.

Round 6 ends the morning of July 12th.

Round 10 ends on Friday, June 29th at 7 AM.

Round 10 will be a double elimination round.

Round 11 will end on Tuesday, August 2nd at 8 AM CST.

Round 12 will end Saturday, August 6th at 6:30 AM CST

Round 13 will end on Friday, August 12th at 7 AM EST. Yes, I'll be in a different time zone.

Updates will be finalized by the morning of August 13th.

I'll be on vacation starting next Monday. I will still have a phone for Skype, but I don't expect to be online that often, because this website looks like garbage on my telephone.

Next round will be special in that I'll be awarding prizes to the Top 2, and the Bottom 2 will be eliminated from final prize contention. That will leave us with 5. There will be one more Round that will probably last less-than 4 days and eliminate another individual. Then the 'end game' will kick in. So yes, I am slightly modifying this - http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=5680 - thread by reducing the trigger number from 5 to 4. I want the extra round to make sure all the pieces line up a little better.

Round 14 will last four days. It will conclude Wednesday, August 17th at 7 AM CST (back to central time).

1 person will be eliminated. 2-3 people will die.

The word count is lowered to 1600 for Round 14.

Survivors have 3 days to post as much as they would like.

Except for Vincent and Deadpool, who receive only 2000 words for this round but receive 2 extra days (if you need it... please don't need it)

After that time period, I will post just once or twice. After that, whoever is still alive is a Survivor, and you have my deepest thanks and congratulations.
