Just a clarification at the start: this is intended to be an interest check for a void quest coming further down the line, sometime after the next 4-5 months. If you don't want to plan that far ahead, do move on and/or wait for updates!
In brief, my plan is that Amaterasu finishes the Dwarfholm quest, becoming pals with the dwarves. In their halls she hears some rumors according to which the frozen peaks of the Frozen Fields reach so high that they break through the limits of the verse, and actually poke into the realm of Omni - or something along those lines, anyway. Hearing about it she decides to organize a small party to go find said entrance.
Who could participate? Anyone who meets the requirements below. Amaterasu will ask a few individuals around in Dwarfholm (not necessarily in the halls, so having completed the Dwarfholm quest is not a requirement) and if that's insufficient will attempt to recruit others by the entrance to the Frozen Fields - IC reasons will be established depending on who's participating. I would aim for a small party of 4 people tops as managing a big group would be rather difficult.
REQUIREMENTS:
-You must have at least 10.000 earned OM (1.000 away from level 3): having level 3 to finish the quest is a requirement and while the word requirement is shared among party members, you should still pull your own weight and write ~10.000 words (that's around 1.000 OM) at the very least.
The above has been changed, please refer to the bottom of this post for the updated requirements.
-You shouldn't have anything planned for your character to do for the time where the expedition is set to start (4-5 months from when this thread is posted: 25.07.2016), or if you do you should be willing to adjust your plans. You should also count in ~6-8 months of time where you can dedicate this character to the void quest.
-Have a consistent presence on the site. That's not to say you must be around daily, but poking your head in once every couple of days is preferable. (I'm not counting real-life unexpected interferences, of course. The real world takes priority, always)
-Literacy. As I would prefer people who're able to pull their own weight in an acceptable amount of time so as not to create uncomfortable situations for anyone, consider the following: do you trust yourself with writing 20-40k words for the void quest, 3k words for the Void and then some more when you meet Omni, all with a character who would thus be occupied for 6-8 months of OOC time, possibly more? (note: I am basing my calculus on that every participant writes ~3k words per fortnight and that the void quest requires 30k words to pass => 140 days, nearly 5 months, plus time spent in the Oververse. 3000 words every 14 days is not a hard requirement, but you should aim towards something like that)
Geez Ammy, that's a lot of words! Yep, but the Void Quests are quests requiring a fair amount of dedication. I don't mind going at a slower pace, but that just means that we'll take longer to finish the quest. Keep in mind that 3000 words per fortnight is 215 words per day, which you can write fairly quickly.
I also recommend that you read a little of the posts of whoever may be in the party already, if you feel confident in writing with those people - or on the other hand you're not worried that we may drag you down. Remember that you'll be working with those people for half a year, probably longer, so ask yourself if you're really up to the task.
Finally: while the main way to do this will be first-come-first-served, you can still ask to be put on the waiting list if the party is full. There may be issues for some player who needs to drop out or changes their mind. And of course if anyone else wants to do their own expedition you're welcome to hijack the thread later on, or contact the people who didn't make it.
On another note: if the involved are willing we can organize live-chat meetings through Skype, GDocs or the like, where our characters can interact in a fluid environment. Dialogue ramps up the word count very quickly and live-chat will make you write much more than you realize. I can explain this to you if you're interested!
5+ ATK should be met easily: Amaterasu has 3 ATK and a T1 Super Attack, which means that to meet the minimum we only need 1 ATK (and just about everyone has that).
8+ SPD and/or DEF is feasible as well: Amaterasu has 3 SPD, 1 DEF and two Powers (Super Jumping and Master Acrobat), meaning that 2 more SPD and DEF is required to reach the minimum. Most people (save for Demetri) have 1+ DEF so things should be okay.
In total, this means that people with lower level characters can also join in, if they are interested.

UPDATE ON REQUIREMENTS
As you may be aware requirements have been changed. Currently the requirement to be able to tackle the Frozen Fields void quest is:
5+ ATK between entire group (may use powered-up stats as basis). Requirement lowered by 1/2/3 if you have a Tier 1/2/3 Super Attack.
8+ SPD and/or DEF between entire group (may use powered-up stats as basis). Requirement lowered by 1 for each Power of any type.

(Thanks Ezzy!)
If you find yourself unable to you can always drop out (or just have your character separate themselves from the others and cutting the quest short).
