(07-12-2016, 10:39 PM)Azure W. Drake Wrote: Would different vision modes in a Predator's Bio mask count as Enahanced Senses?

If you're using them for their intended purposes like seeing through walls or spotting people hiding through thermal sensing or whatever, yes. If you just want to RP seeing in red for whatever reason and it'll have no effect on how you sense things, then no.

I'm sorry that I have so many questions, however the Bio masks have a zoom function, is this pure rp fodder or does it count as Enahanced Senses?

By itself, it would just be fodder. However, if the masks also reveal invisible/hidden/obscured characters, then you'd need Enhanced Senses.

As a part of my Yautja OC's story arc I decided that the weapons he usually uses, besides his wrist blades, are scattered across the Omniverse. Am I allowed to give him a locator that shows only the location of the items?
That's roleplay fluff and completely okay! However it would probably not be allowed if someone else is able to pick up the items and your locator can "track" them while they carry it on their person.

This signature is so overloaded...
Soooo... couple questions!

1) I've noticed a few people have 'PvP Flag' in their signatures, but I can't find anything about what that means? Apologies if I'm missing something very obvious but could I get some direction on that?

2) Oh yeah, signatures! I can't seem to edit mine yet - is that something which comes on approval?

3) And finally, am I not meant to post elsewhere until approved? I've tried posting in a couple of OOC threads and I see they are awaiting approval - no problems at all if it is just a 'staff haven't had time to make sure you aren't a spammer yet' checkpoint, but I want to make sure I'm not ... actually being a spammer by posting where I'm not meant to.

Thanks!

And a couple of answers for you!

1) Ah, the PvP Flags.... Neat little thing. You can have a look at that business over here: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=4217

2) I'm not...entirely sure about that. But that is probably the case.

3) It pretty much is a checkpoint just like that. Only a few folks have permission/power to approve new accounts and they just haven't gotten to you yet. Shouldn't take too much longer, though.
If you see me around and you got questions, just give a shout. I'm happy to assist.

What materials are most buildings in Tier 6 of Coruscant generally made of?

Low quality concrete, industrial steel, plexiglass to keep would-be looters out, all that sort of thing I'd imagine. Lots of cheap fiberwood and particle boards, slums and shanty towns, tent cities, plenty of graffiti... It's basically a city-sized ghetto in the middle of a gang war.

If Sage is telling someone a story, and I actually want to write the tale he is telling, would it be better to put it in the Astral Realm or the Creative corner? (Figured since one gets OM and the other doesn't it might be good to check this out first...)
If history is to become legend, it first must be recorded.
Is it okay if I trophy kill Secondaries? (Where the Yuatja rips the head and spine out of its prey)

Of course, with the appropriate ATK stat. You gotta remember that secondaries aren't ALL weaker than primes, however. Plenty of secondaries that can kick some prime ass, or secondaries who's deaths would make you a serious target.

This would depend on the context of the tale in question. If it's related to the character themselves, you may post it in the Astral Realm. If it isn't, but is something that takes place in the Omniverse, you may post it in whatever verse is most appropriate. If it's neither of those things, then it's best to put it in the Creative Corner.

Trying to understand the physics a little more...

Secondaries are summoned by Primaries much like any other thing that costs Omnilium.

Omnilium can be obtained from things (particularly valuable things) through a process of 'reverse-summoning' known as Extraction.

Is it theoretically possible to 'Extract' a helpless secondary and take the Omnilium back out of them?

If that is theoretically possible ... is it likewise reasonable to assume that having that happen to you would REALLY HURT? (I'm picturing something like The Dip from Who Framed Roger Rabbit).

(I'd also assume this is purely a roleplay thing and wouldn't actually net bonus OM, but could be the basis of a horrible plot for the right kind of maniacal villain).

You are correct on all counts.

It wouldn't provide any bonus OM, but it could be away to explain IC the OM you're getting naturally from posting, if that's a thing you'd care to do.

And, well....yes, it would be extremely unpleasant. It's basically breaking the poor individual down into what they're made of, in the most literal sense. It takes a fair bit of time to do, so it wouldn't be easy to do against someone not well restrained/broken/defeated enough to not offer any resistance, but y'know...par for the course for a good villain, eh? :frogbon:

Question. Would flying a plane close to Coruscant's gate get you shot at?
@Hal, I don't think so, no. So long as you don't cause any trouble.

You can convey your memories in such a manner, but it would still require Telepathy.

Yes. However, even as a Prime, the mount would still be subject to all the rules and limitations related to vehicles. Furthermore, they still wouldn't be able to assist you in PvP combat without being turned into Assists.
