Character name: Goku
Character source: Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (Never GT. Never GT)
Character history:
To keep it as concise as possible...
Goku was born to Bardock, a Saiyan warrior, who was embarrassed by the weakness of his infant son. The boy was sent off to conquer Earth, a backwater planet, believed to have no real indigenous threats. He was brainwashed and prepared to do just that... but he was instead found by the ancient martial artist Gohan, who tamed him. Or, tried to at least. He had more success after a fall into a gorge cracked Goku's skull and wiped out all that nasty alien brainwashing.
Goku killed Gohan during a 'great ape' transformation, and was content to be alone until he met Bulma, a traveling billionaire genius playgirl philanthropist. Together, they hunted for the magical Dragon Balls, which would grant their bearer any wish. Goku's adventures took him far and wide, learning under the Turtle Hermit Master Roshi, training with his best friend Krillin, saving the world from Kami's evil twin, beating up armies and training underneath Kami himself. All good stuff.
Goku also settled down with Chi-Chi, and had a son, Gohan. Things really heated up when his long-lost space alien brother Raditz arrived out of nowhere, kidnapped Gohan, and demanded that Goku complete his mission. Instead, Goku teamed up with Piccolo, the son of Kami's dark half, and defeated him. Well. Kind of. The battle claimed Goku's life.
Of course, it didn't end there! Two other Saiyans were soon on their way towards Earth, and Goku had to rush to train underneath the legendary King Kai in the afterlife so he could meet that challenge! Brought back to life by the Dragonballs, Goku only just made it back to Earth in time to fight his greatest challenge yet - Nappa and Vegeta. Nappa was defeated easily. Vegeta... not so much.
This battle claimed the lives of many of Earth's defenders, including Piccolo, without whom the Dragon Balls could not exist. So, Gohan, Krillin and Bulma traveled to Namek in order to wish Piccolo back to life with the original Dragon Balls, and Goku, after he healed, traveled with them. Vegeta, who had escaped with his life, ALSO traveled to Namek.
As did the malicious Lord Frieza, an evil alien space emperor who had destroyed the saiyans home planet Vegeta out of fear of the legend of the Super Saiyan.
The team was on Namek for a really long time. Like, a really, really long time. They beat up Freiza’s minions, then fought Frieza himself! But Frieza was the toughest fight any of them had ever had, and even Goku’s most powerful attack did little more than piss off Frieza. When the malevolent alien killed Krillin, Goku became the legendary Super Saiyan, killed Frieza, and was presumed to have died in the explosion of the planet...
BUT HE DIDN'T! Instead he was snatched up by Omni. How’s that for a plot twist?

ATK: 3
DEF: 2

Starting Proficiencies (2000): Physical Strength (1000), Ranged Proficiency (1000)
Starting Powers (2200): Master Acrobat (400), Flight (1800)
Starting Moves (600):
Kamehameha: Goku’s signature technique and the primary technique of the Turtle Hermit School of Martial Arts. Goku takes a firm stance, unable to move (though he can stay still or fall in the air if he was flying) and chants the name of the technique whilst gathering his energy. When he unleashes the attack, a bright blue beam of power streaks towards his opponent at about the speed of an arrow. This technique is pretty draining – especially if it is charged to create a larger beam which does more damage. The minimum amount of time it takes to use is 1 second (which would be little more powerful than a punch) but it can be charged for up to 30 seconds for much more impressive results. At present the maximum beam size is 3 feet in diameter. (600)
