Yuuka's neverending quest for an alt

So yeah. I look forward greatly to the day I can acquire an alt. In addition to my own deliberation, I'd prefer some input from the community since I have a metric f-ckton of options that I'd be interested in playing. You don't need to give me solid reasons for your choice if you give one, but I'd be interested in hearing them if you have them. I may add more in the future (because I sure don't have self control).

Characters are ordered by series, not preference.



Whis (Dragon Ball)

Pros:
+Totally different from Yuuka.
+Huge asshole.
+Basically infinite forwards potential.
+Seems like he'd be fun to roleplay.
+Just as hilariously flamboyant as Mettaton was.

Cons:
-No experience playing him.
-He won't get to be as much of a magnificent bastard without being omnipotent.
-TBH I just watched Battle of the Gods/Super so I may just be hype.[/spoiler]


Yukino Mayuzumi (Persona)

[spoiler]Theme Song: Snow Queen's Theme (Arranged)

Pros:
+Objective best bisexual fire delinquent.
+"Never been to a doctor... Sent a couple of people there, though."
+I enjoy her greatly.
+Pretty easy to build and advance.

Cons:
-Pretty similar to Yuuka, even in name.
-IDK how a Persona would work on Omniverse.
-Never been in something longterm with her.[/spoiler]


Chaos Hero (Shin Megami Tensei)

[spoiler]Theme Song: Chaos Battle

Pros:
+I love chaos tbh.
+Huge geek, punching bag.
+I've played him in a couple similar things before.
+Pretty obvious upward advancement.

Cons:
-Kind of boring tbh. May get bored quickly.
-How good he would be would depend a lot on who he interacts with.
-IDK how to develop his character, like, at all.[/spoiler]


Azura (Shin Megami Tensei: IMAGINE)

[spoiler]Theme Song: Meguru Gou

Pros:
+The Megami Tensei.
+Enough character to go with but not too much to adapt.
+Genki Girl™ to contrast blood and guts Yuuka.
+I love the lore of SMT IMAGINE and I'm sad it's gone.
+Named her sword "Love-sword", wtf Azura.

Cons:
-How TF to build a Demo-Dash Mage???
-Most of her powers would be fodder at best.
-NO ART AT ALL
-Child Azura is cuter & has some art but Adult Azura is the one that fights.[/spoiler]


Hallelujah (Shin Megami Tensei IV FINAL)

[spoiler]Theme Song: United

Pros:
+Everything Chaos Hero has but Better™.
+Actually has a backstory unlike everyone else so far (bar Yukki).
+My Type (delinquent with a heart of gold).
+Mastema offered to play a canon-mate.
+Lots of interaction potential.

Cons:
-Powered-up-form based.
-FINAL is kind of hype-y, not even out in english yet.
-Super hard to play before level 2.

Navarre (Shin Megami Tensei IV FINAL)

[spoiler]Theme Song: Alone Together

Pros:
+The most goddamn entertaining part of FINAL.
+Again, has a backstory.
+I love ditzy dorks like him.
+Mastema offered to play a canon-mate.
+"DOOOUUUU DAAAA?????"

Cons:
-How the f-ck do I build him? He's a buff-user with no reliable attacks.
-Most of his abilities are Stealth and Phasing based.
-FINAL is kind of hype-y, not even out in english yet.

Kaiya Korei (Original)

[spoiler]Theme Song: Yoru Naku Usagi wa Yume wo Miru

Pros:
+My OC, my rules.
+Profile is already written.
+She is relatively entertaining to play.
+My main OC, I have a good amount of experience.

Cons:
-Literally have no idea how to advance her.
-Kind of similar in aesthetic to Yuuka, but sadder.
-What universe would I even pull her from?

Theodosia Annabelle Pettigrew (Original, Pokemon-based)

[spoiler]Theme Song: End of Daylight

Pros:
+My OC, my rules.
+Entertaining as f-ck.
+Like Navarre but a jackass, basically.
+Gastly Gijinkas aren't very common.

Cons:
-Fighting??? Do I just give her Pokemon moves???
-How would a character in a wheelchair even work on Omniverse?
-Her personality is a bit similar to Yuuka.

Katherine Aster (Original, Pokemon-based)

[spoiler]Theme Song: This Ain't a Scene, Kid.

Pros:
+My OC, my rules.
+Been roleplaying her for upwards of 10 years.
+Super fun to play, good potential.
+Omniverse needs a local arms dealer.

Cons:
-How do I integrate Lucas, her Meowth?
-How do I build her to fight, period?
-I only have the one picture of her, otherwise she's faceclaimed.
